최근 무선 멀티미디어 센서 네트워크(WMSN : Wireless Multimedia Sensor Network)에서 비디오 영상을 전송하는데 있어 그 특성을 고려하지 않은 전송 방법으로 인하여 영상 정보에 대한 신뢰도가 낮다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문은 WMSN에서 비디오 프레임의 구성요소인 I, P, B 픽처의 특성에 따라 타임아웃을 동적으로 설정하여 노드와 노드간의 패킷 수신율을 증가시켜 전체 서비스의 QoS를 제공하고, 이벤트를 감지하여 특정 구간의 영상 정보를 제공받을 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.

Antitumor antibiotic HS-1 was purified from the culture broth of a streptomyces floridae SHS-1372 which had been isolated from soil, by solvent extraction, silica gel column chromatography and gel filtration. It was confirmed that HS-1 was active against gram positive bacteria and cancer cells(K562, P388, MCF-7, HT-29). Through the analysis of UV spectrum, melting point, IR spectrum, FAB-MS, $_{1}$H-NMR, $_{13}$C-NMR, 2D-NMR spectra, HS-1 could be identified sa the actinomycin X$_{2}$ antibiotics containing actinocine chromophore and peptides consisted of threonine, proline, methylvaline, sarcosine, D-valine and 4-ketoproline.

Isoguanosine and berberine 1:1 mixture[l:[1(mole:mole)] has been prepared and evaluated by measuring antitumor effects against various tumor cell lines in culture and in mice. We reported that the synergistic effect of isoguanosine and berberine mixture has been revealed compared with each of isoguanosine and berberine increased by $3{\sim}8$ times than that of each components in various tumor cell lines in vitro. The most effective dose of isoguanosine and berberine mixture was 60 mg/kg/day in mice bearing S-180 solid tumor, the %(1-T/C) values were 70%. Against the P-388 leukemia, isoguanosine-berberine mixture was the most effective at the dose of 60 mg/kg/day, the %T/C values were 163%.

Several Pt(II) and Pt(IV) complexes of N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine(2-HEen) and N,N'-bis(2-chloroethyl) ethylenediamine(2-CEen) as carrier ligand were prepared. Water soluble Pt complexes were also synthesized by modification of leaving groups. The cytotoxicity of these compounds against leukemia L1210 and P388 cell in vitro were examined. The Pt complexes containing 2-CEen showed more effective cytotoxicity than those containing 2-HEen. Through the nephrotoxicity tests on the primary cultured proximal tubular cells of rabbit kidney and human kidney cells in vitro, Pt complexes with 2-CEen showed higher than those with 2-HEen which were consistent with cytotoxicity but showed very low nephrotoxicity compared with cisplatin. Also the values of BUN and creatinine in serum of Pt complexes were reduced remarkably compared with cisplatin, therefore it can be concluded that new Pt complexes seems to have much lower nephrotoxicity than cisplatin.

The compounds, 1-Linoleic-2-olein (1), stigmasterol (2), 1,4-glucopyranosyl-1',4'-glucopyranosyl-1",4"-glucopyranoside (3), 2',3'-diphosphoryl-1'-propanoxy-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside (4), 1-Linoleic-3-olein (5), l-(N,N,N-trimethyl ethyl amino phosphoryl)-2,3-dilinolein ion (6) and glyceryl phosphate (7) were isolated and identified from the Mushroom of Pholiota adiposa for the first time by column chromatography, TLC, UV, IR, $^1H$ and $^{13}C$ NMR, EI-MS, and FAB-MS. The compounds 1 and 2 were found to have weak cytotoxicity against P388 murine leukemia cells. However, the compounds 6 and 7 did not show any cytotoxicity.

Many plants collected at Japan, China, Korea, Imdonesia and South America were applied to antitumor and / or cytotoxic screening tests against Sarcoma 180 ascites in mice and / or V-79, KB, P388 cultured cells. On the course of these screening tests, alcoholic extracts of Forsythia viridissima (Oleaceae), Eurycoma longifolia(Simaroubaceae), Rubia cordifolia and R. akane(Rubiaceae), Cissampelos pareira and Abuta concolor (Menispermaceae), Nardostachys chinensis (Valerianacese), Mansoa alliaceae (Bignoniaceae), Casearia sylvestris (Flacourtiacear), Maytenus ilicifolia (Celastraceae), Hedychium coronarium (Zingiberaceae), Croton palanostigma(Euphorbiaceae), Cocculus trilobus(Menispermaceae), Ginkgo biloba(Ginkgoaceae), Alpinia galanga and Cucculus zanthorrhiza(Zingiberaceae), Evodia rutaecarpa(Rutaceae), and Periploca sepium(Asclepiadaceae) showed significant activity and their active principles were clarified. In this paper, a few antitumor substances in above plants are introduced.

Two known modified dipeptides, trichodermamide A (1) and aspergillazine A (2), were isolated from an ethyl acetate extract of the metabolite of a marine-derived fungus Spicaria elegans, and were found to have a weak cytotoxic effect on three cancer cell lines P388, A-549, and HL-60 agreed. To our knowledge, this is the first report on the isolation of compounds 1 and 2 from the fungus Spicaria elegans and their cytotoxic effect.

The petrographic, geochemical, and physical properties of the Jangseong and Chinese coals were investigated. The most common mineral matters of Jangseong coal are kaolinite, muscovite, sericite, illite, quartz and pyrophyllite. Mineral matters in Chinese coal are mainly composed of quartz, calcite, dolomite and kaolinite. Jangseong coal ash has higher content of $Al_2O_3$, $K_2O$, $TiO_2$, As, Rb and V, and lower content of CaO, MgO, $Na_2O$, $Fe_2O_3$ and $P_2O_5$ than those of Chinese coal ash. The liquid limit and the plasticity index of Jangseong coal were compared with those of Chinese coal. The result shows that the briquetting ability of Jangseong coal is a little bit better than that of Chinese coal. The briquetting ability is found to be principally dependent on the type and the content of mineral matter in coal, especially clay mineral.

We investigated effects of methanol extract of Aloe vera on anticancer drugs(cisplatin, mitomycin C, 5-fluorouracil)-induced growth inhibition in p388, L1210, HCT-15, SK-HepG-1 as cancer cell lines and mouse splenocytes as a normal cell by MTT assay, respectively. We also examined the effects of aloe extract and mitomycin C on the mitogen(Con, A, LPS)-induced splenocyte proliferation. Aloe extract(0.25 mg/m , 1.25 mg/m , 2.5 mg/m , 5.0 mg/m ) showed dose-dependently selective cytotoxicity against the cancer cell lines. In contrast, Aloe extract increased the growth and proliferation of the normal mouse splenocytes. The combination of aloe extract with anticancer drugs showed an additive effect for the cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines. However, that combination reduced clealy the anticancer drugs-induced toxicity against the normal mouse splenocytes.

Acetobacter aceti OLS-001 균체에서 추출한 추출물의 농도가 높을수록, 배양시간이 길수록 암세포의 증식 억제 효과가 높게 나타났으며, 현미경 관찰에서 본래의 암세포 형태가 변형되고 세포막사이의 경계막이 흐트러지면서 사멸하는 현상을 나타냈다.
