Precise Position Synchronous Control of Two-Axes System Using Two-Degree-of-Freedom PI Controller in BLDC Motor (2자유도 PI 제어기를 이용한 2축 BLDC 모터 시스템의 정밀 위치동기 제어)

  • This paper describes a precise position synchronous control of two axes rotating system using BLDC motors and a cooperative control based on decoupling technique and PI control law. The system is required performances both good speed following and minimum position synchronous errors simultaneously. To accomplish these goals, the three kinds of controllers are designed. At first, the current and speed controller are designed very simply to compensate the influences of disturbances and to follow up speed references quickly. Especially, the two degree of freedom PI controller is used considering both good tracking for speed reference input and quick rejection of disturbances in speed controller. Finally, a position synchronous controller is designed as a simple proportional controller to minimize position synchronous errors. The validity of the proposed method is confirmed through some numerical simulations. Moreover, the results are compared to the conventional master-slave control ones to show the effectiveness of the proposed system.

  • We propose a phase stabilisation and control system for the use in fiber-optic ESPI. The fast phase stabilisation against environmental perturbations has been achieved by using Fuzzy PI control. Combined with closed-loop switching, the system showed accurate and fast ${\pi}/2$ phase stepping capability.

  • As industry gets rapidly automatic, D.C servo motor which is controlled by a PI controller needs accurate control. However, when a system has various characters, it is very difficult to guarantee its accuracy. In this paper, rule-based auto-tuning PI controller for motor speed control system is presented as a way of solving this problem. Some rules are based on Ziegler-Nichols step response and expert knowledge. Control parameters are determined by error, slope, steepest slope point, and permiSSIon overshoot. The accuracy of control is demonstrated by a computer s mulation .

  • Two control techniques - PI and LQR(Linear Quadratic Regulator) - of DSTATCOM (Distribution Static Synchronous Compensator) for line voltage regulation in distribution system are presented. It is shown that the voltage waveform is improved if the proposed methods are applied in IEEE 13 radial distribution system using PSCAD/EMTDC package in case of single line-to-ground fault. The three cases - without control, with PI control and with LQR control - are compared. The LQR control is shown to be best in respect of response profile and control effort required among them.

  • Alpha 1-Proteinase inhibitor[PI] was known as a major protective enzyme against to excessive hydrolytic and proteolytic reaction. So, it was suggested that Alpha 1-PI may implicated in growth of bronchogenic cancer. This study was undertaken to investigate the role of Alpha 1-PI in local invasion of bronchogenic cancer. Three groups of patients were studied; Preliminary research group of 15 bronchogenic cancer patients, Main research group of 13 bronchogenic cancer patients and Normal control group of 10 nephrectomy donor. Serum Alpha 1-PI level was observed in each group of patients during pre-and postoperative days. Pre-operative serum Alpha 1-PI level in preliminary research group [329.2$\pm$14.21mg/dl]and main research group[406.2$\pm$39.30mg/dl] were higher than in normal control group[236.2$\pm$19.55mg/dl] significantly[p<0.005]. Serial Alpha 1-PI level in each group during pre-and postoperative days shows peaked at 3rd. postoperative day in preliminary and main research group, thereafter decreased gradually. Immunohistochemical study for Alpha 1-antitrypsin[A1AT] was carried out by ABC[avidin-biotin peroxidase complex] method using Alpha-1 antitrypsin DAKOR to tumor tissues of 13 lung cancer patients in main research group. 6 cases[46.2%, squamous cell ca.;5, adenocarcinoma;1] of above 13 cases show positive immunoreactivity for A1AT. In conclusion, alpha 1-PI and elastase are disclosed that have defined actions for lung cancer growing or spreading.

  • Since the nonlinear factors such as friction in a mechanical servo system can't be easily measured nor estimated accurately. Therefore, it is difficult to compensate friction correctly. Friction makes a significant error in a 2-axis stabilized gimbal system and finally fails to reach the ultimate control performance goals. To solve these problems, lots of studies on the control methods applying observer have been performed. However, these methods can be used in specific conditions and are limited to apply them to the accurate 2-axis stabilized gimbal system in military sector. This paper deals with the PI-LEAD algorithm which is modified with a general and robust PID algorithm, proves the effect of the algorithm through modeling and simulation, and verifies the performance by applying the algorithm to the real 2-axis stabilized system. It is verified through the performance test that the PI-LEAD algorithm minimizes the error caused by friction and meets requirements of the accurate servo system.

  • The use of smart devices worldwide has been increasing day by day and its applications based on IoT have been also extended. But the power control system requires complicated control and processing information from the various sensors in practice. One of the best ways to save the power consumption is to manage electrical equipment individually on the Internet. In this paper, remote power control system for managing the power through the relay switch module via Python server was implemented by using Raspberry Pi. The proposed power control system can be used anywhere over the Internet.

The Effect of Vitamin B-2 and (or) Vitamin B-6 Deficiency on Hematologic Profile in Rats (Vitamin B-2와 (또는 ) Vitamin B-6 결핍이 흰쥐의 Hematologic Profile에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine if vitamin B-2 and vitamin B-6 deficiency affects hematologic profile in vivo. Rats were fed a vitamin B-2 deficient (-B2) diet or a vitamin B-6 deficient (- B6) diet or a combined vitamin B-2 and vitamin B-6 deficient (-B2-B6) diet or a control diet for 6 weeks. Hematocrit (Ht), hemoglobin (Hb), plasma iron (PI), transferrin saturation (TS) and liver iron concentration (LI) were compared. In -B2 rats vs. control rats, PI, TS and LI were significantly lower but Ht and Hb were not. In - B6 rats vs. control, Ht and Hb were significanty lower but LI was higher. The -B2-B6 rats had intermediate effects in Hb, PI, TS and LI and a decrease in Ht. The repletion with a contro diet for 2 weeks resulted in significant improvements in hematologic indices and LI in both - B2 rats and - B6 rats. This study suggests that the intakes of vitamin B-2 and vitamin B-6 are important for preventive and therap\ulcornereutic approaches to improve the hematologic status in nutritionally anemic groups.

  • This paper presents a new velocity estimation strategy for a non-salient permanent magnet synchronous motor drive without high frequency signal injection or special PWM pattern. This approach is based on the d-axis current regulator output voltage of the drive system, which contains the rotor position error information. The rotor velocity can be estimated through a rotor position tracking PI controller that controls the position error at zero. For zero and low speed operation, the PI gain of the rotor position tracking controller has a variable structure according to the estimated rotor velocity. Then, at zero speed, the rotor position and velocity have sluggish dynamics because the varying gains are very low in this region. In order to boost the bandwidth of the PI controller during zero speed, the loop recovery technique is applied to the control system. The PI tuning formulas are also derived by analyzing this control system by frequency domain specifications such as phase margin and bandwidth assignment.

Analysis of Current Control Stability using PI Control in Synchronous Reference Frame for Grid-Connected Inverter with LCL Filter (LCL 필터를 사용하는 계통연계형 인버터의 동기좌표계 PI 전류제어 안정도 해석)

  • In this paper, current control using PI controller in the synchronous reference frame is analyzed through the relationship among bandwidth, resonance frequency, and sampling frequency in the grid-connected inverter with LCL filter. Stability is investigated by using bode plot in frequency domain and root locus in discrete domain. The feedback variable is the grid current, which is regulated by the PI controller in the synchronous reference frame. System delay is modeled as 1.5Ts, which contains computational and PWM modulator delay. Two resonance frequencies are given at 815 Hz and 3.16 kHz from LCL filter parameters. Sufficient phase and gain margins can be obtained to guarantee stable current control, in case that resonance frequency is above one-sixth of the sampling frequency. Unstable current control is performed when resonance frequency is below one-sixth of the sampling frequency. Analysis results of stability from frequency response and discrete response is the same regardless of resonance frequency. Finally, stability of current control based on theoretical analysis is clearly verified through simulation and experiment in grid-connected inverters with LCL filter.
