This study was carried out to analyze the differences in p-hydroxylbenzyl alcohol (HBA) content, antitumor and anti-obesity activities and tyrosinase inhibitory activity between non-fermented G. elata (NFGP) and fermented G. elata powder. The HBA content, which is an index-component of G. elata decreased from 1.58 mg/g before fermentation to 1.07, 0.32, and 0.13 mg/g after the $1^{st}$ fermentation ($1^{st}$ FGP), $2^{nd}$ fermentation ($2^{nd}$ FGP) and $3^{rd}$ fermentation ($3^{rd}$ FGP), respectively. The anti-proliferation effects on the cell lines HT29 and AGS were significantly higher for the fermented G. elata than the NFGP. The antitumor activity was also increased in a fermentation number-dependent manner. During adipocyte differentiation, the ethanol extract of the $3^{rd}$ FGP inhibited lipid accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells significantly better than NFGP and the $1^{st}$ FGP, treated at the concentration of $10{\mu}g/mL$. The tyrosinase inhibitory activity of the $2^{nd}$ FGP at $600{\mu}g/mL$ over was higher than that of kojic acid. At the concentration of $1,000{\mu}g/mL$, the tyrosinase inhibitory activity was increased in a fermentation number-dependent manner. From these results, the fermented G. elata, especially the $3^{rd}$ FGP, is expected to be good candidate for the development of functional food and agents with antitumor, anti-obesity, and tyrosinase inhibitory potential.

The aims of this study were to investigate and confirm the occurrence and distribution patterns of blood lipid lower agents (BLLAs) in Nakdong river basin (mainstream and its tributaries). 4 (atorvastatin, lovastatin, mevastatin and simvastatin) out of 5 statins and 2 (clofibric acid and zemfibrozil) out of 3 fibrates were detected in 29 sampling sites and simvastatin (>50%) was predominant compound followed by atorvastatin, lovastatin and clofibric acid. The total concentration levels of BLLAs on April, August and November 2009 in surface water samples ranged from ND~25.7 ng/L, ND~18.8 and ND to 38.8 ng/L, respectively. The highest concentration level of BLLAs in the mainstream and tributaries in Nakdong river were Goryeong and Jincheon-cheon, respectively. The sewage treatment plants (STPs) along the river affect the BLLAs levels in river and the BLLAs levels decreased with downstream because of dilution effects.

1-eicosylsulfate($C_{20}H_{41}SO_4^-$) was coated onto 5 ${\mu}m$ C18 reversed phase column. Adsorption equilibrium was reached when 1.2l of $1.46{\times}10^{-4}M$ in 25% acetonitrile solution passed through the column. This coated column proved to be stable up to 10l of 0.05 M ${\alpha}$-HiBA eluent used. The column efficiencies of Eu, Nd, Ce and La measured were about 0.04 mm of HETP using 0.15M ${\alpha}$-HiBA eluent at a flow rate of 1.0ml/min. This column was used to separate some lanthanides and transition metal ions, andmshowed an excellent resolution, respectively.

In this paper, a DVB-T2(Digital Video Broadcasting-the 2nd Generation Terrestrial) receiver is designed under a USB-type windows environment, and the baseband frames for MPEG2-TS stream(File or Ethernet Modes) are analyzed for verifying the receiver. In addition, the performance of the BICM(Bit Interleaved Coding & Modulation) module in the receiver is analyzed in terms of PLP(Physical Layer Pipe) and L1(Layer 1) signals.

More than 500 different compounds have been identified in the cooking process of frying oil as a result of chemical reactions such as oxidation, polymerization, hydrolysis and pyrolysis, 3-MCPDe(3-Monochloropropane -1,2-diol ester) and GE(glycidyl ester) are also included in these compounds. When MCPDe and GE derivatives are absorbed into the body, they are converted into free forms by lipase enzymes, which turn into 3-MCPD and glycidol(2,3-epoxy-1-propanol), respectively. These exhibit genotoxic and carcinogenic effects. As the toxicity of 3-MCPDe and GE is known worldwide, the health risk is being researched. However, regulations have not been established in countries other than the European Union(EU). Several studies for the analysis of 3-MCPDe and GE are being conducted, and direct methods and indirect methods are applied. As a result of analyzing 3-MCPDe and GE contained in commercially available foods by various analysis methods, the content of 3-MCPDe in baby food/infant formula was ND~600 ㎍/mL and GE was ND~750 ㎍/mL. and purified vegetable oils and fats showed <250-8,430 ㎍/mL and 1,880-9,530 ㎍/mL. Thus, 3-MCPDe and GE were detected in various food types, several studies for the reduction of 3-MCPDe and GE are being conducted around the world.

In order to fabricate the aluminum alloys with good drawability, the textures evolution of the AA5182 sheets after rolling and annealing was studied. The measurement of the deformation textures was carried out for the sheets which were cold rolled with high reduction ratio by using the symmetric roll. In addition, the change of the recrystallization texture was investigated after heat-treatments of the rolled sheets with various heat treatment conditions. Rolling without lubrication and subsequent annealing led to the formation of favorable $rot-C_{ND}\;\{001\}<110>\;and\;{\gamma}-fiber ND//<111>$ textures in AA5182 sheets. From the results, the ${\gamma}$-fiber ND//<111> component well evolved during rolling at highest reduction ratio (over $90\%$, l/d parameter of 6.77). Among shear deformation textures, the ${\gamma}$-fiber ND//<111> was not rotated in holding time of $180\~7,200$ seconds at $350^{\circ}C$. The Monte-Carlo technique was used and could be representatively simulated these textures evolution during recrystallization.

In this paper, we deal with the effect on magnetic properties when Nd is added to Sr ferrite bonded magnet. First, we choose SrO$_{n}$.Fe$_2$O$_3$(n=5.9), which is nonstoichiomatric composition, as specimen ferrite. Then, we add 5wt% polyvinyl alcohol and calcinate at 12$25^{\circ}C$ under $N_2$ environment for carbon coating on chemical compound specimen. After that we obtain 1.2${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ single domain powder through grinding process for 18 hours. The single domain Sr ferrite Powder is well mixed with silage coupling and calcium stearate of 1wt% Then, it is kneaded by using polyamide12 as a binder and is pelleted. After adding Nd-Fe-B powder to the pelleted specimen, we injection-mould it under magnetic field by using anisotropic mould. Especially, when we add l3wt% Nd-Fe-B powder to the polyamide12, we obtain excellent magnetic propertiecs which are $_{B}$H$_{C}$=2.65KOe, Br=3.16KG and (BH)$_{max}$=2.61MGOeOeOeOeOe

The electron transport coefficients in Air is analysed in range of E/Nvalues from 100~1000(Td) by a MCS and BE method. This paper have calculated W, ND$\sub$L/, ND$\sub$T/, Mean energy mixtures by N$_2$+O$_2$.
