Type 316N 스테인리스강의 OPR1000 및 APR1400 가압기 밀림관 적용성에 대한 연구 (A Study on Applicability of Stainless Steel Type 316N to the PZR Surge-line of OPR1000 and APR1400)

  • The applicability of stainless steel type 316N to the PZR surge-lines of OPR1000 and APR1400 is investigated. So far, strainless steel type 347 has been used for the OPR1000 surge-lines. The degree of improvement in the leak-before-break(LBB) and component design margin is evaluated when stainless steel type 347 is substituted by type 316N. For the study, the tensile and J-R tests on type 316N and type 347 stainless steels were performed at 316 and the microstructure of both types was examined. Stainless steel type 316N shows the higher values on the stress-strain curves, J-R curves and stress intensity, Sm, compared to those of type 347. Therefore, stainless steel type 316N ensures the higher LBB and component design margins. As a result, this study shows that stainless steel type 316N could substitute type 347 for the surge-lines of OPR1000 and APR1400.

1Cr-0.5Mo강 용접부 균열의 고온파괴거동 연구 (A Study on Elevated Temperature Fracture Behavior of Cracks in 1Cr-0.5Mo Steel Weld)

  • Fracture behavior of ex-serviced 1Cr-0.5Mo steel was measured at room($24^{\circ}C$) and elevated($538^{\circ}C$) temperature and compared with that measured with virgin 1Cr-0.5Mo steel. Compact C(T) specimens were machined from the base and welded test materials. In case of the C(T) specimens of the weld, fatigue precrack was introduced along the fusion line so that following crack growth should occurs along the region of heat affected zone. It was observed that the J-R curve of the serviced material was significantly lower than that of the virgin material at room temperature. Brittle fracture was observed in the serviced material. On the other hand, at elevated temperature no noticeable difference was found between the J-R curves of the virgin and the serviced material. The measured J-R curves were also compared with those of the 1.25Cr-0.5Mo steel obtained from the other literatures. Optical microscopy and SEM examination of the serviced material reveal the carbide in/along the grain boundary which shows material degradation due to long-term usage. An example of application of the measured J-R curves is shown.

  • 실험실내(實驗室內)에서의 가장 간편(簡便)하고 우리나라 조건(條件)에 맞는 석회소요량(石灰所要量) 결정법(決定法)을 선정(選定)하기 위(爲)하여 26종토양(種土壤) 표토시료(表土試料)의 화학적(化學的) 성질(性質)을 조사(調査)하는 동시(同時)에 3종(種)의 완충곡선법(緩衝曲線法)에 의(依)한 석회소요량(石灰所要量)을 조사(調査)하여 표준(標準)이 될 만한 완형선곡법(緩衡線曲法)을 정(定)하고 이 방법(方法)에 의(依)한 석회소요량(石灰所要量)을 조사(調査)하여 표준(標準)이 될 만한 완충곡선법(緩衝曲線法)을 정(定)하고 이 방법(方法)에 의(依)한 석회소요량(石灰所要量)을 Shoemaker 법(法), Woodruff 법(法) 및 O.R.D. 법(法)과 비교논평(比較論評)한 결과(結果)는 대략(大略) 다음과 같다. 1. 토양(土壤)의 염기포화도(鹽基飽和度)(X)와 완충곡선법(緩衝曲線法)I에 의(依)한 $Ca(OH)_2$ 소요량간(所要量間)에는 y=9.69-0.106X의 회귀관계(回歸關係) 및 1%수준(水準)에서 유의(有意)한 부(負)의 상관계수(相關係數)(r=-0.84)를 얻었다. 2. 토양(土壤)의 치환성(置換性) 수소(水素)이온(X)과 완충곡선법(緩衝曲線法)에 의(依)한 $Ca(OH)_2$ 소요량(所要量)(y)간(間)에는 y=2.05-0.86X ($r=0.86^{**}$)의 관계(關係)가 있으며 치환성수소(置換性水素) 및 치환성(置換性) Aluminum 합계량(合計量)(X)과 $Ca(OH)_2$ 소요량(所要量)(y)간(間)에는 y=1.19+0.71X($r=0.944^{**}$)의 관계(關係)를 얻었으며 이로써 토양중(土壤中)의 치환성수소함량(置換性水素含量)만의 경우보다 치환성수소(置換性水素)와 Aluminum을 합(合)한 양(量)과 $Ca(OH)_2$ 소요량간(所要量間)의 관계(關係)가 더 밀접(密接)함을 보였다. 3. 완충곡선(緩衝曲線)을 작성(作成)할 때 N-KCl, $CaCl_2$ 등(等) 중성염(中性鹽)을 미리 가(加)하고 $Ca(OH)_2$를 가(加)하였을 때와 통상(通常)의 방법(方法)으로 작성(作成) 하였을 때의 중화(中和)에 소요(所要)된 석회소요량(石灰所要量)과 공시토양중(供試土壤中)의 치환성수소(置換性水素)와 Aluminum 합계량(合計量)과의 관계(關係)를 조사(調査)한 결과(結果) 통상(通常)의 방법(方法)으로 완충곡선(緩衝曲線)을 작성(作成)하여 석회소요량(石灰所要量)을 결정(決定)하는 것이 가장 합리적(合理的)인 방법(方法)이라는 결과(結果)를 얻었다. 4. 가장 합리적(合理的)인 완충곡선법(緩衝曲線法) I에 의(依)한 석회소요량(石灰所要量)(X)과 Woodruff 법(法), Shoemaker 법(法) 및 O.R.D.법(法)에 의(依)한 석회소요량간(石灰所要量間)에는 각각(各各) y=1.95+0.84X ($r=0.91^{**}$), y=166+0.76X($r=0.92^{**}$) 및 y=2.79+0.82X($r=0.89^{**}$)의 관계(關係)가 있으며 본(本) 실험(實驗)의 공시토양조건하(供試土壤條件下)에서는 Shoemaker법(法)이 실험실내석회소요량(實驗室內石灰所要量) 측정방법(測定方法)으로 합리적(合理的)이고 현지포장(現地圃場)에서 간역(簡易) 검정법(檢定法)으로 사용중(使用中)인 O.R.D.법(法)도 실험실내방법(實驗室內方法)과 별(別)로 손색(損色)이 없는 방법(方法)이라고 생각(生覺)되기 때문에 이 두 방법(方法)을 우리나라에서는 통일(統一)해서 사용(使用)할 것을 제안(提案)한다.

원자력압력용기강 (SA508-3)의 평활 및 측면홈 CT시험편을 이용한 J$_{IC}$ 평가 (JIC Evaluation of the Smooth and the Side-Grooved CT Specimens in the Reactor Pressure Vessel Steel(SA508-3))

  • 원자력 압력용기강의 탄소성 파괴인성값 $J_IC$를 CT형 시험편을 이용하여 검토하였으며, 평활 시험편 및 측면홈 시험편의 두께는 각각 $B_O$=25.4mm, $B_N$=20.4mm 이다. 측면홈의 깊이는 19.7% 이며, 홈의 각도는 90 .deg.로 가공하였다. 탄소성 파괴인성시험은 ASTM E813-81과 JSME S001-81의 추천방법에 따라 실시하였다. 두 추천방법으로 실험한 결과 ASTM 방법에 의한 $J_IC$값이 과대평가됨으로써 부대조건에 만족되지 못하였지만 JSME방법은 만족되었다. 측면홈 시험편은 R고선법에 의한 ductile tearing의 결정이 평활 시험편보다 용이하였으며, 이에 따른 $J_IC$값의 정확성을 배가 할 수 있었다. 또한 임계 스트레치존 폭($SZW_C$)은 측면홈에 의한 높은 3축응력이 발생되어 평활시험편보다 적게 나타났으며, 이러한 복합적인 원인에 기인하여 스트레치존법에 의한 $J_IC$평가는 R곡선법에 의한 평가보다 약간 과대평가됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • In the present paper, we give some characterization of the L2 maximal estimate for the operator Pta,γf(Γ(x, t)) along curve with complex time, which is defined by $$P^t_{a,{\gamma}}f({\Gamma}(x,t))={\displaystyle\smashmargin{2}{\int\nolimits_{\mathbb{R}}}}\;e^{i{\Gamma}(x,t){\xi}}e^{it{\mid}{\xi}{\mid}^a}e^{-t^{\gamma}{\mid}{\xi}{\mid}^a}{\hat{f}}({\xi})d{\xi}$$, where t, γ > 0 and a ≥ 2, curve Γ is a function such that Γ : ℝ×[0, 1] → ℝ, and satisfies Hölder's condition of order σ and bilipschitz conditions. The authors extend the results of the Schrödinger type with complex time of Bailey [1] and Cho, Lee and Vargas [3] to Schrödinger operators along the curves.

해양구조물의 균열불안정성 해석에 대한 파괴역학의 응용 (Application of Fracture Mechanics Method to Ottshore Structural Crack Instability Analysis)

  • 균열불안정 해석법인 COD설계곡선법과 R6파괴 평가도법에 있어서 그 응용 한계의 확립과 타당성 수준의 정량화를 위해 포괄적인 비교 연구가 수행되었다. 참고로서 J-적분 균열불안정성 해석법이 이용되었다. 본 연구의 결과로서, 균열확장의 유무에 대한 R6 파괴 평가도법이 매우 우수한 방법임을 보여준다. COD 설계곡선법에 대한 영국 표준국 순서에 따른 결과로서는, 큰 스캐터 밴드를 가진 상당량의 부당성 해를 보여준다. 이러한 COD설계곡선법의 해를 개선하기 위한 새로운 접근법이 개발되었고, 그 타당성이 입증되었다.

THE NEW ECLIPSING POST COMMON-ENVELOPE BINARY SDSS J074548.63+263123.4

  • The common-envelope process is a complicated phase in binary evolution. A lot of effort has been dedicated to study the common-envelope stage, but many questions related to this process are yet to be answered. If one member of the binary survives the common-envelope phase, the binary will emerge as a white dwarf accompanied by a low-mass main sequence star in close orbit, often referred as a post common-envelope binary (PCEB). SDSS J0745+2631 is among the list of newly found PCEBs from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). This star is proposed to be a strong eclipsing system candidate due to the ellipsoidal modulation in its light curve. In this work, we aim to confirm the eclipsing nature of SDSS J0745+2631 and to determine the stellar and orbital parameters using the software Binary Maker 3.0 (BM3.0). We detected the primary eclipse in the light curve of SDSS J0745+2631 in our follow-up observation from January 2014 using the ULTRASPEC instrument at the Thai National Observatory. The data obtained on 7th and 8th January 2014 in g filter show an evident drop in brightness during the eclipse of the white dwarf, but this eclipse is less prominent in the data taken on the next night using a clear filter. According to our preliminary model, we find that SDSS J0745+2631 hosts a rather hot white dwarf with an effective temperature of 11500K. The companion star is a red dwarf star with a temperature of 3800K and radius of 0.3100 $R_{\odot}$. The red dwarf star almost fills its Roche lobe, causing a large ellipsoidal modulation. The mass ratio of the binary given by the Binary Maker 3.0 (BM3.0) model is M2/M1 = 0.33.

  • Leak Before Break(LBB) design concept is applied to piping systems of newly-built Yonggwang 3, 4 nuclear generating stations as a design alternative to the provision of pipe whip restraints, in recognition of the questionable benefits of providing such restraints. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the material properties (tensile and fracture toughness) of SA312 TP316 stainless steel and their associated welds manufactured for shutdown cooling system of Yonggwang 3, 4 nuclear generating stations. Effect of various parameters such as specimen orientation, test temperature, welding on material properties were examined.

실배관 시험편의 균열 길이 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of the Crack Length for the Real Scale Pipe Specimen)

  • Fracture resistance curves for concerned materials are required in order to perform elastic-plastic fracture mechanical analyses. Fracture resistance curve is built with J-integral values and crack extension values. The objective of this paper is to apply the load ratio method to the measurement of the crack length for the real scale pipe specimen. For these, the fracture test using the real scale pipe specimen and finite element analyses were performed. A 4-point bending jig was manufactured for the pipe test and the direct current potential drop method and the load ratio method was used to measure the crack extension and the length for the real scale pipe test. Finite element analyses about the compliance of the pipe specimen were executed for applying the load ratio method according to the crack length.

순수 모드 II하중 하에서의 SPS 시험편의 연성파괴 특성에 관한 연구 (Ductile Fracture Behaviour of SPS Specimen Under Pure Mode II Loading)

  • The aim of this study is to investigate the ductile fracture behaviour under pure Mode II loading using A533B pressure vessel steel. Single punch shear(SPS) test was performed to obtain the J-R curve under pure Mode II loading which was compared with that of the Model I loading. Simulation using Rousellier Ductile Damage Theory(RDDT) was carried out with 4-node quadrilateral element(L(sub)c=0.25mm). For the crack advance, the failed element removal technique was adopted with a $\beta$ criterion. Through the $\beta$ value tuning-up procedures, $\beta$(sub)crit(sup)II was determined as 1.5 in contrast with $\beta$(sub)crit(sup)I=5.5. In conclusion, it was found that the J-R curve under Mode II loading was located at lower part than that under Mode I loading obtained from the previous study and that the $\beta$ values strongly depended on the loading type. In addition, the predicted result using RDDT showed a good agreement with the SPS experimental one under pure Mode II loading.
