A non-thermal plasma process combined with $Cr_2O_3/TiO_2$ catalyst was applied to the decomposition of trichloroethylene (TCE). A dielectric barrier discharge reactor operated with AC high voltage was used as the non-thermal plasma reactor. The effects of reaction temperature and input power on the decomposition of TCE and the formation of byproducts including HCl, $Cl_2$, CO, NO, $NO_2$ and $O_3$ were examined. At an identical input power, the increase in the reaction temperature from 373 K to 473 K decreased the decomposition of TCE in the plasma reactor. The presence of the catalyst downstream the plasma reactor not only enhanced the decomposition of TCE but also affected the distribution of byproducts, significantly. However, synergistic effect as a result of the combination of non-thermal plasma with catalyst was not observed, i.e., the TCE decomposition efficiency in this plasma-catalyst combination system was almost similar to the sum of those obtained with each process.

This study was carried out numerically to investigate the flow characteristics in the Venturi tube with $90^{\circ}$ T-branch tube and the inflow of condensed water into the Venturi tube from the branch tube. In this study, the diameter of the branch tube(1, 2, 3mm) and the neck diameter of the Venturi tube(0.3, 0.9, 1.5mm) were varied. The flow rate of the water at the Venturi tube inlet is 80cc/min and the water temperature is 288K. The condensed water temperature at the branch tube inlet is 355K. It was found that the velocity and pressure of the fluid near the branch point in the Venturi tube were more dependent on the diameter of the Venturi tube than the diameter of the branch tube. The temperature of the mixed water at the exit of the Venturi tube was the highest when the Venturi tube's neck diameter is 0.9mm and the branch tube diameter is 2mm. This means that the condensed water is flowing well through the branch tube.

We provide some examples around AP and WAP spaces which are connected with higher convergence properties-radiality, semiradiality and pseudoradiality. We also prove a theorem (Theorem 3.2) that (a) any pseudo-open continuous image of an AP-space is an AP-space and (b) any pseudo-open continuous image of an WAP-space is an WAP-space. This answers the question posed by V. V. Tkachuk and I. V. Yaschenko [10].

A robust friction compensation scheme is proposed in this paper. The recurrent fuzzy neural network and friction parameter observer are developed with sliding mode based controller in order to obtain precise position tracking performance. For a servo system with incomplete identified friction parameters, a proposed control scheme provides a satisfactory result via some experiment.

An algorithm for extracting the BJT DC model parameter values for SPICE model is proposed. The nonlinear optimization method for analyzing the device I-V data using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is proposed and the method for calculating initial conditions of model parameters to improve the convergence characteristics is proposed. The base current and collector current obtained from the proposed method shows the root mean square error of 6.04% compared with the measured data of the PNP BJT named 2SA1980.

The prior studies for consumer-brand relationships vested brands with personalities after had personified them. In these studies, a brand become the object of consumer's attitude, and former researchers investigated the types and styles of consumer-brand relationships based on this theory. However, I though that these studies did not follow the original concept of 'relationship' for they approached consumer as the subject and a brand as the object.

Usually there are two ways in the method of accounting on tax purpose. One is the method of accrual basis accounting, the other is the method of cash basis accounting. Accrual basis accounting is used broadly not only in financial purpose, but also tax purpose. But, that method is not fit at some special case. For example, lawyer, bank, consulting, small business would like to use the method of cash basis accounting because it is more convenient in book-keeping than the method of accrual basis. I insist on regulating this cash basis accounting.
