차량 전복 방지를 위한 강인 제어기 설계 (Design of a Robust Controller for Vehicle Rollover Prevention)

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 전복 방지를 위해 강인 제어기를 설계하고 적용하는 방법에 대해 제시한다. 운행 중인 차량은 속도나 무게중심과 같은 파라미터 변화가 쉽게 발생하는데, 차량 전복 방지 제어기가 파라미터 변화에 대해 강인하게 설계된다면 차량 전복 방지 성능을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 이산시간영역에서 LMI 를 이용하여 $H_2$$H_{\infty}$ 강인제어기를 설계하고, 실험에 대한 신뢰도가 높은 차량 시뮬레이션 패키지인 CarSim 에서 차량 전복 방지를 위한 제어기의 성능을 검증한다.

Application to Speed Control of Brushless DC Motor Using Mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ PID Controller with Genetic Algorithm

  • This paper proposes a mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ optimal PID controller with a genetic algorithm based on the dynamic model of a brushless direct current (BLDC) motor and applies it to speed control. In the dynamic model of the BLDC motor with perturbation, the proposed controller guarantees arobust and optimal tracking performance to the desired speed of the BLDC motor. A genetic algorithm was used to obtain parameters for the PID controller that satisfy the mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ constraint. To implement the proposed controller, a control system based on PIC18F4431 was developed. Numerical and experimental results are shown to prove that the performance of the proposed controller was better than that of the optimal PID controller.

  • This paper presents a fuzzy H$\infty$ filtering problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying delayed states and unknown inital state on the basis of Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model. The nonlinear systems are represented by T-S fuzzy models, and the fuzzy control systems utilize the concept of the so-called parallel distributed compensation. Using a single quadraic Lyapunov function, the stability and L2 gain performance from the noise signals to the estimation error are discussed. Sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy H$\infty$ filters are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The filtering gains can also be directly obtained from the solutions of LMIs.

  • In this paper, we present an output feedback $H^\infty$controller design method and derive the sufficient condition of the bounded real lemma for linear systems with multiple delays in states. For state delayed systems, sufficient conditions for the existence $\kappa$-th order $H^\infty$controllers are given in terms of three linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). Furthermore, we show how to construct such controllers from the positive definite solutions of their LMIs and given an example to illustrate the validitiy of the proosed design procedure.

  • In this paper, we present a dynamic output-feedback receding horizon $H_{\infty}$controller for linear discrete-time systems with disturbance. The controller is obtained numerically from the finite horizon output-feedback $H_{\infty}$optimization problem, which is, in fact, hardly solved analytically. Under a matrix inequality condition on the terminal weighting matrix, the monotonic decreasing property of the cost is shown. This property guarantees both the closed-loop stability and the $H_{\infty}$norm bound. Then, we extend the proposed design method to a reference tracking problem and a problem for time-varying systems. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the performance of the proposed controller.

  • In this paper, a new method of position synchronizing control is proposed for multi-axes driving system. The proposed synchronizing control system is constituted with speed and synchronizing controller. The structure of synchronizing control system is varied by sign of synchronizing error. When a disturbance input becomes added to one axis, this axis becomes slave axis. The other axis is master axis. Therefore, master axis is not influenced by the disturbance. The speed controller of the first axis is designed by $H_{\infty}$ control theory. The speed controller of the second axis is designed by inverse dynamics of speed control system of the first axis. The speed control system designed with $H_{\infty}$ controller guarantees low sensitivity for the disturbance as well as robustness against model uncertainties. Especially, the synchronizing controller is designed to keep position error to minimize by controlling speed of slave axis. The effectiveness of the proposed method is successfully confirmed through several experiments.

  • In the industrial motor drive system which is composed of a motor and load connected with a flexible shaft, a torsional vibration is often generated because of the elastic elements in torque transmission. To solve this problem, the two degrees of freedom $H_{\infty}$ controller was designed. But it is difficult to realize that controller. In this paper, $H_{\infty}$ control of 2-mass system using partial state feedback and resonance ratio control is proposed. Proposed controller has simple structure but satisfies the attenuation of disturbances and vibrations.

  • In the industrial motor drive system, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated when a motor and a load are connected with a flexible shaft. This paper treats the vibration suppression control of such a system. In this paper, two-degree-of-freedom(TDOF) control of the two-mass resonant system using the $H_{\infty}$ filter is proposed. TDOF control method satisfies the command following property and the internal stability at the same. The $H_{\infty}$ filter is robust in noise and disturbance. Simulation results show the validity of the proposed control method.

  • In this paper, the genetic algorithm is used to design a mixed H₂/ H/sub ∞/ controller Two kinds of controller forms, Youla's form and the general form, are considered to design a mixed H₂/ H/sub ∞/ controller. Efficient searching methods are sought to minimize the given H₂cost function under the H∞ constraint. It is verified by an example that the developed algorithm can provide stable results in the region where unstable results are shown by the conventional gradient method.

  • In the industrial motor drive systems, a shaft torsional vibration is often generated when a motor and a load are connected with a flexible shaft. This paper treats the vibration suppression control of this system. The resonance ratio control is proposed for suppressing the torsional vibration. In this paper, first, the optimal resonance ratio is sellected and the controller to the resonance ratio controlled outward plant is designed based on $H_{\infty}$ control theory. Secondly, the two-degree-of-freedom controller, which includes the above $H_{\infty}$ controller, is designed in order to improve the tracking characteristics for the commanded speed. The control performances are examined by the computer simulations and it is clarified that the proposed speed control system is useful for two-mass system.
