Two new nickel vanadium borophosphate cluster compounds, $(NH_4)_{10}[Ni(H_2O)_5]_4[V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6{\cdot}nH_2O$ (1) and $(NH_4)_{3.5}(C_3H_{12}N_2)_{3.5}[Ni(H_2O)_6]_{1.25}{[Ni(H_2O)_5]_2[V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6{\cdot}nH_2O$ (2) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Inter-diffusion methods were employed to prepare the compounds. The cluster anion $[(NH_4)\;{\supset}\;V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6$ is used as a building unit in the synthesis of new compounds containing $Ni(H_2O){^{2+}_5}$ in the presence of pyrazine and 1,3-diaminopropane. Compounds contain isolated cluster anions with general composition ${[Ni(H_2O)_5]_n[(NH_4)\;{\supset}\;V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6}^{-(17-2n)}$ (n = 2, 4). Crystal data: $(NH_4)_{10}[Ni(H_2O)_5]_4[V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6{\cdot}nH_2O$, monoclinic, space group C2/m (no. 12), a = 27.538(2) ${\AA}$, b = 20.366(2) ${\AA}$, c = 11.9614(9) ${\AA}$, ${\beta}$ = 112.131(1)$^{\circ}$, Z = 8; $(NH_4)_{3.5}(C_3H_{12}N_2)_b[Ni(H_2O)_6]_{3.5}{[Ni(H_2O)_5]_2[V_2P_2BO_{12}]_6{\cdot}nH_2O$, triclinic, space group P-1 (no. 2), a = 17.7668(9) ${\AA}$, b = 17.881(1) ${\AA}$, c = 20.668(1) ${\AA}$, ${\alpha}$ = 86.729(1)$^{\circ}$, ${\beta}$ \ 65.77(1)$^{\circ}$, ${\gamma}$ = 80.388(1)$^{\circ}$, Z = 2.

The molecular structures of 2-SC₄H₃CH=NN(H)C/sub 6/H/sub 5/(C/sub 11/H/sub 10/N₂S) and (GaMe₂)₂(2-SC₄H₃CH=NNC/sub 6/H/sub 5/)₂(C/sub 26/H/sub 30/Ga₂N₄S₂) have been determined by X-ray diffraction. Objective: This experiment was conducted to evaluate the optimal space allowance on growth performance, blood profile and pork quality of growing-finishing pigs. Methods: A total of ninety crossbred pigs [$(Yorkshire{\times}Landrace){\times}Duroc$, $30.25{\pm}1.13kg$] were allocated into three treatments (0.96: four pigs/pen, $0.96m^2/pig$; 0.80: five pigs/pen, $0.80m^2/pig$; 0.69: six pigs/pen, $0.69m^2/pig$) in a randomized complete block design. Pigs were housed in balanced sex and had free access to feed in all phases for 14 weeks (growing phase I, growing phase II, finishing phase I, and finishing phase II). Results: There was no statistical difference in growing phase, but a linear decrease was observed on average daily gain (ADG, p<0.01), average daily feed intake (ADFI, p<0.01), and body weight (BW, p<0.01) with decreasing space allowance in late finishing phase. On the other hand, a quadratic effect was observed on gain to feed ratio in early finishing phase (p<0.03). Consequently, overall ADG, ADFI, and final BW linearly declined in response to decreased space allowance (p<0.01). The pH of pork had no significant difference in 1 hour after slaughter, whereas there was a linear decrease in 24 h after slaughter with decreasing space allowance. Floor area allowance did not affect pork colors, but shear force linearly increased as floor space decreased (p<0.01). There was a linear increase in serum cortisol concentration on 14 week (p<0.05) with decreased space allocation. Serum IgG was linearly ameliorated as space allowance increased on 10 week (p<0.05) and 14 week (p<0.01). Conclusion: Data from current study indicated that stress derived from reduced space allowance deteriorates the immune system as well as growth performance of pigs, resulting in poor pork quality. Recommended adequate space allowance in a grow-to-finish production system is more than $0.80m^2/pig$ for maximizing growth performance and production efficiency.

We consider a sequential confidence interval I for the mean $\mu = \mu(\theta)$ of $P_{\theta}$ satisfying $P_{\theta}(\mu \in I) \geq 1-\alpha$ and $P_{\theta}(\mu-\delta(\mu) \in I) \leq \beta$ for all $\theta \in H$ for any given an imprecision real valued function $\delta(\mu) > 0$ and error probabilities $0 < \alpha, \beta < 1$. A one-sided sequential confidence interval is constructed under some restriction of the family {P_{\theta} : \theta \in H}$ and the imprecision function $\delta$. This is extended to the two-sided cases.

Let ${\mathcal{L}}_2=(-{\Delta})^2+V^2$ be the $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ type operator, where nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse $H{\ddot{o}}lder$ class $RH_s$, s > n/2. In this paper, we consider the operator $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}=V^{2{\alpha}}{\mathcal{L}}^{-{\beta}}_2$ and its conjugate $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$, where $0<{\alpha}{\leq}{\beta}{\leq}1$. We establish the $(L^p,\;L^q)$-boundedness of operator $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ and $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$, respectively, we also show that $T_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ is bounded from Hardy type space $H^1_{L_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ into $L^{p_2}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ and $T^*_{{\alpha},{\beta}}$ is bounded from $L^{p_1}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ into BMO type space $BMO_{{\mathcal{L}}1}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, where $p_1={\frac{n}{4({\beta}-{\alpha})}}$, $p_2={\frac{n}{n-4({\beta}-{\alpha})}}$.

한글인식 후처리에서 문맥정보의 저장구조는 인식율 및 인식속도를 결정짓는 중요한 요소이다. 단어사전의 형태로 문맥정보를 표현하기 위해서는 트라이(trie)를 주로 이용하지만, 기억공간 이용효율이 저조하다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 트라이의 장점을 유지하면서 공간효율을 향상시키는 기억구조를 제안한다. 한글은 조합문자이기 때문에 자모나 문자별로 기억시킬 수 있다. 그런데 자모단위로 기억시키면(P-모드) 검색시간은 빠르지만 공간효율이 나쁘고, 또한 문자단위로 기억시키면(C-모드) 공간효율은 좋지만 검색시간이 길어진다. 따라서 노드이용율과 분산율로 최적레벨을 선정한 다음, 입력단어의 시작자모부터 최적레벨까지는 자모 단위의 트라이로 기억시키고, 그 이상은 문자단위의 순차연결구조로 저장시켰다. (H-모드). 6가지 단어집합에 대하여 실험한 결과, H-모드에서의 검색시간은 P-모드만큼 빠르면서, 공간효율은 C-모드와 같게 되어 그 효용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

We have measured and analyzed the dark data of two PICNIC IR arrays (P574 and P560) obtained through the Cosmic Infrared Background ExpeRiment (CIBER). First, we identified three types of bad pixels: the cold, the hot, and the transient, which are figured in total as 0.06% for P574 and 0.19% for P560. Then, after the bad pixels were masked, we determined the dark noise to be 20.5 ${\pm}$ 0.05 $e^-$ and 16.1 ${\pm}$ 0.05 $e^-$, and the dark current to be 0.6 ${\pm}$ 0.05 $e^-$/sec and 0.7 ${\pm}$ 0.05 $e^-$/sec for P574 and P560, respectively. Finally, we discussed glitches and readout modes for a future mission.

The effects of polyamines on auxin polar transport were studied in corn coleoptile segments. Among putresine, spermidine and spermine tested in labelled auxin transport, spermidine inhibited auxin polar transport most strongly. Its inhibitory effect appeared after 1 h of transport period. Spermidine inhibited labelled auxin and 14C-benzoic acid accumulation into the tissue in the various pH range tested (pH 4.0-8.0). These results suggest that the inhibition of auxin transport may not be due to decrease in pH by spermine the effect of decreased pH in the extracellular space.

In this paper, we prove in p-uniforlmy convex space a fixed point theorem for a class of mappings T satsfying: for each x, y in the domain and for n = 1, 2, 3, $\cdots$, $$ \left\$\mid$ T^n x - T^n y \right\$\mid$ \leq a \cdot \left\$\mid$ x - y \right\$\mid$ + b(\left\$\mid$ x - T^n x \right\$\mid$ + \left\$\mid$ y - T^n y \right\$\mid$) + c(\left\$\mid$ c - T^n y \right\$\mid$ + \left\$\mid$ y - T^n x \right\$\mid$, $$ where a, b, c are nonnegative constants satisfying certain conditions. Further we establish some fixed point theorems for these mappings in a Hilbert space, in $L^p$ spaces, in Hardy spaces $H^p$ and in Sobolev spaces $H^{p,k}$ for 1 < p < $\infty$ and k $\leq$ 0. As a consequence of our main result, we also the results of Goebel and Kirk [7], Lim [8], Lifshitz [12], Xu [20] and others.
