Fe-l6Cr 페라이틱 합금에 증착된 Y-Cr 이층 박막의 800℃ 열처리 후의 구조 및 전기적 특성 (Structural and Electrical Properties of the Y-Cr Bilayer Deposited on Fe-l6Cr Ferritic Alloy after Heat Treatment at 800℃)

  • The oxidation behaviors of Y-Cr bilayer deposited on ferritic steel by magnetron-sputtering for application of the Fe-Cr alloys as interconnectors of planar-type solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) were studied. After oxidation at $800^{\circ}C$ for 40 hours, the major phase of $Y_2$$O_3$and the minor phase of $YCrO_3$, $Mn_{1.5}$ $Cr_{1.5}$ $O_4$and Cr$_2$SiO$_4$were formed in the Y/Cr bilayered samples, while the major phase of Cr$_2$O$_3$and the minor phase of $Y_2$$O_3$were formed as the major phase in the Cr/Y bilayered samples. The Log(ASR/T) that expresses electric resistance of the Y/Cr coated specimen with nonconducting $_Y2$$O_3$oxide showed high value of -2.80 Ω$\textrm{cm}^2$$K^{-1}$ / and that of the Cr/Y coated specimen with conducting $Cr_2$$O_3$oxide appeared to be -4.11 Ω$\textrm{cm}^2$$^{K}$ . The electric resistance of the Y/Cr coated specimen was largely increased due to the formation of high resistance oxide scales. However, the Cr/Y coated specimen did not show any increase in the electric resistance and had the long-term stability of oxidation because there was no formation of the secondary phases with low conductivity.

  • Plasma-sprayed coatings were prepared using by spray-dried Cr$_2$O$_3$ powder with and without MoO$_3$ addition. A reciprocal type tribe-tester was employed to examine friction and wear behavior of the specimens at room temperature. The worn surfaces of plasma spray coated specimens were observed by SEM. The results showed that friction coefficient of the MoO$_3$-added coatings were lower than those without MoO3 addition. However pure Cr$_2$O$_3$ coating showed the lowest wear loss at the self-mated test. The larger protecting layers were observed at the worn surface of plasma spray coated specimens with MoO$_3$ addition.

PECVD법으로 증착한 Cr코팅층이 Inconel 601과 Ni의 내산화성에 미치는 영향 (The effect of Cr coated on the Ni and Inconel 601 substrate by PECVD on the oxidation behavior at high temperature)

  • In this research, a thin layer of Cr was coated on the pure Ni and Inconel 601 by PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) in order to study the effect of Cr on the oxidation behavior at high temperature. Cr coated Inconel 601, which was oxidized at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours, formed a protective $Cr_2O_3$ oxide layer and the resistance to isothermai oxidation was improved. On the other hand, oxidation resistance of Cr coated Inconel 601 at 100$0^{\circ}C$ was not significantly improved, probably due to the formation or insufficient $Cr_2O_3$ layer. But, when oxidized at $1000^{\circ}C$ and $1100^{\circ}C$ for 100 hours, Cr coated Inconel 601 improved isothermal oxidation resistance by the formation of continuous $Cr_2O_3$ external scale and by the development of $Al_2O_3$ subscales. Cr coated Ni formed inner layer of $Cr_2O_3$ within almost pure NiO, which provided additional cation vacancies, thus increasing the mobility of Ni ions in this region. It is believed that this doping effect resulted in an increase in the observed oxidation rate compared with pure Ni and did not improve the oxidation resistance.

  • Nano-multilayered CrAlSiN films consisting of crystalline CrN nanolayers and amorphous AlSiN nanolayers were deposited by cathodic arc plasma deposition. Their oxidation characteristics were studied between 600 and $1000^{\circ}C$ for up to 70 h in air. During their oxidation, the amorphous AlSiN nanolayers crystallized. The formed oxides consisted primarily of $Cr_2O_3$, ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$, $SiO_2$. The outer $Al_2O_3$ layer formed by outward diffusion of Al ions. Simultaneously, an inner ($Al_2O_3$, $Cr_2O_3$)-mixed layer formed by the inward diffusion of oxygen ions. $SiO_2$ was present mainly in the lower part of the oxide layer due to its immobility. The CrAlSiN films displayed good oxidation resistance, owing to the formation of oxide crystallites of $Cr_2O_3$, ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$, and amorphous $SiO_2$.

  • 두개의 sulphato로 다리걸친 착물 $[Cr_2(NH_2)_2(H_2O)_2(SO_4)_2]{\cdot}2H_2O$, 말단 3개의 isocyanato $[Cr(NCO)_3(H_2O)]{\cdot}3H_2O$ 화합물과 갈철광 $[FeO(OH)]{\cdot}0.2H_2O$ 화합물들은 각각의 $Cr_2(SO_4)_3{\cdot}xH_2O, Cr(CH_3COO)_3, Fe_2(SO_4)_3$$80^{\circ}C$, 수용액에서 요소와 반응으로 합성되었다. 생성물들의 IR 스펙트럼에서 요소(urea)의 띠가 나타나지 않지만, 결합된 아마이드(amide), 물, 연결된 sulphato와 isocyanato 그룹에 대해서 특징적인 띠를 보인다. 착물들에 대한 열무게분석(TG)과 시차열분석법(DTA) 측정을 기록하였다. 얻어진 데이터들은 예상했던 구조화 잘 일치한다. 형성에 대한 설명과 화합물의 열역학적 분해에 대한 일반적인 메커니즘을 제시하였다.

Al2O3 + (Fe2O3, Al, Cr and Si) 소결 복합재료의 고온 부식 특성 (High-temperature corrosion properties of Al2O3 + (Fe2O3, Al, Cr and Si) mixed sintering materials)

  • $Fe_2O_3$, Al, Cr과 Si 분말을 고 에너지 볼 밀링해서 나노분말을 제조한 후 고주파유도 가열 활성 연소합성 장치로 1분 이내의 짧은 시간에 합성 및 소결한 $Al_2O_3+4.65(Fe_{0.43}Cr_{0.17}Al_{0.323}Si_{0.077})$, $Al_2O_3$ + 5.33 ($Fe_{0.375}Cr_{0.11}Al_{0.3}Si_{0.075}$), $Al_2O_3$ + 6.15 ($Fe_{0.325}Cr_{0.155}Al_{0.448}Si_{0.072}$), $Al_2O_3$ + 3.3 ($Fe_{0.6}Cr_{0.3}Al_{0.6}$) 소결체 시편을 $700^{\circ}C$의 온도에서 100시간 동안 공기 중에서 산화 및 $N_2-H_20-H_2S$ 혼합 가스 내에서 황화 부식을 실시하였다. 그 결과 산화 및 황화 부식 후에 ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$가 표면에 생성되어 보호 피막으로 작용하여 우수한 내식성을 보였다.

Cr이 첨가된 BiNbO$_4$유전체 세라믹스의 유전 특성 (The Dielectric Properties of the Cr added BiNbO$_4$Ceramics)

  • In this study, fur the use of portable communication multilayer devices. 0.15wt% V$_2$O$\_$5/ added BiNbO$_4$which is low-fire microwave dielectric ceramic as able to co-fire with high conductors was made into specimens with the additions of Cr$_2$O$_3$0.04, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2wt%. These specimens were sintered at 930, 960. 990, 1030$^{\circ}C$ respectively to make the microwave dielectric resonators. These resonators were investigated by measuring the structure and dielectric properties. The density of the specimens was increased by the amounts of the Cr$_2$O$_3$and increased by increasing the temperature. 0.8wt% Cr$_2$O$_3$added and sintered at 960$^{\circ}C$ specimen skewed 49 dielectric constant. Q$.$f values were increased by the amounts of Cr$_2$O$_3$. And Q value was deteriorated by the additions of Cr$_2$O$_3$at sufficiently sintered temperatures. Negative resonant temperature coefficients were moved to positive by the amounts of Cr$_2$O$_3$and returned negative again at 1.2wt%. Temperature characteristics were deteriorated at 1030$^{\circ}C$.

  • ZrO2-Toughened Alumina-Ceramics(ZTA) with Cr2O3 and HfO2 as addition were synthesized by assintering method for solid solution of Al2O3/Cr2O3 and ZrO2/HfO2, and were prepared by pressureless sintering at 1$600^{\circ}C$. The effects of Cr2O3 and HfO2 on the thermal and mechanical properties, the sintering mechanism, and the wearness between theory and experiment were investigated. Among three kinds of mechanisms such as stress-induced transformation, microcracking, and crack deflection it contributed to the ZTA system with a few exceptons according to composite. We show that wearness can be estimated sufficiently by HV and KIC through theory and experiment.

Cr 치환된 역스피넬 Fe3O4 박막의 자기적 특성 (Magnetic Properties of Cr-Doped Inverse Spinel Fe3O4 Thin Films)

  • 역스피넬 산화물 $Fe_3O_4$에 Cr을 치환하여 얻어지는 $Cr_xFe_{3-x}O_4$ 박막 시료들을 졸-겔 스핀코팅 방법을 이용하여 제작하고 그 구조적, 전자기적 특성들에 대한 측정 및 분석을 수행하였다. X선 회절 측정 결과, Cr 성분비가 증가함에 따라 격자상수가 소폭 감소하는 것이 관측되었다. 이는 Fe 이온에 비해 이온반경이 상대적으로 작은 Cr 이온이 +3의 이온수를 가지고 8면체 자리를 치환하는 것으로 설명 가능하다. 시료들에 대한 진동시료자화를 측정한 결과, Cr 성분비 증가에 따라 포화자화량이 $Fe_3O_4$에 비하여 점차적으로 감소하였는데, 이는 8면체 자리의 $Fe^{3+}(d^5)$$Cr^{3+}(d^3)$ 나타내는 스핀 자기능률 값의 비교를 통하여 설명 가능하다. 또한, 자기저항 효과도 Cr 성분비 증가에 따라 포화자화량과 유사한 추세로 감소하였다. $Cr_xFe_{3-x}O_4$ 박막 시료들의 보자력은 Cr 성분비 증가에 따라 증가함을 보였는데, 이는 $Cr^{3+}$ 이온의 8면체 자리 치환에 따른 자기 이방성의 증가에 기인하는 것으로 해석된다.

금속간 화합물 $Al_3Ti-Cr$의 부식특성 (Corrosion Characteristics of $Al_3Ti-Cr$ Intermetallics)

  • 유도 용해후 열기계적 처리를 거친 3종류의 $Al_3Ti-Cr합금, 즉 Al_{67}Ti_{25}Cr_8,\;Al_{66}Ti_{24}Cr_{10}$ 및 Al_{59}Ti_{26}Cr_{15}에 대해 2.5% NaCl 용액 내에 부삭시험과 1000, 1100 및 $1200^{\circ}C$에서의 고온 산화시험을 실시하였다. 전기화학적 평가결과에서 Cr조성이 증가함에 따라 국부부식에 대한 내식성이 증가하였으며, 부동태 피막의 취성파괴를 방지하였다. XPS결과는 $Al_3Ti-Cr$합금의 부동태 피막은 주로 $Al_2O_3$로 구성되어 있으며, $TiO_2$$Cr_2O_3$도 공존하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 고온 내산화성은 모든 시편이 전체적으로 뛰어난 내산화성을 지니고 있었는데, 구체적으로는 $Al_{59}Ti_{26}Cr_{15},\;Al_{66}Ti_{24}Cr_{10}\;및\;Al_{67}Ti_{25}Cr_8$의 순으로 증가하였다. 이는 합금내의 Al 함량이 증가할수록 $Al_2O_3$보호피막의 형성이 용이하였기 때문이었다.
