In this paper. we design the learning algorithm of LVQ which is used Forward Counter Propagation Networks to improve classification performance of LVQ networks. The weights of Forward Counter Propagation Networks which is between input layer and cluster layer can be learned to determine initial reference vectors by using SOM algorithm and to learn reference vectors by using LVQ algorithm. Finally. pattern vectors is classified into subclasses by neurons which is being in the cluster layer, and the weights of Forward Counter Propagation Networks which is between cluster layer and output layer is learned to classify the classified subclass, which is enclosed a class. Also. kr the number of classes is determined, the number of neurons which is being in the input layer, cluster layer and output layer can be determined. To prove the performance of the proposed learning algorithm. the simulation is performed by using training vectors and test vectors that ate Fisher's Iris data, and classification performance of the proposed learning method is compared with ones of the conventional LVQ, and it was a confirmation that the proposed learning method is more successful classification than the conventional classification.
The effects of chitosan dipping treatments with different molecular weights on the meat quality of Hanwoo(Korean Cattle) beef during refrigerated storage were investigated. The beef(M. Semimembranosus) were dipped in 0.5% chitosan(in 1% acetic acid) with two different molecular weights(Mw=150 and 600 kDa) for 5 min and stored at $1^{\circ}C$(90% RH). The pH was significantly(p<0.05) higher in chitosan(600 kDa) group than in the other groups. The L* value for 3 days was significantly(p<0.05) higher in chitosan (600 kDa) group, but it was not significantly(p>0.05) different after 6 days. The a* value of day 0(before storage) was not significantly(p>0.05) different among the treatment groups, however the a* value of day 12 was significantly(p<0.05) higher in chitosan(150 kDa) group. The metmyoglobin(%) was significantly(p<0.05) lower in chitosan(600 kDa) group. The total bacterial counts of day 0(before storage) were significantly(p<0.05) lower in chitosan(600 kDa) group, but during storage, the chitosan(150 kDa) group was effective in antibacterial activity. The chitosan(l50 kDa) group had significantly(p<0.05) lower shear force than the other groups over time.

The bulk photopolymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) with para-substituted phenylsilanes such as F-C6H4SiH3 (1), H3C-C6H4SiH3 (2), and H3CO-C6H4SiH3 (3) was performed to produce poly(MMA)s containing the respective silyl moiety as an end group. For all the hydrosilanes, the polymerization yields and the polymer molecular weights decreased, whereas the TGA residue yields and the relative intensities of Si-H IR stretching bands increased as the relative silane concentration over MMA increased. The polymerization yields and polymer molecular weights of MMA with 1-3 increased in the order of 3 < 1 < 2. These hydrosilanes influence significantly upon the photopolymerization of MMA as both chain-initiation and chain-transfer agents.
A feeding trial was conducted on commercial broilers for a period of 35 days to determine the individual and combined effects of aflatoxin (AF) and T-2 toxin (T-2) on performance, organ weights and immune status. The efficacy of dietary glucomannan-containing yeast product (GYP) ($Mycosorb^{(R)}$) and hydrated sodium calcium aluminosilicate (HSCAS) in preventing the adverse effects of aflatoxin and T-2 toxin was also evaluated. Twelve dietary treatments ($4{\times}3$ factorial) comprising two dietary levels each of AF (0 and 2 mg/kg), T-2 toxin (0 and 1 mg/kg), GYP (0 and 1 kg/ton) and HSCAS (0 and 10 kg/ton) were tested on 720 commercial broiler chickens divided at random into 36 replicates of 20 chicks each (10 males and 10 females). Weight gain and feed intake were recorded weekly. Organ morphology and antibody titers for Newcastle disease (ND) and infectious bursal disease (IBD) were measured on the $35^{th}$ day. AF and T-2 toxin individually decreased weight gain and increased feed conversion ratio (FCR) (p<0.05). AF alone (p<0.05) increased weights of liver, kidney, gizzard and spleen and reduced thymus and bursal weights. T-2 toxin (p<0.05) increased liver and gizzard weights and decreased thymus weight. Both AF and T-2 toxin when fed individually affected ND and IBD titers in a significant manner. Significant interactions between AF and T-2 toxin were observed for their additive effects on weight gain, FCR, organ weights and antibody titers. Addition of GYP (p<0.05) improved weight gain, feed conversion efficiency and restored the organ weights. Antibody titers against ND and IBD were significantly improved with the supplementation of GYP. Supplementation of HSCAS (p<0.05) resulted in improvement in weight gain and restored organ weights in the groups fed AF alone, but not in T-2 toxin fed groups. HSCAS inclusion did not influence FCR in toxin fed groups. Addition of HSCAS (p<0.05) improved the antibody titers against ND and IBD only in AF fed groups. Thus, the results indicate that addition of GYP is effective in averting the individual and combined toxicity of aflatoxin and T-2 toxin in commercial broilers, while HSCAS is effective only against aflatoxin.
Optimum drying conditions to utilize porcine blood from slaughter house for blood meals, and the effects of blood meals on growth in broiler chicks were investigated. Moisture and protein con-tents of slaughter porcine blood were 79.8 and 16.4%, respectively. The protein contents of the flash dried blood meals at 80˚C were not different from those of the spray dried blood meals at 160 and 190˚C, but higher by 17% relative to those of the spray dried blood meals at 80 and 120˚C. Results from protein analysis by SDS-polyacrylamide electrophoresis showed that flash dried blood meals at 80˚C and spray dried blood meals at 160˚C were better than spray dried blood meals at 80, 120 and 190˚C in terms of protein quality. In Feeding Trial I with broiler chicks, body weights of chicks fed 2, 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were increased at 35 days by 5.6, 7.9 and 4.0%, respectively, compared to control group(P<0.05). In Feeding Trial II, body weights of chicks fed 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were increased at 42 days by 4.9 and 5.3%, respectively, compared to control group(P<0.05). Feed conversion ratios of chicks fed diets 4 and 6% flash dried blood meal diets at 80˚C were significantly improved at 42 days by 7.0 and 3.7%, respectively, compared to that of control group(P<0.05). The optimum drying condition of slaughter porcine blood seemed to be the flash drying method at 80˚C
An experiment has been carried-out on physiological responses in Saanen, Anglo Nubian and Toggenburg goats at different body weights and feed intakes during treadmill exercise at $30{^{\circ}C}$ environmental temperature (ET). The results showed that respiration rate (RR) was significant between time ${\times}$ breed interaction (p < 0.01), with values for the Anglo Nubian being least, while the Saanen was intermediate. With time, RR differed significantly, and after 1 h the respective RR were 238, 221 and 303/min in the Saanen, Anglo Nubian and Toggenburg. With time the rectal temperature (Tr) increased gradually and after 1 h exercise mean values were 40.8, 41.3 and $40.7{^{\circ}C}$ in the Saanen, Anglo Nubian and Toggenburg respectively. Rump skin temperature (RTs) values differed significantly between Anglo Nubians and Toggenburgs, with the differences averaging 0.3, 0.6, 0.4 and $0.4{^{\circ}C}$ after 15, 30, 45 and 60 min exercise respectively. With breed, highest loin skin temperature (LTs) values were in the Anglo Nubian, with an overall mean of $37.9{^{\circ}C}$ (p < 0.05).
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of hatching time on body weights and body measurements in White Plymouth Rock selected for female lines of broiler parents stock, Thirty cockerels were mated to 300 hens and the hatching eggs produced by each hen were pedigreed for sire and dam. The total of 975 chickens were classified into 14 groups by hatching time and their body weights and body measurements were recorded every 2 weeks. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The body weight at 4,6 and 8 weeks of age, and the length of keel and shank were decreased as hatching times were delayed. Correlation coefficient between hatching tine and body weights or body measurements was negative. 2. Chickens from strain D were hatched 7.4 hours later in male and 7.2 hours in female than chickens from strain C and the growth rate of strain C was superior to that of. strain D.

Tributyltin chloride (TBTCI) is an organotin compounds that have been widely used as antifouling agents and bioaccumulated in the food chain. TBTCI has been known to induce imposex in female gastropods. There are several reports that TBTCI increased testosterone level and inhibited the conversion of testosterone to estradiol by the aromatase cytochrome P450 enzyme. In this studies, we investigated the effects of TBTCI on steroidogenesis in testes, We dosed to 4-week-old Spragus-Dawleys (SD) male rats with TSTCI (0, 1, 5, 10, and 20mg/kg/day) daily by gavage for 14 days. TBTCI significantly decreased the weights of seminal vesicle, prostate, cowper's gland and LABC at 10 and 20mg/kg/day but significantly Increased the weights of liver at 10 and 20mg/kg/day and adrenals at 20mg/kg/day. mRNA levels of steroidogenic acute regulatory (StAR) and P450 aromatase were decreased and mRNA levels of cytochrome P450 17$\alpha$-hydroxylase/$C_{17-20}$ lyase (P450c17) were increased by TBTCI. TBTCI significantly increased serum testosterone level in dose-dependent manner. From above results, we found that TBTCI altered mRNA levels of enzymes related steroidogenesis, weights of organs and serum testosterone levels. This suggests that change of hormone levels may be due to alteration of mRNA levels of steroidogenic enzyme in testes, but further studies are necessary to investigate hormone levels in testis organ in order to find a relation of enzyme related to steroidogenesis with hormone levels. The living radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) by atom transfer radical polymerization, (ATRP) employing a $Fe(II)X_2/diphenyl-2-pyridyl$ phosphine (PyP) catalytic system (X=Cl, Br), was investigated using several initiators and solvents at various temperatures. Most of the polymerizations with the PyP ligand were well controlled, with a linear increase in the number average molecular weights ($M_n$) vs. conversion, with relatively low molecular weight distributions ($M_w/M_n=1.2-1.4$) throughout the reactions. The measured weights matched those of the predicted values. The ethyl-2-bromoisobutyrate (EBriB) initiated ATRP of MMA, with the $Fe(II)X_2/diphenyl-2-pyridyl$ phosphine catalytic system (X=Cl, Br), was better controlled in p-xylene at $80^{\circ}C$ than the other solvents used in this study.
We prove weighted L$^{p}$ estimates with respect to the non-isotropic norm for the (equation omitted)-equation on real ellipsoids, where weights are powers of the distance to the boundary. The non-isotropic norm is smaller than the usual norm, by a factor which is equal to the distance to the boundary in the complex tangential component and which is equal to the m-th root of the distance to the boundary in the complex normal component. Here n is the maximal order of contact of the boundary of the real ellipsoid with complex analytic curves.
