A Study on the Structural Analysis on Multicultural Competence Relating to Spiritual Intelligence and Human Rights Attitudes of University Students Majoring in Social Welfare (사회복지전공 대학생의 다문화 역량에 관한 영성지능과 인권태도의 구조분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the multicultural competence of university students majoring in social welfare studies and to verify the influence of human rights attitude and spiritual intelligence that affect multicultural competence using structural equation model. Spiritual intelligence was set as an independent variable and multicultural competence was set as a dependent variable. Human rights attitude was established as a mediating variable. Study subjects were 259 university students majoring in social welfare studies at 5 universities in the Daegu, Gyoungbuk area. Spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude appeared to have a significant effect on multicultural competence, indicating that a higher level of spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude were correlated with a higher level of human rights attitude. Also in the pathway of spiritual intelligence on multicultural competence, human rights attitude had a significant mediating effect. When the university student majoring in social welfare studies had a high level of spiritual intelligence including transcendence and meaning and purpose of life, their perspective on human rights which is important in the practice of social welfare affected the multicultural competence required to assist immigrants of various identities. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended for the university students majoring in social welfare to have the "three-multi-sensitivities" including sensitivity of multicultural competence, sensitivity of spiritual intelligence, and sensitivity of human right attitude.

Image Encryption by C-MLCA and 3-dimensional Chaotic Cat Map using Laplace Expansions (C-MLCA와 Laplace 전개를 이용한 3차원 카오스 캣맵에 의한 영상 암호)

  • Information security has become a major challenge with the advent of cloud and social networking sites. Conventional encryption algorithms might not be suitable for image encryption because of the large data size and high redundancy among the raw pixels of a digital image. In this paper, we generalize the encryption method for of color image proposed by Jeong et al. to color image encryption using parametric 3-dimensional chaotic cat map using Laplace expansion and C-MLCA. Through rigorous experiments, we demonstrate that the proposed new image encryption system provides high security and reliability.

인터넷 쇼핑몰에서의 제품구매시 브랜드와 가격의 상대적 중요성 지각에 관한 연구

  • LG 경제연구원이 발표한 보고서에 의하면, 국내 인터넷 쇼핑몰 시장이 2003년에는 1조 7000억원 규모를 상회할 것으로 예측되고 있다. 그러나 급격한 성장세를 보이고 있는 인터넷 쇼핑 시장규모에 비해 아직까지도 소비자와 관련된 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 특히, 인터넷 쇼핑과 관련된 자료를 보면 소비자들은 인터넷을 통한 제품구매 시 여전히 불안감을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있음에도 불구하고 인터넷쇼핑에서의 지각된 위험에 대한 연구는 간헐적으로 이루어지고 있을 뿐이며, 이들 연구 역시 인터넷 쇼핑에서의 지각된 위험과 그 유형을 규명하는 데에만 초점을 맞추고 있어 지각된 위험수준에 따라 소비자의 구매행동이 어떻게 달라지는지에 대해서는 논의가 제대로 이루어지지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지각된 위험수준에 따른 소비자의 구매행동을 브랜드와 가격 의존도로 한정시켜 이들 요인들간의 상대적 중요성 지각을 살펴볼 것이다. 본 연구에서 다룰 연구문제를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 제품 구매시 제품유형과 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 명성 그리고 인터넷 쇼핑경험의 세 변수는 소비자의 지각된 위험에 각각 어떤 영향을 미치며, 탐색재와 경험재, 인터넷 쇼핑몰 명성의 정도 그리고 인터넷 쇼핑경험의 유무에 따라 어떤 차이점이 존재하는가\ulcorner 둘째, 소비자의 지각된 위험의 수준과 브랜드와 가격의 상대적 중요성 지각과는 어떤 관계가 있는가\ulcorner 셋째, 브랜드와 가격의 상대적 중요성 지각정도에 두 매개변수인 제품 정보량과 제품 친숙도가 어떤 역할을 하는가\ulcorner 등이다.bition of severity of convulsions, decrease of seizures threshold, decrease of audiogenic seizures in rats of different strains and normalization of cerebral blood flow (measured by hydrogen test) were demonstrated in rats after i.c.v., intraperitoneally and orally administration, respectively.   • A Monte-Carlo simulation model, developed to predict size distribution of air bubbles in turbulent shear flow, is applied to a laboratory-scale problem. Sensitivity to various numerical and physical parameters of the model is analyzed. Practical applicability of the model is explored through comparisons of results with experimental measurements. Bubble size increases with air-water discharge ratio and friction factor. Bubble size decreases with increasing mean flow velocity, but the total bubble surface area in the aeration region remains fairly constant. The effect on bubble size distribution of the longitudinal length increment in the simulation model is negligible. A larger radial length increment yields more small and large bubbles and fewer in between. Bubble size distribution is significantly affected by its initial distribution and the location of air injection. Collision efficiency is introduced to explain the discrepancy between collisions with and without coalescence.

  • Adaptive transmission techniques can improve the performance of wireless communication system by adaptively changing the transmission parameter such as modulation, code-rate, and power according to the channel state. For orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system, the adaptive transmission techniques can be applied to each subcarrier unit. In this paper, we consider the adaptive code-rate OFDM system in which optimal code-rate is applied to each subcarrier according to the subchannel state. Performance analysis show that $3\sim6$dB gain of SNR or up to $30\sim50\%$ increase of data rate are achieved in the condition of bit error rate $10^{-6}$.

  • This paper proposes an evolutionary learning algorithm to discipline the projection neural nctworks (PNNs) with special type of hidden nodes which can activate radial basis functions as well as sigmoid functions. The proposed algorithm not only trains the parameters and the connection weights hut also c~ptimizes the network structure. Through the structure optimization, the number of hidden node:; necessary to represent a given target function is determined and the role of each hidden node is decided whether it activates a radial basis function or a sigmoid function. To apply the algorithm, PNN is realized by a self-organizing genotype representation with a linked list data structure. Simulations show that the algorithm can build the PNN with less hidden nodes than thc existing learning algorithm using error hack propagation(EE3P) and network growing strategy.

  • Numerical analysis is performed for the unsteady axisymmetric two dimensional phase change problem of freezing of water around a vertical tube. Heat conduction in the tube wall and solid phase, natural convection in liquid phase and volume expansion caused by density difference between solid and liquid phases are included in the numerical analysis. Existing correlation is used for estimating density-temperature relation of water, and the effect of volume expansion is reflected as fluid velocity at the interface and the free surface. As pure water has maximum density at 4.deg. C, it is found that there exists an initial temperature at which the flow direction reverses near the interface and by this effect the slope of interface becomes reversed depending on the initial temperature of water. By considering natural convection and solid-liquid density difference in the calculation, their effects on phase change process are studied and the effects of various parameters are also studied quantitatively.

  • 본 연구에서는 SWAT(Soil and Water Assessment Tool) 모형을 이용하여 미래 기후변화가 댐 유역의 하천수질에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 충주댐 상류유역($6,585.1km^2$)에 대해 민감도 분석을 통해 최적의 유출및 유사관련 매개변수를 선정하였으며, 충주호 유입하천 상류 2개 지점/영월1, 영월2)과 유역 출구점을 대상으로 일별 유출량 및 월별 수질자료를 바탕으로 모형의 보정(1998-2000)및 검증(2001-2003)을 실시하였다. 미래 기후자료는 IPCC(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)에서 제공하는 SRES/Special Report on Emission Scenarios) A2, A1B, B1 기후변화시나리오의 MIROC3.2 hires와 ECHAM5-OM 모델의 결과 값을 이용하였다. 먼저 과거 30년 기후자료(1977-2006, baseline)를 바탕으로 각 모델별 20C3M(20th Century Climate Coupled Model)의 모의 결과 값을 이용하여 강수와 온도를 보정한 뒤 Change Factor(CF) Method로 Downscaling 하였으며, 미래 기후변화 시나리오는 2020s, 2050s, 2080s의 세 기간으로 나누어 각각 분석 하였다. 기후변화 시나리오 적용에 따른 SWAT 모의결과로부터 기후변화가 수문학적 거동 및 하천수질에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다.

  • TMHMM(Tied Mixture Hidden Markov Model) is an important approach to reduce the number of free parameters in speech recognition. However, this model suffers from a degradation in recognition accuracy due to its GPDF (Gaussian Probability Density Function) clustering error. This paper proposes a clustering algorithm, called HCNN(Homogeneous Centroid Neural network), to cluster acoustic feature vectors in TMHMM. Moreover, the HCNN uses the heterogeneous distance measure to allocate more code vectors in the heterogeneous areas where probability densities of different states overlap each other. When applied to Korean digit isolated word recognition, the HCNN reduces the error rate by 9.39% over CNN clustering, and 14.63% over the traditional K-means clustering.

Influence of Electrostatic Discharge Circuit Parameters on the Minimum Ignition Energy of Suspended Dust Clouds (분진운의 최소점화에너지에 대한 정전기 방전회로의 매개변수 영향)

  • The ignitability(minimum ignition energy, MIE) of a suspended dust clouds is very important aspect of technical safety indices. This paper reported the experimental results dealing with the influence of discharge circuit on the MIE of a suspended dust clouds. The movement of a suspended dust clouds was also observed with the high speed camera. The Hartmann vertical-tube apparatus(MIKE-3) described in the international standard of IEC and Polypropylene (PP, 50% volume-average, D50: $761{\mu}m$) resin powders were used in this experiment. The following results were obtained: (1) the MIE of a suspended PP powder depended markedly on the discharge circuit; in other words, when a resistor was connected in series with the discharge sparking circuit(RC), the lowest value(31mJ) of MIE was obtained for a suspended PP powder comparison with the other circuits(C circuit; 370mJ or LC circuit; 71mJ). (2) the discharge duration time is more important than other factors with regard to MIE of a suspended PP powder.
