멀티센서 기반 차량 위치인식 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Multi-Sensor-based Vehicle Localization and Tracking System)

  • 본 논문에서는 가우시안 정규분포 모델 기반의 멀티센서 데이터 퓨전 알고리즘을 이용한 차량 위치인식 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 차량 위치인식 시스템은 GPS를 중심으로 제공되어 왔으나 위성 신호 수신이 어려운 실내나 빌딩이 빽빽하게 들어선 도심에서는 제대로 작동하지 않는 문제가 있었다. 이를 해결하기 위해 GPS와 UWB를 결합하는 방법이 연구되었으나 위치변화에 따라 각 측위매체를 이산적으로 전환하여 차량과 같은 이동이 잦은 대상에게 끊임없이 유연한 위치 정보를 제공하지 못하는 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 가우시안 정규분포 모델을 바탕으로 GPS 위치 데이터와 UWB 센서 데이터를 유기적으로 결합하는 Hybrid UWB/GPS 측위시스템을 구성하여 측위시스템의 적용범위에 민감하지 않고 유연한 위치정보를 제공하도록 한다. 제안된 시스템을 Ubisense와 Asen GPS를 이용하여 $12m\;{\times}\;8m$ 크기의 실외 환경에서 실험하였으며, 구현된 시스템을 통해 기존 UWB 및 GPS 시스템에 비해 정밀도 및 연동성이 향상되었음을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 차량에서 주차 관리 및 차량추적 관리 등 다양한 CNS를 지원할 수 있다.

분사가스 온도에 따른 수중운동체 주위 초공동 특성 분석을 위한 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis for Supercavitation Characteristics around Underwater Vehicle according to Ventilated Gas Temperature)

  • Supercavitation is a phenomenon in which the cavity covers the entire underwater vehicle. The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze the thermal effect on the cavity characteristics by changing the ventilated gas temperature through computational analysis. For this study, a homogeneous mixture model based on the 3D Navier-Stokes equation was used. As a phase change model, it is its own code considering both pressure change and temperature change. A dimensionless number Tm was presented to analyze the numerical results, and as the Tm increased, the cavity length increased by about 3.6 times and the cavity width by about 3.3 times at 393.15 K compared to room temperature. Analyzing these thermal effects, it was confirmed that rapid heat exchange and heat transfer between the gas phase and the liquid phase occurred at the location where the ventilated gas was sprayed, affecting the cavity characteristics. In addition, it can be confirmed that the initial cavity surface becomes unstable as the ventilated gas temperature increases, and it can be confirmed based on the numerical analysis results that the critical temperature at which the cavity surface becomes unstable is 373.15 K.

도로연결 시설 진출차량의 합류속도에 따른 본선 유발 총 지체 분석 (A Study of Total Delay Occurrence Depending on Merging Speed from Acceleration Lane)

  • 도로연결허가는 위계가 높은 도로의 접근성을 제한함으로서 높은 속도로의 지역 간 광역 이동성을 보존하기 위한 제도이다. 이미 도시화가 진행되어 도로의 이동성이 상실된 지역에서 과도하게 긴 변속차로 길이요구로 인해 토지의 접근성이 악화되므로 향상된 차량 가속성능을 반영하여 변속차로 최소길이를 재검토해야한다는 요구가 제시된다. 그러나 변속차로 최소길이 요건을 재검토하기 위해서는 저속에서 본선으로 합류하는 차량이 본선에 미치는 영향을 정확히 파악하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 본선의 교통류율, 가속차로 내 도달속도에 따라서 도로연결시설 진출차량 1대가 본선에 유발하는 총 지체를 분석하였다. 본선의 교통류율과 총 지체는 정확한 선형관계를 가지고 있는 것이 확인되었으며, 도로연결 시설에서 진출한 차량의 본선 합류속도가 40km/h부터 100km/h까지 20km/h간격으로 증가함에 따라 각각 약 5.0배, 1.6배, 5.1배 감소하였다. 가속차로 내 차량이 본선과 동일한 속도로 가속하여 합류할 경우 유발하는 총 지체가 0.5대·시 이하로 가장 이상적이지만, 운전자의 인지반응속도 1초를 감안할 때 본선과 약 20km/h이내의 속도편차를 가지고 합류할 경우 본선에 유발하는 총 지체는 미미한 것으로 판단되었다.

실험계획법을 이용한 대형트럭 조종성 향상을 위한 설계인자 최적조합에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimal Combination of Design Parameters for Improving Handling Performance of a Large Truck Using Design of Experiments)

  • This paper presents a scheme for finding an optimal combination of design parameters affecting on the handling performance of a large truck using design of experiments. The average of the sum of peak-to-peak roll angles at the first and second part of the double lane is used as an objective function for design of experiments. Six design parameters are selected from all possible parameters affecting on the handling performance. The table of orthogonal arrays is made by 27 times simulations. A computational model of a large truck is developed by MSC/NASTRAN and MSC/ADAMS, and verified the reliability of it with the results of vehicle tests performed in a double lane change course. It is used for the simulations. Analyses of variance and factor effect of the table of orthogonal arrays are performed. This paper proposes an optimal combination of those six design parameters for improving the handling performance of the large truck.

Effect of C1 Esterase Inhibitor on the Cardiac Dysfunction Following Ischemia and Reperfusion in the Isolated Perfused Rat Heart

  • Complement-mediated neutrophil activation has been hypothesized to be an important mechanism of reperfusion injury. It has been proposed that C1 esterase inhibitor (C1 INH) may prevent the complement- dependent activation of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) that occurs within postischemic myocardium. Therefore, The effect of C1 INH was examined in neutrophil dependent isolated perfused rat heart model of ischemia (I) (20 min) and reperfusion (R) (45 min). Administration of C1 INH (5 mg/Kg) to I/R hearts in the presence of PMNs $(100{\times}10^6)$ and homologous plasma improved coronary flow and preserved cardiac contractile function (p<0.001) in comparison to those I/R hearts receiving only vehicle. In addition, C1 INH significantly (p<0.001) reduced PMN accumulation in the ischemic myocardium as evidenced by an attenuation in myeloperoxidase activity. These findings demonstrate the C1 INH is a potent and effective cardioprotective agent inhibits leukocyte-endothelial interaction and preserves cardiac contractile function and coronary perfusion following myocardial ischemia and reperfusion.

인삼(人蔘)이 수컷 생쥐의 정자 수와 CatSper3, 4 단백질 발현에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Ginseng Radix on sperm count and CatSper3, 4 proteins expression in Male Mice)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the reproductive effect of Ginseng radix on male mice. Methods : Male C57BL/6J mice were divided into four groups ; normal group (vehicle-treated, n=8), Ginseng radix treatment group (100, 500, 1000 mg/kg, n=8). Ginseng radix extract was treated for 5 weeks. After treatment each group was examined for assessment of sperm count and CatSper protein expression using computer assisted semen analysis (CASA) system and the immunofluorescence. Results : Sperm count of normal and Ginseng radix extract treated group were 287.57 vs. 371.62, 364.83, $343.29{\times}10^6$, respectively. The CatSper3, 4 proteins expression of Ginseng radix treated group were significantly increased than that of normal group. Conclusions : These findings suggest that the Ginseng radix improves male reproductive function by increasing sperm count and CatSper protein expression.

SIFT의 descriptor를 위한 sin/cos 프로세서의 구현 (Implementation of sin/cos Processor for Descriptor on SIFT)

  • SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform) 알고리즘은 현재 비디오 감시카메라, 자율 주행시스템 등과 같은 영상 시스템에서 많이 사용되고 있다. SIFT 알고리즘에서 연산량과 연산시간이 가장 많이 필요한 부분이 descriptor의 sin/cos 함수를 연산하는 부분이다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 SIFT 알고리즘에 사용되는 descriptor를 위한 sin/cos 함수를 하드웨어로 구현하였다. Verilog-HDL 언어를 사용하여 FPGA로 구현하고 그 성능을 분석한다. Xilinx Spartan 2E(XC2S200E-PQ208-6) 를 사용하여 구현하였을때, 149 Slices에 233 LUTs가 소모되었으며, 최대 주파수는 60.01MHz로 동작하였다. 또한 descriptor에 적용하여 소프트웨어와 비교 하였을 때 40배 정도의 빠른 성능 향상을 얻었다.

무인차량 라이다용 CMOS 듀얼채널 자동 이득조절 트랜스임피던스 증폭기 어레이 (A Dual-Channel CMOS Transimpedance Amplifier Array with Automatic Gain Control for Unmanned Vehicle LADARs)

  • In this paper, a dual-channel feed-forward transimpedance(TIA) array is realized in a standard $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS technology which exploits automatic gain control function to provide 40-dB input dynamic range for either detecting targets nearby or sensing imminent danger situations. Compared to the previously reported conventional feed-forward TIA, the proposed automatic-gain-control feed-forward TIA(AFF-TIA) extends the input dynamic range 25 dB wider by employing a 4-level automatic gain control circuit. Measured results demonstrate the linearly varying transimpedance gain of 47 to $72dB{\Omega}$, input dynamic range of 1:100, the bandwidth of $${\geq_-}670MHz$$, the equivalent input referred noise current spectral density of 6.9 pA/${\surd}$HZ, the maximum sensitivity of -26.8 dBm for $10^{-12}BER$, and the power consumption of 27.6 mW from a single 1.8-V supply. The dual-channel chip occupies the area of $1.0{\times}0.73mm^2$ including I/O pads.

Ti3SiC2 MAX Phase 합성을 위한 Arc Melting 공정 제어 (Process Parameter Control of Arc Melting Process for Ti3SiC2 MAX Phase Synthesis)

  • The Ti3SiC2 MAX phase was synthesized by arc-melting process under three different processing times. We confirmed that the reaction between the TiCX phase and Ti-Si liquid phase is important for the synthesis of the Ti3SiC2 MAX phase. Results suggest that the Ti3SiC2 MAX phase decomposed when the arc-melting time was greater than 80s. Herein, we aim to determine the detailed parameters for the reported arc-melting process, which can provide useful insights on the synthesis of the Ti3SiC2 MAX phase by arc-melting process. Furthermore, we compared the electrical characteristics and densities of the three samples.

자동차 연료펌프의 오염민감도 실험 연구 (An Experimental Investigation on The Contamination Sensitivity of An Automotive Fuel Pump)

  • This study addresses the contamination sensitivity test of a typical fuel pump for automotive vehicle. The objective of the study is to find the contamination sensitivity coefficient of fuel pump on specific contaminant particle sizes so that optimal fuel filter could be selected. To achieve the objective, the degradation of discharge flow rate of fuel pump was measured under the experiments of various contaminants size ranges of ISO test dust up to 80${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. The fundamental theory of contamination sensitivity was introduced and the contamination sensitivity coefficients were estimated using the experimental data. Maximum contamination sensitivity coefficient of $5{\times}10^{-6}$ L/minㆍEa was found on the contaminant size range of 40${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$∼50${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. The magnified picture of the surface of vane disc revealed that the abrasive wear was the principal cause of discharge flow rate degradation. Hence, this study revealed that high efficiency filter on the contaminant particle size range of 30${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$∼70${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ especially should be used to maintain the service lift of the fuel filter.
