ON INTEGRAL MEANS OF DERIVATIVES OF UNIVALENT FUNCTIONS

  • Let S denote the class of nivalent functions normalized so that f(0)=f'(0)-1=0 in vertical bar z vertical bar <1. Let $S_{\alpha}$$^{*}$, -.pi./2<.alpha.<.pi./2, denote the subclass of S that satisfies Re $e^{i{\alpha}}$zf'(z)/f(z).geq.0 in vertical bar z vertical bar <1; then f is called .alpha.-spiral-like and the case .alpha.=0 is the class of normalized starlike functions [6, pp.52]. Let T denote the class of functions f normalized as above and satisfying Im z[Im f(z)]..geq.0 in vertical bar z vertical bar <1; then f is called typically real and T contains those functions of S whose coefficients are real [6, pp.55]. Also, in view of [6, pp.231], let B(.lambda.) be the class of function normalized as above and map vertical bar z vertical bar <1 onto the complement of an arc with radial angle .lambda.(0<.lambda.<.pi./2). The radial angle is meant to be the angle between the tangent and radial vectors to the arc. This note includes a sharp version for Corollary 1 of [2] when f.mem. $S_{\alpha}$$^{*}$ as well as a logarithmic coefficient estimate.nt estimate.

암반사면의 전도파괴에 대한 안정해석 (Stability Analysis of Toppling Failure in Rock Slopes)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 불연속면의 공학적 특성, 사면형상과 하중조건 등을 고려한 암반사면 전도 파괴에 대한 안정해석방법을 개발하고 적용하는테 있다. 암반사면의 전도파괴에 대한 안정은 경사각 $\alpha_s$ 와 H/t비에 주된 영향을 받는다. 설계적용을 위하여 매개변수에 따른 My띠와 $\alpha$서 함수로 표현되는 암반사면 전도파괴에 대한 안정도표를 작성하였다. 안정도표에서 $\alpha_s$와 Hy띠가 작아질수록 안정성이 증가하는 경향을 보인다. 안정도표에서 안정영역은 간극수압변화에 따라 가장 크게 감소한다. 파괴영역의 변화는 지진력과 단계각에 가장 민감하다.

2엽 수중 슬러리 펌프 임펠러 전산해석 (CFD Analysis of Submersible Slurry Pump with Two Blades)

  • 본 연구는 볼텍스 형태를 대신하는 원심형태의 비 막힘형 2엽 수중 슬러리 펌프 임펠러를 개발하기 위해 수행하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 펌프 설계에 있어 중요한 변수로 입구면 날개각(blade angle)과 날개 길이 각(blade length angle) $\alpha$를 선정하여 이들이 펌프의 효율에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 상용 코드인 ANSYS CFX and BladeGen을 사용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 입구면 임펠러 날개 형상은 $\beta$값이 $30^{\circ}$ 로 일정한 값을 가질 때 가장 높은 효율을 가지게 됨을 알 수 있었으며, $\alpha$값은 효율에 비례하는 특징을 가짐을 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • An investigation made of the variations of angle of bias on the top of the sleeve cap curve line and calculated easing contraction ratio by capheights(A ; a,h$\times$5,/6) B: A, H/4 +4cm C:A.H/3 D: A.H/ 4+3cm E:AH/4+2cm, F: A,H/4+1cm, G: A,H/4, H:A,H/6, I:A,H/8) and the efects of easing contraction on the cap curve lines of sleeve A, D, G by easing stitch density with the gathering foot: sewing condition-lockstitch industrial machine stitch density(N1.0 ; 38stitches/3cm N1.5: 26stitches/3cm, N2.0 ; 19stitches/3cm, N2.5 ; 14stitches/ 3cm) The results obtained were as follows; 1) The variations of the angle of bias on the top of the sleeve cap curve line by cap heights can be done according to the angle balance (front; $\alpha$-$\beta$ back ; $\alpha$'- $\beta$') between the angle (front ;$\alpha$, $\beta$, back ; $\alpha$'- $\beta$') of bias of the two base-lines. 2) The higher cap height the more higher the calculated easing contraction ratio. 3) The lower the stitch density the higher easing contraction ratio. 4) The effects of easing contraction was that sleeve G was more than sleeve A, D.

외경선삭가공시 등가유효경사각에 따른 칩절단 특성 (Chip Breaking Characteristics Depending on Equivalent Effective Rake Angle in Turning)

  • Machinability in metal cutting processes depends on cutting input conditions such as cutting velocity, feed rate, depth of cut, types of work material and tool shape factors. In this study, to assess chip breaking characteristics of a turning process, an equivalent oblique cutting system to this has been established. And the equivalent effective rake angle was determined using side rake angle, back rake angle and side cutting edge angle of the tool. A non-dimensional parameter, Chip breaking index(CB), was used to assess Chip breaking characteristics of chip in conjunction with the equivalent effective rake angle. In case of positive rake angles of the equivalent effective rake, the back rake angle has little effect on the chip breaking characteristics however, in case of negative ones, the side rake angle has some effect on Chip breaking characteristics.

X선 회절을 이용한 자동차 압연강의 잔류응력 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Residual Stress in Rolled Steel for Automobile using X-ray Diffraction)

  • In textured material, diffraction angle $2{\theta}$ usually shows a nonlinear relation against $sin^2{\psi}$ due to elastic anisotropy of crystals. SPHD and SPCD steel is cold-rolled carbon steel for automobile. The characteristics X-ray for stress measurement is Cr $K_{\alpha}\;and\;Mo\;K_{\alpha}$ characteristic X-ray. The $2{\theta}-sin^2{\psi}$ diagram under elastic strain seems to have a linear behavior using regression line of data but has a nonlinear behavior in distribution of data by Cr $K_{\alpha}$ characteristic X-ray. As the plastic strain of specimen increases, the nonlinearity of $2{\theta}$ with respect to $sin^2{\psi}$ increases remarkably. On the other hand, the diffraction angle $2{\theta}$ by Mo $K_{\alpha}$ characteristic X-ray shows a good linearity on $2{\theta}-sin^2{\psi}$ diagram under plastic strain as well as elastic strain. Therefore, this paper presents the measurement of residual stress in cold-rolled carbon steel for automobile using penetration depth of Mo $K_{\alpha1}$ characteristic X-ray and multiplicity factor of crystal diffraction plane.

볼록한 표면위에 분사되는 원형경사충돌제트의 국소열전달계수 측정에 관한 연구 (Measurement of the local heat transfer coefficient on a convex hemispherical surface with round oblique impinging jet)

  • Measurements of the local heat transfer coefficients were made on a hemispherically convex surface with a round oblique impinging jet. The liquid crystal transient method was used for these measurements. This method, which is a variation on the transient method, suddenly exposes a preheated wall to an impinging jet while video recording the response of liquid crystal for the surface temperature measurements. The Reynolds number used was 23000 and the nozzle-to-surface distance was L/d=2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 and the jet angle was $\alpha$=$0^{\circ}\; 15^{\circ}\;30^{\circ}C\; and \;40^{\circ}C$. In the experiment, the Nusselt number at the stagnation point decreases as the jet angle increases and has the maximum value for L/d=6. The X-axis Nusselt number distributions exhibit Secondary maxima at $0^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$\re 15^{\circ}C, L/d\le6$ for X/d<0(upstream) and at $0^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$40^{\circ}C,\;L/d\le4\;and\; at\; 30^{\circ}C\re $\alpha$$\leq$40^{\circ}C,\;L/d\le 6 $for X/d>0(downstream). The secondary maxima occurs at long distance from the stagnation point as the jet angle increases or the nozzle-to-surface distance decreases. The Y-axis Nusselt number distributions exhibit secondary maxima at Y/d=$\pm$2 for $0^{\circ}C\le a\le30^{\circ}C\; and\; L/d\le4, and \;for\;$\alpha$=40^{\circ}C$and L/d=2. The displacement of the maximum Nusselt number from the stagnation point increases as the jet angle increases or the nozzle-to-surface distance decreases and the maximum distance is about 0.67 times of the nozzle diameter. The ratio of the maximum Nusselt number to the stagnation Nusselt number increases as the jet angle increases.

  • A TEM study on proeutectoid ${\alpha}$ reaction at sub-eutectoid temperatures has been made in hypoeutectoid Ti-3.gw/o Co and Ti-5.2w/o Fe alloys. Widmanstatten ${\alpha}$ plates were formed in both alloys within the ${\beta}$ matrix with some modification of degenerate forms. These degenerate plates were formed by the sympathetic nucleation of ${\alpha}$ plates at ${\alpha}:{\beta}$ interphase boundaries. Three types of sympathetic nucleation, i.e., edge-to-edge, face-to-edge, face-to-face, were found in both alloys. The edge-to-edge sympathetically nucleated crystals formed a low-angle boundary between two crystals. The ${\alpha}:{\beta}$ interphase boundaries were found to be partially coherent interfaces which consist of regularly spaced misfit dislocations. The growth of these interphase boundaries were accomplished by the lateral movement of growth ledges. The intersection points of two ${\alpha}$ plates or the low angle boundaries which had formed by edge-to-edge sympathetic nucleation played a role as the potential sources of growth ledges during the growth of plate. The interfacial structures and the spatial morphologies of the degenerate proeutectoid ${\alpha}$ plates would be expected to influence the nucleation and growth of the succeeding eutectoid decomposition process.

  • 본 연구에서는 절삭가공시 생성되는 칩의 형상해석의 일환으로 2차원 절삭시 칩은 절삭날에 수직한 방향으로 공구경사면을 흘러간다는 기본적인 전제조건과 Kluft 등의 칩흐름각 예측에 대한 제안중 노으즈반경(nose radius) 및 기울임각의 영향을 중 첩시키고, 또한 절삭날에 연하여 미변형 칩두께(undeformed chip thickness)가 달라지 는 경우 칩흐름의 세기는 이에 비례한다는 Baart등의 가정을 도입하여 칩흐름각에 대 한 새로운 해석을 시도하였다.

3-D THERMAL-HYDRAULIC ANALYSIS FOR AIRFLOW OVER A RADIATOR AND ENGINE ROOM

  • In the present study, a numerical analysis of the three-dimensional heat transfer and fluid flow for a vehicle cooling system was developed. The flow field of the engine room between the grille and radiator was analyzed. The results show that, as the airflow inlet grille angle $\alpha$ is varied from $15^{\circ}$ to $-15^{\circ}$, the air flow rate compared with $\alpha=0^{\circ}$(horizontal) changes from -11.9% to +5.1%; while the heat flux from the radiator changes from -9.2% to +4.4%. When the airflow inlet bumper angle $\beta$ is varied from $-5^{\circ}$ to $+15^{\circ}$, the heat flux from the radiator compared with $\beta=0^{\circ}$(horizontal) increases up to +4.4%. When the airflow inlet grille angle $\alpha=-15^{\circ}$ and the bumper grill angle $\beta=+15^{\circ}$, the airflow rates and heat flux compared with($\alpha=0^{\circ}$, $\beta=0^{\circ}$) can be increased to +9.5% and +7.5%, respectively. The results indicate that the optimal angles for cooling efficiency are used.
