압력용기용 A516강의 저온피로크랙전파특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Fatigue Crack Growth of A516 Steel for Pressure Vessel at Low Temperatures)

  • In this study, CT specimens were prepared from ASTM A516 Gr. 65 which was used for pressure vessel plates for moderate and lower temperature service. Fatigue crack growth test was carried out in the environment of low temperature of $10^{circ}C, -10^{circ}C, -30${circ}C\;and\;-50^{circ}C$ and in the range of stress ratio of R=0.05 and 0.3 by means of opening mode displacement. Based on these test results, the characteristics from temperature and stress ration were shown as follows. 1) As the stress ratio, R increased da/dN and ${Delta}K$ of 2nd stage gradually decreased. And as R decreased, the effect of temperature became greater and greater. 2) As the temperature descended, da/dN decreased on a certain ${Delta}K$, and ${Delta}K$ did in a same da/dN. And the stress ratio, R exerted greater influence at the lower temperature. 3) The fatigue crack growth constant, m increased at $10^{circ}C$ and $-10^{circ}C$, snd decreased at $-30^{circ}C$ and $-50^{circ}C$ following the increment of stress ratio R. And m increased along with the reduction of temperature greatly decreased at $-30^{circ}C$ to come close to two(2).

  • The constant .DELTA.K fatigue tests are performed in SS41 and its weldments to investigate crack opening behavior and fatigue crack propagation behavior at each parts of weldment and its boundary layer. The weldments were annealed after welding for the purpose of relieving residual stress. Every weldments has notch at weld metal zone, and fatigue crack propagates from weld metal zone to vase metal zone perpendicular to weld line. The Laser ISDG method is used in order to determine the crack opening ratio, this method is more precise than indirect measurement method, and faster and easier than other direct measurement method.

  • The two-dimensional turbulent flow around the horn-type rudder has been examined in the present study by using the commercial code FLUENT. The standard ${\kappa}-{\epsilon}$ model is used as a closure relationship. The geometry of horn rudder is based on the NACA 0020 airfoil. The simulations for various angle attack (${\alpha}$) and yaw angle(${\delta}$) are carried out. The effect of Reynolds number is also investigated in this study. The cavitation is more possible when the yaw angle is $6^{\circ}$ and it is more serious as Reynolds number increases.

  • An axisymmetric Navier-Stokes procedure has been developed to analyze the pulse jet flow in a ceramic filter unit for the dust dislodging process. Using Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model as a closure relationship, the SIAF(Scalar Implicit Approximate Factorization) algorithm together with the ${\delta}^k-Correction$ iterative time marching scheme is adopted to solve the unsteady compressible Navier-Stokes equations. After some validation tests, the code has been applied to solve the pulse jet flow and examine the effects of geometry and reservoir pressure condition on the pressure level inside the filter unit. To avoid dealing with the uncertainty of such factors as the cohesion of the collected dust and the adhesion of the dust to the medium and also to simplify the analysis, the filter wall is assumed to be impermeable. The results for various test cases are presented.

  • Fine grid calculations are reported for the developing turbulent flow in a straight duct and a curved duct of square cross-section with a radius of curvature to hydraulic diameter ratio ${\delta}=R_c/H_H=3.357$ and a bend angle of 180 deg. A sequence of modeling refinements is introduced; the replacement of wall function by a fine mesh across the sublayer and a low Reynolds number second moment closure up to the near wall sublayer in which the non-linear return to isotropy model and the cubic-quasi-isotropy model for the pressure strain are adopted; and the introduction of a multiple source model for the exact dissipation rate equation. Each refinement is shown to lead to an appreciable improvement in the agreement between measurement and computation.

SUS 321 전자비임 용접부의 피로균열진전거동 (Fatigue Crack Propagation Behavior for Electron Beam Welded Joint of SUS 321)

  • Fatigue crack propagation behaviors and life prediction for SUS 321 plate and its electron beam weld metal were investigated using compact tension specimens. The larger the stress ratio is, the faster the crack propagates, but the variation of crack propagation rate decreases. The effect of stress ratio is greater in the slow crack propagation area than in the faster one. The crack propagation rate of electron beam weld metal is faster than that of base metal because of hardening, weld defect and residual stress in welding area. The crack propagation rate of transverse weld metal has a lower than that of base metal due to the effect of residual stress, but in the time of passing through welding area, has a higher rate. The crack propagation rate using $\Delta$K$_{eff}$ can be well plotted regardless of stress ratio. The fatigue life prediction method of considering crack closure more exactly predicts fatigue life than conventional one. conventional one.e.

시각기능 개선을 위한 시기능훈련이 시지각에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Visual Perception by Vision Therapy for Improvement of Visual Function)

  • 목적: 시각이상을 가진 아동을 대상으로 시기능훈련을 통한 시각기능이상의 개선 전후 시지각점수의 변화를 살펴보고 시지각에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 방법: 시각기능이상을 가진 13세 미만($8.75{\pm}1.66$)의 아동 23명을 대상으로 시기능훈련 전후에 시지각기능검사(TVPS_R; test of visual perceptual skills-revised)를 실시하여 시기능훈련에 따른 시각기능의 변화와 시지각 평가점수의 변화를 분석하였다. 결과: 시기능훈련을 통해서 원거리 PRC(positive relative convergence) 분리점은 평균 $3.39{\pm}2.59{\Delta}$(prism)에서 $13.87{\pm}6.04{\Delta}$로 증가되었고, 근거리 P.R.C 분리점은 평균 $5.48{\pm}3.42{\Delta}$에서 $18.44{\pm}7.58{\Delta}$로 증가하였다. NPC(near point of convergence)는 $25.87{\pm}7.33cm$에서 $7.48{\pm}2.83cm$로 개선되었고, NPA(near point of accommodation)는 $19.57{\pm}7.16cm$에서 $7.09{\pm}1.88cm$로 개선되었다. 시지각평가에서 시각기억분야를 제외하고는 대응차가 시각완성에서 $17.74{\pm}16.94$(p=0.000), 시각적순차기억에서 $15.65{\pm}17.11$(p=0.000), 배경식별에서 $13.65{\pm}16.63$(p=0.001), 형태향상성에서 $12.74{\pm}18.41$(p=0.003), 시각구별에서 $6.49{\pm}10.07$(p=0.005), 시각적공간지각에서 $4.17{\pm}9.33$(p=0.043) 순으로 개선되었고, 이를 종합한 시지각점수는 대응차가 $15.22{\pm}8.66$(p=0.000)로서 더욱 더 유의한 결과를 나타내었다. 결론: 시기능훈련을 통해서 시각기능의 개선과 시각기억분야를 제외한 시지각점수의 향상이 시각완성, 시각적순차기억, 배경식별, 형태향상성, 시각구별, 시각적공간지각 순으로 유의하게 나타났다. 따라서 시각기능향상을 위한 시기능훈련은 시각의 기능뿐만 아니라 시지각의 기능까지 영향을 미치는 것을 확인 할 수 있으며 시각훈련의 중요성을 인식 할 수 있었다.

  • Let X be a regular $T_1$-space such that each single point set is a $G_{\delta}$ set. Denot 'hereditarily closure-preserving' by 'HCP'. To consider a question of closed maps of S. Lin in [6], we improve some results of Foged in [1], and prove the following propositions. Proposition 1. $D\;=\;\{x{\in}X\;:\;\mid\{F{\in}\cal{F}:x{\in}F\}\mid{\geq}{\aleph}_0\}$ is discrete and closed if $\cal{F}$ is a collection of HCP. Proposition 2. $\cal{H}\;=\;\{{\cup}\cal{F}'\;:\;F'$ is an fininte subcolletion of $\cal{F}_n\}$ is HCP if $\cal{F}$ is a collection of HCP. Proposition 3. Let (X,$\tau$) have a $\sigma$-HCP k-network. Then (X,$\tau$) has a $\sigma$-HCP k-network F = ${\cup}_n\cal{F}_n$ such that such tat: (i) $\cal{F}_n\;\subset\;\cal{F}_{n+1}$, (ii) $D_n\;=\;\{x{\in}X\;:\;\mid\{F{\in}\cal{F}_n\;:\;x{\in}F\}\mid\;{\geq}\;{\aleph}_0\}$ is a discrete closed set and (iii) each $\cal{F}_n$ is closed to finite intersections.

용접부의 인장 및 압축잔류응력에 관한 피로균열 전파거동 (Fatigue Crack Propagation Behaviors on Tensile and Compression Residual Stresses in Weld Zone)

  • Effects of tensile and compression residual stresses in the welded SS41 and A17075-76 on fatigue crack propagation behavior are investigated when a crack propagates from residual stresses region. We propose the fatigue crack growth equation on tensile and compression residual stresses in welded metal. The results obtained in this experimental study are summarized as follows . 1 ) A fatigue crack growth equation which applied fatigue fracture behavior of the welded metal is proposed. (equation omitted) where, $\alpha$, $\beta$, ${\gamma}$ and $\delta$ are constants, and R$_{eff}$ is effective stress ratio [R$_{eff}$=(Kmin+Kres)/(Kmax+Kres)], Kcf is critical fatigue stress intensity factor. The constants are obtained from nonlinear least square method. The relation between crack length and number of cycles obtained by integrating the fatigue crack growth rate equation is in agreement with the experimental data. 2) The experimental results confirmed that the cause of crack extension and retardation by residual stresses has relation to the phenomenon of crack closure. 3) The relaxing trend of residual stresses by the crack propagation was greater In case of compressive residual stress than that of tensile residual stress in the welded metal.tal.

저온 압력용기용 SA516/60강의 피로균열 진전 속도에 미치는 응력비의 영향 (The Effect of Stress Ratio on Fatigue Crack Propagation Rate in SA516/60 Pressure Vessel Steel at Low Temperature)

  • The fatigue crack growth behavior of the SA516/60 steel which is used for pressure vessels was examined experimentally at room temperature $25^{\circ}C, -30^{\circ}C, -60^{\circ}C, -80^{\circ}C, -100^{\circ}C$ and -l2$0^{\circ}C$ with stress ratio of R=0.05, 0.1 and 0.3. Fatigue crack propagation rate da/dN related with stress intensity factor range ΔK was influenced by stress ratio in stable of fatigue crack growth (Region II) with an increase in ΔK. The resistance of fatigue crack growth at low temperature is higher compared with that at room temperature, which is attributed to the extent of plasticity-induced by compressive residual stress according to the cyclic loads. Fractographic examinations reveal that the differences of the fatigue crack growth characteristics between room and low temperatures are mainly explained by the crack closure and the strengthening due to the plasticity induced and roughness induced.
