  • The fact of smoking is prohibited in elevators. Smoking in elevators that contrary to business ethics, and it can be fatal to our children and women. In this paper, people who smoke in elevators is submitted to forensic evidence. Method is to extract the white bar at the mouth, biting people that smoke. ${\chi}^2$ histogram of scene change detection method is extracted.

  • The growth of two different fungal species, human pathogenic Cryptococcus neoformans and plant pathogenic Alternaria alternata were inhibited by a chitinase (Chi2) expressed in the autolysing tissue of Coprinellus congregatus. The cell wall thickness was reduced (up to 32%) in C. neoformans compared with that of normal cell, and polysaccharide fibers located outside of the cell wall were also severely removed. The hyphal growth of A. alternata on agar plate was stopped by the enzyme. The allergic inflammation induced by A. alternata was reduced by the enzyme reaction when compared with untreated control in a mouse model.

Formation and Color of the Spinel Solid Solution in CoO-ZnO-$Fe_2O_3$-$TiO_2$-$SnO_2$ System (CoO-ZnO-$Fe_2O_3$-$TiO_2$-$SnO_2$계 Spinel 고용체의 생성과 발색에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to research the formation and the color development of CoO-ZnO-Fe2O3-TiO2-SnO2 system for the purpose of synthesizing the spinel pigments which are stable at high temperature. After preparing CoO-ZnO-Fe2O3, in which CoO causes the color, as a basic composition, $\chi$CoO.(1-$\chi$)ZnO.Fe2O3 system, $\chi$CoO.(1-$\chi$)ZnO.TiO2 system and $\chi$CoO.(1-$\chi$)ZnO.SnO2 system were prepared with $\chi$=0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0 mole ratio respectively. The manufacturing was carried out at 128$0^{\circ}C$ for 90 minutes. These specimens were analyzed by the reflectance measurement and the X-ray diffraction analysis and the results were summarized as follows: 1. All of the specimens formed the spinel structure and were colored with stable yellow or blue. 2. As the content of CoO and Fe2O3 in the specimens being increased, the reflectance of each specimen was measured becoming lower and the colors were changed from yellow to greyish blue and from blue to dark blue. 3. As the substituting amount of Co2+ ion for Zn2+ ion in $\chi$CoO-ZnO-TiO2-SnO2 system being increased, the colors were changed from blue to greyish blue. The colors were changed from yellow to grayish green owing to the tetrahedral Co2+ ions being increased, the octahedral Co2+ ions being decreased with increasing the amount of Sn4+ ions. 4. CoO-ZnO-Fe2O3-TiO2-SnO2 system, in which Zn2+ was substituted with Co2+ and Fe3+ was substituted with Ti4+ and Sn4+, easily formed the spinel structure without regard to the amount of substitution or the ion owing to the selectivity of the coordination number: 4 of Zn2+, 4 of Co2+, 6 of Fe3+ or 6 of Ti4+ and Sn4+.

Factors Affecting Plastic Surgery Addiction Tendency Among Undergraduate Women (여대생의 미용성형 중독성향에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine influencing factors on plastic surgery addiction tendency. The participants, 223 undergraduate women, completed the ACSS, SATAQ, and MBSRQ. Data were collected from May, 2014 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, ANOVA, logistic regression analysis. Each of variables related to plastic surgery were analyzed between positive expectation group, addiction risk group, or addiction group compared to stable group. The prevalences of stable, positive expectation, addiction risk, and addiction group were 21.1%, 35.0%, 32.7%, and 11.2%, respectively. 45.7% had at least one personal plastic surgery. Personal experience of plastic surgery, high levels of ACSS (Consider), high levels of SATAQ (Internalization), and high levels of MBSRQ (Appearance Evaluation) were all associated with plastic surgery addiction tendency. The results of this study suggest that prevention of early plastic surgery, sociocultural influence and body image disturbances as well as safe guidance for plastic surgery are important in preventing the plastic surgery addiction.

  • 용액분무법으로 (100) MgO 단결정 기판위에 YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도박막을 제조하 였다. YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도 박막의 Y, Ba, Cu 원자의 상대적인 비는 EDX의 검출 한계내에 서 1 : 2 : 3이었고, 이는 분무 용액속의 금속이온의 비와 같았다. YBa2Cu3O7-x 초전도 박 막의 결정구조는 단일 상의 사방구조였으며, 기판에 수직인 c축의 방향으로 grain이 성장되 었고, 격자상수 c0는 11.678$\AA$였다. 95$0^{\circ}C$의 공기중에서 10분간 열처리한 박막의 Tc-on=100K, Tc-zero=80K, Jc=2.5 $\times$ 104A/cm2였고, 95$0^{\circ}C$의 흐르는 산소분위기에서 10분간 열처리한 박막의 Tc-on=103K, Tc-zero=80K, Jc=1.0 $\times$ 105A/cm2였다. 초전도 박막의 미세구 조, grain 크기와 grain 경계폭은 제조후 열처리(post-annealing) 시간과 가스 분위기에 강 한 영향을 받았다.

Purification and characterization of the chitinase from Bacillus subtilis JK-56 (Bacillus subtilis JK-56이 생산하는 chitinase isozyme의 정제와 특성 규명)

  • Chitin, a $\beta$-1,4 polymer of N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, is one of the most abundant organic compounds in nature. Chitinase (EC 3.2.1.14) is an enzyme that degrades chitin to chito-oligosaccharides, diacetyl rhitobiose and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. An extracellular chitinase-producing bacterial strain was isolated from soil and named to as Bacillus subtilis JK-56. Optimum culture condition of B. subtilis JK-56 for the production of chitinase was 1% chitin, 0.5% polypepton, 0.1% KCl, 0.05% MnS $O_4$.4$H_2O$, 37$^{\circ}C$, initial pH 7.0 and 40 hour culture time. When B. subtilis JK-56 was grown in the optimum medium, one major active band and two minor active bands were detected by native-PAGE and active staining of the gel. Among them, the major band was purified from the culture supernatant by 70% ammonium sulfate precipitation and native-PAGE with BIO-RAD Model 491 Prep-Cell and named as Chi-56A. Its molecular weight was estimated to be 53kDa monomer and the isoelectric point (pI) was pH 4.3. The pH and temperature for the optimum activity of Chi-56A were pH 6.0 and $65^{\circ}C$, respectively. Chi-56A was stable up to $65^{\circ}C$ and in alkaline region. Its $K_{m}$ value for colloidal chitin was 17.33g/L. HPLC analysis of the reaction products confirmed that Chi-56A was an exo type chitinase.e.

High Temperature Precipitation Behavior of High-Nitrogen Duplex Stainless Steel (고질소 2상 스테인리스강의 고온 석출거동)

  • Precipitation behavior of high-nitrogen duplex Fe-24Cr-7Mn-4Ni-4Mo-0.43N stainless steel aged at $850^{\circ}C$ was investigated using scanning transmission electron microscopy. Based on the analyses of selected area diffraction patterns, four kinds of precipitates (intermetallic sigma (${\sigma}$) and chi (${\chi}$), $Cr_2N$ and secondary austenite) were identified. At the ferrite/austenite phase boundary, the ${\sigma}$ phase and secondary austenite were formed via ${\alpha}{\rightarrow}{\gamma}+{\sigma}$ eutectoid reaction. The precipitation of $Cr_2N$ occurred at the austenite grain boundary as well as the interior of the ferrite. The intermetallic ${\chi}$ phase also formed within the ferrite and showed a cube-cube orientation relationship with the ferrite. Further aging produced a lamellar structure composed of $Cr_2N$ and austenite along the ferrite/austenite boundary and enhanced the precipitation of the ${\chi}$ phase. The crystallographic features of the precipitates were also examined in terms of the orientation relationship with the austenite or ferrite matrix.

  • 자율성 및 이동성 갖는 네트워크 구조의 하나인 MANET(Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks)은 각 node들은 그 특성에 따라서 clustering service을 한다. node의 전송과정 중 path access에 대하여 중요성 또한 강조되고 있다. 일반적인 무선 네트워크 상에서의 node들은 clustering을 하게 되는데 그 과정에서 발생되는 여러 가지 문제점을 가지고 전송이 이루어진다. 모든 node들이 송, 수신상의 전송 범위(Beam forming area)가지고 있으며, 이러한 각 node들의 전송범위 내에 전송이 이루어지는 전통적인 전송기술 mechanism을 찾는다. 이러한 전송상황에서의 송신하는 node와 수신된 node간에 발생되고 있는 중복성의 문제점으로 즉, 상호적용에 의한 네트워크 duplicate(overlapping)이 크게 우려가 되고 있다. 이러한 전송상의 전송 범위 중첩, node간의 packet 간섭현상, packet의 중복수신 및 broadcasting의 storming현상이 나타난다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상황정보의 속성을 이용한 계층적 상호 head node들의 접근된 위치와 연계되는 전송속도, 보존하고 있는 head node들의 에너지 source value, doppler효과를 통한 head node의 이동방향 등 분석한다. 분석된 방법으로 전송상의 계층적 path가 구성된 경험적 path 속성을 통한 네트워크 connectivity 신뢰성을 극대화 할 뿐만 아니라 네트워크의 전송 범위 duplicate을 사전에 줄일 수 있고 전송망의 최적화를 유지할 수 있는 기법의 하나인 상황정보를 이용한 ad hoc network의 ODDMRP(Ontology Doppler effect-based Dynamic Multicast Routing Protocol) clustering 기법을 제안한다.

Miscibility and Transesterification Reaction of blends of Polyarylate and Thermotropic Liquid Crystalline Polymer (Polyarylate와 열방성 액정고분자 블렌드의 상용성 및 에스터 교환반응에 대한연구)

  • 폴리아릴레이트(PAr)와 열방성 액정고분자(LCP)블렌드의 상용성과 두 고분자 사이 의 에스터 교환반응을 시차 주사 열분석기 (DSC)와 Fourier transform 적외선 분광분석기 (FT-IR spectroscopy)로 연구하였다. DSC를 이용하여 PAr-LCP 블렌드의 유리전이온도 (Tg)를 관찰한 결과, 두 개의 Tg가 관찰되었다. 측정된 Tg 결과로부터 블렌드 각 상에 녹아 있는 두성분의 상거동을 조사했으며 그결과 LCP가 PAR-rich 상에 녹아 들어간 양이 PAr 이 LCP-rich 상에 녹아 들어간 양보다 더 많음을 알수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 두 고분자 사 이에 부분적으로 상용성이 있음을 의미한다. 액정고분자의 이방성을 고려하여 PAr-LCP 블 렌드의 고분자-고분자 상호작용계수($\chi$12)는 0.069~0.076의 값으로 계산되었다. 두 고분자사 이의 에스터 교환반응를 조사하기 위하여 DSC내에서 열처리한 결과, 열처리 후에 PAr과 LCp의 Tg는 열처리하기 전에 비해 더 큰폭으로 두 Tg의중간값으로 이동하였다. 열처리한 PAr-LCP 블렌드를 FT-IR spectroscopy로 분석한 결과, 순수한 PAr과 LCP에 없는 새로운 에스터기의 특성피이크가 발견되었다. 이와 같은 열분석과 FT-IR spectroscopy 연구 결과 로부터 주어진 열처리 조건에서 PAr과 LCP 사이에 에스터 교환반응이 일어났음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Pentaerythritol에 대한 TLV-TWA로 10 mg/$m^3$이 권고되고 있으며, 이 수치는 망막이나 점막 염증 발생의 잠재성을 최소화하기 위해 설정되었다. Pentaerythritol은 모든 노출 경로에서 약한 독성을 유발하는 물질로 간주되고 있고, 작업환경이 정상적으로 관리되고 있으면 건강상의 큰 문제는 없는 것으로 알려져 있다. 일상적인 온도와 압력 조건 하에서 pentaerythritol의 증기 유해성은 거의 없다. 피부 (Skin), 감작제 (SEN), 발암성에 대한 경고주석과 TLV-STEL에 대한 기준은 유효한 자료가 충분히 제공되고 있지 않아 설정되지 않고 있다.
