Block copolymers of the general formula $[(-CO-R'-CO-HN-Ar-NH-CO-R'-CO)_xNH(CH_2)_3-(Me_2SiO)_y(CH_2)_3NH_2]_n$, [n=18.00 to 1175.0] where $R'=CH_2CH(CH_2GeCl_3)$;$CH_2CHGeCl_3CH_2$; and $Ar=-C_6H_4$;$-(o.CH_3C_6H_4)_2$;$-o.CH_3OC_6H_4)_2$;$-(o.CH_3C_6H_4)$ were prepared by a polycondensation reaction of polyamide containing a pendant trichlorogermyl group and terminal acid chloride $Cl(-CO-R'-CO-NH-Ar-NH-CO-R'-CO-)_xCl$ with aminopropyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane $H_2N(CH_2)_3(Me_2SiO)_y-(CH_2)_3NH_2]$, (PDMS). These polymers were characterized by elemental analysis, $T_g$, FT-IR, $^1H$-NMR, solid state $^{13}C$-NMR, and molecular weight determination. The thermal stability of these copolymers was examined using thermal analysis techniques, such as TGA and DSC. Their molecular weights as determined by laser light scattering technique ranged $5.13{\times}10^5$ to $331{\times}10^5\;g/mol$. These polymers display their $T_g$ in the range of 337 to $393^{\circ}C$ with an average decomposition temperature at $582^{\circ}C$.

Influences of crystallization time and $H_2O/Al_2O_3$ ratio of the reaction mixtures on the synthesis of AlPO$_4$-5 molecular sieve have been studied by X-ray powder diffraction, nitrogen adsorption, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and solid state $^{27}$Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS NMR) techniques. The degree of crystallinity of AlPO$_4$-5 follows a sigmoid pattem as crystallization time increases. The induction period is shorter than 1 h when the crystallization process is carried out at 150$^{\circ}$C. The conversion of reactants to product, AlPO$_4$-5, can be clearly observed, and all of the determined physical properties change abruptly after about 2 h. It is found that increase in $H_2O/Al_2O_3$ ratio of the reaction mixtures not only changes the crystal morphology from aggregates to hexagonal single crystals, but also results in the formation of longer AlPO$_4$-5 crystals.
We explore the effect of removal of organic ligand on the atomic configurations around oxygen in hydroxyl groups in amorphous silica gel (synthesized through hydrolysis of $SiCl_4$ in diethyl-ether) using high resolution $^{17}O$ solid state NMR spectroscopy. $^1H$ and $^{29}Si$ MAS NMR spectra for amorphous silica gel showed diverse hydrogen environments including water, hydroxyl groups (e.g., hydrogen bonded silanol, isolated silanol), and organic ligands (e.g., alkyl chain) that may interact with surface hydroxyls in the amorphous silica gel, for instance, forming silica-organic ligand complex (e.g., Si-$O{\cdots}R$). These physically and chemically adsorbed organic ligands were partly removed by ultrasonic cleaning under ethanol and distilled water for 1 hour. Whereas $^{17}O$ MAS NMR spectra with short pulse length ($0.175{\mu}s$) at 9.4 T and 14.1 T for as-synthesized amorphous silica gel showed the unresolved peak for Si-O-Si and Si-OH structures, the $^{17}O$ MAS NMR spectra with long pulse length ($2{\mu}s$) showed the additional peak at ~0 ppm. The peak at ~0 ppm may be due to Si-OH structure with very fast relaxation rate as coupled to liquid water molecules or organic ligands on the surface of amorphous silica gel. The observation of the peak at ~0 ppm in $^{17}O$ MAS NMR spectra for amorphous silica gel became more significant as the organic ligands were removed. These results indicate that the organic ligands on the surface of amorphous silica gel interact with oxygen atoms in Si-OH and provide the information about atomic structure of silanol and siloxane in amorphous silica gel. The current results could enhance the understanding of dehydration mechanism of diverse silicates, which is known as atomic scale origins of intermediate depth (approximately, 70~300 km) earthquakes in subduction zone.
The immobilization of APTMS(3-(2-aminoethylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane) and AAPTMS(3-(2-(2-aminoethyl)aminoethylanino)propyltrimethoxysilane) on the surface of high quality mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 and MCM-48 have been confirmed by F.T.-IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, 29Si solid state NMR, and a surface polarity measurement using Reichardt's dye. The formation of metal (Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), and Cu(Ⅱ)) complexes by immobilized aminosilanes have been investigated by photoacoustic spectroscopy(PAS). The assignment of UV-Vis. PAS bands makes it possible to identify the structure of metal complexes within mesoporous molecular sieves. Co(Ⅱ) ion may be coordinated mainly in a tetrahedral symmetry by two APTMS onto MCM-41, and in an octahedral one by two AAPTMS. Both Ni(Ⅱ) and Cu(Ⅱ) coordinated by aminosilanes within MCM-41 form possibly the octahedral complexes such as [Ni(APTMS)2(H20)2]2+, [Ni(AAPTMS)2]2+, [Cu(APTMS)2(H2O)2]2+, and [Cu(AAPTMS)(H2O)3]2+, respectively. The PAS band shapes of complexes onto MCM-48 are similar to those of corresponding MCM-41 with the variation of PAS intensity. Most of metal ion(Ⅱ) within MCM-41 and MCM-48 are coordinated by aminosilanes without the impregnation on the surface.
H-montmorillonite was modified by interlayer surface silylation using 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and dodecylamine in ethanol without a pre-swelling step. Dodecylamine acts as a gallery expander and silylation catalyst. The evaporation of ethanol from the dispersion yields well-ordered silylated montmorillonites with large basal spacing between 1.50 and 4.20 nm. Solid-state $^29Si$ CP MAS NMR of the silylated samples showed $Q^2\;and\;Q^3$ signals as well as $T^2\;and\;T^3$ signals. The increase in the relative intensity of $Q^3\;for\;Q^2$ and the appearance of $T^2\;and\;T^3$ signals was attributed to the grafting of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane to the interlayer surface silanol groups.
A new series of nickel(II), cobalt(II)/(III) and copper(II) complexes of 14, 15 and 16-membered of macrocyclic ligands have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-VIS and $^1H-NMR$ spectra, magnetic susceptibilities, conductivities, DTA and ESR measurements. Molar conductances in DMF solution indicate that, the complexes are nonelectrolytes except (9-12) complexes. The electronic spectra show that, all complexes are square planar or distorted octahedral geometry. The ESR spectra of solid complexes (4), (8) and (11) show square planar of axial type symmetry $(d_{x2-y2})$ with considerable covalent bond character. However, complex (12) shows a spectrum of octahedral geometry with $d_{z2}$ ground state. Complex (12) shows exploitation in reducing the amount of electron adducts formed in DNA during irradiation with low radiation products.

In this paper, we synthesized poly(N-(2-4-imidazolyl) ethyl) maleimide-alt-1-octadecene(IMI-O) polymer that can have function group and improvement of mechnical strength and then confirmed the possibility of molecular device made by LB method. Evaluation of LB film have been processed such as the technique of EA, $^{1}$H-NMR, FT-IR. Also, the deposition status was observed by SEM and Metal/Insulator/Metal(MIM) device was fabricated for investigation of electric properties. In our experimental results. The surface pressure for the solid state was investigated to 20~35[dyne/cm] by the $\pi$ -A isotherm and the limiting area was about 40 ~45 ($\AA$$^2$/molecule). The deposition status of LB films was confirmed by SEM. The conductivity of LB film was found to be 10$^{-14}$ ~10$^{-13}$ [S/cm] by I-V characteristic.
The $BaTiO_3$ powders and thin films were prepared by an alkoxide modified sol-gel process (polymerization-complex route) using ethylene glycol. The stable starting (Ba-Ti)-mixed metal organic sol was made by addition of acetylacetone. The $BaTiO_3$ powders, which had a particle size of 40~77 nm, were crystallized from an amorphous to a tetragonal phase on annealing at 700 and $1100^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. From FT-IR, solid-state $^{13}C$ CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffractometry, the trace of the Ba-Ti-oxycarbonate phase first appeared at $400^{\circ}C$. Hydrolyzed sol was spin coated on a quartz wafer at 3500 rpm for 60 s and pyrolyzed at $1100^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. After heat treatment, the coated layer became dense and smooth.
$Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(OTf)\;(OTf=CF_3SO_3^-)$ readily reacts with various amines to afford cationic amine complexes $[Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(amine)](OTf)\;(amine=NH_3,\;NHMe_2,\;NHC_4H_8,\;NH_2Ph,\;NH_2(Tol-p))$ in high yields. These complexes have been fully characterized by IR, $^1H-,\;^{19}F{^1H}-,\;and\;^{31}P{^1H}-NMR$ spectroscopy, and elemental analyses. Reaction of $Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(OTf)$ with acrylonitrile quantitatively produced the ${\pi}$-olefinic complex $Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(CH_2=CHCN)](OTf)$ which is only stable in solution in the presence of acrylonitrile. Attempt at isolating this complex in the pure solid state was failed due to partial decomposition into $Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(OTf)$ The equilibrium constants $(K_{eq}=[Pt(PCP)-(NH_2R)^+][CH_2=CHCN]/[Pt(PCP)(CH_2=CHCN)^+][NH_2R]:\;[Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(CH_2=CHCN)]^++NH_2R{\rightleftarrows}[Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(NH_2R)]^++CH_2=CHCN=Ph,\;p-tolyl)$ were calculated to be 0.28 (for R = Ph) and 3.1 (R = p-tolyl) at $21^{\circ}C$. The relative stability of the ${\sigma}$-donor amine versus the ${\pi}$-olefinic acrylonitrile complex has been found largely dependent upon the amine-basicity $(pK_b)$, implicating that acrylonitrile practically competes with amine in the platinum coordination sphere. On the contrary to the formation of the acrylonitrile complex, no reaction of $Pt(2,6-(Cy_2PCH_2)_2C_6H_3)(OTf)$ with other olefins such as ethylene, styrene and methyl acrylate was observed.
