핵폭탄의 공포에 대하여 이로부터 인류를 구하려는 노력의 일환으로 핵확산 금지조약이 있고 국제원자력기구 같은 기관을 통하여 핵의 평화적 이용을 촉진하는 동시에 핵무기의 효과적 통제를 꾀하고 있다. 그런데 핵무기의 가공할 위력이 실제 전쟁에서 쓰여지고 목격된 것은 제2차 세계대전 말기에 일본에 투하된 두발의 핵폭탄 밖에 없다. 지금도 핵의 위력을 표현할 때 히로시마형 폭탄의 몇배라는 식으로 표시되는 것은 실제의 파괴력을 보여준 기회가 히로시마와 나가사끼의 두곳 뿐이기 때문이다. 북한과 미국사이에 핵무기 개발 중지를 놓고 줄다기리식 협상이 2년을 끈끝에 타결을 보았지만 동 협정의 실현까지는 아직도 멀고 험한 길이 남겨져 있다. 그런 의미에서 핵무기의 실상을 알기 위해 미군에 의한 핵공격의 과거를 한번 더듬어 보는 것도 뜻이 있을 것 같아 두번으로 나누어 핵폭탄 공격실기를 게재한다.

폭약은 탄광에서 석탄이나 각종 광물을 캐거나, 건설토목현장에서 암반 제거를 위해서 주로 사용되었다. 전쟁에서 군사용으로 파괴를 위한 목적으로 사용되기도 하였으나, 최근의 동서화해 분위기와 남북통일이 무르익는 시대적 조류로 볼때 더이상 파괴용으로의 사용은 제어될 것이고 이제는 평화를 위하여, 건설을 위하여, 산업발전을 위하여 더 많이 사용되어지고 응용되어질 것이다. 작금의 첨단산업의 발달과 산업의 고도화로 우리 화약 업계에도 첨단발파기술의 개발에 많은 관심과 연구.개발을 진행중이다. 첨단발파기술의 응용사례를 소개하면, 건축토목 분야에서 노후 고층빌딩 및 굴뚝의 철거, 노후 교량 및 공장시설의 철거등에 활용되고 있으며, 위락서비스 분야에서 응용으로는 불꽃놀이를 들 수 있다. 최근에는 첨단 과학 장비를 이용하여 각종 꽃불의 모양이 음악과 미술등 예술적인 기능을 기억시킨 컴퓨터를 활용하여 보다 고차원의 공예술품(공학-예술)을 만들어낸다. 아울러 각종 기공식 발파시에도 예술적 기능과 웅장함을 가미하여 그 화려함을 극치에 다다르게 한다. 그외에도 로켓트 발사추진제등의 우주 개발에의 응용, 석유시추등 해양개발에의 응용, 각종 공학 실험연구에의 응용, 폭발 가공에의 응용, 의학에의 응용, 철강산업에의 응용 등으로 그 숫자를 이제는 일일이 나열하기 힘들 정도로 광범위해졌다.

지구상의 유일한 분단국가인 우리나라는 항시 전쟁의 위험에 노출되어있고 이로 인해 세계적으로 안정과 평화에 대한 의구심을 초래하고 있다. 또한 이와 같은 문제로 인해 국가 이미지 실추 및 국가산업 저하를 초래하고 있다. 특히 김정일 국방위원장의 건강 상태는 세계적으로 관심의 대상이 되고 있는 것으로 이에 대한 분석은 국가 안보에 중요한 요소로 작용하고 있다. 그러나 폐쇄되어 있는 북한의 특성상 이를 파악하기가 용이한 일은 아니다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 한의학의 진단법인 망진법을 적용하여 최근 공개된 김정일 국방위원장의 얼굴 영상에서 안면 분석을 수행하여 병색 여부 및 최근에 초점이 되고 있는 심장과 신장 부위에 대한 찰색을 수행하였다.

세계 최대의 식품메이커 유닐리버(Unilever Ltd.)의 72년도 매상고는 88억 6천 4백44만불. 원화로 따져 3초 5천 4백 56억이 넘는 엄청난 거액이다. 유닐리버는 세계유지원료의 1/3을 매입, 세계식용유지의 반이상 공급하고 있다. 4대주력상품인 마아가린, 비누, 공업유지, 식료품 가운데 마아가린은 전유럽 수요의 75$\%$, 비누는 영국시장의 60$\%$를 장악하고 있다. 전통상품인 마아가린과 비누가 전체 매상의 약 60$\%$를 차지하고 있으나 근래에 와서는 60개국에 뿌리박고 있는 6백에 이르는 자회사와 2백 50개 직영공장을 통해 맥주, 자전거, 합판, 해운 등 경영다각화에도 힘을 쏟고 있다. 그러나 기본경영방향을 불황이나 전쟁에 영향을 받지 않는 식품을 중심으로 한 평화산업에 중점을 두고 해외시장에 진출하고 있는 것이 분명하다.

Clausewitz’s theory of war can be divided between the theory of conduct of war and the theory of preparations for war, and the theory of war that Clausewitz means, is the theory of conduct of war. But before Clausewitz, men regarded a theory of preparations for war as the theory of war. The theory of preparations for war concerns generally about the material side of war, but not its spiritual aspect. The activity of war is basically a human spiritual and psychological action. And because the war is dangerous, the anxiety occurs and diverse human feelings, for example courage, have been required. Also the informations in war is normally very uncertain, so an insight of the commander is in war very needed. The Theory of war has to consider this spiritual aspect. To end the war and to acquire the peace, an excellent talent of commander is necessary. And it is a genius. Men who are difficult to move but have strong feelings, these are the men who are best able to be a genius.

During the Korean War, China dispatched 'the Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Comfort' group to North Korea 3 times. The purpose of the comfort group was to comfort the Chinese People's Supporting Soldiers and Joseon People's Army fighting the US imperial forces and at the same time, inform them of China's situation to booster their morale. Another purpose was to promote the socialism construction projects in the new China. Namely, China wanted to propagate various heroic achievements of the Chinese soldiers and accuse the US imperialist soldiers and thereby, inspire Chinese people's international sense and patriotism for the new China to mobilize the people for the war and promote the construction of the new China effectively. The comfort group consisted of diverse classes (laborers, farmers, intellectuals, women, students, soldiers, etc.) in various areas such as politics, military, ethnic, society, culture, education, etc. Their activities were conducted in various forms such as consolation, legwork, meeting and performances. Their activities were full of anger and compassion, sacrifice and emotion, battle and romance, impression and comfort. Such emotion was delivered intact to the Chinese people through the comfort group's propaganda activities back home in China. The Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Comfort' group revealed their identity of socialists New China in terms of their organization and their specific performances. Their identity claimed for democracy and equality, internationalism empathizing world peace and solidarity of the proletariats, and patriotism supporting the communists regime. The comfort group played a role in propagating such identity of new China effectively by crossing the border. It was a political and cultural performance that stipulated the political meaning of the Anti-US and Pro-Joseon Chosun Comfort' group

This paper is designed to deal with the gaps and differences between the two Koreas, which have gradually increased since the Korean War. The purpose of this study, in particular, is to assess the digital and AI gap between the two parts of the peninsula in the emerging 4^th industrial revolution era that is rapidly innovating the industrial structures, and to present a cooperation plan for the realization of a peace economy and economic prosperity of the Korean Peninsula in the future. In this study, policy alternatives for assessing and bridging the digital gap between South and North were drawn using the comprehensive policy (model) for closing the digital divide, which was one of Korea's past informatization policies. The derived alternatives are meaningful in that they can spark discussions for building the AI-driven society that realizes the integrated economy of the two Koreas complying with the future industrial structure.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the tendency and characteristics in armed conflict in post-Cold War era on the basis of Uppsala conflict data program(UCDP) datasets. The collapse of bipolarity and the end of cold War proved a watershed in the dynamics of international conflict. The major shift in the nature of conflict has been away from interstate conflict, leaving intrastate conflict. Major powers have acted carefully against each other and been willing to understand the interests of other to avoid military confrontation and crash. As the means of termination for armed conflict, there is a stronger emphasis on the peace settlement like peace agreement and ceasefire agreement than military victory. Many intrastate conflicts become internationalized, through the involvement of diaspora communities, or regionalized through a spillover effect into neighboring countries. Since the end of the Cold War, the UN has taken a much more active role in conflict management and conflict resolution.

This paper study about the Perception of Orient in Huangseong-Shinmun(皇城新聞). The Orient as a Non-Western is recognized as a geographical concept which represented Japanized culture and which breaked up Sinocentrism. Huangseong-Shinmun thought Korea, China, and Japan as the main countries which constitute Orient. And this paper regarded these three countries which is Yellow race are main area which countervail Western. Especially this paper thought Japan as the leading power which fulfilled Oriental peace. So Huangseong-Shinmun theorized nations of the same race, region and language(同種同州同文論). But Orientalism is just means which Japan used to rationalized the imperialistic invasion. Nevertheless Huangseong-Shinmun thought that periods are the era of racial competition. This is the limit Huangseong-Shinmun did'nt recognize the strategy which Japan concealed the imperialistic invasion.
