Census data are usually provided at an aggregated level. However, the aggregated data are essentially arbitrary geographical areas. The areal units used to report census data have no natural or meaningful geographical identity. Unfortunately, this means that analyses of these area aggregations may be conditional upon the set of zones, which are presented. This effect is known as the modifiable areal unit problem (MAUP) and has two related aspects. First, scale effect is the variation in numerical results that occurs due to the number of zones used in an analysis. Second, results may also differ between different ways of aggregating exactly the same data to the same scale; this may be called the aggregation effect (Openshaw, 1984). This study aims to provide a practical tool for the study of MAUP. I have created a set of 91 areal units based on 280 basic units in Nonhyun-2 dong to solve zoning problem and scale problem. We can easily recognize the importance of areal classification as statistics were different according to areal classification.
The major reason that spatial data warehousing has attracted a great deal of attention in business GIS in recent years is due to the wide availability of huge amounts of spatial data and the imminent need for turning such data into useful geographic information. Therefore, this research has been focused on designing and implementing the pilot tested system for spatial decision making. The purpose of the system is to predict targeted marketing area by discriminating the customers by using both transaction quantity and the number of customer using credit card in department store. Focused on the analysis methodology, the case study is aiming to use GIS and clustering for knowledge discovery. The system is a key section of the research of multi-dimensional and spatio-temporal analysis in the internet environment.
As an emerging technology in Computer graphics areas, SVG(Scalable Vector Graphic) makes it possible to make use of Vector graphics for servicing maps in basic internet browsing environment. SVG based thematic map Internet GIS system implemented by this research is free of special server side GIS mapping system and client side extra technology. It provides high-quality vector map which can interact with the user, template map which can be used for other purpose, glance the future map based on Webservices technologies. Many good characteristics of SVG in mapping at computer screen and reusability of SVG document provide new era of visualzation of geographic information.
Detection in remotely sensed images can be conducted spatially, spectrally or both [2]. If the images have high spatial resolution, materials can be detected by using spatial and spectral information, unless we can't see the object embedded in a pixel. In this paper, we intend to solve the limit of spatial resolution by using the hyperspectral image which has high spectral resolution. Therefore, the Linear Spectral Mixing(LSM) Model which is sub-pixel detection algorithm is used to solve this problem. To find class Endmembers, we applied Geometric Model with MNF(Minimum Noise Fraction) transformation. From the result of sub-pixel detection algorithm, we can see the detection of water is satisfied and the object shape cannot be extracted but the possibility of material existence can be identified.
GML 데이터는 공간 및 비공간 정보를 동시에 갖는 GIS 데이터의 특징과 구조적(structured)인 XML 데이터의 성격을 함께 가지고 있어 일반적인 DBMS에 저장되기 힘들다. XML 저장이 가능한 데이터베이스는 공간데이터 처리 능력이 부족하고, 공간데이터베이스는 XML 데이터를 저장하기 어렵다. 본 연구는 GML 데이터가 공간데이터베이스에 저장될 수 있도록 GML 응용스키마로부터 공간데이터베이스 스키마를 모델링하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 객체관계형 데이터베이스의 특징인 복합 애트리뷰트(composite attribute)와 추상데이터타입(ADT)을 이용한 GML 스키마의 맵핑 규칙을 정하였다. 맵핑 규칙은 OGC SQL 스키마에 적합하도록 GML 데이터의 공간 정보와 비공간 정보를 분리하여 저장시킨다. 따라서 저장된 데이터는 공간데이터베이스가 제공하는 공간 연산자/함수 및 인덱스를 통하여 다양한 공간/비공간 질의가 빠르게 수행될 수 있다.
GIS는 공간과 관련된 문제를 해결하는데 있어 좋은 도구가 되며 도시성장 예측과 같은 문제에 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 수도권 내에 위치한 수원지역을 대상으로 1960년대부터 1990년대까지의 도시성장에 관한 데이터베이스를 구축하고 도시의 물리적인 확산에 초점을 맞추어 모형의 핵심이 되는 공간 연관규칙을 추출하였다. 공간 연관규칙의 추출을 위해 GIS 공간 분석 기능과 데이터마이닝 기법을 이용하였으며, 규칙을 기반으로 모형을 작성하여 도시성장을 분석 및 예측하고 UGM(Urban Growth Model)과 비교하였다.
Most of current gCRM systems have focused on analysis of data using location information about customers. Many technological preconditions are required to implement functions for analysis in the gCRAM systems, but it isn't easy to satisfy them and this is preventing the expansion of gCRM. Therefore, some alternatives in which companies can satisfy preconditions for gCRM more easily or reduce the number of them need to be suggested. As one of those alternatives, we suggested new design of gCRM system which is combined with mobile CRM and uses new technology like P2P LBS. In this paper, we reviewed the present status of gCRM, P2P and LBS, and then proposed and implemented a prototype as a case about the expansion of application areas of gCRM.
필지는 지번, 지목, 경계, 면적이라는 기본적인 구성요소를 가지고 있다. 그 가운데 토지의 가치는 대부분 지목에 의해 결정된다. 때문에 많은 수익이나 산출이 기대되는 용도로 토지를 이용하려는 욕구의 증가로 토지이용의 전환이 많이 이루어지고 있다. 결국, 이것은 토지의 불법형질변경, 난개발 등의 원인이 되고 있고, 지목불부합의 발생을 가중시키고 있다. 그러나 이에 대한 대처나 정리는 상대적으로 미흡한 편이다. 본 연구에서는 고해상도 위성영상과 수치지형도를 이용하여 지목을 기반으로 한 필지별 토지이용/토지피복을 분류할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고, 이렇게 분류된 필지별 토지이용/토지피복도와 편지지적도상의 지목을 비교·분석하여 지목불부합 정도를 통계적으로 측정하였다. 그 결과 연구지역의 불부합 정도에 대한 통계적인 해석이 가능하여, 향후 지적불부합지를 정량적으로 자동 해석할 수 있는 가능성을 제시할 수 있었다.
The Location Based Services comprised GIS and Telecommunication allow users to receive various services based on their geographic location. It is need to legislation to encourage the provision and use of location information by providing privacy protection to users. But the contents of the legislation proposed by Korean government have problems conflicted between protection of a person's location information and invigoration of location-based services. The purpose of this study is to search complementary measures for privacy protection of location information from From a viewpoint of effective management strategy for geographic information.
