The Effect of Psychological Independence of College Students on the Entrepreneurial Intention -Mediating Effect of Entrepreneurship and Moderating Effect of Sex-

전문대학생의 심리적 독립이 창업의도에 미치는 영향 -기업가정신의 매개 및 성별의 조절효과-

Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention of college students and the importance of entrepreneurship through empirical analysis. Therefore, In June 2018. A total of 214 samples were collected from 220 collected samples. The main findings are as follows: Firstly, psychological independence has a positive (+) effect on the entrepreneurship, but it cannot make a direct impact on the entrepreneurial intention. Secondly, It is confirmed that the entrepreneuship has a significant positive effect on each of the entrepreneurial intention. Thirdly, it is confirmed that entrepreneurship has a fully mediating role in the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention. Fourthly, It is confirmed that the higher the entrepreneurship among male students, the stronger entrepreneurial intention, but there is no sexual difference in the relationship between psychological independence and entrepreneurship, psychological independence and entrepreneurial intention. In this paper, it has been confirmed that it is important to create a preceding factor of the entrepreneurial intention like psychological independence.

지금까지 대학생을 대상으로 기업가정신이 창업의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 선행연구는 다수 확인되고 있으나 심리적 독립의 중요성에 주목한 연구는 많지 않다. 본 논문은 전문대학생들의 심리적 독립과 창업의도 간의 관련성과 기업가정신의 중요성을 실증분석을 통해 살펴본 연구이다. 이를 위해 서울 및 수도권 전문대에 재학중인 학생 240여명을 대상으로 2018년 6월 설문조사를 실시하였다. 회수된 설문지 220부 가운데 결측치가 있거나 불성실한 응답지 6부를 제외하고 총 214부를 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심리적 독립은 기업가정신에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있으나 창업의도에는 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 못하고 있음이 확인되었다. 둘째, 기업가정신은 창업의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 기업가정신이 심리적 독립과 창업의도 간의 관계에서 완전매개역할을 하고 있음이 확인되었다. 넷째, 남학생은 여학생보다 기업가정신이 높을수록 창업의도가 강해지고 있음이 확인되었다. 그러나 심리적독립과 기업가정신, 심리적 독립과 창업의도 간의 관계에서는 성별차이가 없었다. 본 논문은 기존의 연구와 달리 부모의 창업경험 및 학력 등의 영향이 거의 없이 높은 심리적 독립 중 높은 자신신뢰 등 적극적 창업동기를 가진 대학생들의 기업가정신이 높을 뿐만 아니라, 심리적 독립이 직접적으로 창업의도에 영향을 주지는 않지만 기업가정신을 매개로 잠재적 창업능력과 의지를 발현할 수 있는 체계적인 창업교육 커리큘럼을 만들어서 창업의도의 선행요소들 개발하는 것이 중요하다는 점을 확인해 주고 있다.
