Factors Influencing on Job Stress of Regional Information Communication Employees

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate job stress, job satisfaction and health behaviors of workers in information and communication industry. The data were collected using questionnaire from 138 workers who the information and communication industry in the J city. The analysis of the data was done through SPSS 20.0/window statistical analysis. Upon examining the correlation between Job stress and job satisfaction, the correlation was significant(r=-.69, p<.001), job stress and sleeping showed a significant relationship although small. Smoking and drinking alcohol of health behaviors were not significant. The result of the multiple regression indicates the job satisfaction(${\beta}=-.69$, p<.001) predict 47%(F=121.8, p<.01). Based on the results of this study, we propose a systematic health promotion program that can improve job satisfaction through job stress management instate of management for health habits of the workers who work in the information communication industry.

본 연구는 일개 지역 정보통신 직장인의 직무 스트레스, 직무만족도 및 건강행태 간의 관계를 확인하고 직무 스트레스에 영향을 주는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구 대상자는 J시에 소재한 K회사에 종사하는 138명 근로자이며, 자료 수집은 2017년 4월 17일부터 4월 30일까지 실시하였다. 수집된 자료 분석은 SPSS 20.0을 이용하였다. 직무 스트레스와 직무만족도는 유의미한 역 상관관계가 나타났고(r=-.69, p<.001), 직무스트레스와 수면장애는 유의미한 상관관계가 있었지만 상관계수가 적었다(r=.23, p<.001). 개인의 건강행태 중 흡연, 음주정도는 유의미한 상관관계를 나타내지 않았다. 직무 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 직무만족도였으며(${\beta}=-.69$, p<.001), 47%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다(F=121.8, p<.001). 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 정보통신 직장인의 직무 스트레스를 줄이기 위해서는 개인적 건강행태의 변화보다는 조직적 차원의 직무 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 할 것으로 생각된다.
