르 꼬르뷔제의 건축작품과 프뢰벨 놀이교육 비교연구

A Comparative Study between the Architecture Works of Le Corbusier and the Play-Based Education of Fr$\ddot{o}$bel

초록

The educational philosophy of Fr$\ddot{o}$bel had enormous impacts on early modernist architects. This study thus set out to investigate connections between the architectural works of Le Corbusier and the play-based education of Fr$\ddot{o}$bel through comparison and reilluminate the architectural works of Le Corbusier, who has much influence on modern architecture. The five main findings were as follows: first, Le Corbusier applied the architectural play of 3.4.5.6 Spielgabe to his architectural works with more interest in the process of their cubes converging into each box rather than the play itself. Second, the way he placed a core at the center and a unit space in the surroundings in the plane of his early works is similar to the aesthetic form that emphasizes centrality in the pattern play of Spielgabe. Third, the influence of occupation related to aesthetic forms is found in the elevation of his architecture. Fourth, Modular is a principle in which the overall content of Fr$\ddot{o}$bel's educational play including the cube convergence of Spielgabe boxes and the aesthetic forms of pattern play is integrated. Finally, Breeze Soleil is a means to comprehensively apply Fr$\ddot{o}$bel's play-based education that emphasized geometric formativity and his philosophy of education that dreamed of organic integration.
