Abstract

Pitch gain-scheduling is essential for pitch control of wind turbine system. There might be some methods of pitch gain-scheduling according to feedback signals. In this paper, an 1-mass model representing pitch system of a 2.75 MW wind turbine is considered and simulation results on pitch gain-scheduling using wind speed or pitch angle as a feedback signal are presented and compared through step input of wind speed and a real wind turbulence.
