Abstract

This paper describes on the dynamic characteristic analysis of a inverter-fed linear synchronous motor with surface type permanent magnet using time-stepped finite element method. We can certify that the proposed simulation method can be used at the dynamic characteristic analysis of other inverter-fed linear motor.
