트롤 어구에 부착된 쐐기형 해파리 분리배출장치의 성능 연구 (The performance of a wedge type jellyfish excluder device inserted in a trawl net)

  • In order to describe the performance of a wedge type jellyfish excluder device, a series of fishing experiments was carried out in the coastal areas of Yokji Island, southern Korea in 2009, using a trawl net with a cover net. The body size and weight of each individual (fish or jellyfish) caught in the experimental fishing were measured. In the case of giant jellyfish the bell diameter and weight were measured. The catch species was composed of giant jellyfish (Nemopilema nomurai), silver croaker (Pennahia argentata), yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactics), finespotted flounder (Pleuronichthys cornutus), largehead hairtail (Trichiuruslepturus), melon seed (Psenopsisanomala) and so on. The weight ratio and individual ratio of total fish escaped through the outlet of the excluder device were 0.322 and 0.320, respectively. The weight ratios of giant jellyfish excluded from the trawl net ranged from 0.740 to 0.921 (average 0.852/haul). It means that the wedge type jellyfish excluder device performed well and allowed the most of the giant jellyfish to exclude through the trawl net. The approximately 70% of fish entered in trawl net was caught. The wedge type excluder device needs some improvements to minimize the fish escape from the trawl nets in the future.

Factors Affecting the Wintering Habitat of Major Fishery Resources in Southwestern Korean Waters

  • We investigated the temperature and salinity effects on the major fish species in the wintering grounds based on trawl surveys and oceanographic observations in the southwestern waters of Korea during March-early April in 2002-2003. The influence area of warm Kuroshio water was limited to the southwestern area of Korea in 2003 with a range of $7.7-16.3^{\circ}C$, 32.54-34.70 of salinity, wider than that of 2002. The number of fish species and density of major fish species in 2003 were higher than in 2002. Geographical estimation showed high proportions of species number and catches in the areas around Jeju Islands, southwestern waters and the southeastern coast of Korea. Five species; silver pomfret (Pam pus echinogaster), hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus), anchovy (Engraulis japonicus), Small yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis) and yellow goosefish (Lophius litulon) were most abundant, composing above 60% of the total catch in 2002 and 2003. More than 50% of catch in the major fish species were mostly distributed in the range of $9.5-11.0^{\circ}C$ of temperature and 33.1-33.9 of salinity. Non-parametric estimation for the major species showed the 1st mode around $10^{\circ}C$ and the 2nd mode at $8-9^{\circ}C$ in 2002 and $11-14^{\circ}C$ in 2003. Among major fish species, hairtail was principally composed of juveniles, and larger individuals were caught in southeastern waters. These results are considered to be helpful for the area-based fishery management strategy for the wintering grounds of the Yellow Sea and coastal waters of Korea.

시판 반염건 능성어(Epinephelus septemfasciatus)와 영상가이석태(Pseudotolithus typus)의 위생학적 품질 특성 (Sanitary Quality of Commercial Salted-dried Convict Grouper Epinephelus septemfasciatus, and Longneck Croaker Pseudotolithus typus)

  • This study investigated the sanitary characteristics of commercial salted semi-dried convict grouper Epinephelus septemfasciatus (SSD-CG) and longneck croaker Pseudotolithus typus (SSD-LC) and suggested standards for salted semi-dried fish (SSD-F), based on the domestic standards for salted mackerel (Scomber japonicus or kwamegi) and salted dried yellow corvenia (Pseudosciaena manchurica), and sanitary characteristics of commercial SSD-F. For the commercial SSD-CG and SSD-LC, respectively, the moisture content ranged from 64.6-76.1 and 65.7-77.5%, salinity from 2.7-8.2 and 1.5-4.9%, volatile basic nitrogen (VBN) from 22.1-88.2 and 13.5-87.4 mg/100 g, peroxide value (POV) from 17.2-195.0 and 28.5-190.2 mEq/kg, and viable cell counts from 6.1-8.4 and 5.4-7.2 log (CFU/g). No Escherichia coli was detected in six kinds of SSD-CG or three kinds of SSD-LC. The standard for controlling the quality of SSD-F is the moisture content (>68%), salinity (>3%), VBN content (>50 mg/100 g), POV (>60 mEq/kg), viable cell counts (>$10^6$ CFU/g), E. coli (>MPN/100 g), and others. Using the established standards, no commercial SSD-F passed. The chemical, microbial, and other results for commercial SSD-F suggest that provisions for controlling the quality of high-quality SSD-F should be established.

어육의 가열조건에 따른 몇가지 정미성분 함량의 변화 (Changes in Contents of Some Taste Compounds of Fish Meat by Heating Conditions)

  • 가열조건을 달리 하였을 때의 고등어, 꽁치, 조기 및 가자미의 핵산관련물질 및 유기염류(TMAO, TMA 및 총 creatinine)의 함량 변화를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 각 시료에 있어서 공통적으로 inosine의 함량이 높았으며, 적색육어 보다는 백색육어에서 그 함량이 더 높게 나타났다. 그리고 가열을 함으로서 hypoxanthine의 함량은 증가하였으나, 그 외의 다른 성분들은 감소하였다. TMAO의 함량은 각 시료에서 생시료일 때에 31.1, 26.2, 49.4 및 58.5 mg%로 가자미에 있어서가 가장 많은 함량을 보였으며, 가열을 함에 따라서 그 함량이 감소하였다 그리고 TMA의 함량은 각 시료에서 3.7, 5.8, 22.9 및 16.9 mg%로 나타났으며, 조기의 경우가 가장 많았고, 가열처리를 함에 따라서 TMAO가 환원되어 그 함량이 증가하였다. 그리고 총 creatinine의 함량은 341.2, 469.8, 52.3 및 87.6 mg%로 백색육어 보다는 적색육어에서 더 많은 함량을 보였으며, 꽁치에서 가장 많았다. 가열을 함에 따라서 모든 시료에서 정미성분의 함량이 감소하였다.

수협 쇼핑몰에서 소비자의 수산물 구매 행태 연구 - 인구통계학적 요인을 중심으로 - (A Study on Seafood Purchasing Behavior of Consumers in Suhyup Shopping Mall - Focus on Demographic Factor -)

  • The aims of this study is to analyze the purchasing behavior of customers purchasing seafood using internet shopping mall based on the sales data of Suhyup Shopping Mall in 2016. The research shows three facts. First, 46.1% of those customers marine products in Suhyup Shopping Mall are purchasing less than 2 times a year and 62.7% of them are purchasing less than 5 times a year. Seconds, The amount of purchases of marine products using Suhyup Shopping Mall is very small. The proportion of purchasers with less than ₩100,000 per year is 48.5%, and the proportion of customers with annual purchases of less than ₩300,000 is 68.2%. Last, Relatively strong items were found by region and age. Abortion was a relatively strong item in the 20s, and In the 30s, the aquatic product set was a relatively strong item. In the 60s are seashells / scallops / shellfish and other fish, 70s are dried yellow croaker, abalone, tile fish and other fish. In the 60s and 70s, the other fishes showed strong relative strengths in terms of quantity and amount. But There were no relatively strong items due to regional differences according to the metropolitan area and nonmetropolitan area.

부세에 대한 음향반사강도의 체장 의존성 (Fish length dependance of acoustic target strength for large yellow croaker)

  • 우리나라 주변해역에 서식하는 주요 어종의 체장식별에 필요한 음향반사강도의 data bank를 구축하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 대형음향수조에서 부세의 체장에 따른 음향반사강도를 측정하고, 그 반사강도의 체장 의존성 및 KRM 산란모텔에 의한 이론 반사강도와 측정치를 비교, 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 체장의 범위가 21.0-32.5 cm인, 총 13마리의 부세를 대상으로 구한 평균반사강도패턴에서 최대 반사강도는 tilt angle이 -13.35$^{\circ}$ 인 입사방향에서 나타났고, 이 때의 반사강도는 -35.13 ㏈ 이었다. 2. 부세의 체장 (fork length, cm)과 평균반사강도의 사이에는 다음의 회귀직선식이 성립하였다. TS=23. 76log(L) -73.45(r=0.47) TS=20log(L) -67.35이 결과로부터 부세의 반사강도는 체장의 2.376승에 비례하는 경향을 나타내었고, 체장변환계수는 체장의 2승에 근사시켜 구한 값 보다 6.1 ㏈ 더 낮게 나타났다. 이들의 결과는 향후 체장어군탐지기의 체장변환계수의 값으로서 활용될 것으로 판단된다. 3. 평균체장은 25.59 cm인 총 13마리의 부세에 대한 반사강도의 빈도분포로부터 구한 반사강도는 -41.23 ㏈이었고, 이 값으로부터 구한 체장변환계수는 -69.72 ㏈이었다. 4. KRM model에 의한 부세의 이론반사강도는 L/λ 비가 15보다 작은 영역에서는 파동상의 변화를 나타내면서 증가하는 경향을 나타내었고, 15보다 큰 영역에서는 매우 완만하게 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 5. 부세의 평균반사강도의 측정치는 KRM 산란모델에 의한 예측치보다 전반적으로 낮은 경향을 나타내었고, 보다 정량적인 분석을 위해서는 광범위한 주파수 범위에 대한 실험이 필요하다고 판단된다.

1997 년 춘계의 동중국해 및 황해에 대한 어군의 분포특성 (Distribution Characteristics of Fish Schools in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea in the Spring of 1997)

  • 황해, 동중국 해역에서 서식하는 어업생물 자원의 평가 및 그 관리에 필요한 기초 자료를 수집하기 위한 시도로서, 1997 년도에 부경대학교와 일본 장기대학이 공동으로 실시한 어업자원조사중에서 주로 계량어군탐지기를 이용하여 수집한 자료를 분석, 고찰한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1 황해, 동중국해에 설정한 9개의 조사정점에서 저층트롤에 의한 어획량은 7.7~182.48 kg/hour이었고, 그때 어획된 어종수는 7~34 종이었다. 2. 1997년 5월에 동중국해에 있어서의 어군의 분포는 황해 중부의 저층 냉수역과 동중국해 중앙해역의 저층 고온수역, 또 쿠로시오계의 난류와 황해 냉수 및 대륙 연안수의 사이에 형성된 제주도 남부의 전선역에서 그 어군도가 매우 높았다. 3. 황해, 동중국해의 조사대상해역의 전수층부와 저층부에 대한 어군의 평균 체적산란강도는 각각 -74.57 ㏈, -68.24 ㏈로서 저층부가 전수층부에 비해 5.67 ㏈ 더 높았다. 4. 본 연구의 조사대상해역에 대한 어군의 분포밀도를 추정한 결과, 전수층에 대해서는 6.65$\times$$10^{-5}$ kg/㎥이었고, 저층부에 있어서는 2.86$\times$$10^{-4}$ kg/㎥이었다.

수산식품 중 노인성 퇴행성 질환과 관련된 알루미늄 함량 및 그에 따른 수산식품의 이용방안에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Aluminum Content in Fishes Caught from Several Areas of the West Coast in Korea)

  • 알루미늄 등 중금속 오염이 점점 심화되고 있는 서해안 일부지역에서 포획되고 있는 46종의 어패류 중 알루미늄 함량의 평균은 88.38$\pm$189.03ppm으로 그 범위는 0.97-827.70ppm이었는데 24종의 생선 중 알루미늄 함량은 그 범위가 0.97ppm에서 45.12ppm으로 건실치에 가장 많았고 도미에 가장 적게 함유되어 있었다. 15종의 연체류가 함유하고 있는 알루미늄 함량은 3.40ppm에서 827.70ppm으로 그 차이가 매우 컸는데 복족류인 소라에 3.40ppm으로 가장 적게 함유되어 있었고 이매패류인 대합에 826ppm, 해락에 812.55ppm으로 가장 많이 함유되어 있었다. 7종의 젓갈의 알루미늄 함량은 2.50-295.15ppm으로 그 차이가 컸는데 황새기젓과 한치젓에는 그 함유량이 낮았지만 조개젓과 곤쟁이젓에는 많은 양의 알루미늄이 함유되어 있었다 생선과 연체류 및 젓갈중에 함유되어 있는 알루미늄 함량간의 유의차를 검증한 결과 연체류의 알루미늄 함량이 생선과 젓갈에 비해 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.01), 이는 일생동안 주거지를 크게 움직이지 않는 생육조건을 갖는 이매패류의 특성때문으로 사료된다.

일제강점기의 수산적 유수실태에 관한 고찰 -서해안 지역을 중심으로- (A Research on the State of Korean Seafood Marketing at the Colonial Period - Focused on the West Coast -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the state and characteristic of seafood marketing in Korean West Coast during the colonial period ruled by Japan. To accomplish the purpose, we tried to set the fisheries statistical database by reviewing of $\boxDr$Statistical Annual Report of Chosun Chongdokbu$\boxUl$ and $\boxDr$Official Report of Chosun Chongdokbu$\boxUl$. A trend analysis was carried out with the data. Also, by reviewing of articles related to the state of seafood marketing via $\boxDr$Daehan Maeil Newspaper$\boxUl$, $\boxDr$Maeil Newspaper$\boxUl$ issued at the period, we could find out some meaningful findings which backed up the statistics in realistic facts. For numbers of businessman in seafood marketing, it was clear that the number of Japanese businessmen increased more quickly than that of Korean compared with other sphere of fisheries. That means Japanese grasped Korean seafood market in a short time. In price of seafood in terms of cities, Kunsan was comparatively higher than Incheon and Mokpo. In price of seafood in terms of species, ‘Snapper’ was mostexpensive, and ‘Mackerel Pike’, ‘Anchovy’, ‘Mullet’, ‘Eel’, ‘Flatfish’ followed in that order. In price of a species in terms of ‘Yellow Croaker’, which was famous in West Sea, ‘Croaker with salt’ was more expensive than dried and fresh one. For the transition trend of number of fish market, we could ascertain that the number of market increased until 1919, however, it decreased slowly from 1932. That means Japanese government went to war against China from 1931. Of the West Coast, the number of fish market in Chungnam province was most high, but that of Chonbuk outrun from 1940. At that time, the number of fish market in West Coast reached to 34% out of that of whole country. In 1919, the proportion of seafood sales amount of West Coast neighboring provinces, such as Kyunggido, Chungnam, and Chonbuk, was 23% of whole country which rose to 28% in 1929, and 29% in 1939. Therefore, we could assure that seafood marketing was very active at that time in the region. When we consider the trend of seafood export at the main ports of West Coast, in 1910's, the export through Mokpo and Inchon port was very live but that of Kunsan was very tiny. However, in 1920's, the export amount of Inchon port did not much change, but that of Mokpo decreased, whereas, that of Kunsan increased. In the early and middle of 1910' s which was around beginning of Japanese ruling period, we realized that the imperialist Japan was very eager in political efforts to enhance the mind of seafood's quality improvement through the opening of several fisheries competitive shows and fairs.

친환경 생분해성 그물실의 재질에 따른 연안 유자망의 어획성능 특성 (Fishing performance of a coastal drift net in accordance with materials of the environmentally-friendly biodegradable net twine)

  • The objective of this study was to estimate physical properties and fishing performances of net twine with improved PBS copolymer resin (Bio-new), the existing PBS/PBAT blending resin (Bio-old) and commercial Nylon (Nylon). The tensile strength of Bio-new monofilament was equal to Bio-old and the elongation of Bio-new was about 6 % higher than that of Bio-old in wet condition. The physical properties tests were carried out to estimate breaking load and stiffness in dry and wet conditions, respectively. In the results, the breaking load of Nylon netting was the highest whereas the elongation of Bio-new was 1.4 times higher than that of Nylon netting in wet condition. The breaking load of Bio-old netting was about 9.2 % higher than that of Bio-new netting. However, the elongation of the Bio-new netting was about 3% higher than that of Bio-old. The stiffness of the Bio-new compared to Bio-old was improved about 34 % in dry condition and about 32 % in wet condition. The filed experiments of the fishing performance were conducted with three kinds of drift nets with different netting materials in the coastal sea of Jeju. The each experimental drift net made of different materials showed the similar fishing performance. Bio-old drift net yielded less catches of small sized yellow croaker than other drift nets. The netting materials affected the fishing performance and length distribution of catches in the drift nets.
