동해 심해 생태계의 수심별 종조성 및 계절변동 (Seasonal variation of species composition by depths in deep sea ecosystem of the East Sea of Korea)

  • To investigate seasonal variation and species composition by depth layers in the deep sea ecosystem of the East Sea of Korea, bottom trawl survey was conducted at 4 depth layers during spring and autumn from 2007 to 2009. A total of 47 species were collected and were composed of 23 fish species, 9 crustacea, 6 cephalopoda and 9 gastropoda. The main dominant species at each depth layers were Chionoecetes opilio in 300m, Berryteuthis magister in 500m, Chionoecetes japonicus in 700m and 900m. In spring, richness indices (R) showed low value of 2.01 in 500m depth, and high value of 2.16 in 300m depth. Diversity indices (H') showed low value of 1.53 in 300m depth, and high value of 2.09 in 700m depth. Dominance indices (D) showed low value of 0.15 in 700m depth, and high value of 0.31 in 300m depth. In Autumn, richness indices showed low value of 1.48 in 900m depth, and high value of 2.69 in 300m depth. Diversity' indices (H') showed low value of 1.13 in 300m depth, and high value of 2.23 in 700m depth. Dominance indices (D) showed low value of 0.14 in 700m depth, and high value of 0.54 in 300m depth. In spring, similarity analysis in each depth layers showed the difference between 900m and othe depth layer, on the contrary 500m and 700m showed the similarity. In autumn, similarity analyssis in each depth layers showed the difference between 700m and other depth layers, on the contrary 300m and 500m showed the similarity.

중국에서 외국산 유아식품의 구매의도에 관한 연구 (Examination of Consumer Purchase Intention for Foreign Infant Foods in China)

  • Purpose - The aims of this study are follows. We investigated to find out how country image and brand image affect the consumer perceived value, consumer attitude, and purchase intention of foreign infant foods in China. Especially, we focused on investigate for the moderating role of consumer knowledge between national image, brand image and consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods in China. Research design, data, and methodology - This study analyzed the effect of national image and brand image on purchase intention through consumer perceived value and consumer attitude. This study collected data for empirical analysis of Chinese consumers who have been purchase experience infant foods in China. 256 copies of questionnaire data were used for substantial analysis. Before testing the hypothesis, factor analysis was conducted to test the construct validity of measurement items. Hypotheses about effects between variables were verified using structural equation modeling analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results - First, the country image had a positive effect on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. Second, the brand image had a positive effect on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. Third, the consumer perceived value had a positive effect on consumer attitude. Fourth, the consumer attitude had a positive effect on purchase intention. Fifth, the consumer knowledge was moderating roles between brand image and consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods. However, the consumer knowledge did not effect of moderating between country image and perceived value of consumers. Conclusions - First, the impact of country image and brand image on consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods in China can be seen as a universal psychology of consumers who trust pure foreign products such as high quality, technology, etc. Second, consumer perceived value of foreign infant foods has a positive effect on consumer attitude, and this attitude is leading to purchase intention. Third, the consumer knowledge between brand image and perceived value acts as a moderating variable. It means that the consumer's knowledge can shape the perception of the brand image more strongly.

주력산업에서 가치전략과 재무성과의 상관관계 (Correlation between Value Strategies and Financial Performance in Leading Industries)

  • Korea's five leading industries-chemical, automobile, shipbuilding, metal and electronics-have been the growth engines of the Korean economy for the last 30 years. However, with their performance weakening in the past few years, Korea's annual growth rate has dropped to less than 2%. Just as the Japanese economy struggled through the lost decades, Korea's leading industries have been facing signals of arriving at a Strategic Inflection Point ("SIP") since the mid-2000s. The objective of this study is to present an appropriate value strategy for Korean firms in leading industries to gain sustainable competitive advantages. This paper examines the following issues : First, it diagnoses the signs and timing of SIP for the five leading industries. Second, this study examines 78 Korean and Japanese firms in order to understand the adaptation strategies of the highest and lowest performing firms from a value strategy point of view. Third, it empirically analyzes the correlation between the indicators of value strategy and the accounting performances of the Korean and Japanese firms. The data set used in the cluster analysis were collected from KISLINE database of NICE Information Service and annual reports. The findings in the case analyses of high and low performing companies show that high value-added specialty chemical materials and electronic component manufacturers that had a strong focus on value creation were defined as high performing companies. And in the cosmetic and automobile industries, companies with a strong emphasis on value appropriation gained high performance. Furthermore, the study conducted a cluster analysis based on two indicators R&D and advertisement expense. The analysis shows that a significant gap exists in the operating incomes among three groups classified under the value strategy. The study recommends that Korean firms are requested to increase R&D expenditure, conduct M&A and collaborate with companies that own source technologies to narrow the technology gap and improve their segment portfolio from commodity to value-added products.

우리나라 바다숲의 경제적 가치 (Economic Value of Marine Forests in Korea)

  • This study is to evaluate economic value of the ecosystem service benefits of the marine forests provided to our society on the basis of the global standard valuation manual. The main results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the ecosystem service benefits of marine forests are worth 771,121,551 won per hectare for a year in Korea. Second, when evaluating value based on the services benefits of the marine forests, as resource provisioning service, the annual value of the fishery potential production amounts to 58,512,271 won per hectare. The annual value of the environmental and regulatory services is estimated to total 29,574,000 won per hectare including 546,488 won per hectare for climate regulation, 85,342 won per hectare for pollution purification, and 28,942,170 won per hectare for erosion protection. The annual value of the culture and tourinsm services is estimated to total 15,317,647 won per hectare including 5,011,765 won per hectare for skin scuba service and 10,305,882 won per hectare for sea fishing. Also, the aunnual non-use value is estimate to 637,800,000 won per hectare. Third, assuming that the value of the sea forests increases proportionally to the unit area, the marine forests can be valued at 12.7 trillion won per year based on 12,208.2 hectares of marine forests creation area and 4,272.6 hectares of natural seaweed beds. Fourth, the total economic value of the marine forests can be estimated at 244 trillion won in 2016, if the value of the marine forests permanently continues in the future by applying 5.5% of the social discount rate. The results of this study are expected to serve as a valuable information for improving awareness of the value of marine forests ecosystem and ensuring the validity of the marine forests creation policy by converting the value of the marine forests's ecosystem service into monetary units.

코스닥시장에서 회계정보의 매매관련성에 관한 연구 (Value Relevance of Accounting Information in KOSDAQ)

  • This thesis examines whether accounting information-earnings and book values-has the value relevance in the KOSDAQ. The study is motivated by previous studies which have examined the value relevance of accounting information. Prior researches have focused on KSE(Korea Stock Exchange). But, prior researches have not examined the value relevance of accounting information in KOSDAQ. So, this study examined the value relevance of accounting information which is disclosed by firms on KOSDAQ and whether accounting information between firms on KOSDAQ and KSE has the discriminative value relevance, underlying the expectation that KOSDAQ firms will have higher future profitability than KSE firms. In other words, book-value multiples of KOSDAQ firms is higher than book-value multiples of KSE firms and earnings multiples of KOSDAQ firms is lower than earnings multiples of KSE firms. The value relevance of accounting information is examined by a valuation framework presented by Ohlson(1995), which expresses the stock-price as a function of both earnings and book values of equity. The results indicate that accounting information of KOSDAQ has significant explanatory power for stock price over the 2005-2007 period. KOSDAQ firm are divided by Venture firms and Small to Mid size firms. KOSDAQ Venture firms have the discriminative value relevance, compared with KSE firms. But, KOSDAQ Small to Mid size firms have not the discriminative value relevance, compared with KSE firms.

항공 산업에서의 브랜드 동일시 연구 (Research on Brand Identification in the Airline Industry)

  • 본 연구는 K항공사를 이용하는 고객을 대상으로 고객가치가 브랜드 동일시 및 충성도에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하고자 연구모형을 설정하였다. 이론연구의 고찰을 통해 변수를 추출하였으며 각 변수간의 관계를 살펴보기 위해 구조방정식 모형을 활용하였다. 실증분석 결과는 아래와 같다. 첫째, 고객가치 중 기능적 가치와 감성적 가치가 브랜드 동일시에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 가설 1은 채택되었다. 둘째, 현재의 소비자는 제품이나 서비스의 선택에 있어 감성적인 면을 더 추구한다는 것을 확인하였다. 즉 자아 이미지와 동일하거나 자신의 가치관 혹은 라이프 스타일에 일치한다고 생각하는 항공사 브랜드를 이용함으로써 항공사와의 브랜드 동일시를 추구하고 있다. 셋째, 고객 가치 중 기능적 가치와 감성적 가치 모두 브랜드 충성도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타나 고객가치는 브랜드 동일시를 통해 충성도가 강화됨을 알 수 있다. K항공은 소비자들의 브랜드 충성도를 상승시키기 위해서는 다른 매개변수의 역할도 고려되어야 하겠지만 고객의 브랜드 동일시 제고에 관심을 가져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

전통 사찰의 이용 및 보존 가치에 대한 경제적 평가 - 설악산 신흥사와 가야산 해인사를 중심으로 - (Economic Evaluation of Use and Conservation Values of Traditional Temples - In Case of Sinheungsa in Seolak Mountain and Hainsa in Gaya Mountain -)

  • The traditional temples located in national parks have various functions, such as religious practice, tourist destination, and conservation for cultural and natural resources. One functions have implicit monetary values in terms of public benefits. The purpose of this study was to estimate both use and non-use conservation values for two traditional temples, Sinheungsa and Haeinsa, using the contingent valuation method. In the study, both single-bounded and double-bounded dichotomous choice methods were used in an application of Turnbull distribution-free model. A total of 659 visitors were interviewed, 350 in Sinheungsa and 309 in Haeinsa. The mean WTP (willingness to pay) for Sinheungsa using single-bounded method was 4,040 Won for the use value, 6,157 Won for the cultural conservation value, and 5,624 Won for the natural conservation value. The mean WTP for Haeinsa using single-bounded method was 6,463 Won for the use value, 8,769 Won for the cultural conservation value, and 8,013 Won for the natural conservation value. The total economic value of each temple accounted for 50% (Sinheungsa) and 80% (Haeinsa) of the total economic value of the associated national park. It was also found that the single-bounded method was more conservative than the double-bounded method in terms of value estimation. The WTP was highest for the cultural conservation value and lowest for the use values in both temples, with natural conservation values falling in the middle, which showed that people perceived traditional temples as the cultural heritage. Based on these results, it was suggested that traditional temples should be designated as an 'multiple heritage area' so that conservation can be used as the main criteria for various use programs.

밝기 정보를 이용한 영상 이진화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Image Binarization using Intensity Information)

  • 영상의 이진화는 문자 인식, 영상 분석 등 다양한 영상 처리 분야의 전처리 과정으로 자주 적용되고 있다. 영상 이진화는 임계치의 설정에 따라 처리 성능이 좌우되며, 대부분의 기존 이진화 방법은 밝기 값의 히스토그램을 사용하여 평균 밝기 값이나 히스토그램의 골짜기를 임계치로 설정한다. 이와 같은 방법은 양봉의 특징을 보이지 않거나 특정 영상을 추출하려는 경우에는 적절한 임계치를 얻기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 그레이 스케일 영상에서 밝기 값을 여러 구간으로 분할하여 각 구간의 밝기 평균값을 구하고, 두 개의 구간에 대해 평균값 사이의 거리를 각 구간에서 평균값과 양극과의 거리 비율로 나누어서 계산된 값을 두 개의 구간을 합친 새로운 구간의 임계치로 설정한다. 최종적으로 하나의 구간이 생성될 때까지 구간 통합과 임계값 계산을 반복함으로써 이진화 임계값을 산출한다. 제안된 이진화 방법의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 종류의 영상에 적용한 결과, 기존의 이진화 방법들보다 효율적인 것을 확인하였다.

경호무도로서 공수도 수련의 가치 (Value of Karatedo training as Security Guard Martial Art)

  • 본 연구는 경호무도로서 점차 활성화되고 있는 공수도 수련을 탐색해 봄으로서 공수도가 경호무도로서 어떠한 가치를 갖는가를 정립하고자 한다. 연구방법은 문헌연구로 공수도 관련서적과 자료, 타무도를 경호무도로 활용한 선행 연구를 수집, 참고하였다. 경호무도는 일반적인 운동과는 달리 많은 노력과 숙련으로 실제상황을 대비하여 습득하는 무술로서 공격형이 아닌 방어형 무술이라고 할 수 있다. 경호업무에 있어서 한 번의 실수는 곧 경호대상자를 잃게 되는 결과를 초래하기에 경호의 존재가치가 무의미한 것으로 나타나기에 경호업무의 중요성은 날로 그 의미를 더해간다고 볼 수 있다. 이와 연관하여 본 연구자는 경호무도로서 공수도의 가치를 분류하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 방어수단적 가치이다. 둘째, 신체적 가치이다. 셋째, 심리적 가치이다. 넷째, 기술적 가치이다. 다섯째 교육적 가치이다. 여섯째, 무도론적 가치이다. 이러한 경호무도로서의 공수도 수련의 가치는 세계인들의 나이와 인종 그리고 종교에 관계없이 공경호와 사경호를 위한 경호무도로서 발전되어 가고 있다.

Carbon Emission Disclosure, Good Corporate Governance, Financial Performance, and Firm Value

  • This research aims to examine (1) the effect of carbon emission disclosure on firm value, (2) the effect of good corporate governance on firm value, (3) the mediating role of financial performance between carbon emission disclosure and firm value, and (4) the mediating role of financial performance between good corporate governance and firm value. The research sample includes 43 mining, agro, and manufacturing firms listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange over the 2015-2017 period. Carbon emission disclosure is measured by an indicator of the Global Reporting Initiative Series of Environmental Aspect. Good corporate governance is measured by the corporate governance score of shareholder rights, boards of directors, outside directors, audit committee and internal auditor, and disclosure to investors. Financial performance is measured by return on assets, while firm value is measured by Tobin's Q. Data analysis uses the structural equation modeling. The result shows carbon emission disclosure and good corporate governance have no direct effect on firm value. On the other hand, financial performance mediates the effect of carbon emission disclosure and good corporate governance on firm value. It shows that higher carbon emission disclosure and good corporate governance are meaningless for the investor if they do not give any financial performance improvement.
