  • Machining processes produce high accurate metallic parts in metal working industries. Lubrication for machining enhances quality of machined surface and it prolongs the life of cutting tools. Since lubricant is poisonous to human body and environment, it causes occupational diseases for workers and air pollution in environment. Because of these problems generated, developed countries do not permit the excessive usage of lubricant in machining shops. This research focuses on the development of MQL machining technique that consumes minimal amount of lubricant, which reduces possible outbreak of occupational diseases and air pollution. This research sets experimental equipments for MQL machining. Experiments for this study are designed with major machining parameters in MQL. Through the analysis of experiments, this paper presents the optimal machining parameters.

  • This paper applies the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to analyzing the causes and countermeasures of the accidents by the dangerous machines. The AHP is the decision supporting tool considering several objectives and criteria, and synthesizing a number of decision makers' opinions to find the best alternative. It has the merit to be able to consider not only quantitative factors but also qualitative factors. Because this paper focuses the thoughts of the workers about the dangerous factors in working space including machines, work environment and tools, the AHP is the most suitable method for this study. This study using the AHP can be used as useful tool analyzing the important causes of the accidents by the dangerous machines and deciding the urgent countermeasures.

  • The purpose of this study is to design the free forging tool for the high accuracy of the thrust shaft in marine engine. In order to do it, the principal factor controlling the uprightness of the flange part and the excessive margin and folding in middle part of thrust shaft after forging process was identified using FEA. Based on the results, the optimum shape of free forging tool and working method were proposed and verified through the mock-up and the actual product test.

  • This paper presents the development of an interactive knowledge-based CAM system for design-ing and manufacturing the mold. The system is composed of two functional parts. One is the geo-metric modeller that uses the feature-based models. The models include base plate step, hole, pocket, boss and slot, These are designed by interactive user interface. The other is the expert sys-tem module with inference engine and knowledge database of workpiece material tools manufac-turing machines process an working conditions. With two parts the final mold shape is generated with manufacturing information for effective production.

  • By no means rapid advances in technology affects the working and improvement of all systems built to increase the quality/standards of human living. Information technologies as the main driving force of technological progress today happen to be a sine qua non for all organizations hoping to keep pace with or surpass rivals. However, despite their vital advantages it is true that these create undesirable side effects that harm social systems and the rights of persons. Similar to all others in the world Turkey is trying to cope with the problem through creating an appropriate legal and administrative substructure trusted to discontinue or at least minimize such criminal acts.

  • The program of practical training of architectural interior will be change for improvement of not only to complete design on the table but to be in employee market flexibly also. It's necessary to take the educational efficiency for the practical training in the course of intoner architecture. The characteristic of interior space in the model for useful practice is residential space. the interior construction to be controled generally on the central axis of interior architecture, although there were several items of construction which divided architectural structure, electrical power, air control est. the process of practical training is to be established not only with object of training, grade of skill, materials and equipments and tools of it's prepare and working, but safety on the job training.

  • Construction projects are facing delay problems. Delays in construction have been immense effect on performance or satisfactory delivery of the project. Delays have been causing project cost overrun as well as it is a source of dispute hence damaging the relationship between the project participants. The purpose of this study was to explore the causes of delay risk through a field survey study. Data were collected from construction professionals working in owner, consultant and contractor organizations. All together 208 questionnaire instruments were used and analyzed by employing statistical tools (SPSS computer program). 19 delay factors were identified by this study, out of which following factors were critical: Frequent interruptions from public (local people, pressure group etc.), changed site condition, failure to provide required construction site, unrealistic project time estimation and design errors.

  • Critics of height argue that it de-humanizes our cities. Yet a critical mass is a necessity for vibrant city life, and height is a key contributor. If we can overcome the environmental impacts and technicalities of building tall and dense, our cities' streets can thrive and prosper. To make this happen, we must move towards working together to share resources, so we can ensure the continuity of the public realm. We already have the tools to do this; the challenge lies in the coordination of the public and private institutions that govern urban space. District heating and cooling systems; shared logistics spaces; care, responsibility and ownership of the public realm between buildings; seamless connectivity between modes of transport; creative combinations of shelter and seating, and the placement of buildings so that they are not overbearing to the streets around them - these attributes can be found in many places, though rarely all at once. This paper looks at the development of the city and offers Barangaroo South, Sydney, which addresses all these aspects, as a potential template for future city planning.

  • In addition to documents or technologies at working place, the importance of technology management riese through increasing know-hows. In particular, in the field of construction, a variety of management systems including ERP and PMIS have been introduced since 90's. Therefore, the range of shared information extends to construction grounds, headquarters or even to collaborating companies. It means that the competitiveness of companies depends on the efficient management of technological documents in the field of construction. Accordingly, this study shows the purpose to develop the construction system which save, search and share technological information in order to improve any problem of current construction systems. The construction system offers you both the searching function and the viewing function for various information. In addition, the system contains the highlighting function to know if any information is available. The Construction system is possible to be used with current systems at the same time because is is designed to make up for them. In addition, it is expected to solve their problems and supplement their defects.

  • Machine learning in an uncertain or unknown environment is of vital interest to those working with intelligent systems. The ability to garner new information, process it, and increase the understanding/ capability of the machine is crucial to the performance of autonomous systems. The field of artificial intelligence provides two major approaches to the problem of knowledge engineering-expert systems and neural networks. Harnessing the power of these two techniques in a hybrid, cooperating system holds great promise.
