Recently, small and medium-sized hospitals which are located in rural areas have many difficulties in securing high quality nurses. That is because working environments for nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals in rural areas are poor compared with those of big hospitals in urban. As a result, the migration of nurses from small and medium-sized hospitals in rural areas to big hospitals in urban is continuously happening. In general, big hospitals provide nurses with high level of salary and fringe benefits. To prevent the migration of nurses, chief executive officers of small & medium hospitals in rural areas have been interested in improving nurses' working conditions including wages. Also, they have raised nurses' salary and improved working conditions. But, basically these individualized efforts have some limit. In connection with this, medical interest groups have produced various voices in terms of interpretation and solutions for these issues. However, from the future perspectives, it seems evident that two approaches for both manpower supply and demand plans of nurses are necessary. They should contain not only accurate estimation of the supply-demand of nursing manpower but also the improvement of working conditions and wages of nurses. Estimation of nursing manpower supply-demand depends on the standards and criteria being used. Supply and demand may be met or not in accordance with the points emphasized on the decision. In the articles, issues regarding nursing manpower, levels of salary, other working conditions and social support system for child care are discussed. According to Joe's report (2005), most health institutions did not meet the guidelines of nurse staffing in Medical Law. The wages of nurse vary on every hospital and there is a big difference in wages' range. The average starting salary for a nurse is 22 million won a year. In case of tertiary hospitals, it reaches up to 30 million won a year. Nurse as a profession should have a strong responsibility and should take care of the patients for 24 hours with three working shifts. Also, most of them are female who have the burden of child rearing. Therefore, it is suggested to increase the salary, to provide comfortable working conditions, and to have social support system for nurses with household affairs.

Nowadays, the conflict of work and family has become a common problem in families due to the increase of working parents. But in Korea, there is a little supporting system which can help them work. So, this study showed the necessity of family-friendly Policy and families' demands to it. Many capitalist countries which have insufficient welfare system effort to integrating work and family by offering a family-friendly policy for working parents. So, policies for family and women have to be family friendly, and all of the corporation, community, school, and government have to support the working families.

The Korea has significant tidal current energy resources, but it is so hard to work underwater for tidal turbine installation. Therefore commercial diving work is very important for tidal current generator. Also, Jangjuk channel is vary famous as proper area to generate tidal current energy. Nevertheless, no one is studied about characteristics of commercial diving works with installation of tidal current generator. The purpose of this study is to introduce commercial diving with work types and investigate critical limits of diving working under the conditions, which are working only to minutes at slack tide during the neap tide. As the results, work types are five as like mooring installation, OMAS(Offshore Maintenance Access System), support structure installation, cable and turbine installation. Here, the original construction period is expected about 4 months, but the construction take 18 months to complete. The cause of extends construction period is insufficiency of researching tidal current conditions at the site and ignorance of slack tide which need to secure diving working time. Total diving working times are 110th during 18 months, the highest percentage of diving times is turbine installation about 43.6 %, and cable, mooring installation and support structure construction are 27.3 %, 15.5 %, 13.6 %, respectively. On the basis of this study, estimation of times of commercial diving is possible with work types of tidal current power, and has a significance as basic data to determining construction period.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify turnover intentions in workers with mentally disabilities working in manufacturing industry. Methods: Participants were 147 workers with mentally disabled living in B-city and Y-city. The data were collected from September 1st to November 30th, 2011 using self-report questionnaires including measurements of turnover intentions, family support, work volition, working environment, job satisfaction and internalized stigma. Data analysis was done using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The average score for turnover intention was $2.9{\pm}0.7$. Turnover intention was related to job satisfaction, working environment, family support and internalized stigma. The predicting factors for turnover intention were job satisfaction, internalized stigma and gender. Those factors accounted for 41.9% of turnover intention. Conclusion: The results imply that workers with mentally disabled need to reduce internalized stigma as well as to increase job satisfaction in order to decrease turnover intention.

Objectives: An appropriate level of cost support is being proposed to maximize the participation rate. In addition, as the amount of support is highly concentrated at the level of the limit under the current level of supports, the level of cost support is low when the actual level of cost of measuring the working environment exceeds the limit. This paper describes the adjustment of an appropriate cost support rate. Methods: First, this paper analyzes the current cost support status using data from the KOSHA. Second, an alternative for adjusting the cost support rate is presented in consideration of the incentive aspect. Third, we present simulation results for the average cost support rate, the impact of each alternative on finance, and more. Fourth, the most desirable adjustment method is presented after comparing and analyzing the results of various alternatives. Results: In this paper, we present a new scale model. This model is a mixture of flat-rate, fixed rate, and subside cap. It is expected that the new model will not only facilitate participation in businesses with low measurement costs, but also have the effect of controlling measurement costs for institutions that incur greater costs. It is also expected that setting a cap will have the effect of considering government finances and inducing excessively costly institutions to reduce costs. Thus, the new model is likely to be superior to others. If the fourth plan is applied to new businesses and the fifth plan is applied to sustainable businesses, the average cost support rates will be 87.68 percent and 65.18 percent, respectively, and the needed finances will be 2.5 billion won, 18.8 billion won, and 21.3 billion won in total. Conclusions: It seems most desirable to introduce a new model that combines flat-rate, fixed-rate, and subsidy cap systems and achieve an appropriate cost support rate through this model.
Influenced by the alternating effects of dynamic and static pressure during the mining process of close range coal seams, the surrounding rock support of cross mining roadway is difficult and the deformation mechanism is complex, which has become an important problem affecting the safe and efficient production of coal mines. The paper takes the inclined longwall mining of the 10304 working face of Zhongheng coal mine as the engineering background, analyzes the key strata fracture mechanism of the large inclined right-angle trapezoidal mining field, explores the stress distribution characteristics and transmission law of the surrounding rock of the roadway affected by the mining of the inclined coal seam, and proposes a segmented and hierarchical support method for the cross mining roadway affected by the mining of the close range coal seam group. The research results indicate that based on the derived expressions for shear and tensile fracture of key strata, the ultimate pushing distance and ultimate suspended area of a right angle trapezoidal mining area can be calculated and obtained. Within the cross mining section, along the horizontal direction of the coal wall of the working face, the peak shear stress is located near the middle of the boundary. The cracks on the floor of the cross mining roadway gradually develop in an elliptical funnel shape from the shallow to the deep. The dual coupling support system composed of active anchor rod support and passive U-shaped steel shed support proposed in this article achieves effective control of the stability of cross mining roadways, which achieves effective control of floor by coupling active support and preventive passive support to improve the strength of the surrounding rock itself. The research results are of great significance for guiding the layout, support control, and safe mining of cross mining roadways, and to some extent, can further enrich and improve the relevant theories of roof movement and control.
As the research for evaluating the welfare satisfaction factor of radiological technologist who works in the clinic, this study was conducted to analysis the satisfaction factor, satisfaction level, and the improvements. During July 14, 2014 to March 31, 2015, after we sent out a total of 150 questionnaires for the survey to radiological technologists working at the clinic located in Gyoungsangnam province, 130 questionnaires suitable for research were analysis by using SPSS 18.0 statistical analysis software. As the welfare factors, working environment, financial support, educational opportunity, medical support, working culture, etc. were used. And as the sociodemographic characteristics, the gender, marriage, level of education, age, and working period were used. As a result of analysis of satisfaction level by welfare factors, working environment was $2.74{\pm}0.65$, financial support was $2.42{\pm}0.74$, educational opportunity was $2.24{\pm}0.72$, medical support was $2.68{\pm}0.69$, and working culture was $2.27{\pm}0.64$. Consequentially, the satisfaction level of welfare factor ($2.45{\pm}0.59$) was confirmed as below average. On the nature of the clinic, the management's lack of awareness of welfare is a realistic limit. In order to improve the satisfaction level of clinic's radiological technologist, it thought that there should be the proactive changes of the managements and the change of the medical staff 's perception. Moreover, it is important to provide selective welfare effectively by the investigation of employees' desire for welfare.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare health promoting behavior between working and non-working mothers with infants and toddlers, and to investigate factors affecting the mothers'health promoting behavior. Methods: This descriptive study was conducted through conveniently sampled 403 women who visited the child health clinics at two public health centers. The questionnaire included the Health Promoting Life Style Profile (HPLP) and a visual analogue scale for subjective health status. ANCOVA, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression were conducted using SPSS ver. 21. Results: Working mothers' average HPLP score ($2.30{\pm}0.37$) was higher than non-working mother's ($2.15{\pm}0.37$). The score of the physical activity subscale was lowest among the subscales and there was a difference between the two groups. Subjective mental health status was the only predictor of working mothers'health promoting behavior, and it explained 23.2% of variance in health promoting behavior. Subjective mental health status, education, and age were the predictors of non-working mothers' health promoting behavior and they explained 27.2% of variance in health promoting behavior. Conclusion: According to the findings, both working and non-working mothers' health promoting behaviors were low. To promote mothers' health, it is necessary to develop diverse community health promotion programs to support mothers.
Background: Presenteeism is closely related to work performance, work quality and quantity, and productivity at work. According to the job demand-control-support model, job demand, job control, and support play important roles in presenteeism. The present study investigated job characteristics profiles based on the job demand-control-support model and identify the association between job characteristics profiles and presenteeism. Methods: This secondary data analysis used the Sixth Korean Working Condition Survey, a nationwide cross-sectional dataset. The study included 25,361 Korean wage workers employed in the workplace with two or more workers. Participants were classified into four job characteristics profiles based on the job demand-control-support model, using latent profile analysis, and logistic regression was performed to examine the association between study variables. Results: Overall, 11.0 % of study participants reported experience of presenteeism in the past 12 months. Age, sex, location, monthly income, shift work, work hours, health problems, and sleep disturbances were significantly associated with presenteeism. The rate of presenteeism was the highest in the passive isolate group. The passive collective, active collective, and low-stain collective groups had a 23.0%, 21.0%, and 29.0% lower likelihood of experiencing presenteeism, respectively, than the passive isolate group. Conclusions: The job demand-control-support profiles and the risk of presenteeism were significantly associated. The most significant group that lowered the experience of presenteeism was the low-strain collective group, which had a low level of demand and high levels of control and support. Therefore, we need a policy to reduce job demand and increase job control and support at the organizational and national levels.
Purpose: This study was carried out in order to examine the relationship of job satisfaction and social support on the dental technicians and to analyze its influence. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire survey was carried out by having convenience sampling as 220 dental technicians who work in Seoul Metropolis, Gyeonggi-do Province, Daejeon and Chungnam Province. A research tool was used questionnaire that was proved reliability and validity. It was prepared with totally 37 questions such as 12 items for subjects' general characteristics, 18 items for job satisfaction measurement, and 7 items for social support measurement. An analysis of the collected data was computationally processed by using SPSS Win 17.0 program. An analytical technique was made by using statistical techniques such as frequency & percentage, T-test or One-way ANOVA analysis. The following are the analytical results of the collected materials. Results: As a result of analyzing research subjects' job satisfaction level, there was significant difference(P<0.05) in items of religion, hobby life, working environment, and rest time out of daily work. The whole mean in job satisfaction was indicated to be relatively high with 3.13. However, job satisfaction with social recognition, salary, and safety was indicated lowly. As a result of analyzing research subjects' social support level, there was significant difference(P<0.05) in items of age, working environment, and rest time out of daily work. The whole mean in social support was indicated to be relatively high with 3.49. As a result of analyzing correlation between job satisfaction and social support, all variables were indicated to be positive correlation in high significance level, thereby having been indicated that the higher job satisfaction leads to the higher social support. Conclusion: As a result of this study, there is high correlation between social support and job satisfaction. An effort and a support are considered to be necessary for forming positive personal relations among members such as relationship with family member and with fellow employee, for improving the working conditions, and for enhancing dental technicians' pride and social recognition in order to promote dental technician's job satisfaction.
