광역자치단체의 기계학습 행정서비스 업무유형에 관한 연구 -서울시를 중심으로- (A Study on the Work Type of Machine Learning Administrative Service in Metropolitan Government)

  • 본 연구의 배경은 최근 포스트 코로나시대의 비대면 행정서비스를 위한 주요 정책수단으로 기계학습 행정서비스가 주목을 받고 있는 가운데 기계학습 행정서비스를 시범적으로 운영하고 있는 서울특별시를 대상으로 기계학습 행정서비스 도입 시 효과가 예상되는 업무유형에 대하여 살펴보았다. 연구방법으로는 2020년 7월 한 달 동안 기계학습 기반 행정서비스를 활용하거나 수행하고 있는 서울시 행정조직을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 조직단위별 도입 가능한 기계학습 행정서비스 및 응용서비스를 분석하고, 지도학습, 비지도학습, 강화학습 등 기계학습 행정서비스의 업무유형별 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 지도학습 및 비지도학습 업무유형의 특성에서 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 특히 강화학습 업무유형이 기계학습 행정서비스에 가장 적합한 업무적 특성요인을 포함하고 있는 것으로 밝혀져 그에 대한 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다. 본 연구결과는 기계학습 행정서비스를 도입하고자 하는 실무자들에게는 참고자료로 제공될 수 있고, 향후 기계학습 행정서비스를 연구하고자 하는 연구자들에게는 연구의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Sentiment Orientation Using Deep Learning Sequential and Bidirectional Models

  • Sentiment Analysis has become very important field of research because posting of reviews is becoming a trend. Supervised, unsupervised and semi supervised machine learning methods done lot of work to mine this data. Feature engineering is complex and technical part of machine learning. Deep learning is a new trend, where this laborious work can be done automatically. Many researchers have done many works on Deep learning Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Long Shor Term Memory (LSTM) Neural Network. These requires high processing speed and memory. Here author suggested two models simple & bidirectional deep leaning, which can work on text data with normal processing speed. At end both models are compared and found bidirectional model is best, because simple model achieve 50% accuracy and bidirectional deep learning model achieve 99% accuracy on trained data while 78% accuracy on test data. But this is based on 10-epochs and 40-batch size. This accuracy can also be increased by making different attempts on epochs and batch size.

사회복지교육에서의 서비스러닝 적용 연구 (A Study on Implementation of Service-Learning in Social Work Education)

  • While the endeavor to introduce the service activity in the college education is enlarged, the object of this study is to introduce the concept of service learning in social work education. The 'content centered service-learning' is focusing on the practical education, the liaison and participation in community and the promotion of civil awareness which are very important in social work education that focuses on the interest and participation in the human and social problem as practical study. This study contemplates the educational effect of the course of social work combined with service learning. This study verifies the self-efficacy, the altruism, the change of social responsibility of students and the effect by carrying out the course of social welfare and service activities side by side. To evaluate the effect of service learning, pre and post test and qualitative analysis in journal of service activity, the discussion during the class and the mid and final term evaluation were done. Through the service learning, students showed the promotion in self-esteem, the altruism, the social responsibility, the self insights as a social worker and were able to have the chance to consider their future job. From the view point of local centers, it was evaluated that the service activity of students was helpful to the institutions and the clients, and that the liaison between the community agency and the college and the experience of integration of service learning and the course of social welfare was helpful too. Based on the above mentioned results, this study provide some recommendations in implementation of service-learning as the teaching methodology of social work.

Scenario-based Learning: Experiences from Construction Management Courses

  • Scenario-based learning (SBL) has been used in a variety of training situations across different disciplines. Despite its seemly widespread use in construction management discipline, very few attempts have been made to explore its effectiveness and the respective students' learning experience. Using a survey research design, this study aims to investigate students' perceptions on SBL approach in construction management courses. The specific objectives are: (i) to identify the characteristics of a favourable SBL environment, and (ii) to explore the students' learning experience and effectiveness of the SBL approach. The results show that the four characteristics of a favourable SBL environment are: effective team formulation, constant engagement with lecturer, working in a group, and incorporation of motivational incentive for participation. The students really appreciated the opportunities to apply concepts learnt in the lectures in their SBL group work. Also, they perceived that the SBL approach is effective in developing their reflective and critical thinking skills, analytic and problem-solving skills and their ability to work as a team. These findings should facilitate more critical approaches to similar form of teaching methods.

The Effect of Application of PBL(Problem-Based-Learning) Class on Nursing Process Education

  • 본 연구는 간호과정 및 비판적사고 수업에서 문제중심학습 방법을 한 학기 동안 적용하여 적용 전·후에 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 협력적 자아효능감 및 간호과정 자신감에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구는 단일군 사전·사후 설계이다. 연구 대상자는 G시의 간호학과 2학년을 대상으로 온라인 설문지를 이용하여 수집하였고 108명이 최종 참여하였다. 연구결과 비판적 사고성향(t=-4.24, p=.000)과 협력적 자아효능감(t=-3.08, p=.003) 및 간호과정 자신감(t=-13.99, p=.000)은 통계적으로 유의하게 상승했다. 이 결과는 문제중심학습이 비판적 사고성향, 협력적 자아효능감 및 간호과정 자신감에 효과가 있음을 의미한다. 따라서 문제중심학습(PBL)을 간호교육에 확대하여 적용한다면 간호대학생의 핵심역량을 높이는데 효과적일 것이라고 사료된다.

양손잡이 리더십과 혁신적인 업무 행동: 한국 반도체 산업의 증거 (Ambidextrous Leadership and Innovative Work Behavior: Evidence from South Korea Semiconductor Industry)

  • The semiconductor industry is a competitive, complicated and a cyclical sector with a highly dynamic business climate which requires an effective leadership style to operate and succeed. This study explores the important issue of how leadership facilitates employee innovative work behaviors in the semiconductor industry. Based on the assumptions of the ambidextrous leadership theory and social exchange theory, we collected data from 300 workers employed in the semiconductor industry of South Korea. The study investigated (1) the impact of ambidextrous leadership on innovative work behavior, (2) the mediating effects of workers decision-making autonomy and workplace learning in the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and innovative work behavior, (3) the moderating role of resistance to change in the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and workplace learning, and (4) the moderating role of openness to experience in the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and innovative work behavior. SmartPLS 4 and SPSS v24 was used to analyze our data. The study revealed that ambidextrous leadership positively influences workers innovative work behavior. In addition, decision-making autonomy and workplace learning partially mediated the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and innovative work behavior. Moreover, resistance to change was found to be a significant moderator in the relationship between ambidextrous leadership and workplace learning. Based on these findings, we conclude that ambidextrous leadership is very imperative for semiconductor businesses seeking to foster employee innovative work behaviors. Theoretical and practical implications of the study are also discussed.

증강현실(Augmented Reality) 기술 기반의 글자교구재 디지털 앱 개발 사례와 교육효과 평가: 학습동기, 학습만족도, 학습몰입도를 중심으로 (An Augmented Reality-Based Digital App as an Educational Tool for Foreign Language Learning and the Evaluation of Its Learning Effect: Towards an Examination of Learning Motivation, Learning Satisfaction, and Learning Engagement)

  • The present work aimed to present the development of 'Funt', the augmented reality-based digital app as an educational tool for foreign language learning. Our work further evaluated the learning efficacy of the tool by the assessment of the three dependent measures including learning motivation, learning satisfaction, and learning involvement. With a learning app of 'Funt', students can use AR app to access recognition-based or location-based experiences such that any objects, artifacts, or media appear to be in the app. Students are then able to interact with the digital content by manipulating it to learn more about it. Students's engagement should also increase when they create their own experience in AR to demonstrate their understanding of a particular concept or words. Learning effects were evaluated on survey data collected from a hundred respondents aging six to nine years. One-group design for pre-test and post-test was utilized to examine the differences of learning efficacy by comparing the non-'Funt' group and the Funt group scores. A pairwise t-Test was performed for pairwise comparisons between two learning groups. The results indicate that the 'Funt' group scored significantly higher than the non-'Funt' group in the measures of learning motivation, learning satisfaction, and learning involvement. Overall, our results suggest that 'Funt' attracted the students' attention, provided them with a fun context to learn English vocabulary, and develop positive motivation and satisfaction towards vocabulary learning through AR technology.

A Computer-Aided Diagnosis of Brain Tumors Using a Fine-Tuned YOLO-based Model with Transfer Learning

  • This paper proposes transfer learning and fine-tuning techniques for a deep learning model to detect three distinct brain tumors from Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans. In this work, the recent YOLOv4 model trained using a collection of 3064 T1-weighted Contrast-Enhanced (CE)-MRI scans that were pre-processed and labeled for the task. This work trained with the partial 29-layer YOLOv4-Tiny and fine-tuned to work optimally and run efficiently in most platforms with reliable performance. With the help of transfer learning, the model had initial leverage to train faster with pre-trained weights from the COCO dataset, generating a robust set of features required for brain tumor detection. The results yielded the highest mean average precision of 93.14%, a 90.34% precision, 88.58% recall, and 89.45% F1-Score outperforming other previous versions of the YOLO detection models and other studies that used bounding box detections for the same task like Faster R-CNN. As concluded, the YOLOv4-Tiny can work efficiently to detect brain tumors automatically at a rapid phase with the help of proper fine-tuning and transfer learning. This work contributes mainly to assist medical experts in the diagnostic process of brain tumors.

Adaptive Hypermedia for eLearning: An Implementation Framework

  • eLearning can be defined as an approach to teaching and teaming that utilises Internet technologies to communicate and collaborate in an educational context. This includes technology that supplements traditional classroom training with web-based components and learning environments where the educational process is experienced online. The use of hypertext as an educational tool has a very rich history. The advent of the internet and one of its major application, the world wide web (WWW), has given a tremendous boost to the theory and practice of hypermedia systems for educational purposes. However, the web suffers from an inability to satisfy the heterogeneous needs of a large number of users. For example, web-based courses present the same static teaming material to students with widely differing knowledge of the subject. Adaptive hypermedia techniques can be used to improve the adaptability of eLearning. In this paper we report an approach to the design a unified implementation framework suitable for web-based eLearning that accommodates the three main dimensions of hypermedia adaptation: content, navigation, and presentation. The framework externalises the adaptation strategies using XML notation. The separation of the adaptation strategies from the source code of the eLearning software enables a system using the framework to quickly implement a variety of adaptation strategies. This work is a part of our more general ongoing work on the design of a framework for adaptive content delivery. parts of the framework discussed in this paper have been imulemented in a commercial eLearning engine.

블렌디드 러닝(Blended learning)을 기반으로 한 정신간호학 실습교육이 간호대학생의 의사소통 능력, 협력적 자기 효능감 및 학습전이동기에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Communication Competency, Self-efficacy for group work, and Learning Transfer Motivation of Nursing Students in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practice Education based on Blended Learning)

  • 본 연구는 COVID-19 pandemic으로 간호대학생의 정신간호학 임상실습이 제한되면서 블랜디드 러닝을 기반으로 한 정신간호학실습 프로그램을 개발하고 의사소통 능력, 협력적 자기효능감 및 학습전이동기에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 연구이다. 연구는 2021년 10월 18일부터 2021년 12월 11일까지 간호대학생 64명이 참여하였으며 온라인 구글설문지를 이용하여 실습 전과 실습 후에 설문지를 완성하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술적 통계, paired t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자는 블렌디드 러닝을 기반으로 한 정신간호학실습프로그램 전에 비해 후에 의사소통 능력, 협력적 자기효능감과 학습전이동기가 유의미하게 상승되었다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 블렌디드 러닝을 기반으로 한 정신간호학실습프로그램의 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 추후 포스트 코로나 상황에서도 임상현장실습을 대체하여 적용할 수 있는 정신간호학실습교육의 실행성과 후속연구의 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
