  • Word sense disambiguation(WSD) that determines the exact meaning of homonym which can be used in different meanings even in one form is very important to understand the semantical meaning of text document. Many recent researches on WSD have widely used NNLM(Neural Network Language Model) in which neural network is used to represent a document into vectors and to analyze its semantics. Among the previous WSD researches using NNLM, RNN(Recurrent Neural Network) model has better performance than other models because RNN model can reflect the occurrence order of words in addition to the word appearance information in a document. However, since RNN model uses only the forward order of word occurrences in a document, it is not able to reflect natural language's characteristics that later words can affect the meanings of the preceding words. In this paper, we propose a WSD scheme using Bidirectional RNN that can reflect not only the forward order but also the backward order of word occurrences in a document. From the experiments, the accuracy of the proposed model is higher than that of previous method using RNN. Hence, it is confirmed that bidirectional order information of word occurrences is useful for WSD in Korean language.

  • We aimsto examine the determinants of visitors' positive word-of-mouth (WOM) in a web-based virtual reality contemporary art exhibition. We also examines the effects of 3 realms of experience (entertainment, esthetic, escapist) on emotional arousal, how this emotional arousal affects memory and positive word-of-mouth, how memory affects positive word-of-mouth and how age moderate all of the paths. We examined a total of 297 visitors and was conducted through an online survey focusing on Chinese users of ages 20-49. The analysis results showed that entertainment and esthetic have an effect on emotional arousal, but escapist did not. The results also showed emotional arousal has an effect on memory and positive WOM. Memory did not affect positive word-of-mouth. Finally, age has a moderate effect on all the paths, except for the path form escape towards emotional arousal and memory to positive word-of-mouth. The theoretical implications of this study are meaningful exhibition research. While, it also will be helpful to segment the web-based virtual reality art exhibition visitors by dividing into 3 groups (20s, 30s, 40s) and to provide marketing and operation strategies.

  • In this paper, we propose the technique of optimal search keyword extraction and retrieval for news article classification. The proposed technique was verified as an example of identifying trends related to North Korean construction. A representative Korean media platform, BigKinds, was used to select sample articles and extract keywords. The extracted keywords were vectorized using word embedding and based on this, the similarity between the extracted keywords was examined through cosine similarity. In addition, words with a similarity of 0.5 or higher were clustered based on the top 10 frequencies. Each cluster was formed as 'OR' between keywords inside the cluster and 'AND' between clusters according to the search form of the BigKinds. As a result of the in-depth analysis, it was confirmed that meaningful articles appropriate for the original purpose were extracted. This paper is significant in that it is possible to classify news articles suitable for the user's specific purpose without modifying the existing classification system and search form.

  • This study is concerned with the julpoong of Koguryo. The meaning, form, structure, user, the origin of the word the julpoong were examined. The pien of he ancient China and the julpoong of Koguryo were examined. The result of the analysis of this study is as follows. The Chinese and the people of Koguryo used the meanings of the julpoong differently : the Chinese referred the julpoong to the conical hat with the seams including one seam on it, while the people of Koguryo called the julpoong as the conical hat with seams excluding one seam on it. the people of Koguryo called the julpoong with one seam as the chack . The julpoong was used by all people of Koguryo : the government officials, envoys, and the commoners wore it. The word julpoong of Koguryo was derived from dulband, dulband, dubend, dolband of Persians. the word julpoong is correspondent with the above the persian words. The julpoong of Koguryo word was transliteration of dulband(dulband, dulbend, dolband) meaning turban or sash. The hat called chack by the people of 고구려 was the conical hat with one sea and their meaning of he chack was different from the meaning of the chack of the Chinese. The julpoong a kind of conical hat, was called by the pine by the ancient Chinese.

  • The regularity effect for printed word recognition and naming depends on ambiguities between single letters (small grain-size) and their phonemic values. As a given word is repeated and becomes more familiar, letter-aggregate size (grain-size) is predicted to increase, thereby decreasing the ambiguity between spelling pattern and phonological representation and, therefore, decreasing the regularity effect. Lexical decision and naming tasks studied the effect of repetition on the regularity effect for words. The familiarity of a word from was manipulated by presenting low and high frequency words as well as by presenting half the stimuli in mixed upper- and lowercase letters (an unfamiliar form) and half in uniform case. In lexical decision, the regularity effect was initially strong for low frequency words but became null after two presentations; in naming it was also initially strong but was merely reduced (although still substantial) after three repetitions. Mixed case words were recognized and named more slowly and tended to show stronger regularity effects. The results were consistent with the primary hypothesis that familiar word forms are read faster because they are processed at a larger grain-size, which requires fewer operations to achieve lexical selection. Results are discussed in terms of a neurobiological model of word recognition based on brain imaging studies.

  • In China, E-commerce live broadcast has emerged as the most popular and innovative online shopping form for today's consumers, and its "real-time interactive" feature can compensate for the communication delays of general online shopping. Based on the author's previous research it has been demonstrated that, in the E-commerce live broadcast environment, Internet Word of Mouth (IWOM) has become an important reference for consumers when making purchases. In this paper, we reconstructed the "IWOM-Purchase Intentions" model and use interaction (Auchor-Audience and Audience-Audience) as a mediating variable to empirically investigate the impact of IWOM on purchase intentions in E-commerce live broadcast. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey of individuals who had experience in E-commerce live broadcast and 250 valid data were obtained and analyzed by SPSS21.0. The results show that: the interaction (Auchor-Audience) acts as a mediator between IWOM (strength of relationship; word-of-mouth quality and word-of-mouth timeliness) and purchase intention; And the interaction (Audience-Audience) acts as a mediator between word-of-mouth timeliness on purchase intention, but has no significant mediation on the impact on the strength of relationship and word-of-mouth quality to purchase intention. On this basis, recommendations are made for the implementation of IWOM marketing strategies for E-commerce live broadcast platforms and anchors.

  • In this paper, we conducted word-to-word similarity analysis of standardized datasets collected through web crawling for 10,000 Vertical Noise Mouses using Word2Vec, and made 92 students of computer engineering use the products presented for 5 days, and conducted self-report questionnaire analysis. The questionnaire analysis was conducted by collecting the words in the form of a narrative form and presenting and selecting the top 50 words extracted from the word frequency analysis and the word similarity analysis. As a result of analyzing the similarity of e-commerce user's product review, pain (.985) and design (.963) were analyzed as the advantages of click keywords, and the disadvantages were vertical (.985) and adaptation (.948). In the descriptive frequency analysis, the most frequently selected items were Vertical (123) and Pain (118). Vertical (83) and Pain (75) were selected for the advantages of selecting the long/demerit similar words, and adaptation (89) and buttons (72) were selected for the disadvantages. Therefore, it is expected that decision makers and product planners of medium and small enterprises can be used as important data for decision making when the method applied in this study is reflected as a new product development process and a review strategy of existing products.

  • The issues in polysemy with respect to the verbs in WordNet will be discussed in this paper. The hypernymy/hyponymy structure of the multiple senses is observed when we try to build a bilingual network for Chinese and English. There are several types of polysemic patterns and a co-hypernym may have the same word form as its subordinates. Fellbaum (2000) dubbed autotroponymy that the verbs linked by mailer relation share the same verb form. However, her syntactic criteria seem not compatible to the hierarchies in WN. Either the criteria or the network should be reconducted. For most verbs in WN 1.7, polysemous relations are unlikely to extend over 3 levels of IS-A relation. Highly polysemous verbs are more complicated and may be involved in certain semantic structures. Semi-automatic sense grouping may be helpful for multimlinguital information retrieveal.
