  • In this paper an intrusion detection system technique of wireless Ad Hoc network is explained and the advantage of making them work in IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee wireless standard is also discussed. The methodology that is mentioned here is intrusion detection architecture based on a local intrusion database [1]. An ad hoc network is a collection of nodes that is connected through a wireless medium forming rapidly changing topologies. Due to increased connectivity (especially on the Internet), and the vast spectrum of financial possibilities that are opening up, more and more systems are subject to attack by intruders. An ideal IDS should able to detect an anomaly caused by the intruders quickly so that the misbehaving node/nodes can be identified and appropriate actions (e.g. punish or avoid misbehaving nodes) can be taken so that further damage to the network is minimized

  • In this paper, we consider a group mobility model to formulate a clustering mechanism called Dual Coalescent Energy-Efficient Algorithm (DCEE) which is scalable, distributed and energy-efficient for wireless mesh network. The differences of the network nodes will be distinguished to exploit heterogeneity of the network. Furthermore, a topology control, that is, adjusting the transmission range to further reduce power consumption will be integrated with the cluster formation to improve network lifetime and connectivity. Along with network lifetime and power consumption, clusterhead changes will be measured as a performance metric to evaluate the. effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm.

  • The recent increase in use of the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless connectivity in personal area networks makes of it an important technology for low-cost low-power wireless personal area networks. Studies showed that voice communications over IEEE 802.15.4 networks is feasible by Guaranteed Time Slot (GTS) allocation; but there are some constraints to accommodate voice transmission beyond two hops due to the excessive transmission delay. In this paper, we propose a GTS allocation scheme for bidirectional voice traffic in IEEE 802.15.4 multihop networks with the goal of achieving fairness and optimization of resource allocation. The proposed scheme uses a greedy algorithm to allocate GTSs to devices for successful completion of voice transmission with efficient use of bandwidth while considering closest devices with another factor for starvation avoidance. We analyze and validate the proposed scheme in terms of fairness and resource optimization through numeral analysis.

  • Nowadays, wireless packet data services are provided over Wireless MAN (WMAN) at a high data service rate, while 3G cellular networks provide wide-area coverage at a low data service rate. The integration of mobile WiMAX and 3G networks is essential, to serve users requiring both high-speed wireless access as well as wide-area connectivity. In this paper, we propose a cross-layer optimization scheme for a vertical handover between mobile WiMAX and 3G cellular networks. More specifically, L2 (layer 2) and L3 (layer 3) signaling messages for a vertical handover are analyzed and reordered/combined, to optimize the handover procedure. Extensive simulations using ns-2 demonstrate that the proposed scheme enhances the performance of a vertical handover between mobile WiMAX and 3G networks: low handover latency, high TCP throughput, and low UDP packet loss ratio.

  • Ad hoc networks are characterized by multi- hop wireless connectivity, frequently changing network topology and the need for efficient dynamic routing protocols. In this paper, we proposed a new technique to adjust the zone radius by concentrating the changes of network traffic in a particular direction, which we refer to as AZRP. We demonstrate that even though ZRP and AZRP share a similar hybrid routing behavior, the differences in the protocol mechanics can lead to significant performance differentials. We discuss the algorithm and report on the performance of AZRP scheme, and compare it to the ZRP routing protocol. Our results indicate clearly that AZRP outperforms ZRP by reducing significantly the number of route query messages. And thereby increases the efficiency of the network load.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) technology of routing protocol. The MANET has a mobility formation of mobile nodes in the wireless networks. Wireless network have two types architecture: the Tree based multicast and shared tree based. The two kind's architecture of general wireless networks have difficult to solve the problems existing in the network, such as connectivity, safety, and reliability. For this purpose, as using that ADDMRP (Ad hoc network Doppler effect-based for Dynamic Multicast Routing Protocol), this study gives the following suggestion for new topology through network durability and Omni-directional information. The proposed architectures have considered the mobility location, mobility time, density, velocity and simultaneous using node by Doppler effects and improved the performance.

  • Numerous simulation studies and researches have recently revealed the rapid development and evolution in the emerging area of intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This study aims to develop a flight performance evaluation about the wireless unmanned helicopter. The process includes the design and testing of flight hardware and software that interprets sensor data. For the unmanned helicopter used in this research, an inertial sensor that provides posture (roll, pitch and yaw angles) and a Bluetooth is used to provide wireless connection between the user's pc and the helicopter were installed in the helicopter the helicopter's pitch, roll and yaw were the communication data. The accuracy of the system was confirmed by a computer simulation. The software also has been developed to support operators and displays helicopter position and posture by graphics.

  • Future network scenario will be a heterogeneous wireless network environment composed of multiple networks and multimode terminals (MMT). Seamless switching and optimal connectivity for MMT among different networks and different services become extremely important. Here, a vertical handoff algorithm combined an improved entropy weighting method based on grey relational analysis (GRA) is proposed. In which, the improved entropy weight method is used to obtain the objective weights of the network attributes, and GRA is done to rank the candidate networks in order to choose the best network. Through simulation and comparing the results with other vertical handoff decision algorithms, the number of handoffs and reversal phenomenon are reduced with the proposed algorithm, which shows a better performance.

The construction site monitoring system integrates a long-range wireless network, network cameras, and a web-based collaborative platform. The users of the system could obtain the most updated status of construction sites, such as behaviors of workers, project progress, and site events anywhere with Internet connectivity. It was carefully configured in order to maintain the reliability under the reactive conditions of the construction sites. This paper reports the architecture of the monitoring system and reviews the related technologies. • Recently, fifth generation (5G) networks are being deployed in phases all over the world, the paradigm has shifted to developing the next generation wireless technologies, which have grown exponentially in last few decades, wireless networks are promising for the demand to enormous connections. Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) are considered as the key technoloies for next-generation beyond 5G (B5G) and sixth generation (6G) networks, in which IRS can play an important advance in the wireless propagation environment, and NOMA can effectively increase massive connectivity to improve user fairness. In this paper, we analyze a performance on the strongest channel user in terms of achievable data rates numerically. Then, with the achievable data rates, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) gain is calculated for the IRS-NOMA network over the conventional NOMA network. As a consequence, IRS-NOMA schemes have been considered as some key technologies.
