본 논문에서는 무선공중망을 이용하여 재택 혹은 원거리에서도 환자의 상태를 확인하고 감시함으로써 의료서비스의 이동성을 제공하기 위한 의료정보 무선전송 시스템을 제안하고, 시뮬레이션 하였다. 제안한 방법은 응급상황 발생 시 의료정보를 디지털 데이터로 변환하여 PDA와 같은 이동형 단말에 전송함으로써 신속한 응급처치 등이 가능토록 한다. 시뮬레이션은 이동 무선채널환경에서 신뢰성 있는 의료정보의 전송을 위하여 IEEE 802.11a에 근거한 OFDM/QPSK 전송방식을 사용하였고, AWGN과 3-ray 이동 다중경로 페이딩 환경에서 신뢰성 있는 정보전송을 위하여 콘볼루션 코딩을 적용하여 시스템 성능을 분석하였다.

Recently, PDA and cellular phone with color LCD have been widely used in various fields by high efficiency and micro miniaturization technology. According to maturity of these mobile environments, user request about mobile application field is increased. Mobile applications provide various information which is concerned with user's position through cable and wireless transmission. This paper discusses the issues related to the mobile framework for integrated 4S data. The integrated 4S data mean spatial data fusion on GIS, SIIS, ITS, and GNSS. The mobile framework provides not only spatial data but also location services such as reverse geocoding, directory service, etc. It consists of client subsystem, service provider, and data provider.

본 논문에서는 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)를 이용한 차세대 위치기반서비스를 위한 분산 DB 제어기(DB Scheduler)와 XML interpreter 및 UI Manager를 개발하고 구현하였다. 분산 DB 제어기에서는 지리적으로 뜯어져있는 많은 분산 DB의 데이터에 대해 실시간으로 지능적 수집 및 변경 등이 가능하도록 하는 DB 제어기술을 개발하였으며, XML Interpreter 및 UI Manager에서는 하나의 단말기로 다양한 환경 및 서비스 수용이 가능하도록 하는 클라이언트용 기능 개발을 하였으며 단말기를 서비스 및 목적에 맞게 customize 할 수 있도록 단말기 기종별 개발 언어 등 세부 규격을 분석하고 가능한 국제 표준을 따라 설계서를 작성하였다.

In this paper, we propose query restructure method which realizes not only to present the result from database in Web page but also to adapt user's browsing environments. Recently, wireless PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and portable phone and terminals equipped with Web browser become very popular. Various browsers would be required to create the HTML which adapt to the user's browsing environment. We propose an adaptive data presentation system which is an extension of SQL which creates HTML pages dynamically adapting to the size of screen. In our proposed method, the three basic rules for the layout conversion are provided and applying these rules, an efficient layout conversion technique optimized to user environment is proposed. Moreover, we propose a standard for converting layouts and a layout optimization for adaptive conversion of layouts.

본 논문은 기존에 제안되어 있는 RSVP와 Mobile If물 바탕으로 무선 이동환경에서 QoS 보장과 단말의 이동성을 동시에 지원할 수 있는 통신미들웨어 플랫폼을 설계하고 개발한다. 목표시스템은 마이크로소프트사의 Windows CE 운영체제를 기반으로 하며, Windows CE 운영체제 및 PDA 하드웨어 시스템의 제한된 자원과 프로그래밍 API 지원에 따른 문제점을 해결한다. 이동환경에서의 RSVP를 위한 미들웨어상의 통신 모듈을 개발하고 Mobile IP 모듈과 연동하기 위한 방법을 설계하고 구현한다. 802.11b 무선랜 기반의 실험망을 구축하고, 개발된 PDA용 통신 미들웨어 플랫폼의 기능과 성능을 검증하고 그 활용방안을 제시한다.

Mobile devices such as cellular phones and PDA become a part of our life by extreme improvement of Wireless internet and arriving the age of Ubiquitous. Especially it makes increasing rapidly the expectations about a field of remote control that is great advantage of Mobile devices. Existing computer remote control systems are hard to meet user's appropriate manage when error happened because Clients could not recognize the state of several remote controlled computers which connected to web server. This paper Implementation remote computer control system that immediately after errors happen by send error massages in the from of a SMS to client by set the clients with cellular phone that most generally used Mobile devices.

Recent development in wireless communication technology, like GPS, and mobile equipments, like PDA and cellular phone, make location-based services (LBSs) popular. However, because, users continuously request a query to a server in the LBSs by using their exact locations, privacy information could be in danger. Therefore, a mechanism for users' privacy protection is required for the safe and comfortable use of LBSs by mobile users. For this, we, in this paper, propose a grid-based cloaking area creation scheme supporting continuous LBSs in peer-to-peer environment. The proposed scheme creates a cloaking area by using Chord protocol, so as to support the continuous LBSs in peer-to-peer environment. Finally, we show from a performance analysis that our cloaking scheme outperforms the existing cloaking schemes, in terms of service time.

Numerous researches on network self-configuration have been conducted on Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) and Ad Hoc network but the results have not been applied yet for factory automation. This paper presents development of intelligent process management systems conducting process monitoring and control irrelevant to physical position of a plant operator. The systems are indispensable for diagnosis of rotating machines which cannot exploit wired network. The system was implemented in a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) using Bluetooth communication protocol. When a mobile terminal reaches to communication range of the process management server, the server detects the mobile terminal to reconfigure plant network automatically. The server authenticates a user of the terminal to download and installs monitoring and control program considering authorized level of the user. If the terminal leaves communication range of the server, it deletes the node from the network and removes the program automatically to save resources and prevent security problems such as missing terminal. Operation of developed functions was verified in a testbed emulating steel-making plant.

An ECG analysis with activity monitoring for the home care of elderly persons or patients, using wireless sensors technology was design and implemented. The changes in heart rate occur before, during, or following behavior such as posture changes, walking and running. Therefore, it is often very important to record heart rate along with posture and behavior, for continuously monitoring a patient's cardiovascular regulatory system during their daily life activity. The ECG and accelerometer data are continuously recorded with a built-in automatic alarm detection system, for giving early alarm signals even if the patient is unconscious or unaware of cardiac arrhythmias. The hardware allows data to be transmitted wirelessly from on-body sensors to a base station attached to server PC using IEEE802.15.4. If any abnormality un at server then the alarm condition sends to the doctor' PDA (Personal Digital Assistant).

This paper is designed to search the new alternatives to supplement the inconvenience of the traditional written ballot method which is executed every early semester to select the class board at the school. It is prepared on the based the results of the design and implement of the wired/wireless inter-working mobile electronic voting system where the students can participate in the real-time class board selection and the decision-making utilizing the mobile phones, PDA and PC they commonly have. It is time when we should consider introducing the electronic voting system, to minimize the students' inconvenience and the subsequent missing class, having to wait in the long line in the designated place to select the class board at every election season. This system enables the students to participate wherever they are other than the common place as well. Further, this research will provide the opportunity to think over the new school election culture in line with the age of Ubiquitous, as well as the useful means in the field to promote the active participation of the parents and students in the students' self-administration, decision-making necessary at the schools.
