  • In this paper, using diplexer structure and varactor diode controlled by reverse bias voltage for diplexer switch gives possibilities to improve isolation and current characteristics. 1 have newly designed switch with high isolation by application varactor diode corresponding to capacitor of diplexer. The low-pass filter for proposed tunable diplexer passes the microwave signal in the bandwidth for wireless cellular network systems and high-pass filter passes it in the bandwidth for wireless personal communication services (PCS) network systems. As the capacitance of the low-pass filter increases, the cut-off frequency can be moved to low frequency, so that the switch is on state in cellular bandwidth and off state in the PCS bandwidth, in contrast to, as the capacitance for attenuation characteristic of high-pass filter increases, it can be moved to high frequency, so that the switch is off state and on state in the cellular bandwidth. it is possible to improve isolation and current consumption characteristics by application diplexer design methods and varactor diode. 1 expect that the tunable diplexer circuit and design methods should be able to find applications on MMIC and low temperature copired ceramic (LTCC).

  • In this study, we propose characteristics improvement methods according to via hole plating method for FBAR Duplexer with US PCS($T_x$:1850MHz~1910MHz, $R_x$:1930MHz~1990MHz) bandwidth which is used for wireless systems. Also, we designed and fabricated 3.8*3.8*1.8mm size microminiature FBAR Duplexer based on this proposal. First of all, in this study, we fabricated pentagon shape resonators by different size to make filter combination, and their quality factor(Q) are 687 with 6.6% of $k_{eff}^2$. Using this resonators, designed 3*2Type $T_x$ filter and 3*4Type $R_x$ filter. The transmission line, which works as phase shifter, is designed with $210{\mu}m$ in width and 18mm in length Stripline type. Inductor, which is used for matching component, is designed with width of $75{\mu}m$, a technically achievable minimum width. And adopted plating method of filling via hole with conductive epoxy for improved grounding and thermal conductivity. Using these configuration with all of the matching component values, we found Duplexer characteristics of -1.57dB ~ -1.73dB in insertion loss, -56dB in attenuation at 1850MHz~1910MHz of $T_x$ band. Also, found -2.71 dB ~ -3.23dB in insertion loss, -58dB in attenuation at 1930MHz~1990MHz of $R_x$ band.

  • In this paper, two novel subsurface antennas for remote management of underground facilities using PCS and cellular wireless network are proposed. The proposed subsurface antenna is a dual band circular patch which is inserted and molded for the protection of the antenna into a metal such as a manhole cover. The antenna is designed considering the resonant frequency shift of the antenna due to the insertion and molding. The measured return loss and receiving power of the fabricated antenna comparison with a dipole shows that two proposed subsurface antenna can be used for remote management of underground facilities using PCS and cellular systems.

  • In the era of the pandemic, the importance of a wireless LAN environment has become increasingly important, especially as the era of smart working and non-face-to-face education has become a universal and daily routine. Smartphones, tablets, laptops, PCs, smart watches, and wearable devices, collective referred to as wireless terminals, can be accessed anytime and anywhere through the internet, allowing for consistent and constant access to offices, factories, warehouses, shopping malls, railways, hotels, hospitals, schools, logistics centers, airports, exhibition halls, etc. This sort of access is currently being used in roads, parks, traditional markets, and ports. Since the release of the IEEE 802.11 Legacy Standard in 1997, Wi-Fi technology has been continuously supplemented and revised, and the standard has been continuously developed. In the era of smart working, the importance of efficient wireless deployment and scientific design has become more important. The importance of wireless in the smart factory, in the metaverse era, in the era of pursuing work and life that transcend time and space by using AR, VR, MR, and XR, it is more urgent to solve the shadow area of Wi-Fi. Through this study, we intend to verify the wireless failure problem of the xr training center and suggest improvement measures.

  • In this paper, a small internal antenna for a mobile handset is presented using multiband, wideband, and high-isolation multiple-input multiple-output techniques. The proposed antenna consists of three planar inverted-F antennas (PIFAs) that operate in the global system for mobile communication (GSM900), the digital communication system (DCS), the personal communication system (PCS), the universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS), and wireless local area network (WLAN) bands with a physical size of $40mm{\times}10mm{\times}10mm$. A resonator attached to the folded PIFA creates dual resonances, achieving a wide bandwidth of approximately 460 MHz, covering the DCS, PCS, and UMTS bands; a meander shorting line is used to improve impedance matching. Additionally, a modified neutralization link is embedded between diversity antennas to enhance isolation, which results in a 6-dB improvement in the isolation and less than 0.1 in the envelope correlation coefficient evaluated from the far-field radiation patterns. Simulation and measurements demonstrate very similar results for S-parameters and radiation patterns. Peak gains show 3.73 dBi, 3.77 dBi, 3.28 dBi, 2.15 dBi, and 5.86 dBi, and antenna efficiencies show 56.15%, 72.15%, 68.59%, 52.92%, and 82.93% for GSM900, DCS, PCS, UMTS, and WLAN bands, respectively.

  • This paper describes RF front-end transceiver chipset for the dual-mode operation of PCS-Korea and IMT-2000. The transceiver chipset has been implemented in a $0.25\mutextrm{m}$ single-poly five-metal CMOS technology. The receiver IC consists of a LNA and a down-mixer, and the transmitter IC integrates an up-mixer. Measurements show that the transceiver chipset covers the wide RF range from 1.8GHz for PCS-Korea to 2.1GHz for IMT-2000. The LNA has 2.8~3.1dB NF, 14~13dB gain and 5~4dBm IIP3. The down mixer has 15.5~16.0dB NF, 15~13dB power conversion gain and 2~0dBm IIP3. The up mixer has 0~2dB power conversion gain and 6~3dBm OIP3. With a single 3.0V power supply, the LNA, down-mixer, and up-mixer consume 6mA, 30mA, and 25mA, respectively.

  • According to the increasing of mobile phone users, its service also has been increasing to satisfy their needs. Now wireless service providers have been investing a lot of man-power and efforts on the quality of service. So I developed 'worst cells program' which help to maintain the systems effectively by analyzing and administrating them. It has made for performance analyzing which can predict system damages and handle it in advance by measuring and administrating 'establishment rate' and 'dropped call rate'of cells. It'll help system providers(vendors) and service providers to enhance their impression and reliability to their customers.

  • A wireless Internet proxy server cluster has to Distillation and Caching functions in order that a user on wireless internet can use existing wired internet service. Distillation function works to distill HTML documents and included images according to the defined preference by a user. When a user requests repeatedly, Caching function decreases response time by reusing original and distilled images or HTML documents. In this paper, we proposed enhanced distillation and caching functions. We performed experiments using 16 PCs and experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed system compared to the existing system.

  • Over the past several years both licensed and unlicensed services and devices have enjoyed extensive growth in the wireless marketplace. In some urban areas in the Kazakhstan, the penetration rate of licensed cellular and PCS services is more than 60%. Similarly, the use of unlicensed wireless local area network technologies has grown significantly as these systems have been deployed in homes, offices, and 'hot spots' in restaurants, hotels, public meeting areas, etc. As more services are wirelessly enabled and as technologies continue to evolve, the demand for new spectrum for commercial services will also continue to increase. Thus, the appropriate regulatory models for future spectrum allocations will continue to be debated throughout the wireless industry.
