  • As different from wired internet, wireless internet has limitations due to the following characteristics; low bandwidth, frequent disconnection, low computing power, small screen in user terminal, and user mobility. Also, wireless internet server should be scalable to handle a large scale traffic due to rapidly growing users. Wireless proxy servers are used for the wireless internet because their caching and transcoding functions are helpful to overcome the above limitation. TranSend was proposed as a clustering based wireless proxy server but its scalability is difficult to achieve because there is no systematic way to do it. In this Paper. we proposed a clustering based wireless internet proxy server which can be scalable in a systematic way. We performed experiments using 16 PCs and experimental results show 32.17% performance improvement of the proposed system compared to TranSend system.

  • Mobile internet has been emerged as a key IT infrastructure while mobile internet service equipments such as smart phones have been introduced in this mobile market. These mobile internet services would be more widely spread in shorter period because the wired internet services are already popular in our life and mobile internet services have the typical characteristics that ubiquitous has. This study investigates the research model for mobile internet services based on previous researches and tests it via questionnaire. The findings are that some of features such as joy and sufficiency are statistically significant as expected.

  • Currently, almost of all the Internet users have as many IDs as the number of sites they have subscribed for, The users should memorize and input every independent ID and password whenever they want to login to the system. Although ID management system is used to solve this problem, 10 and password management will become more complicated in the forthcoming ubiquitous computing environments because so many computers will be interconnected on various kinds of wired and wireless networks, Furthermore, it is not enough to use the existing single Circle of Trust (COT) ID management system for the forthcoming computing environments. To solve this problem, the paper proposes ID federation models in multiple COT domain and implements an ID federation system that can be scaled to mobile computing environment as well as wired computing environment. The proposed ID federation models has been verified to operate with no problem between the systems in different trust domains by doing the ID scaability test.

  • For recent years, the environment of use on internet has been changed from the wired internet access to the wireless internet access increasingly, and the use of real time application data has been increased. Therefore the research and evolution of wireless network for providing of user's mobility and QoS at the same time must be essential. IETF already proposed Mobile IPv6 for providing mobility and RSVP for QoS through resource reservation. These future are expected to be used not only wired network but also wireless network. But there are not yet proposed the integration and efficient interworking of two mechanism. For the solution of problem on efficient interworking issue, for instance signaling overhead and reservation delay increasing due to often handoff, this paper first proposed to use of IETF Cellular IP based on Mobile IPv6 for wireless network model with fast mobility and a improved RSVP mechanism using the flow label field in IPv6 header.

  • Recently, Voice over Internet protocol(VoIP) in IP-based wired and wireless voice, as well as by providing multimedia information transfer. Wired and wireless VoIP is easy on illegal eavesdropping of phone calls and VoIP call control signals on the network. In addition, service misuse attacks, denial of service attacks can be targeted as compared to traditional landline phones, there are several security vulnerabilities. In this paper, VoIP equipment in order to obtain information on the IP Phone is scanning. And check the password of IP Phone, and log in successful from the administrator's page. Then after reaching the page VoIP IP Phone Administrator Settings screen, phone number, port number, certification number, is changed. In addition, IP Phones that are registered in the administrator page of the call records check and personal information is the study of hacking.

  • Recently, the era in which various services using smart devices are used is sometimes referred to as the so-called "smart era". Among these, Smart Home Service' have not only brought about significant changes in the residential environment and culture, but are evolving very rapidly. and The 'Smart Home Service' provides more convenient services to users through communication between various electronic products in general homes, and has a bright future in the future. In particular,'Smart Home Service' provides various services combined based on IoT(Internet of Things) technology and wired/wireless communication in connection between various devices. However, such a "smart home service" inherits the security vulnerabilities of the underlying technologies such as the Internet of Things and wired and wireless communication technologies, and accidents that lead to the leakage of personal information and invasion of privacy continue to occur. So, it is necessary to prepare a countermeasure and prevention against the weak factors of the underlying technologies. Therefore, this paper is expected to be used as basic data for future application technology development and countermeasure technology by examining various security vulnerability factors of 'Smart Home Service'.

  • The electronic voting becomes new challenging area in cryptographic application. A variety of schemes are designed and implemented based on cryptographic protocols. Initiated by ICU, one of best practices was votopia[1] which was successfully served into the Internet voting based on modified Ohkubo et al.'s scheme[2] under Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Java technology. Votopia was used to select the Most Valuable Player and Best Goal Keepers of 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan$\^$TM/ through the Internet where most voters can access and cast their ballots from any place and at any time. However, votopia assumed that the resources of the Internet voters only connected via wired environment. In this paper, we suggest how to extend votopia to mobile voting which has limited computing resources.

  • TCP protocol is originally designed for the wired network in which the packet loss in mostly caused the network congestion, and thus the performance of protocol can be decreased in mobile Internet environment due to the comparatively high error rate of wireless link. This paper analyzes the influence of retransmission interference that is a major factor to the TCP performance decrease. We first build a model in order to simulate the mobile Internet environment that includes the wireless network, and then we implement a program using PARSEC simulation language and finally executed the program. Based on the simulation results, we suggest a method that reduce the effect of the retransmission interference.

  • As internet streaming data increase, transport protocol such as TCP, TGP-Friendly is important to study control transmission rate and share of Internet bandwidth. In this paper, we propose a TCP-Friendly protocol using Neural Network for media delivery over wired Internet which has various traffic size(PTFRC). PTFRC can effectively send streaming data when occur congestion and predict one-step ahead round trip time and packet loss rate. A multi-layer perceptron structure is used as the prediction model, and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is used as a traning algorithm. The performance of the PTFRC was evaluated by the share of Bandwidth and packet loss rate with various protocols.

  • As wireless internet market grows rapidly in recent years, demands of various contents in wireless internet is significantly being increased. XHTML with extensibility that can support many kinds of internet web clients and platforms is established in world-wide standards of markup language. XHTML reforming HTML4 in XML 1.0 is recognized that It is the heart of the technology to integrate existing contents and increase the interoperability in wired and wireless internet. XHTML Basic for wireless internet are based on the XHTML. In this paper, we design and implement an document editor for XHTML Basic.'rho wireless internet document editor supports CSS creation that users can display XHTML Basic documents as they want. It also supports WYSIWYG editing that user4 inn make out them without difficulty.
