  • Due to the development of communication technology and expansion of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), the car is changing from a simple mechanical device to second living space which has comprehensive convenience function and is evolved into the platform which is playing as an interface for this role. As the interface area to provide various information to the passenger is being expanded, the research importance about smart car based user experience is rising. This study has a research objective to propose the guidelines regarding the smart car user experience elements. In order to conduct this study, smart car user experience elements were defined as function, interaction, and surface and through the discussions of UX/UI experts, 8 representative techniques, 14 representative techniques, and 8 locations of the glass windows were specified for each element. Following, the smart car users' priorities of the experience elements, which were defined through targeting 100 drivers, were analyzed in the form of questionnaire survey. The analysis showed that the users' priorities in applying the main techniques were in the order of safety, distance, and sensibility. The priorities of the production method were in the order of voice recognition, touch, gesture, physical button, and eye tracking. Furthermore, regarding the glass window locations, users prioritized the front of the driver's seat to the back. According to the demographic analysis on gender, there were no significant differences except for two functions. Therefore this showed that the guidelines of male and female can be commonly applied. Through user requirement analysis about individual elements, this study provides the guides about the requirement in each element to be applied to commercialized product with priority.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the role of professional identity as mediating variable in the relationship between job- and organization- related factors and job satisfaction. This study surveyed social workers who worked at 24 senior welfare facilities in Daegu·Gyeoungbuk province from Aug. 1. to Aug. 30. 2006. A total of 137 questionnaires were collected using on-site survey (response rate 76.7%). Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows. Descriptive analysis and frequency analysis were performed on overall measurement items and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to test the mediating effect of professional identity. The reliability of statements was acceptable since the coefficient alphas were > .70. Results of hierarchical regression showed that professional identity was verified as a partial mediator in the relationship between factors related with job and organization and job satisfaction. As the population ages, there will be an increasing need for professional social workers effectively to work with and help care for the elderly. This study highlighted that job- and organization- related factors, namely self-regulations and social supports, are significantly related with job satisfaction of social workers. Especially, such effect was more significantly apparent in high professional identity which is playing a partial mediator. This result implies that there is potential to change work environments of social workers ensuring a delegation of power and responsibility. Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the promotion system and connect social worker as servant with community through diverse service learning programs.

All the input data settings of the 3-DFM model which is developed in this study are organized in Korean, and the model contains help function for each input data. Thus, it is designed to get detailed information about each input parameter when the mouse pointer is placed on the corresponding input parameter. This model also is designed to easily specify the geologic boundary condition for each stratum or initial head data in the work sheet. In addition, this model is designed to display boxes for input parameter writing for each analysis condition so that the setting for each parameter is not so complicated as existing MODFLOW is when steady and unsteady flow analysis are performed as well as the analysis for the characteristics of each stratum. Descriptions for input data are displayed on the right side of the window while the analysis results are displayed on the left side as well as the TXT file for this results is available to see. The model developed in this study is a numerical model using finite differential method, and the applicability of the model was examined by comparing and analyzing observed and simulated groundwater heads computed by the application of real recharge amount and the estimation of parameters. The 3-DFM model is applied in this study to Sehwa-ri, and Songdang-ri area, Jeju, Korea for analysis of groundwater flow system according to pumping, and obtained the results that the observed and computed groundwater head were almost in accordance with each other showing the range of 0.03 - 0.07 error percent. It is analyzed that the groundwater flow distributed evenly from Nopen-orum and Munseogi-orum to Wolang-bong, Yongnuni-orum, and Songja-bong through the computation of equipotentials and velocity vector using the analysis result of simulation which was performed before the pumping started in the study area. These analysis results show the accordance with MODFLOW's.

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze several factors that can affect the respiration rate measurement using the Creative Senz3D depth camera. Depth error and noise of the depth camera were considered as affecting factors. Ambient light was also considered. The result of this study showed that the depth error was increased with an increase of the distance between subject and depth camera. The result also showed depth asymmetry in the depth image. The depth values measured in right region of the depth image was higher than real distance and depth values measured in left of the depth image was lower than real distance. The difference error of the depth was influenced by the orientation of the depth camera. The noise created by the depth camera was increased as the distance between subject and depth camera was increased and it decreased as the window size was increased which was used to calculate noise level. Ambient light seems to have no influence on the depth value. In real environment, we measured respiration rate. Participants were asked to breathe 20 times. We could find that the respiration rate which was measured from depth camera shows excellent agreement with that of participants.

  • Busulfan is an antineoplastic agent with a narrow therapeutic window. A post-hoc population pharmacokinetic analysis of a prospective randomized trial for comparison of four-times daily versus once-daily intravenous busulfan was carried out to search for predictive factors of intravenous busulfan (iBu) pharmacokinetics (PK). In this study the population PK of iBu was characterized to provide suitable dosing recommendations. Patients were randomized to receive iBu, either as 0.8 mg/kg every 6 h or 3.2 mg/kg daily over 4 days prior to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. In total, 295 busulfan concentrations were analyzed with NONMEM. Actual body weight and sex were significant covariates affecting the PK of iBu. Sixty patients were included in the study (all Korean; 23 women, 37 men; mean [SD] age, 36.5 [10.9] years; weight, 66.5 [11.3] kg). Population estimates for a typical patient weighing 65 kg were: clearance (CL) 7.6 l/h and volume of distribution (Vd) 32.2 l for men and 29.1 L for women. Inter-individual random variabilities of CL and $V_d$ were 16% and 9%. Based on a CL estimate from the final PK model, a simple dosage scheme to achieve the target $AUC_{0-inf}$ (defined as median AUC0-inf with a once-daily dosage) of 26.18 $mg/l{\cdot}hr$, was proposed: $24.79{\cdot}ABW^{0.5}mg$ q24h, where ABW represents the actual body weight in kilograms. The dosing scheme reduced the unexplained interindividual variabilities of CL and Vd of iBu with ABW being a significant covariate affecting clearance of iBU. We propose a new simple dosing scheme for iBu based only on ABW.

  • In this study, we have tried to identify the relationship between the patient's health belief and the implementation of functional movement rehabilitation and ability to perform ADL in stroke patient, and have done this study to use this as evidence in treating stroke patients in clinical trials by providing a basis data of stroke patients' successful rehabilitation program. We targeted stroke patients who were diagnosed with stroke and are hospitalized in D hospital in J City, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. More over, we distributed a total of 150 questionnaires to patients who understand the purpose of the research and agreed to participate. We were able to collect 132questionnaires at the end. However, 11 had insufficient data so we only analyzed and evaluated 121 of the said questionnaires. We did frequency analysis to understand the general characteristics by using SPSS for Windows(ver.12.0) program and we used Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and regression analysis to know the relationship between the patient's health beliefs and the implementation of rehabilitation and ability to perform ADL in stroke patients. The results of this study shows that patients with higher perceived sensitivity, perceived benefit and perceived severity equates to an implementation of the rehabilitation better, however patients with a lower perceived disability equates an implementation of functional movement rehabilitation better than those with a higher perceived disability.
