한글형 Chipless RFID tag 신호의 분석 (Signal analysis of Hangul shaped Chipless RFID Tag)

  • 본 논문에서는 RFID tag의 한 종류이며 가격경쟁력이 뛰어난 chipless RFID tag를 한글의 형태로 제안하고 있다. 한글형 chipless RFID tag는 육안으로도 인식이 가능하면서 동시에 기계적 언어로도 인식이 가능하다는 장점을 가지며, 이러한 한글형 chipless RFID tag를 위해 대표적인 한글 자음 10가지와 모음 10가지를 조합하여 34개의 문자를 시뮬레이션 하여 RCS값을 데이터 베이스화하였다. 시뮬레이션된 특정 문자의 RCS값에 잡음을 추가하여 실측 환경을 모델링하고 데이터베이스화 된 각 문자의 RCS 데이터와의 차에 대한 분산을 구하는 알고리즘을 통해 대조함으로써 해당 문자를 인식하는 방법을 사용하였다.

연속식 현미 조질기 개발 (Development of a Continuous Type Brown Rice Conditioning Equipment)

  • To improve the milling condition of brown rice a continuous type conditioning equipment was developed. To validate the performance of this machine the experimental operation was done at Sa-cheon RPC(Rice Processing Complex) using short grain rough. The initial moisture contents of brown rice were 15.0∼16.5%(w.b) and the flow rate of brown rice passing through the conditioner were 4,370kg per hour. The moisture content differences of brown rice between conditioned and non-conditioned were showed within 0.5%(w.b) This results means that the water injected to brown rice were absorbed to the surface of brown rice evenly. The moisture contents of conditioned treated milled rice were showed slightly higher than that of non-conditioned ones but it was considered that the conditioning process did not affected the weight increasing of milled rice by water supply. For initial moisture contents of 15.0∼16.5%(wb) brown rice it was found that the proper water supply rate was 0.115(cc-water)/(kg·%-brown rice) and the increments of whole rice were 2.2% compared to the non-conditioned ones. it was considered that the conditioning process did not influenced the whiteness of milled rice because the whiteness differences between conditioned and non-conditioned milled rice were negligible. About 18% of electric power which drives the abrasive type rice milling machine was saved at 0.115(cc-water)/(kg·%-brown rice) of water supply rate.

INFLUENCE OF PROCESSING ON THE SITE AND EXTENT OF DIGESTION OF HIGH MOISTURE BARLEY IN CATTLE

  • Two experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of processing and method of ensiling on the digestion and utilization of high moisture barley (HMB) in cattle. In experiment 1, four Holstein heifers were assigned in a Latin square design to diets containing 70% barley, 25% alfalfa hay and 5% supplement on a dry matter (DM) basis. Diets differed only in the type of barley fed: rolled dry barley (R-DB), rolled HBM (R-HMB), ground HMB (G-HMB) or unprocessed HMB (U-HMB). In experiment 2, three Holstein steers were fed 85.2% barley, 10.2% whole plant barley silage and 4.6% supplement on a DM basis. Again, diets differed only in the type of barley fed: R-DB, rolled HMB from a pit silo (Pit-HMB) or rolled HMB from a Harvestore silo (HAV-HMB). In experiment 1, digestibility coefficients for animals fed R-HMB were significantly higher than observed for U-HMB. While not significant, a similar trend for decreased digestibility was observed for R-DB and G-HMB. Animals fed HMB had significantly lower ruminal propionate concentrations. In addition, the rate of degradation of the degradable DM and crude protein (CP) fractions was slower for HMB than for dry barley. In experiment 2, a trend to lower digestibility coefficients was observed for animal fed R-DB compared to those fed Pit-HMB or HAV-HMB. Ruminal propionate concentrations for animals fed R-DB also tended to be higher than for those fed the HMB diets. Dry matter and CP disappearances from nylon bags was substantially lower for Pit-HMB than for R-DB or HAV-HMB. The results suggest that replacement of dry barley by rolled or unprocessed HMB in the diet of animals fed high grain diets may contribute to a more stable rumen environment.

계미자본(癸未字本) 『사시찬요(四時纂要)』의 서지적(書誌的) 연구(硏究) (An Bibliographic Analysis on the Gyemi Metal Type Sasichanyo)

  • 본 연구의 대상본인 계미자본 "사시찬요(四時纂要)"는 조선 초기 주자소(鑄字所)에서 태종(太宗)의 명에 의하여, 주조(鑄造)된 활자인 계미자(癸未字)(1403-1420)를 이용하여 인출 및 간행된 농서(農書)이다. 이제까지 동북아에서 알려진 "사시찬요(四時纂要)"의 판본 가운데 가장 이른 시기의 간행본이며 본문의 내용은 월령식(月令式) 농가잡록(農家雜錄)이 수록되어 있고, 그 주제는 '농업', '농 부산품 가공', '의약 위생', '기구수리 보관', '상업 경영' 등이다. 구체적으로는 "사시찬요(四時纂要)"를 소개하고 분석하여 그 가치와 의미를 파악한 후에 나아가 판본간의 비교, 계미자 소자(小字)의 자형(字形), 조판기술(組版技術)을 체계적으로 정리하였으며 특히 책의 인면(印面)을 중심으로 글자를 소자(小字), 특소자(特小字), 극소자(極小字)로 구분하여 그 기능과 특징을 살펴보았다.

브로일러계열화 생산조직에 관한 고찰 - 미국의 예를 중심으로 - (Integrated Broiler Production System - As a Means of Stabilizing Whole Industry with Particular Reference to U.S. Experience -)

  • The basic problem of the broiler industry is that of fluctuating prices, mainly thanks to unstable supply of and inelastic demand for products as usually indicated as a peculiarity of agricultural commodities. This particularly brings the producer to a great economic risk, because he has to sell products under the condition of pure competition, whereas others from whom he has to buy deal under the condition of oligopoly or even monopoly. Therefore, producers economic position is generally placed in the worst comparing others dealing with, which results in unbalanced economic status of elements involved in broiler operation and further obstruction of industry development as a whole. A certain type of business coordination to overcome such a problem should be measured in order to improve the efficiency of entire operation and thus assure the balanced industry development. The concept of the economic integration developed in modern business system had been adapted to U.S. poultry industry which became common later around the world as a means of stabilizing producers price and whole industry as well. There are two main typos of integration; horizontal and vertical The former refers to the general grouping of similar business units, eg. a hatchery tying with other hatchery, while the latter refers to the knitting together of two or more stages of economic activities, eg. tying together among units of hatching, fled milling, production, processing and marketing. By having the industry integrated, risk and uncertainty involved in various stages of operation could be diversified. The typo of integrating contract between producers and integrators include the share of profits, flat fee payment, feed conversion payment and salary basis. In the U.S., extensive changes in production, processing, and marketing during the last few decades have changed the thicken broiler industry from one of small, widely scattered farms to one that is largo, concentrated and efficient. More than 99 percent of all broilers produced are grown under contract and by integrated firms which vary in size of operation and complexity. About 84 percent of all production is concentrated in 10 States. Some of the other factors ;hat contributed to these choses arc costs, energy use, prices, processing, marketing and demand. No integrated broiler production system has yet been applied in Korea's poultry industry, thus all stages all broiler operation run independently seeking for its own profit. Consequently, producers price fluctuate very widely around the year even more than 50 percent in a few months. This also leads to disadvantages of material supplies, processors and distributors and enforce the industry unstable. The current economic environment in Korea seems that the time for broiler integration comes and as an ideal integrator, feed millers, food processors and producers group may be considered.

미국산과 인도산 옥수수의 steam flaking 처리가 공정라인별 mycotoxin 함량의 변화와 in vitro 발효 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Steam Flaking of Corns imported from USA and India on the in vitro Fermentation Characteristic and the Mycotixin Contents of Logistic Processing Line)

  • 본 연구는 미국산 옥수수와 인도산 옥수수의 steam flaking 처리가 in vtro 가스발생량과 미생물 성장량 그리고 곰팡이 독소 aflatoxin $B_1$과 ochratoxin A의 농도에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 실험 설계는 4개의 처리구, (1) USCW (미국산 무처리 옥수수), (2) USCF (미국산 steam flaking 옥수수 ), (3) IDCW (인도산 무처리 옥수수) 그리고 (4) IDCF (인도산 steam flaking 옥수수), 처리구당 4반복으로 6개의 발효시간대(3, 6, 9, 12, 18 및 24)를 두고 in vitro 실험을 수행하였다. 공시한 옥수수중 aflatoxin $B_1$이나 ochratoxin A와 같은 곰팡이 독소의 함량은 항구, hopper, 사일로 그리고 가공 전까지 보관기간이 길어짐에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 공정라인별로 곰팡이 독소를 측정한 결과 입고 시 인도산 옥수수(IDCW)와 미국산 옥수수 (USCW)의 aflatoxin $B_1$ 수치는 각각 11.71 ppb와 1.78 ppb으로 나타났지만 steam flaking 후의 aflatoxin $B_1$ 함량은 USCW 구와 IDCW구에서 전혀 검출되지 않아(0.00 ppb) steam flaking 처리가 곰팡이 Aspergillus flavus를 감소시킬 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나 이러한 경향은 ochratoxin A 함량에서 관찰되지 않았다. In vitro 실험에서 gas 발생량은 원산지별로는 미국산 옥수수 (USCW & USCF)가 인도산 옥수수 (IDCW & IDCF) 보다 유의적으로 높았으며 가공 처리별로는 steam flaking 처리한 옥수수가 알곡 옥수수보다 발효 3시간대를 기준으로 $1.5{\sim}2%$ 정도 높았다. 배양액 중의 pH 는 $6.05{\sim}6.54$의 범위로서 미생물이 성장하기에 적정한 pH를 유지하였으며 처리 구간에 유의적인 차이는 찾아 볼 수 없었으나 USCF구의 pH가 다른구에 비해 다소 낮았다. pH는 배양 12 시간까지 감소하였으며 이 시간 중에 가스 발생량은 급격히 증가하였다. In vitro 미생물 성장량도 발효 18시간까지 증가하다가 그 이후 시간대에서는 성장량이 증체를 보이거나 오히려 감소하는 경향이었다. 결론적으로 원산지별로는 in vitro 실험결과와 곰팡이 독소 함량을 기준으로, 미국산 옥수수가 인도산 옥수수보다는 품질이 훨씬 높았으며, 수입산 옥수수의 steam flaking 처리는 invitro 가스발생량 및 미생물 성장량을 개선 시킬 뿐만 아니라, aflatoxin $B_1$이나 ochratoxin A와 같은 곰팡이 독소를 감소시키는 역할을 하였다.

차세대 웨이퍼 생산시스템에서의 실시간 스케줄링 시스템 아키텍처 (A Real-Time Scheduling System Architecture in Next Generation Wafer Production System)

  • In the environment of 450mm wafers production known as the next-generation semiconductor production process, one of the most significant features is the full automation over the whole manufacturing processes involved. The full automation system for 450mm wafer production will minimize the human workers' involvement in the manufacturing process as much as possible. In addition, since the importance of an individual wafer processing increases noticeably, it is necessary to develop more robust scheduling systems in the whole manufacturing process than so ever. The scheduling systems for the next-generation semiconductor production processes also should be capable of monitoring individual wafers and collecting useful data on them in real time. Based on the information gathered from these processes, the system should finally have a real-time scheduling functions controlling whole the semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this study, preliminary investigations on the requirements and needed functions for constructing the real time scheduling system and transforming manufacturing environments for 300mm wafers to those of 400mm are conducted and through which the next generation semiconductor processes for efficient scheduling in a clustered production system architecture of the scheduler is proposed. Our scheduling architecture is composed of the modules for real-time scheduling, the clustered production type supporting, the optimal scheduling and so on. The specifications of modules to define the major required functions, capabilities, and the relationship between them are presented.

초등학생들의 안전의식이 사고유형 위험인식에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Elementary school Students' Safety Consciousness upon Risk Recognition of Accidental Type)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들의 안전의식이 사고유형 위험인식에 미치는 영향에 대한 관련성을 알아보고자 시도하였다. 2009년 6월 25일부터 7월 15일까지 J도 소재 J시 K시 4개교에 재학하는 초등학생 378명에 대하여 실시하였다. 통계처리는 SPSS WIN 12.0 Version 프로그램을 사용하였으며, 통계적 유의성은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 안전실태의 특성의 변수들과 안전의식, 사고유형 위험인식 간의 상관관계는 안전의식은 외상사고 위험인식(r=.179, p<.01)과 환경사고 위험인식(r=.104, p<.05)에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 사고유형 위험인식 전체에 대해서 살펴보면 1년 내 안전 교육($\beta=.139$, t=2.654, p<.01)과 교통안전의식($\beta=.172$, t=2.714, p<.01)이 사고유형 위험인식에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

곡물(糓物)의 물리적(物理的) 특성(特性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Physical Properties of Grain)

  • The physical properties of grain are very important for the design of handling, sorting, processing, and storage system. On the physical properties of grain, volume, bulk density, true density, specific gravity, and porosity arc the major factors affecting the thermal properties of grain. This study was conducted to determine experimentally the above physical properties of rough rice (3 Japonica-type, 3 Indica-type) and barley (covered, naked) as a function of moisture content ranged from about 10% to 25% (w.b). The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1. The volume of grain kernel increased with moisture content for both rice and barley. The volume of those grain kernel was in the range of $2.2068{\times}10^{-8}{\sim}3.3960{\times}10^{-8}m^3$ at the moisture content of 14%. 2. The bulk density of rice increased linearly with moisture content for Japonica-type rough rice and quadratically for Indica-type rough rice, but the bulk density of barley decreased linearly with moisture content. The bulk density of the grain was in the range of 501.14~689.13kg/$m^3$ at the moisture content of 14%. 3. The true density of whole grain decreased linearly with moisture content, and was in the range of 1019.49~1139.75kg/$m^3$ at the moisture content of 14%. 4. The porosity of rice decreased linearly with moisture content for Japonica-type rough rice and quadratically for Indica-type rough rice, but the porosity of barley increased linearly with moisture content. The porosity of the grain was in the range of 39.51~50.83% at the moisture content of 14%. 5. The regression equations of the physical properties such as volume, bulk density, true density, and porosity of the grain were determined as a function of moisture content.

TLF: Two-level Filter for Querying Extreme Values in Sensor Networks

  • Sensor networks have been widely applied for data collection. Due to the energy limitation of the sensor nodes and the most energy consuming data transmission, we should allocate as much work as possible to the sensors, such as data compression and aggregation, to reduce data transmission and save energy. Querying extreme values is a general query type in wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we propose a novel querying method called Two-Level Filter (TLF) for querying extreme values in wireless sensor networks. We first divide the whole sensor network into domains using the Distributed Data Aggregation Model (DDAM). The sensor nodes report their data to the cluster heads using push method. The advantages of two-level filter lie in two aspects. When querying extreme values, the number of pull operations has the lower boundary. And the query results are less affected by the topology changes of the wireless sensor network. Through this method, the sensors preprocess the data to share the burden of the base station and it combines push and pull to be more energy efficient.
