  • Recently, as the tripolis where the construction of the high-rising building is actively advanced domestic, it will be able to resist in the various horizontal load with the resistance system against hereupon to arrange R.C wall in Core Portion in order, like this building the core construction must preceding from the steel structure and it will reduce using of steel frame amount and it will be able to reduce a whole construction cost with a horizontal resistance ability from the report which provides a reference data to the similar project after to analyze the application of the mivan formwork system which relates in Tripolis.

  • A light-weight multiple piston corer to meet increasing coring needs in areas where R/V access is limited, is designed and discussed. Hydraulically-damped and spring-driven piston system not only virtually undisturbed surface sediments but also facilitate the recovery and subsequent operation including pore water extraction and core slicing on board the ship. It is designed as compact, light-weight and easy to dissemble that whole gear can be carried by small passenger vehicle yet it permits thick-walled core tube for thermal insulation or large opening core tubes. Because single spring instead of heavy weights of conventional gravity-driven multiple corers is used, this device is very simple and cheap to construct.

입학사정관 교육훈련을 위한 교육과정 개발 - J대학 사례연구 (Curriculum development for education and training of admissions officer - J university case)

  • 입학사정관제는 그 본질 상 정량적인 평가보다는 정성적인 형태의 다양한 평가요소를 대상으로 지원자의 정보를 주관적, 종합적으로 평가하는 것이 주된 내용을 이루므로, 무엇보다도 입학사정관이 다양한 전형요소를 종합적으로 판단하여 선발할 수 있는 전문가적 능력의 구비와 공정한 선발을 기할 수 있는 선발의 공정성 확보가 중요시 되는 제도이다. 그런데 공정성을 확보하기 위해서는 전문성이 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 전문성 강화 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 J대학교 입학사정관 교육.훈련을 위한 교육과정을 개발해 보았다. 그 결과 9개의 영역으로 이루어진 교육내용 및 주요 교과목을 제시하였다. 나아가 제시된 교육 훈련 프로그램이 소기의 목적을 달성하는데 필요한 사항들을 제안하였다.

Effect of Magnetic Field Annealing on Microstructure and Magnetic Properties of FeCuNbSiB Nanocrystalline Magnetic Core with High Inductance

  • Transverse magnetic field annealing (TFA) was carried out on $Fe_{73.5}Cu_1Nb_3Si_{15.5}B_7$ nano-crystalline magnetic core with the aim at decreasing coercivity ($H_c$) while keeping high inductance ($L_s$). The magnetic field generated by direct current (DC) was applied on the magnetic core during different selected annealing stages and it was proved that the nanocrystalline magnetic core achieved lowest $H_c$ when applying transverse field during the whole annealing process (TFA1). Although the microstructure and crystallization degree of the nanocrystalline magnetic core exhibited no obvious difference after TFA1 compared to no field annealing, the TFA1 sample showed a more uniform nanostructure with a smaller mean square deviation of grain size distribution. $H_c$ of the nanocrystalline magnetic core annealed under TFA1 decreased along with the increasing magnetic field. As a result, the certain size nanocrystalline magnetic core with low $H_c$ of 0.6 A/m, low core loss (W at 20 kHz) of 1.6 W/kg under flux density of 0.2 T and high $L_s$ of $13.8{\mu}H$ were obtained after TFA1 with the DC intensity of 140 A. The combination of high $L_s$ with excellent magnetic properties promised this nanocrystalline alloy an outstanding economical application in high frequency transformers.

레이블링 방법을 이용한 지문 영상의 기준점 검출 (Core Point Detection Using Labeling Method in Fingerprint)

  • 본 논문에서는 방향 패턴 레이블링을 이용하여 지문 영상의 중심점을 검출하는 방법을 제안하였다. 중심점은 지문영상에서의 특이점들 중의 하나이며 대부분의 지문 인식 시스템에서 기준점으로 사용되고 있다. 중심점의 검출은 지문 인식 시스템에서 반드시 수행되어야할 중요한 단계로 전체 시스템의 성능에 큰 영향을 준다. 제안된 방법에서는 ridge의 분포로부터 얻어낸 방향 성분에 레이블링 방법과 중심점의 위치를 결정하는 알고리즘을 적용하여 중심점의 위치를 검출할 수 있었다. 모의 실험 결과 제안한 방법이 Poincare index와 Sine map 방법들에 비해 수행시간과 검출률 모두에서 좀더 나은 성능을 보임을 확인하였다. 특히 제안한 방법은 arch 형의 중심점 검출에 있어 Poincare index 방법의 낮은 검출률과 Sine map 방법의 긴 수행 시간이라는 단점들을 모두 극복하였다.

Development of a drift-flux model based core thermal-hydraulics code for efficient high-fidelity multiphysics calculation

  • The methods and performance of a pin-level nuclear reactor core thermal-hydraulics (T/H) code ESCOT employing the drift-flux model are presented. This code aims at providing an accurate yet fast core thermal-hydraulics solution capability to high-fidelity multiphysics core analysis systems targeting massively parallel computing platforms. The four equation drift-flux model is adopted for two-phase calculations, and numerical solutions are obtained by applying the Finite Volume Method (FVM) and the Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure-Linked Equation (SIMPLE)-like algorithm in a staggered grid system. Constitutive models involving turbulent mixing, pressure drop, and vapor generation are employed to simulate key phenomena in subchannel-scale analyses. ESCOT is parallelized by a domain decomposition scheme that involves both radial and axial decomposition to enable highly parallelized execution. The ESCOT solutions are validated through the applications to various experiments which include CNEN $4{\times}4$, Weiss et al. two assemblies, PNNL $2{\times}6$, RPI $2{\times}2$ air-water, and PSBT covering single/two-phase and unheated/heated conditions. The parameters of interest for validation include various flow characteristics such as turbulent mixing, spacer grid pressure drop, cross-flow, reverse flow, buoyancy effect, void drift, and bubble generation. For all the validation tests, ESCOT shows good agreements with measured data in the extent comparable to those of other subchannel-scale codes: COBRA-TF, MATRA and/or CUPID. The execution performance is examined with a mini-sized whole core consisting of 89 fuel assemblies and for an OPR1000 core. It turns out that it is about 1.5 times faster than a subchannel code based on the two-fluid three field model and the axial domain decomposition scheme works as well as the radial one yielding a steady-state solution for the OPR1000 core within 30 s with 104 processors.

자동차용 증발기 판 내의 증발 열전달 및 유동 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on In-Plate Evaporation Heat Transfer and Flow Characteristics for Automobile)

  • An experimental study was performed to evaluate the in-plate evaporation heat transfer and flow characteristics of a evaporator used in automobile. Two test-cores with different heat transfer area, bead-shape and bead-array were tested, A type and B type. For the heat transfer, Nusselt number for B type test-core reaches a value nearly equal to the one for A type test-core, in the whole range of equivalent Reynolds number. But, for the same mass flow rate of refrigerant, hA for B type test-core becomes higher with the increase of the mass quality of refrigerant than for A type test-core. In a flow visualization experiment, the wake zone of refrigerant circulating at u-turn position of plate is observed.
