폄석(砭石)의 한반도 기원과 형성에 관한 연구 (Archeological Quest on the Origin and Formation of the Stone Needle in the Korean Peninsula)

  • Objective: Much has been known that the systematical theory of acupuncture was developed from stone needle as therapeutic tools for orthopedic diseases in ancient times. Stone needle is very old therapeutic method like moxibustion and has been recognized that it was developed since the Stone Age in China so far. In the present study, it was examined for the origination and formation of stone needle based on stone relics of the Stone Age in Korean Peninsular, the medical and geographical literatures. Materials and methods: The facts of stone needle was examined and arranged on the ancient medical or geographical literatures such as The Yellow Emperor's Canon Internal Medicine, Shanhaijing as an ancient geographical book, etc. The clan societies and family related to an origination of stone needle was chased together with their cultural characteristics and origination. The stone relics which have been digged out of historic sites in the North-East Asia were examined for a relevance to stone needle. Results: In The Yellow Emperor's Canon Internal Medicine, it was referred to the stone needle that originated from a fishery zone related to the east coast district in North-East Asia. Through the examination of Shan Hai Jing as an ancient geographical book and its historical reviews, a Go-yi clan society who keep Go's family tree dealt well with the stone needle and jewels including jade in the North-East Asia before the publication periods of The Yellow Emperor's Canon Internal Medicine, and is comprised in the culture of Dong-yi clan society but not the Chinese culture. The obsidian stones, which have been digged out of historical sites in the North-East Asia since the Stone Age, are originated from volcanic areas combined with seashore that seems to be Baekdu mountain district in Korea and Kyushu district in Japan. Furthermore, obsidian stone tools which were found out at Laodung peninsula and the Korean peninsula are archeologically similar to the stone needle with regards to the shape, size and dual-use. In addition, specific obsidian stone tools have been used in orthopedic surgery as well-crafted obsidian blades have a cutting edge up to five times sharper than high-quality steel surgical scalpels. Conclusion: The origin of obsidian stone needle is well corresponded to the explanation about that of the stone needle. It is suggested that the stone needle which influenced in completion of acupuncture and Meridian theory in China seems to be an obsidian stone, and distribution of obsidian stone needle has been closely connected to Dong-yi clan society which are lived in the North-East Asia including Baekdu-mountain district.

여대생을 대상으로 한 마음챙김기반 마음교양강좌의 효과 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Mind Liberal Arts Course based on Mindfulness for Female University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 마음챙김 기반 마음교양강좌를 적용한 후 마음교양강좌가 여대생의 지각된 스트레스, 마음챙김, 심리적 안녕감 및 뇌파에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 진행하였다. 이를 위해 마음챙김 기반 마음교양강좌를 수강하는 42명의 여대생을 단일군으로 선정하여 8주 동안 주 1회, 회당 50분씩 마음공감 프로그램을 중재로 적용하였다. 중재 전 지각된 스트레스, 마음챙김, 심리적 안녕감 설문지 조사 및 뇌파를 측정하였고, 8주 중재 후 재평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과 지각된 스트레스는 중재 전 1.85점에서 중재 후 1.66점으로 유의하게 감소하였다(t=3.44, p=.001). 마음챙김의 변화는 중재 전 3.10점에서 중재 후 3.19점으로 유의하게 증가하였고(t=-2.78, p=.008), 하위 영역별 분석결과 기술 영역에서 유의하게 증가하였다(t=-3.66, p=.001). 심리적 안녕감의 변화는 중재 전후에 유의한 차이는 없었지만 하위 영역별 분석결과 자율성에서 유의한 차이가 있었다(t=-2.70, p=.010). 또한 뇌파 검사에서는 상대세타파 중 19번 채널, 상대빠른알파파 중 7, 10 채널에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 마음챙김기반 교육과정 개선, 교수법 다양화, 교육환경개선 등을 통한 추가 연구를 제언한다.

드레이퍼 방식 연마기에서의 툴 영향 함수 기법 (Deterministic Pitch Tool Polishing Using Tool Influence Function)

  • 본 논문에서는 툴 영향 함수(Tool Influence Function)를 이용한 피치(pitch)툴의 정량적 물질 제거 제어 기법에 대하여 기술하였다. 피치 툴은 뛰어난 표면 거칠기를 생성시키는 반면 툴의 물질 변형이 상대적으로 크고 물질제거가 어렵기 때문에 일반적으로 숙련된 가공 기술자에 의한 정성적 연마 기법으로 간주되었다. 하지만 이러한 피치 툴을 이용한 수치모사 및 실험을 수행한 결과, 정량적 피치 툴 연마 기법이 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 실험과 수치모사에 의한 물질 제거 형상은 약 79%의 정확도로 일치하였다. 또한 직경 280 mm의 평면가공에 대한 수치모사 단계에서 5번의 모의 가공 후 p-v(peak to valley) $1{\mu}m$의 최초 형상오차를 168 nm까지 낮추는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

베이지안 규칙을 사용한 비즈니스 프로세스 관리 시스템에서의 인적 자원 배정 (Bayesian Selection Rule for Human-Resource Selection in Business Process Management Systems)

  • 본 연구에서는 비즈니스 프로세스 관리(Business Process Management, BPM) 환경에서 자원의 성능에 영향을 미치게 되는 여러 요소를 고려하여 인적자원을 선택하는 방법론을 개발한다. 스케줄링에 있어서 자원의 선택 문제는 작업 수행도에 직접적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 중요한 문제로 인식되어져 왔다. 비록 많은 문제에 있어서 전통적인 자원선택 방법론이 의미를 가져왔으나, 인적자원을 다루는데 있어서는 가장 좋은 방법론이라고 볼 수 없다. 인적자원은 작업부하, 작업소요시간, 작업간 시간 등의 다양한 요소에 의해서 영향을 받는 특이한 요소이며 본 연구는 이러한 다양한 요소를 고려하여 작업자를 선택하는 방법론을 제시한다. 이를 위해서 베이지안 네트워크를 사용하며, 앞서 기술한 여러 요소들을 한꺼번에 고려하기 위한 베이지안 선택규칙(Bayesian Selection Rule, BSR)을 도입하였다. 또한, 시뮬레이션을 통해서 본 연구에서 개발된 방법론이 대기시간, 작업수행시간과 사이클 타임을 줄일 수 있음을 보였다.

웹기반 디지털 논리회로 가상실험실의 교육효과 (Education Effect of a Web-based Virtual Laboratory for Digital Logic Circuits)

  • 본 논문에서는 논리회로 실험용 장비 사용법 및 실험 내용에 대한 교육용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠로 구성된 논리회로 가상실험실이 실제 실험 교육에 끼치는 교육효과를 조사하였다. 대학 저학년의 공학 실험의 경우, 실험 회로 및 실험 장비 사용법에 대한 사전 이해가 절실히 요구된다. 그러나 기존의 전통적인 실험환경에서는 실험 장비 사용법 교육의 경우, 장비에 대한 접근성이 제한되어 있고, 짧은 실험시간 내에 다양한 기능을 설명하기에는 많은 제약이 있으며, 실험회로의 다양한 동작에 대한 경험은 실제 실험에서나 가능한 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서 구현한 논리회로 가상실험실에서는 실제 실험 전에 실습자에게 실제 실험과 같은 환경을 제공하여 사전에 실험 준비를 할 수 있도록 한다. 가상실험실을 활용한 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단인 30명 단위의 두 실험 집단에 대해 가상실험실의 교육효과를 조사한 결과, 가상실험실을 활용한 집단이 한 학기 실험과정에서 평균 8.2% 정도의 실험시간 단축을 보였다.

플랜트 프로젝트 일정위험 예외상황 예측 및 평가 (Prediction and Evaluation of Schedule Exceptions on the EPC Projects of Overseas Plants)

  • The market size of plant projects in overseas is so large that domestic EPC project contractors are actively seeking the overseas projects and then trying to meet completion plans since successful fulfillment of these projects can provide great opportunities for them to expand into new foreign markets. International EPC projects involve all of the uncertainties common to domestic projects as well as uncertainties specific to foreign projects including marine transportation, customs, regulations, nationality, culture and so on. When overseas project gets off-schedule, the resulting uncertainty may trigger unexpected exceptions and then critical effects to the project performance. It usually require much more time and costs to encounter these exceptions in foreign sites compared to domestic project sites. Therefore, an exception handling approach is required to manage exceptions effectively for successful project progress in foreign project sites. In this research, we proposed a methodology for prediction and evaluation of exceptions caused by risks in international EPC projects based on sensitivity analysis and Bayesian Networks. First, we identified project schedule risks and related exceptions, which may meet during the fulfillment of foreign EPC projects that is performed in a sequence of engineering, procurement, preparatory manufacture, foreign shipping, construction, inspection and modification activities, and affect project performance, using literature review and expert interviews. The impact of exceptions to the schedule delay were also identified. Second, we proposed a methodology to predict the occurrence of exceptions caused by project risks and evaluate them. Using sensitivity analysis, we can identify activities that critically affect schedule delay and need to focus by priority. Then, we use Bayesian Networks to predict and evaluate exceptions. Third, we applied the proposed methodology to an international EPC project example to validate the proposed approach. Finally, we concluded the research with the further research topics. We expect that the proposed approach can be extended to apply in exception management in project management.

Perioperative Epirubicin, Oxaliplatin, and Capecitabine Chemotherapy in Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer: Safety and Feasibility in an Interim Survival Analysis

  • Purpose: Perioperative chemotherapy improves survival outcomes in locally advanced (LA) gastric cancer. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively analyzed patients with LA gastric cancer who were offered perioperative chemotherapy consisting of epirubicin, oxaliplatin, and capecitabine (EOX) from May 2013 to December 2015 at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai. Results: Among the 268 consecutive patients in our study, 260 patients (97.0%) completed neoadjuvant chemotherapy, 200 patients (74.6%) underwent D2 lymphadenectomy, and 178 patients (66.4%) completed adjuvant chemotherapy. The median follow-up period was 17 months. For the entire cohort, the median overall survival (OS), 3-year OS rate, median progression-free survival (PFS), and 3-year PFS rate were 37 months, 64.4%, 31 months, and 40%, respectively. PFS and OS were significantly inferior in patients who presented with features of obstruction than in those who did not (P=0.0001). There was no difference in survival with respect to tumor histology (well to moderately differentiated vs. poorly differentiated, signet ring vs. non-signet ring histology) or location (proximal vs. distal). Survival was prolonged in patients with an early pathological T stage and a pathological node-negative status. In a multivariate analysis, postoperative pathological nodal status and gastric outlet obstruction on presentation significantly correlated with survival. Conclusions: EOX chemotherapy with curative resection and D2 lymphadenectomy is a suggested alternative to the existing perioperative regimens. The acceptable postoperative complication rate and relatively high resections, chemotherapy completion, and survival rates obtained in this study require further evaluation and validation in a clinical trial.

디지털 유목민 문화를 위한 현대 패션디자인의 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Modern Fashion Design for Digital Nomadic Culture)

  • The purpose of this study was to delve into what type of expression mode of fashion design could suit the life style of digital nomads, as the appearance of nomadic life style was concurrent with people's modified way of thinking and sociocultural changes in today's digital society. It's basically meant to define the roles of fashion design, which was discussed as a way of improving the quality of life as a sort of 'culture,' and to suggest some of the right directions for fashion design in the future. The culture of today's digital era is marked by a pursuit of high mobility and high speed, and by nomadic disposition that is built on flexible thinking. The kind of design that lets people carry nomadic things with them and thereby improve their mobility can satisfy their needs for mobility, and body-friendly design that functions as a device of information in itself can meet their needs for mobility as well. The leading example of the latter is a wearable computer, and wearable scientific technology will be taken to another level, thanks to the advance in digital technology. In the future, that will be more accessible to people in general, and subminiature digital equipment will gain popularity in fashion industry as part of textiles and clothing or as an accessory. And specific kinds of design will be widespread, including variable design, multi-functional design and modular design. The first serves as a tool to protect the human body and to facilitate the adaptability of it to the given circumstances, and the second is characterized by a superb physical and psychological protectability. The third lets wearers bring design to completion at their own option, owing to an increase in the number of open-minded people and the development of interactive media. All these types of design could be called a wearer-friendly, human-oriented design that is specifically appropriate for the digital age. Wearers can actively be involved in design process as productive consumers, which is expected to help increase opener practices in fashion design sector.

생태계보전협력금 반환사업 사후관리 실태와 개선 방안 (A Study on the Post-management and Improvement of Ecosystem Conservation Fund Return Projects)

  • This study reviews the current conditions of the completed 'Ecosystem Conservation Fund Return Project' sites to suggest management methods for their conservation and sustainability. For the scope of the study, five microsites of completed return projects in Seoul were selected and their project planning documents were reviewed to help with site surveying and analysis. To increase the accuracy of the site surveying and analysis, and to evaluate the management problems from different perspectives, the site managers were interviewed in-depth. The experts were surveyed as well to develop a realistic and practical improvement method. The survey results helped to categorize the post-management problems, and separate improvement methods were suggested for each category. First, the post-management guidelines are proposed for the ecosystem-based environment/ecosystem environment, user management, and monitoring. These guidelines will increase the expertise and practicality of the management principles. Second, the regulations for the participation of expert management enterprises and the development of separate monitoring or maintenance management team are suggested. These regulations will improve the participation of experts and consistency of management systems. Third, the post monitoring or maintenance management during the year after the project completion should be set as a separate project to secure budget. Furthermore, policies and/or institutions should be established to set a portion of ecosystem conservation return fund or a grant for post monitoring and maintenance management. Forth, as a way of adaptive management, at least more than three years of post-management should be evaluated under detailed categories and vigorous standard to improve the institutional operation for 'Ecosystem Conservation Fund Return Projects'.

Microwave Oven을 이용한 취반에 관한 연구 -출력 및 가열시간의 최적화- (Microwave Cooking of Rice - The Optimum Condition of Power Level and Heating Time -)

  • Microwave oven을 이용한 취반 시 최적 취반조건을 설정하기 위하여 전자렌지의 출력 및 가열시간을 달리하여 취반한 밥의 관능적 특성을 조사하였다. 쌀 1cup(약 173 g)을 수세하여 290 ml 물을 넣고 1시간동안 침지시킨 후 전자렌지의 출력과 가열시간을 5단계로 조절하면서 취반하였다(1단계; 온도상승기, 2단계: 수분흡수기1, 3단계: 수분흡수기2, 4단계: 열 침투기, 5단계: 호화완료기). 예비실험에서 설정한 출력과 가열시간에 따른 실험조건 수는 1200treatments였으나 1차, 2차에 걸친 취반실험 결과로부터 32가지의 최적 취반조건을 선정하였다. 그 중에서 다시 다음 3가지를 전자렌지의 대표적 인 취반조건으로 제시할 수 있었다. 1) 출력(7) 5:00-출력(1) 5:00(2) 5:00-출력(2) 6:00-출력(7) 4:00 2) 출력(8) 4:25-출력(1) 5:00-출력(2) 5:00-출력(2)
