Recently, Web-based Survey has attempted to overcome the limitations of Paper-based survey. This method is more effective in costs and time use than traditional methods, also help respondents to understand and interest in the survey. Especially for the elderly, web-based survey is effective survey tool, because audio-visual material could be provied. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of two kinds of methods which were web-based survey and paper-based survey, focused on elderly residents' needs for ubiquitous home service. The participants were older than 60 and divided into 2 groups, web-based survey and paper-based survey, each group was controlled over by age, gender, computer skill. For this study, elderly residents conducted a survey passed through 2 steps, the first was residents' needs for ubiquitous home services, the second was an evaluation of survey methods. Finding were as follows : first, there was no difference between the two groups in needs for ubiquitous home service, so survey itself can not make a difference in survey results. Second, respondents of web-based survey were more interested in and felt easier about method that they conducted than ones of paper-based survey. Finally, Web-based survey will be more effective method to be figure out the need of the elderly who are familiar with computer.

Among the mainstream of this society has quickly adopted computer technology as part of their daily life, the ever growing group of elderly people, which will increase from 7% of the population in 2000 to being 14% just 18 years later, has been being exposed to computer using environment more than ever before. According to the survey of Korean government in 2005, the number of the elderly using computer has been rising actually, so web-based survey to identify housing needs of the elderly seems to have lots of possibilities as a useful tool for them. This study aims at comparing web-based survey tool with paper-based one, developed to identify the elderly needs on digital home planning. Experimental method and in-depth interview were employed. The participants were divided into 2 groups, web-based and paper-based survey group. Each group was controlled over by age (average 60 years old), gender and computer skill. As a results, web-based survy tool was revealed as effective to clearer understanding and causing more interests and more available, but less easy to handle than paper-based survey one. Through the in-depth interview, web-based survey tool was identified as a more effective method to figure out the needs of the elderly who are familiar with computer.

Information system outsourcing induces firms to concentrate on the core competence and to improve business value by utilizing specialized information systems outsourcing vendors. However, for those strategic effects, the outsourced information systems should guarantee a certain service level. Now companies are considering to adopt SLA(Service Level Agreement) as a method to check the service level of the outsourced information systems in quantitative terms. On the contrary, customer satisfaction survey supports qualitative analysis, and helps companies to understand the qualitative effects on information system more systematically. Recently, the growing use of the internet makes customer satisfaction survey to be carried out on the web. For that reason, lots of researches related to web survey have been performed. But these researches are just focused on finding out only items to be measured and the effect of web survey. In this paper, based on the service quality research model for information system outsourcing, we formalize and propose a web survey process, a system architecture, and a functional structure for information system outsourcing customer satisfaction survey. Additionally, we provide the implementation results for the web survey systems.

The internet survey is more time and cost efficient than the off-line survey. We design and implement a web-based questionnaire generating system for the internet survey. The system guides users to make up a questionnaire step by step. It also generates data code for the statistical packages such as SPSS and SAS when the internet survey has been done.

최근 유선전화 기반 조사방법에 웹이나 모바일을 결합한 혼합모드조사에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 이와 관련해 본 논문에서는 척도 구성의 측면에 주목했다. 전통적인 조사연구에서 문항 작성 시 주로 다문항의 다점 척도를 사용한 경우가 많았던 데 반해, 이러한 문항 구성 방식이 웹기반 조사에서도 장점을 갖는지 분명하지 않기 때문이다. 따라서 웹기반 조사를 중심으로 척도의 크기에 따라 응답의 타당도와 신뢰도, 그리고 응답 편이성에 차이가 생기는지 검토하고자 했다.

This paper proposes a Web Based Online Outage Cost Assessment and Information System(WOOCAIS) for power system outage cost assessment. The proposed WOOCAIS is a kind of web based survey method for outage cost assessment. While conventional survey methods have done outage cost assessment based on survey paper lists collected by post mail or visiting customers, the proposed WOOCAIS is a web based online survey operation and assessment system. Therefore, it can curtail expenditure for survey and also is more convenient than conventional method. It will be set up for actual outage cost assessment system of KEPCO in South Korea in the near future. The WOOCAIS will be applied in various research and actual planning and operation areas. First of all, the assessed results may be not only applied as one of objective function for generation system and grid expansion but also operational planning problems in power system.

본 연구의 목적은 한의학 기반 건강상태 및 진단 분류 도구인 미병과 한열설문의 웹 기반과 종이 기반 간의 일치도를 평가하는 것이다. 일반인 72명을 대상으로 웹 기반 조사를 먼저 시행하고, 시간 간격을 두고 종이기반 설문을 진행하였다. 웹과 종이 기반 조사 방법 간의 동등성은 급내상관계수(Intraclass Correlation Coefficient, ICC)와 Bland-Altman 방법으로 설문 점수 간의 일치도를 평가하였다. 미병설문은 웹과 종이 조사 간에 높은 신뢰도를 보였고(ICC=0.95, 95% CI 0.92 - 0.97), 한열설문의 한증(ICC=0.98, 95% CI 0.96 - 0.99)과 열증(ICC=0.9, 95% CI 0.83 - 0.93) 모두 우수한 신뢰도를 나타냈다. 두 조사 방법 간의 평균 점수 차이는 미병설문이 -0.25점이고, 한열설문의 한증 -0.17점, 열증 0.11점으로 유사한 일치 양상을 나타냈다. 대상자의 84%가 웹 기반에 긍정적인 만족도를 보였고, 80%가 웹 조사를 선호하였다. 본 연구에서 미병설문과 한열설문의 웹 조사 방법 간의 신뢰도와 실행 가능성을 확인하였다. 이것은 장기간 걸쳐 진행되는 코호트 연구에서 대상자 추적 관찰에 유용한 도구로 고려된다.

The statistical survey and analysis is much restricted to time, space and material. The statistical survey and analysis could hardly resume. The statistical survey and analysis is very important to create various and accurate information. The statistical survey and analysis which is not a expert knowledge have many problems in productivity of information, reliability and etc. In this paper, we study the design and Implementation of web-based statistical survey and analysis consulting system which a client meet easily a statistical expert on the web.

Currently, the nano economy threatens the mass economy. This is based on the internet business models. In the nano business models based on internet, the diversely personalized services are needed. Many researches of the personalization on the web have been studied. The web usage mining using click stream data is a tool for personalization model. In this paper, we propose an internet business model using evolutionary support vector machine and web response survey as a web usage mining. After analyzing click stream data for web usage mining, a personalized service model is constructed in our work. Also, using an approach of web response survey, we improve the performance of the customers' satisfaction. From the experimental results, we verify the performance of proposed model using two data sets from KDD Cup 2000 and our web server.

호주에 있는 사례연구로 캔버라관광 웹사이트를 채택함으로써 복잡한 의사결정과정에 적용된 인터넷 기능들에 대한 온라인 관광객들의 선호도를 조사하기 위해서 자의적 선택 웹 조사방법이 사용되었다 모집단으로서 이미 알려진 집주소와 전화번호들을 갖고 있는 우편조사와 전화조사와 같은 다른 전통적인 조사방법에 비해 웹에 기초한 조사방법을 사용하기에는 아직 시기상조이다. 이 연구에서 채택된 웹 조사 방법은 심각한 조사오류들을 발생시킬 수 있는 알려진 모집단이 없는 비확률표본추출에 의존하고 있다. 따라서 이 연구의 결과들은 자의적 선택 웹 조사에 대한 신뢰성을 확인하기 위하여 공식적으로 발행된 통계 자료들과 비교될 필요가 있다. 금번 연구조사는 자의적 선택 웹 조사방법이 어느 정도까지 타당화 될 수 있는 지를 논의한다.
