We developed a web-based virtual laboratory system for electronic circuit experiments on the client/ server distributed environment. Through our virtual laboratory, the learners will be capable of learning the concepts and theories related to electronic circuit experiments and how to operate the experimental equipments such as multimeters, function generators, digital oscilloscopes and DC power suppliers. The proposed virtual laboratory system is composed of four important components: Principle Classroom to explain the concepts and theories of electronic circuit operations, Virtual Experiment Classroom to provide interactive multimedia contents about the syllabus of off-line laboratory class, Assessment Classroom, and Management System. With the aid of the Management System every classroom is organically tied together collaborating to achieve maximum learning efficiency. We have obtained several affirmative effects such as high learning standard, reducing the total experimental hours and the damage rate for experimental equipments.

본 논문은 Java 기술을 이용하여 TCP/IP 상에서 웹 기반의 원격 감시제어시스템 개발에 대한 예를 제시하였다. Java의 Socket 클래스를 이용한 클라이언트/서버 소켓 프로그램을 구현하였고 이를 레고 블록으로 만든 온실 모델에 적용하여 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템을 구축하였다. 구축된 웹 기반 온실 감시제어시스템은 온실의 정보를 클라이언트 프로그램에 잘 전달하여 표시하며 웹 상에서 동작하는 Java Applet 클라이언트에서 보내는 제어 신호를 서버를 통해 온실 모델에 잘 전달하여 동작시키는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

본 논문에는 DICOM Converter를 구현하여 새로운 장비를 구입하지 않고, 기존의 장비를 이용해 DICOM 표준안 영상으로 변환할 수 있게 하였다. 그리고 클라이언트/서버 모듈 부분에서 한 시스템 내에서 SCU 와 SCP를 동시에 수행할 수 있어 중소 병원에 적합한 단계적인 PACS 시스템을 구축할 수 있다. 또한 Web 상에서의 환자정보, 영상정보, 검사정보, 그리고 장비정보와 같은 DB 연동을 할 수 있어 점진적으로 확장 및 통합이 가능한 소형의 부분적인 시스템을 구현하였다 결과적으로, 본 시스템은 안정된 개방형 시스템을 기반으로 하였기에 가격을 낮추었을 뿐 아니라 투자에 대한 실패를 크게 감소시키었다.

웹은 컴퓨터 교수학습을 위한 수단으로 많은 활용이 예상되며 최근 교육에 web을 도입하는 사례가 점점 증가하고 있다. 웹 기반 수업은 교육적 측면에서 볼 때 다른 기존의 매체보다 상호 작용성이 뛰어나고 보다 자유롭게 대량의 정보를 전달할 수 있다. 웹 기반 수업 프로_I램의 다양한 학습내용은 동영상, 그림, 소리 등의 다양한 멀티미디어 매체를 결합시켜 학습자의 흥미와 관심을 불러일으키고 학습내용의 다양성으로 학습자의 창의력과 응용력을 길러줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 초등학교 6학년 사회교과를 중심으로 문제해결 학습을 위하여 구성주의 이론에 입각한 웹 기반 코스웨어 학습 프로그램을 설계하여 제시하였다. 실험결과 개발된 코스웨어를 이용한 실험학급의 학습 성취도가 기존의 비교학급보다 성취도의 뚜렷한 향상을 가져왔음을 보여주었다.

오늘날 우리는 HTML 폼을 통해 지역 데이타베이스뿐 아니라 원격 데이타베이스도 쉽게 접근할 수 있다. HTML 폼으로 데이타베이스 웅용을 구현하는 것이 쉽기는 하나 아직 HTML 폼과 CGI 프로그램은 코딩되어야만 한다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 데이타베이스 웅용을 자동 생성하는 도구를 소개하는데, 이 도구는 응용 데이타베이스 구축을 위한 SQL 문장들, 사용자 인터페이스로 사용되는 품들, 그리고 그 폼들을 통해 이루어진 질의를 처리하는 자바 서블릿을 생성한다. 생성될 테이블들과 폼들은 응용을 위한 클래스 다이어 그램으로부터 결정된다. 따라서 WebSiteGen으로 명명한 우리의 소프트웨어 도구는 웹기반 데이타베이스 응용의 구현을 자동화한다.

Currently, web-based online games is becoming popular in supporting learning process due to their effective and efficient tool. However, online games have lack of security aspect, in particular due to increase in the number of personal information leakage. Since the data are transmitted over insecure channel, it will be vulnerable of being intercepted by attackers who want to exploit user's identity. This paper aims to propose an online web-based educational game, Vidyanusa which allows the students to register their personal information using a unique code, a user name and a password. It manages the users according to their schools, subject teachers and class levels. In addition, by adopting a unique code, the confidentiality of the user identity can be kept away from attackers. Moreover, in order to provide a secure data communication between client and server, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol is adopted. The performance of the system after implementing SSL protocol is examined by loading a number of requests for various users. From the experiment result, it can be concluded that the SSL protocol can be applied to web-based educational system in order to offer security services and reliable connection.

Purpose: This study was aimed to develop a WBI(Web Based Instruction) program on safety for 6th grades of elementary school students and to test the effects of it. Method: The web site is http://www.safeschool.co.kr. The effect of it was tested from Mar 24, to Apr 30, 2003. The subjects were 150 students. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, and $x^2$ test, t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA. Result: In the knowledge of the safety precaution, the preliminary test was mean 17.8, immediate post-test was mean 20.9 and 4 weeks post-test was mean 20.9, there were significant differences statistically among three points of time. In the attitude of the safety precaution, the preliminary test was mean 75.1, the immediate post-test was mean 80.8 and 4 weeks post-test was mean 80.4, which showed significant difference statistically among three points of time. For the motive of learning to the safety precaution, it was significantly higher statistically in the WBI. As a result, the WBI group had totally longer effects on knowledge, attitude and motivation of the safety accident prevention than the textbook-based instruction. Conclusion: WBI program be used in each class to provide more effective safety instruction.

현재 많은 대학의 학과 또는 전공에서 절차지향 프로그래밍 언어 및 객체지향 프로그래밍 언어 관련 과목이 개설되어 있지만, 이 두 개념을 비교하면서 서로의 차이점, 장단점을 뚜렷하게 이해할 수 있는 종합적인 과목은 없다. 본 논문에서는 절차지향적 프로그래밍 및 객체지향적 프로그래밍 기법을 비교 및 분석하고, 하나의 수업 상에서 동시에 이를 비교하고 실습을 진행할 수 있는 교과목 자료 및 관련 웹 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 이를 통하여 각각의 프로그래밍 기법의 이해는 물론, 두 프로그래밍 기법의 장단점 파악 및 응용 활용 능력을 배양할 수 있도록 하였다.

21세기를 대비한 인재를 육성하기 위해서 교사의 단편적인 지식을 학생에게 전달하는 교수 방식을 벗어나 학생들이 자유로운 탐색이나 정보수집과 같은 활동을 통하여 자신의 학습 활동을 진행시켜 나갈 수 있는 능력을 길러주는 교육이 필요하다. 자기 주도적 학습 능력을 가진 인재를 양성하기 위한 수단으로 인터넷을 새로운 학습 환경으로 이용하자는 방법이 제시되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 환경에서 고등학교 영어회화 학습을 대상으로 학습자가 자기 주도적 학습능력을 신장하기 위한 영어회화 가상 수업을 설계하고 웹과 데이터베이스를 이용하여 구현하였다.
