In this paper, we propose a method for text extraction in the Web images. Our approach is based on contrast detecting and pixel component ratio analysis in mouse position. Extracted data with OCR can be used for real time dictionary call or language translation application in Web browser.

With the growth of the Internet, web-based cyber education is progressing from the text-based to the hyper-based including multimedia, and from one way of simply giving the contents to the learner to another way of providing mutual interaction between the instructor and the learner. For this, there uses the RIA-based dynamic application and multimedia. RIA, which is the new paradigm on the web, provides the learners with more effective and rich contents. For developing a cyber education system, if we use the existing web languages, a large amount of effort is needed. But if we use the RIA-based paradigm, we can remarkably reduce the effort. Also, in developing a new web-based cyber education system the RIA paradigm makes the learners to satisfy their demands, and in developing the system providing the interaction the paradigm gives us the way minimizing the time and effort. In this paper, we compare and evaluate the efforts in developing the RIA based education system with the Non-RIA based education system.

This paper aims at the design of collaborative architecture for business to business (B2B) applications based on Web service protocol. As different business processes should be interfaced in the B2B environment collaboration is important fur the success of B2B implementation. For the development tools, XML, Web services and ASP.NET were adopted Web services are emerging to provide a systematic and extensible framework for application-to-application interaction. The Web services framework is divided into three areas; communication protocols, service descriptions and Web discovery. Web services such as SOAP, WSDL and UDDI correspond to the three areas respectively. ASP.NET is utilized which corresponds to the component and service set located in the top layer of .NET. For the service of product category and product details, Web service architecture was implemented based upon the SQL server database.

In this paper, we implement monitoring system for grain sorting using a high-speed FPGA and embedded LINUX. The proposed system is designed by base on web server and web-based applications while existing system was designed by base on stand-alone mode.The interface the Web server with high speed hardware of FPGA is designed on the implemented monitoring system. The proposed system has the advantages of multi-tasking on Linux web server and real-time high speed on FPGA also. The control logic of a high speed rate line-scan CCD camera, the method of center of gravity, HSL decoding and the interface on the Web server are implemented in FPGA. The implemented monitoring system has the advantage of being able to control the grain monitoring, system failure and recovery remotely by web application. As a result, we can upgrade the performance of sorting quality compared by existing system.

As for the software development, it is complicated, and size of software is growing larger. And contraction of a software development period is required acutely because it is short a period of software life cycle. Also, it becomes harder development and a maintenance because it is short a life cycle of developed software. According to this an effort is increased in order to reduce a development cost and time as using a component to have been implemented previously in development of software. A current component technology is developing into a very fast speed and is bringing a large change into development of a Web base system in addition to existing software development method. In this paper, we were handling a related technology for Web system development of a CBD base systematically and derived an issue to apply it to development of a Web system and presented an efficient practical use method of a component technology. First of all we looked into a component technology and a CBD methodology systematically and described a component technology in Web. Also, we proposed a method to increase development and efficiency of practical use of a Web system based on a component. The this study result can decrease a development cost of a Web system and a load of maintenance management through the re-use of a code.

Many organizations have developed their own information systems not only for internal efficiency but also for effectiveness of external customer services. The infusion of powerful information networks into business environments is beginning to have a profound impact on the nature of governance between buyers and sellers in the market place. One of the most effective service tools for their customers is the use of information technology. The web technology is rapidly becoming one of the most effective online customer service tools toward strategic competitive advantage. In order to gain competitive edge, organizations must have effective web sites for customer services. A study on web service development phase has been conducted and present states of web usages by Korean, US., Japanese companies are surveyed. Cases of business web sites are empirically analyzed in order to compare the different levels of web site application in three countries. Conclusively, countries with longer experience with internet has more advanced level of web application such as business transaction and internet process innovation. In order to support effective web site planning, organizations have to understand their current position in Internet application and form strategies for e-business.

Various web_based ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) are developed as the Internet is popularized in If or non If fields. In this paper, the standardization of the Web technology of HTML5/CSS3 and JQuery Mobile, using a variety of mobile platforms, run independently within an environment as possible to implement the Mobile Office System. In addition, user friendly Web interface and dynamic web design through a mobile device in a Mobile Office system provides convenience to the user when a hybrid Web application based mobile office system implement.

It is becoming hard to maintain web applications because of high complexity and duplication of web pages. However, most of research about code clone is focusing on code hunks, and their target is limited to a specific language. Thus, we propose GSIM, a language-independent statistical approach to detect similar pages based on scarcity and frequency of customized tokens. The tokens, which can be obtained from pages splitted by a set of given separators, are defined as atomic elements for calculating similarity between two pages. In this paper, the domain definition for web applications and algorithms for collecting tokens, making matrics, calculating similarity are given. We also conducted experiments on open source codes for evaluation, with our GSIM tool. The results show the applicability of the proposed method and the effects of parameters such as threshold, toughness, length of tokens, on their quality and performance.
