Value Co-creation-based Information Management in the Digital Economy

  • Personalization and customization of product and service designs involving firms and customers using online design interfaces across the Internet is increasingly being facilitated by brands. Research on the role of information technology and value co-creation across various research disciplines in management has provided learnings on ways to creatively improve products and services by integrating customers and firms in web portals. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the specific attributes of value co-creation between customers and firms relevant to business logic, learnings, projects, personalized products and services, social network innovations, brand management and markets across the Internet for the purpose of enhancing information management of value co-creation for industries and research. The paper draws on published research and industry surveys on how value co-creation is growing in the digital economy. An industry survey of managers who use web portals for their business responded to a questionnaire on how various social, economic and intellectual motivation factors of firm-customer interactions result in value co-creation for customers and firms. These motivation factors can lead to improved learning systems for business process improvements and service management for industries, customers and firms and may also be classified.

QoS-Based and Network-Aware Web Service Composition across Cloud Datacenters

  • With the development of cloud computing, more and more Web services are deployed on geo-distributed datacenters and are offered to cloud users all over the world. Through service composition technologies, these independent fine-grain services can be integrated to value-added coarse-grain services. During the composition, a number of Web services may provide the same function but differ in performance. In addition, the distribution of cloud datacenters presents a geographically dispersive manner, which elevates the impact of the network on the QoS of composite services. So it is important to select an optimal composition path in terms of QoS when many functionally equivalent services are available. To achieve this objective, we first present a graph model that takes both QoS of Web services and QoS of network into consideration. Then, a novel approach aiming at selecting the optimal composition path that fulfills the user's end-to-end QoS requirements is provided. We evaluate our approach through simulation and compare our method with existing solutions. Results show that our approach significantly outperforms existing solutions in terms of optimality and scalability.

  • This paper identifies current status and key determinants of participation in multimedia UCC as a web2.0 paradigm. Significant factors composed of IT digital convergence environments and young generation's value, attitude to connecting to web (human relation, visual expressionism, arousal, et al). This paper analyze multimedia UCC service status & current status of participation level of UCC users. The research implemented to analysis customer click streaming data (inter-temporary page-view, unique user)of small-mid multimedia UCC Company and to 2nd data(ww.rankey.com) for page-view and unique user to participation tendency by age and sex about total participation amount of multimedia UCC. In case of young generation be familiar with new internet service, Internet web space meaning important information seeking media and 1 person media able to connect to new web network as prosumer. In UCC centered internet business, web based customers implemented the role of prosumer as generate web contents and consuming to net-working.

  • OSGi는 서비스 레지스트리를 통한 런타임 서비스 검색을 지원함으로써 서비스간의 인터랙션을 진작하는 대표적인 SOA기술이다. OSGi와 더불어 SOA의 선두 그룹을 형성하고 있는 웹 서비스 기술은 광역 인터넷에 위치한 네트워크 서비스들이 개방 인터페이스에 따라 상호 작용하여 새로운 부가 기능을 지원할 수 있도록 하는 토대를 제공하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 OSGi 프레임워크 환경에서 웹 서비스 조합 언어인 WS-BPEL을 이용하여 OSGi 서비스와 웹 서비스를 합성하여 복합 서비스 및 응용을 구성할 수 있도록 하는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 이 결과 랜 환경을 주 대상으로 하는 OSGi 서비스와 광역 엔터프라이즈 환경의 웹 서비스가 소속 도메인 경계를 넘어 서비스 조합에 참여할 수 있게 됨으로써 단일 도메인 내 조합에서는 가능하지 않았던 응용 기능 지원이 가능해진다.

웹 기반 참여형 IoT 서비스 브로커링 플랫폼 개발 (Development of the Web-based Participation IoT Service Brokering Platform)

  • IoT(Internet of Things)는 사물들이 인터넷에 연결되어 정보를 공유하고 이러한 정보를 기반으로 서비스를 제공하는 기반 기술이다. 이는 개인, 공공, 산업 분야에 걸쳐 다양하게 적용됨으로 이러한 다양한 환경의 요구사항에 맞는 서비스의 개발이 요구된다. 한편, 방송이나 웹 서비스 등이 공급자 중심의 서비스 제공 환경에서 사용자 참여형 서비스로 변화 된 것처럼 IoT 서비스 환경도 집단이 참여하여 가치와 효용성을 증가 시킬 수 있는 참여형 IoT 서비스 환경으로 발전될 것이다. 사용자는 이러한 참여형 IoT 서비스 환경을 통해 자신의 요구사항을 직접적으로 반영 할 수 있어 서비스의 유형이 다양해지고 보급이 가속화 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 서비스 시나리오의 분석을 통해 IoT 서비스의 구성요소를 도출하고 이를 기반으로 참여형 IoT 서비스 모델 및 모델링 메커니즘을 제안한다. 이는 사용자의 숙련도에 따라 순차적 서비스 모델 및 관계기반 서비스 모델을 제공한다. 제안하는 환경은 참여형 IoT 서비스 브로커링 플랫폼에 의해 구현되어 웹 기반의 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다.

Improving Web Service Recommendation using Clustering with K-NN and SVD Algorithms

  • In the advent of the twenty-first century, human beings began to closely interact with technology. Today, technology is developing, and as a result, the world wide web (www) has a very important place on the Internet and the significant task is fulfilled by Web services. A lot of Web services are available on the Internet and, therefore, it is difficult to find matching Web services among the available Web services. The recommendation systems can help in fixing this problem. In this paper, our observation was based on the recommended method such as the collaborative filtering (CF) technique which faces some failure from the data sparsity and the cold-start problems. To overcome these problems, we first applied an ontology-based clustering and then the k-nearest neighbor (KNN) algorithm for each separate cluster group that effectively increased the data density using the past user interests. Then, user ratings were predicted based on the model-based approach, such as singular value decomposition (SVD) and the predictions used for the recommendation. The evaluation results showed that our proposed approach has a less prediction error rate with high accuracy after analyzing the existing recommendation methods.

의류 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 대학생들이 지각한 서비스 품질요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on university students' perceived Service Quality Factors on the Internet Apparel shopping Malls)

  • The Purpose of this study was to investigate of university students' perceived Service Qualities on the internet fashion and apparel shopping malls. This survey was carried out with real customers. Data were obtained from 197 internet fashion shopping mall consumer(university students) who have bought fashion products. Questionnaires related to service quality, perceived service value and loyalty. This study was investigated with focused on customer of university students itself. To find relationships among variables, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression was carried out with collected data. The resulted were as follows: 1. The service quality dimension of fashion internet shopping malls were external quality of web, reliability quality and emotional quality. 2. The all of service quality dimensions of internet fashion and apparel shopping malls had an effect on university students perceived value and loyalty.

웹 서비스 기술 도입에 따른 ASP 사업 투자효과의 향상에 대한 비교 연구 : 균형성과표 기반 분석 (A Comparative Study on ROI between Traditional and Web Services based ASP : A BSC Approach)

  • Recently, ASP business models based on Web services are attracting considerable attention and regarded as the next generation of the ASP business models. It is, however, undesirable for ASP users to adopt them simply because the Web services are the new trend in the IT world. Instead, an in-depth comparison of the benefits against the costs between the Web services based ASP business models and the traditional models are required. Furthermore, it is desirable that this comparative analysis should be applied from the ASP users' viewpoints rather than those of the government or ASP providers. So, we have applied a comparative ROI (Return on Investment) analysis from the ASP users' perspective and shown that the Web services based ASP business models (382%) are superior to the traditional models (280%) in terms of ROI. We have also employed Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework to keep the balance between tangible and intangible benefits considering the characteristics of IT value measurement.

  • 최근에는 정보와 지식의 교환을 위한 시맨틱 웹 구축의 연구가 활발해 지고 있다. 동영상 콘텐츠를 시맨틱 웹상에서 지식으로 활용하기 위해서는 의미적 검색이 선행 되어야 하는데 현재는 동영상 콘텐츠의 메타데이터와 키워드의 일치성 판단에 의한 검색이 주를 이루고 있다. 본 논문에서는 집단 지성을 사용하여 동영상 콘텐츠의 의미적 검색 및 활용이 용이하도록 사용자 참여 정보를 확대하고, 의미적 요소인 유용성 수치와 히스토리 데이터를 추가한 온톨로지 구축 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 온톨로지 스키마를 활용하면, 시맨틱 웹상에서 동영상 콘텐츠의 의미적 검색 시 기존 검색 방법 보다 재현율이 높으며, 각종 동영상 콘텐츠를 지식으로 활용 가능하게 한다.

A Study on the Context-Aware Reasoning Filtering Mechanism in USN

  • Context-awareness system can provide an optimized services to users. Analyzing physical and complex circumstance elements which give direct or indirect influence to users can tell what users want. However, there are various situation informations around users and it requires high level technology to extract the service what users really want among those informations. The circumstance of the user can be changed from moment to moment, even the service what users want also can be changed in every minutes. Recently the researches to provide the service which a user demands has been progressed actively. Web based filtering method which reaches commercialization is a one of good examples. This method extracts necessary data according to users' demands from the documents on the Web or multimedia informations. However, there is a limit to use it to provide Context-awareness service because it extracts static data, not dynamic data. There is also other researches with a rule based filtering method in progress to filter situation information but this method doesn't have mechanism for dynamic data as well. We would like to solve these problems by providing a dynamic situation information filtering mechanism applying an weighted value about each property of objects and also applying Web based dynamic categories in this paper when unnecessary data should be filtered.
