  • This study aims to apply World Wide Web(WWW) image files to visual material in lectures. Especially handles "Aesthetics of Landscape Architecture." Visual Materials of 800 web sites were searched and analyzed. It is found that web search needs a subject oriented web guide. It says now a need of application web material to lectures. Matching the web images with the subjects of lecture, above all, is the main approach of this study. Thus, a list up method is supposed, series of web image data to be inclusive in two tables. The data distribute on sub-subject, and applicant as materials in picturing objects of slide show, web guide, and single image. Two cases of lecture subjects were chosen in this study. A case that needs various visual materials and other case of advanced materials that needs a special web guide. Chance of results of this study is not yet fully clear in real lecture. It is sure, as an article of cyber lecture that provided result of increasingly participant's interest. By this study, it will be possible a fully made lecture material by further study.her study.

  • Material selection is one of the important activities in design and manufacturing. A selected material at the conceptual design stage affects material properties of the designed part as well as manufacturability and cost of the final product. Unfortunately there are not many accessible material databases that can be used for design. In this research, a web-based material database was constructed. In order to assist designers to compare different materials, two-dimensional and three-dimensional graphs were provided. Using these graphical tools, multi-dimensional comparison was available in more intuitive manner. To provide environmental safety of materials, the database included National Fire Protection Association publication Standard No.704. The web-based tool is available at http://fab.snu.ac.kr/matdb.

  • Because of world financial crisis, The Korea domestic construction industry has been damaged hugely on material supplying work. A current domestic material supply system can't react properly on a great rise of foreign exchange rate and raw material price, so the system has a problem which is not properly supplying material. To solve this problem, a more innovative material supply work system is seriously needed than ever. So this study wants to improve material supply system for supplying material right time, right place through applying a web-based system. Applying this, overall process of material-supply-work can be done on a web-based system for immediately understanding change of ordering and warehousing by material-supply-schedule to a domestic construction field.

A Study on Web Document's Efficient Browsing

  • Most document consists of primary content and supporting material, such as footnotes, detailed explanations, and illustrations, and the related supporting materials are linked as hypertext on web document. However, the content of hypertext links is appeared in the new windows on present web browser. Then the user will leave the primary material, may lose the entire context, and must have some difficulties to return to the primary context when the interest disappears. Using the technique for fluid links, we can solve these problems easily. If the mouse is putted on the link, the related material is presented in between lines or at margin maintaining the context of primary material. In this paper, we introduce the various browsing techniques using fluid links, analyze the forms and the features, and then we propose the way to implement in Java.

  • To ensure competitiveness in the modem automotive market, process and material planning should be performed concurrently with new car developments. In automotive general assembly shops, thus, new business workflows and supporting environments are inevitable to reduce the manufacturing preparation time in developing a new car in the manner of concurrent and collaborative engineering. Since complete material planning for a whole general assembly system is a huge and complex job, several planners should execute their planning jobs and share information. Therefore, each planner should provide others with his/her results with continuous on-line communication and cooperation. In this research, a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative process and material planning for automotive general assembly via 3D digital mock-up S/W is developed. By using this system, savings in time and cost of process and material planning are possible, and the reliability of the planning result is improved.

초등학교 과학과 환경교육을 위한 웹기반 학습의 적용 (An Application of Web-Based Learning Focused on Environment Education of Elementary School Science)

  • The aims of this study are to develop web-based learning materials for science and environmental education of elementary school. The effect of environmental education was divided into eight to measure: the awareness of using web as environmental material, the ability to use web as environmental material. the awareness of environmental problems, the satisfaction for environmental education using web, the awareness of preserving local environment, self-leading ability to learn environment, the effect of using environment homepage, and the internalization of environmental awareness. This study obtained the following results; First, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 1.29 points higher than the control group having traditional learning in the awareness of using web as environmental material, showing a statistically significant difference. Second, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 2.80 points higher than the control group in the ability to use web as environmental material, showing a statistically significant difference. Third, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 1.10 points higher than the control group in the awareness of environmental problems, showing a statistically significant difference. Fourth, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based teaming was 0.89 points higher than the control group in the satisfaction for environmental education using web, showing a statistically significant difference. Fifth, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 1.70 points higher than the control group in the self-leading ability to learn environment, showing a statistically significant difference. Sixth, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 1.21 points higher than the control group in the effect of using environment homepage, showing a statistically significant difference. Finally, as a result of post-test, the average of the test group of web-based learning was 1.39 points higher than the control group in the internalization of environmental awareness, showing a statistically significant difference. Based on these results, it is assumed that the teaching method which applied web-based teaming to science and environmental education in elementary school is a effective strategy for elementary science and on environmental education.

친환경 정비공법 선정 지원을 위한 웹기반 정보시스템 구축 (Development for Eco-Design of Hydraulic Structures based on Web-based Information System)

  • Eco-friendly material and implementation methods have become important along with the existing standardized maintenance concept for the irrigation and flood control. However, the intrinsic function of the hydraulic structure is water supply and disaster prevention. Therefore, the material and work methods should be considered both eco-friendliness, durability and safety which are prerequisite elements to maintain the engineering function. In this study eco-friendly material and work methods would be classified into the vegetation based system, eco-friendly concrete system and stone-material system according to the characteristics of material. The quality standard for durability followed KS specification and related regulations. The quality standard for safety and eco-friendliness was set after literature review, and the database was developed using the standard. The structure applicable to onsite - the eco-friendly material and work method were classified based on the function and material of the hydraulic structure. Finally, database has been established for convenient management and selection of the proper material and work method. The eco-friendly material and work method could be searched easily for the convenience of the users, and the web-based data system has been developed for continuous registration of the material and work methods to be developed in the future.

잔류물질정보 제공을 위한 React 기반 웹 서비스 (React-based Web System Providing Residual Material Information)

  • 인터넷이 확산되면서 웹을 통해 사용자는 쉽게 다양한 서비스를 제공받고 정보를 교환할 수 있게 되었다. 웹 시스템을 구축할 때 다양한 요구 사항들이 존재하며, 사용자 목적에 적합한 언어 또는 플랫폼을 사용하여 웹 시스템을 구축해야 한다. 잔류물질정보란 식품 등에 첨가되는 의약품, 농약 들에 대한 정보들을 의미하며 그 중 잔류허용기준은 기업과 농민들이 생산하는 식품 내 잔류물질수치를 측정하여 해당 수치가 국내 혹은 국제 기준을 만족하는지 가늠하는 척도로 사용되고 있다. 현재 식품의약품안전처에서는 식품과 농약 및 동물용의약품을 포함한 식품첨가물에 대한 잔류허용기준을 문서 형태로 제공하고 있으며 이는 웹 시스템 구축을 통해 사용자가 원활하고 편리하게 서비스되어야 한다. 또한, 사용자 접근성을 포함하여 확장성, 호환성 등 다양한 요구 사항을 만족해야 한다. 본 논문은 사용자가 더 편리하게 접근할 수 있고 원활한 잔류물질정보를 제공받을 수 있는 React 기반 잔류물질정보 웹 시스템을 제안한다. 우리는 정보 제공에 있어 중요한 3가지 기능에 대한 속도를 측정하여 기존 잔류물질정보 웹 시스템과 비교하였으며 확장성, 호환성, 접근성 등 7가지 필수 요구 사항에 대하여 정성적으로 평가하였다.

웨브 배치 및 재질 변화를 고려한 CSR 기반 대형유조선의 구조설계 연구 (The Structural Design of a Large Oil Tanker based on the CSR by Considering the Web Arrangement and Material Property)

  • The structural design of oil tankers and bulk carriers should be performed based on the Common Structural Rules(CSR) which were recently established by the International Association Classification Societies(IACS). At first, in the structural design viewpoint, the scantling and hullweight based on the CSR should be compared with those of existing rules, and then a minimum weight/cost design should be performed by considering the variation of the number of web and the material property. In this study, the optimum web space and material property will be proposed by performing a minimum weight/cost design of a large oil tanker, and the results will be compared with those of existing ship. The longitudinal members are determined by SeaTrust-Holdan developed by the Korean Register of Shipping(KR), and the transverse members are determined by NASTRAN and PULS.
