When considering the use of rapid prototyping (RP), there are many issues a designer has to address for handling an STL model, the de facto standard fur RP. Today designers can skip all these issues by visiting web-based service bureaus that readily supply needed information for the RP services. Since orders are taken for RP parts through the web page of service providers designers are now asked to upload their STL files to the company server either by direct upload, ftp file transfer, or as an e-mail attachment. If the service bureau, however, fixes or edits an STL filceto optimize the RP process but neglects to tell its customer about the rework in detail, it may cause problems down the line in processing of the original CAD data for other applications. In this paper, we propose a framework for a collaborative virtual environment between CAD designers and RP processes on the internet which directly provides designers with an advanced preprocessor functionality, design visualization, as well as model display, repair, and slicing over the network. This can help smooth data transfer from CAD to RP process with minimum inconsistency in CAD.

The purpose of this research is to suggest how to develop the internet homepage of the general hospital. The research was operated with 72 general hospitals which were titled 'general hospital' by subject in internet web search engine. The contents of general hospital homepage was studied by internet screen. On the other hand, It was surveyed for homepage operation by mail questionaire. The contents was mainly composed with (1) introduction of hospital (2) medical examination and the treatment-related information (3) the information & communication (4) the general medicare service, specialist & employee service. In order to operate homepage effectively, inquiry system, reservation system, consulting, information search, phone number, etc, web database shall be established inside of hospital homepage which will link compatible with computer database in hospital. Human resources employment & purchasing order system used by a enterprise shall be in consideration of adopting, since it has various merits in light of hospital management.

Advances in information and communication technologies are changing our society greatly. In knowledge-based society, information can be obtained easily via communication tools such as web and e-mail. However, obtaining right and up-to-date information is difficult in spite of overflowing information. The concept of adaptive web site has been initiated recently. The purpose of the site is to provide information only users want out of tons of data gathered. In this paper, an algorithm is developed for adaptive web site construction. The proposed algorithm is based on association rules that are major principle in adaptive web site construction. The algorithm is constructed by analysing log data in web server and extracting meaning documents through finding behavior patterns of users. The proposed algorithm has the following characteristics. First, it is superior to existing algorithms using association rules in time complexity. Its superiority is proved theoretically. Second, the proposed algorithm is effective in space complexity. This is due to that it does not need any intermediate products except a linked list that is essential for finding frequent item sets.

The trend of the web is moving from portal-centered to user-centered, and RIA(rich internet application) is considered best solution for usability and functionality of the next generation web. But the lack of reference document or technical guide for RIA implementation is a big obstacle for extension of RIA environment to practical business engineer or user. In this paper, I will suggest the implementation conceptand reference site for user-centered environment based on RIA concept. The suggested concept support wire/wireless environment, and use the e-mail that is already used by many company or portal. The contents of this paper will be very helpful to the practical engineer or portal/company that want to use or implement about RIA environment.

With the increased use of GPS in the field of various applications including surveying, the request for fast and precise positional information has increased. Several countries such as USA, Canada, and Australia have already been operating Internet-based automatic GPS data analysis system using e-mail and FTP. Expanding GPS market, it is necessary to establish automatic GPS baseline processing system that is accessible via Internet. The system developed in this study is operating on the web, and it allows the users to access easily regardless of time and place. The main processing engines are Bernese V5.0 and PAGES. They process user data with three GPS CORS(Continuously Operating Reference Station), and then send the report to the users through e-mail. This system allows users to process high accurate GPS data easily. It is expected that this system will be used for various GPS applications such as monitoring large-scale structures and providing spatial information services in private sector.

This study was performed to investigate the dietary supplement use and related factors by college students attending in web class. One thousand four hundred college students(male: 632, female: 768) were participated in this study. The questionnaire about dietary supplements use, demographic characteristics, eating behavior, health-related lifestyles, nutrient intake was self-administered and the data were obtained via internet or mail. Dietary supplements were taken by 63.6%(male : 62.2%, female : 64.2%) of subjects. The higher concern about nutrition and health, the higher the incidence of dietary supplements taking was(p < 0.05). Dietary supplement users were satisfied more than non-users about meal served(p < 0.05). Supplements used by most male students were lactic acid beverage, Chinese medicine, geigogi geisoju and multivitamin, Chinese medicine, fiber-processed flood for female students. Most of dietary supplement users answered that the sources of information on supplements were 'friend, family or relatives' and 'TV or radio'. Dietary supplement users were taking significantly more nutrients compared to non-use. Therefore, it may be necessary to provide nutrition information and education which show that balanced diet is the best nutritional strategy for health promotion and diet supplements can be helpful in deficient state nutrients.

This paper developed a secure web-based digital notary system. The system conforms to international standards, and gives users very good accessibility to it. The technologies and the application systems for timestamp-related services are not yet popularized, but they are potentially meaningful to many kinds of areas such as ecommerces, digital right managements, and internet mail systems. The digital notary system uses the timestamp requests and responses which conforms to rfc 3161. The system supports secure communication between web-based notary server and its clients by using SSL(Secure Socket Layer), and use nonces for prevention of replay attacks.

World Wide Web(WWW) has a lot of useful charaters. Easiness of use, multi-media data supporting and interactive communication capability are typical reasons why people want to use WWW. But because WWW is based on Internet, it has some security problems which originate in plain format data transmission on physical transmission line. The unique solution fer this problems is data encryption. Since theoritically proved encryption algorithms ensure data confidentiality, a unauthorized user can not know what is transmitted on network. In this paper, we propose a cryptography system which uses public key system. In detail, our public key based web security mechanism is using PGP module. PGP is a e-mail security system implemented by Phil Zimmermann. The basic idea of our propose is data encryption and integrity checking for all data which is transmitted on Web. To implement these facilities, we. use netscape browser extension technology, plug-in. Through these technology, security mechanisms are added on netscape browser.

The appearance of various portal web sites that have individual customers, customizing information operate importantly upon a content. But most current portal sites that has a goal for international electronic commerce use information for customer to a simply individual profile and don't create more and new information that customizing. In this paper, we propose a system that generates a new customizing information with classification and analysis in detail and provides automatically to individual customers. The goal of our research is the development of personalizing auto generation agent that composed form of e-mail from preference of each individual user using open rate and mouse event Information for e-mail.

This paper describes a two-phase intelligent method for filtering spam mail based on textual information and hyperlinks. Scince the body of spam mail has little text information, it provides insufficient hints to distinguish spam mails from legitimate mails. To resolve this problem, we follows hyperlinks contained in the email body, fetches contents of a remote webpage, and extracts hints (i.e., features) from original email body and fetched webpages. We divided hints into two kinds of information: definite information (sender`s information and definite spam keyword lists) and less definite textual information (words or phrases, and particular features of email). In filtering spam mails, definite information is used first, and then less definite textual information is applied. In our experiment, the method of fetching web pages achieved an improvement of F-measure by 9.4% over the method of using on original email header and body only.
