The goal of this research was to investigate the actual wearing conditions of dementia inpatients in order to improve their clothes. The development of comfortable, functional and well-designed clothing for dementia inpatients can improve their clinical care environment and also provide dementia inpatients and their caregivers with a promoted quality of life. The data were collected through field research and interview survey on the inpatient's clothing being used at 10 dementia hospitals and 11 dementia nursing care facilities. The results were as follows, First, the uniforms of light dementia inpatients were the pajamas styles those of the general inpatient's uniforms. The uniforms of severe dementia inpatients were jump suits or pajamas styles. Second, the top styles of pajamas were shirts of front opening style with buttons, round neckline, full length sleeves and over armholes. Their bottoms were the pants of no opening style with elastic band and full length. The design of the jump suits had back and under opening styles with zippers. Third, dementia inpatient clothes have to be improved in the areas of sizing systems, structure for putting on and taking off, fasteners and open styles and clothing material, as well as the aesthetic approach.

This study aims to analyze the characteristics and styles of wearing scarves in the contemporary fashion. Scarf-wearing styles found in the contemporary fashion are as follows: 1) Scarves are used as gorgeous hair accessories which are tied around the head like a headband, turban. 2) The second style is to wear scarves around the neck, which involves a variety of ideas. 3) Shawl-like scarves add elegance and femininity to any outfit when they are draped over the shoulders. 4) Scarves are also worn instead of or in addition to a belt with a dress, skirt, pants. 5) The style is to tie a scarf in knots at the back of the neck and the waist as it is shaped or in a diagonally half-folded shape. 6) You can tie a scarf to your hat or handbag or connect a long scarf to one part of your body.

The present research investigated perceptions of persons wearing Korean and Western clothing with reference to judgement of appropriateness of style in a variety of socially interacting contexts and relationship to social schemata and to general clothing interest. 180 male and 180 female students responded to open-ended and Likert-type questionnaires. The stimuli were 9 line drawings of male and female figures in traditional Korean and Western formal and informal attire. Data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, and mean. Traditional Korean clothing was judged as inappropriate on the campus and in the office but appropriate in the ambiguous context. Korean traditional styles were related to person schemata, but Western styles were related to role schemata. Furthermore, Korean styles were considered to be 'impractical' and 'inactive.' A newly emerging perception of persons wearing Korean attire as 'individualistic' and 'radical activist' was discovered. Impressions of persons wearing traditional Korean clothing were partially related to subject's own clothing interest.

We investigated the characteristics of subjects in marine leisure activities and the wearing conditions of a rash guard through a consumer survey. The questionnaire examined the number of rash guards owned by different styles, wearing size, choice of rash guard compared with ordinary clothes, and the satisfaction in a rash guard (color, textile, size, quality, price, function, and design) using Likeret Scales. The subjects were 105 adult men and the data analysis utilized an SPSS 20.0 Package. The results were significant for wearing conditions correspondent with the marine leisure activities. More years of experience resulted in a higher number of rash guards owned. A higher level of participation in sport resulted in more different styles of rash guards. More years of experience resulted in an increase preference for tight rash guards. In the case of wearing L and XL size that selected the smaller rash guard over the ordinary clothes, it was evaluated at "satisfaction" level in color, textile, size, quality, function, design. In the case of wearing XS, S and M size that did the larger and same as ordinary, it was at "ordinary" level and bellow.

This study is focused on finding out the differences in wearing robe styles of Buddhist Statues between Shilla and Tien-lung Mountain. (1) Shilla Buddhist Statues are wearing Pyun-Sam that is similar to Jeogori(the traditional jacket of Korea). (2) Bok-Gyen-Uy of Tien-lung Buddhist Statues are roundish shape, and that of Shilla Buddhist Statues are oblique line. It is possible to conclude that these shapes are very concerned with the wearing style of each nation. (3) We can find another difference in the chest sash. Chest sach of Tien-lung Buddhist Statues is more functional, but that of Shilla Buddhist Statues is more decorative. (4) Wearing Kasa, Young-Ja(i,e.string of kasa) is used in Shilla Buddhist Statues, but not in Tien-lung Buddhist Statues. This the most different thing between Shilla Buddhist Statues and Tien-lung Buddhist Statues.

The purpose of this study is to review, from the point of view that the advertisements are cultural system which transfers the life styles or value systems of a certain time, the expression styles by analyzing written clothing described in underwear advertisements of women's magazines targeting the women aged from twenties to forties, that advertisements are trying to represent. Accordingly, this study is intended to provide the underwear industry with useful information for implementing sales strategies by verifying the determining factors in selecting and wearing of underwear. The result of this study is as follows : First, the headlines of advertisements could be analyzed through merchandise, situation and consumers and were categorized by the fourteen different expression styles such as functionality, sense of beauty, tradition, future, family, exotic, globalization, environment, sensuality, youth, individuality, health, newness and top-class. Therefore, the advertisers choose and provide the various expression styles in order to maximize the delivering power of the underwear advertisements. Second, frequently used expression styles have been analyzed through frequency analysis of expression styles and, as a result, the important factors of choosing and wearing underwear have been verified. In addition, the fact that the ways of thinking of modern society and value systems are implied in the expression of underwear advertisements has been found.

This study aimed to enhance the comfort of health masks by conducting in-depth interviews, online surveys, and wearing tests on commercial health masks. The findings are summarized below. In-depth interviews revealed that the most comfortable mask styles were ranked as follows: Beak-1 (B-1) & Beak-2 (B-2) style > Flat style > 3-Horizontal foldable (3H) style. Men generally preferred flat style masks, while women favored beak-shaped masks. The internet survey results showed that 77.8% of surveyed brands offered a variety of mask styles, with 3H and B-2 masks being the most common. Different brands provided masks with different filtration levels, ranging from KF-AD to KF94. Size consistency also varied among brands, with flat masks having relatively consistent dimensions and B-2 masks showing significant size differences. Wearing tests indicated that 3H and B-1 masks were highly satisfying for categories like "itchiness," "unpleasant odor," and "mask slipping." Conversely, flat masks scored the highest satisfaction in classifications such as "stiff," "heavy," "thick," "hot while wearing it," "moisture accumulation," "breathing discomfort," "short ear straps," and "itchiness". Overall, the flat style, B-1, and B-2 yielded higher satisfaction levels, while 4-Horizontal foldable (4H) and 3H garnered lower satisfaction scores on wearing tests.

The purpose of study is to investigate costumes of the heroin in the opera which has performed by 4 different directors ; Metropolitan opera by Franco Zeffirelli, San francisco opera by David Hockney, Salzburg Festival by David Pountney and Korea Arena opera by Zhang Yi-mou. In these performances, Her costumes normally expressed the change of her characteristic from a haughty and cruel lady to a lady who realized a true love. The former is wearing exaggerative and splendid styles while the latter is wearing simple and ladylike styles. Costume styles of each performance are like this. In the Metropolitan's opera, costumes are very splendid using brilliant fabrics and accessories of Chinese peking opera. Their costume styles are influenced by Chinese 'Pao' which is similar to Ming Style. In the San Francisco's opera, costumes are very simple, specially pattern of dragons. This silhouette mixed Chinese style and western dress. In the Salzburg Festival's opera, costumes are based on simple western style but they expressed her mind effectively like a extremely long skirt which means her haughtiness. In the Seoul arena opera, costumes are based on Ming styles using silk which embroidered dragons, phoenixes and flowers.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the actual wearing conditions of working uniform and identify problems for the aircraft mechanic. For this study, questionnaire surveys were conducted dividing according to styles of clothing; one-piece and two-piece styles. Subjects were 343 men working in flight line. Questionnaire of 159 two-piece styles and 184 one-piece ones were used in analysis. The results of the study are as follows; The result about wearing each type of working uniform showed that the two-piece one is always as the air force uniform, whereas the one-piece one is worn only a few times. They felt inconvenience during all operations except in the sitting position, crawling position, and positions in which they were using tools. Accordingly, the result of the functionality reported dissatisfaction on all question items. Therefore, uniform of two-piece style achieved better results on all questions related to motional flexibility and functionality. Questions on changes to finishing methods showed that each airline employed different methods for both two-pieced and one-pieced uniforms. The answers about the unstitched or worn-out parts of the two-piece garments showed that pants were unstitched on the inner seam of the trouser leg and hip regions, but the upper one was not. In case of the one-pieced uniform, the parts of wearing out is the seam of hip and the unstitched parts are knee region and hem line of pants. Questions concerning their satisfaction with the material of uniforms indicated a high rate of dissatisfaction, particularly in its ventilation and absorbency. Questions concerning the preferred design of working uniform indicated a preference for two-piece uniform rather than one-piece ones.

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has caused a recession in the fashion industry. Therefore, this study aims to assess the influence of face masks on the selection of fashion products by Korean women in their twenties and thirties. This is highly relevant as the mandatory donning of face masks becomes a social norm. To this end, an in-depth interview and a survey were conducted. The results indicate that wearing a face mask affects consumers' fashion selection criteria in regard to styles, materials, colors, and types. Face masks have gradually contributed to the unification and simplification of fashion styles due to the atmosphere and wearing of the mask itself, which has led to a decline in the overall interest in fashion. Most consumers in this study felt a disconnect between face masks and fashion products, since the former have not been established within most fashion styles. Consequently, consumers had difficulty naturally aligning face masks with various fashion styles, which eventually led to a decreased interest in fashion. This study is significant in that it provides objective data that can be utilized to establish strategies in the fashion industry regarding the integration of face masks.
