Pets (such as dogs) are considered as important as family members, this perspective is due to an aging population and the decreased size of the traditional nuclear family. The pet industry has been growing every year; subsequently, is useful to develop practical patterns and designs appropriate for the body structure and movement of pet dogs. However, studies to develop a new form of pet dog's wear patterns and designs are limited. This study develops a basic pattern that is easily used based on a pet dog's size, designs popular clothing items for pet dogs, and helps in the manufactures of pet dog's wear. The results are as follow: 1) Analyzed categories and popular items of pet dog's wear from the research of the prior studies and on-line pet dog shopping malls; three categories (everyday wear, street wear, and special wear) and six items (T-shirt, one-piece, coat, jumper, and dress, tuxedo). 2) Developed the basic bodice pattern and sleeve pattern after test-wearing and revising the experimental patterns referenced from prior studies. 3) Developed patterns and designs for six popular items based on situation and gender: one-piece (everyday wear), coat (street wear), wedding dress (special wear) for female dogs/T-shirt (everyday wear), hood jumper (street wear), tuxedo (special wear) for male dogs. 4) Developed the previous six items to illustrate the research results of the study.
The aim of this study is to investigate problems with both fit and abrasion of golf gloves through a survey of golf usage among golfers over the age of 30, as well as by analyzing the golf glove industry with an emphasis on the size system and marketing situation. In addition, this study aims to suggest the basic raw materials for improving the design of golf gloves through physical properties inspections. The results of the analyses support the following suggestions. First of all, dissatisfaction arose from improper measurement in glove length. The survey showed that most problems occur in the pinky finger, while only the length of the middle finger of the glove is recorded based on Korean Standard Anthropometries Measurement. Clearly, proper measurements of every finger need to be included in the system. Secondly, the survey results clearly indicated regions 7(palm area) and 3(second finger area) as the areas requiring reinforcement. While the method of patching another layer with the same material is commonly used in the current glove market, materials other than genuine leather are unable to complement the abrasion. This study suggests that another layer of refill type genuine leather, which scored best in the physical properties inspection, needs to be patched onto regions 7 and 3.
The main purposes of this study were to find out the new classification system of the clothing evaluative criteria(CEC), 3nd to clear up the relationshiops of new classification system and the existing classification systems. For this purpose, the existing literatures related with the CEC(the classification system, and the variables) were investigated. The results of the study were as follows: 1. The existing classification systems were 'the intrinsic. non-intrinsic classification', 'the level classification', 'the purchase process classification' The new classification system of the CEC is based on 'the view-point of subjets'. The system was divided into the point of clothing itself, the wearer, the other, the wearing situation. The wearer's point of view is divided into the point of the value, and the physical characteristics of wearer 2. The image was included as the concept of the CEC, and the image classification could be suggested. 3. The relationships of the classification systems were as follows: $\circled1$ The intrinsic. non-intrinsic classification system included the level classification, the view-point classification, the image classification, and the buying process classificstion. $\circled2$ The level classification, the view.point classification, and the image classification were linked mutually, but the buying process classification is seperated from these classifications.
In this study, the transition characteristics of purple series color names appearing in the clothing of the Joseon Dynasty were examined, and the associational meaning of each name were investigated through various methods. The results are as follows; First, Such characteristics as continuity, differentiation, substitution could be observed through the investigation of color names of purple-series appeared on the clothing in the Joseon Dynasty period. Secondly, the associational meaning could be subdivided into; social position symbolic meanings, usage meanings, economic meanings, and thought meanings. The social position symbolic meanings could be observed mainly in the single names which has been used since the ancient times, usage meanings could be observed in a wide variety according to the individual color names. The economic meanings could be observed by comparing the value of colored cloths and colored threads. The thought meanings were mainly related with the Confucianism. Thirdly, the associational semantic structure were established on the basis of associational meanings of purple-series color names. Individual color name on the social position symbolic semantic structure symbolizes [government official] and [servant]. Through usage semantic structure individual color names could be understood structurally according to the social position, sex distinction, wearing situation, items of clothing, and structure of clothing. Individual names on the economic semantic structure were segmented by the semantic components of the values in [high], [medium], [low] prices, kinds and quantity of dyes. The thought semantic structure could be subdivided [Confucianism] and [The Thought of Taeil] in its semantic structure.
Rococo, which is represented as immoderate pleasure and luxurious aristocratism, had required to be liberal and unconventional in art and life, and the hairstyles were also much more fantastic, huge, and splendid than ever. Women's hairstyles in the early 18th century were the relatively simple style of Pompadour style that didn't inflate hairs and combed them backward. Then, as changes in haristyles began to appear in around 1760, the styles became gradually higher and huger, and very queer styles also appeared. In the 1780s, they ornamented these hairdos by using various things. This can be considered as women's behaviors that showed off their status and wealth instead of their husbands. Although men's hairstyles were not as huge and decorative as women's, wigs were worn frequently. Wigs became smaller and simpler than those in 17C, and while wearing them, they made wigs whitened by spraying hair-powders enough not to recognize their ages. Several names such as Pig tail, Ramilleis, Bag wig, Brigadiere, and so on existed, according to the way to tie the wigs. Somewhat exaggerated men's hairstyles were shown by Macaronis in 1780s. However, this can be regarded to reflect the situation of the age.
The purpose of this study was to provide the available date to improve the uniform e of the woman employee of the department more aesthetical and functional on the base of the former studies on their situation of uniform wearing. The process of the study was to compare and evaluate the studied uniforms made of elastic material with the one two times after pattern amendment. The nine subjects composed of threes of 20s, 30s and 40s of age and the evaluators were 5 clothing experts. The 5 scored scale of sensory evaluation method was used to evaluate the appearance and the moving function. The data were analysed with mean and t-test. The results were as flowers: 1.The material of blouse was changed with Poly-span to improve the appearance and the moving function. 2.The new uniform got far more good evaluations in the appearance and the moving function showing the significant difference in p<.001 level. 3.The improved uniform blouse pattern was presented fig2 and fig3.
The purpose of this study is to clarify the change of important clothing evaluative criteria according to the clothing buying process and to bulid the flow chart of clothing buying process and clothing evaluative criteria. The study is carried out in two ways, they are, literature study and empirical survey. The results are as following; 1. the change of the important clothing evaluative criteria according to the clothing buying process is found out. 2. The clothing buying process is that problem recognition -1 decision of clothing wearing situation $\rightarrow$ search and evaluation of genaral Clothing information $\rightarrow$ decision of price limit $\rightarrow$ (search and evaluation of brand information 1 narrowing of brand range) $\rightarrow$ search and evaluation of store information $\rightarrow$ decision of store $\rightarrow$ search and evaluation of clothings in the store $\rightarrow$ narrowing of determinant clothing range $\rightarrow$ trial, trial evaluation and decision $\rightarrow$ buy-ing (or reject) $\rightarrow$ result evaluation. 3. The flow chart is built by the clothing buying process and the clothing evaluative criteria
This study researches the application methods of Wearable Technology (WT) realizing the convergence of Design and Electronics that could broaden the fashion expression boundaries to correspond to current convergence trends. For this, students in the Department of Fashion design and the Department of Electronics conducted an oriented convergence-design-workshop. The initial step of the workshop, included a lecture on WT including existing cases and brainstorming. As a result, two types of concepts; 'Light' using the lighting technology and 'Complex' using transforming and lighting technologies together were generated. Designers created garments that did not externally expose digital devices and engineers then configured basic systems with the minimum size of the devices applying. At the development stage, designers constructed internal structures of garments which do not influence the comfort situation and activities of those wearing the garments. Engineers then adjusted and finished the fashion prototypes' whole WT systems drawing on designers' guidelines. As the result of this study's workshop, the fashion prototypes were extracted by collaboration according to WT concepts; therefore, there could be the promising potential to broaden fashion expression boundaries through the application of WT.
There are about 13,000 freight cars in Korea. The holding amount of the freight cars are many more than the other types of cars. But the bogie structure has many friction parts, so three are many hold-ups for the maintenance problem on the spot. As seen in Fig. 1 friction parts are organized of 30 parts in case of welding structure bogie. Especially left-right positions of the axle box have severe problems for the wear, they occurs the reduction of maintenance period, a lowering of the running safety. Generally the thickness of wear plate is 4.5mm and attached to bogie by way of welding method. At the running situation the friction occurs in wear plate each other. Namely the role of the wear plate reduce the load from the carbody. So we need the wear plate fur low-wearing, adequate friction power.
The Joseon Tongsinsa Festival has been held annually in May in Busan. It reenacts the procession of the Joseon Tongsinsa that the Joseon Government delegated to Japan four times in the 18th century. In the most important situation during the meandering period, three envoys (Jeongsa, Busa, Jongsagwan) who led the Joseon Tongsinsa, wore Jobok, but at the Joseon Tongsinsa Festival, the three envoys are wearing Jobok, which are not historically accurate. The Jobok called Geumgwan Jobok and were comprised of Yanggwan, Eui, Sang, Jungdan, Peasul, Su, Pumdae, Daedae, Paeok, Hall, Mal, and Hwa. These were ranked from first class to ninth class by personal ornamentation such as Yanggwan, Su, Pumdae, Paeok. So, this study is focused on ascertaining the Jobok of the 18th century for the three envoys who were ranked third grade. This study is based on literature, artifacts, and portraits that can depict the 18th century Jobok including all components. It was based on The 7th Korean Human Body Survey Final Report (2015) in order to produce all components of the Jobok of the modern males in their 50s who are playing the role of the three envoys in the Joseon Tongsinsa Festival.
