This study is performed both for notification of knowledge level about water fluoridation program for residents of Haeundae, Busan and for finding out the purpose of solving methods of problems which could appeared in water fluoridation program, it has resulted by the survey of 460 Haeundae citizens from August 5, 2005 thru 20th of same month. 1. The drinking water for Haeundae Residents is occupied of 42.8% of the purified water and 31.3% of public tap water, among these, the cooking water is consist of 48.3% of the tap water and 35.4% of the purified water. 2. 35.7% of participants has already known about the water fluoridation program, but 42.0% hasn't, 22.4% were no answer. 3. For the question why water fluoridation program has done 42.0% answered for caries prevention, 32.3% for disinfection of tap water and 15.0% for tap water purification. 4. For water fluoridation program, 78.0% approved and 22.0% disapproved, among reasons 51.0% of approvals were caries prevention and 38.6% of disapproval were that fluorine can be harmful for the human body. 5. There is a fact that fluorine is contained in food, beverage, water, and air, only 21.3% has notified that fact, on the other hand 78.7% hasn't, among teens, 93.5% doesn't know the fluorine containing facts. 6. In the safety notification rate of water fluoridation program, 39.3% notifies it safe, 55.7% showed unknown response, and the speech 28.3% may be the best way to notify it.
For cope with the participating government promoted local decentralization of the present time, local governments are coming to aim at the realization of local governance. Local governance refers to a way of solving public problems of urban area through partnership which is a collaboration and participation based on 'relationship' among diverse interested parties such as executive authority of policy, private sectors. First of all, it is most important task to make transparency and responsibility of all people and networks by themselves through sharing information. With like this kind of a background, local assembly is an momentos body of local governance because it is a decision making organization at the same time as a representative organization of local residents, and it has a relationship of 'check and balance' with chiefs of local governments as an organization monitoring and supervising the administration of an executive authority. Not the less, information about local assembly does not open to the public or exist. Even some informations open to the public, they are not enough to be settled distrust and low-valuation by civil society. Now Local assembly is face to a point that improve over all of record management. This study is based like this critical mind, then, it examines throughly local assembly's realities by suggestion with reforming plan of record management. Record can embody true values when record management practices indefatigably through prudential system from production until preservation. Accordingly, this study suggests management of transaction unit without the omission of record. Also this study is satisfy the condition of Korean record management system with proposals of record management policy and establishment of record center. At the conclusion of study, it puts effects into shape that local assembly secure transparency and responsibility and organize local governance by record management.

In the entertainment industry, risk management is crucial for securing competitiveness due to the risk of investment. The competitiveness of contents is reinforced when external factors such as industrial environment and internal factors centering on involving mechanism are simultaneously provided. The involving mechanism is a form of cognitive response behavior of the audience and occurs through signal processing of the brain when watching the image contents. The signal processing of the brain related to the contents watching is mainly performed in the working memory area, and in the case of the captivating movie, the information other than the contents transmitted to the audience is blocked to generate a temporary dissociation state. A dissociation state similar to a symptom such as hypnosis or amnesia occurs when the audience's level of involving is high. On the other hand, contents information in which the audience is concentrating his attention is used intensively for constructing future thinking through an episodic buffer while the inflow of external information is relatively blocked or delayed. The spectator's future thinking configuration takes the form of a hypothesis-forming activity and is based on the predictability of the brain. When these hypothesized behaviors correspond to the problem solving simulation of story and predictability which is an evolutionary function of the brain, the audience' s brain is involved in the contents at a high level. In order for the act to be effective, the factors such as the background of the hypothesis, the subject of the hypothesis, the internal information of the person, the type and position and quantity of the hypothesis information, and the hypothesis relevance and type of information are important. Based on these factors, analysis of the Kim Eun Sook Drama 'Goblin' shows that the above elements are operated in a very organic and meaningful way.

Korean society has frequently seen the conflicts between environmentally oriented ideology and development ideology which generally take shape as regional problems. An interesting example is the case of Paldang water resource protection area in Yangpyung-kun, Kyunggi Province. At the area, the rural residents are trying to take regional development by utilizing as much as natural resource in the region, and the central government is trying to make clean water sustained for the public interest of the whole people living within the supplying area of the water resource. Accordingly, the conflict is inevitable. It is the role of environmental movement group that makes us pay attention to this region. Under the present situation regarding environmental protection as a core keyword, the environmental protection groups tend to stand on the side of the central government. That is, those groups let the government consolidate its dominance discourse, which help the resistance discourse of the residents weakened. This basic structure of relationship sometimes touches off the situations of antagonistic confrontation. It is the group for organic fanning movement on the region that is playing a significant mediating role between the two. It has eased severe confrontation, and has persuaded the residents, expecially the farmers, to accept so-called win-win strategies which are related with various kind of organic fanning. The agriculture can be regarded as a win-win action because it is a way of fanning adapted to the protected natural environment. It is taking firm hold in this region as an alternative which can satisfy the ideology of 'sustainable development' or 'sustainability'. It could give us a kind of paradoxical confusion that the strategies of regional development of pro-environment are being carried out in the region where the residents are fighting against the government's strict control of natural environment. The example of this region, however, could show a significant direction for solving the continuous problem of conflict between environmental protection and regional development.
The purpose of this study is to find the meaning of the good class, and based on this, situation of environmental education in high school is researched. Through those above processes, desirable direction of the environment class is suggested. For this study, we are trying to reflect the characteristics of environmental education on the general good classes, and from this, the meaning of good environment class is known. Moreover, for this study, we choose environment classes from four high schools leading by environment major teacher. From those four classes, we analyzed these things: educational situation of environment class, teachers' interviews. All of these are for analyzing environment class with the view of good environmental class. A well-formed environment class manifests the features of environment education in all aspects of teaching and learning process, including learning objectives, learning materials, procedures, and evaluations. Furthermore, it should be 'student-centered' class in which active interaction among the learners or between the instructor and the students is considered most important. Students are not the passive receiver, but rather, they actively participate in the learning process by reorganizing the knowledge as they experience and become independent learners who are actively involved in the problem-solving process. In this way, we can generate a great deal of students' interest and motivation, which in turn makes the class interesting, enjoyable, full of energy and still effective. If there is the class reflecting the factors of environmental education above good class' ways, it will be the good environment class. In the current situation of environment class, the rate of student's class participation and study activity was low. This tendency is not too different between four groups except students' support to teachers. This result means that learners' will to participate in their classes actively is not high. Moreover, about 46.3% of students did not understand some parts of new knowledge and about the parts, students' solution was 'does nothing' and the rate was also so high. Teachers tried to make their class with considering students' interest, and focusing their learner's real life. However, learners are all general education high school students, so teachers have aversion about making their students heavy activities.

This study, from a critical view on knowledge-centered science education, aims to explore the wisdom that can be acquired from science. In other words, to find the categories and examples of "Wisdom of Science(WOS)" that can be shared in science classroom is the purpose of this study. For the data collection, twelve hours of physics classes of three high schools were observed, together with teacher interviews and student interviews. Collected data were analyzed qualitatively based on the operational definition of WOS. In this study, WOS was defined in a limited sense to mean 'wise action such as behaviors, attitudes, methods, and thoughts that can be found in the process of formation and application of scientific knowledge'. The results of this study, i.e. three categories and six examples of WOS, can be summarized as follows. First category of WOS is 'wisdom as a scientific attitude'. The examples of this category are 'rational suspicion and open-minded attitude', and 'effort to find the best way in given situation'. Second category of WOS is 'wisdom as a method for problem solving'. The examples of this category are 'thinking with changing the conditions', and 'communication using the language of science'. Third category of WOS is 'wisdom as a reflection about science and human'. The examples of this category are 'understanding of the relationship between science and society', and 'perceiving the relationship between science and my life'. In conclusion, "Wisdom-oriented Science Education" as an alternative goal of future science education is suggested with its meanings and implications.
During the past decades, there has been a fundamental change in the objectives and nature of mathematics education, as well as a shift in research paradigms. The changes in mathematics education emphasize learning mathematics from realistic situations, students' invention or construction solution procedures, and interaction with other students of the teacher. This shifted perspective has many similarities with the theoretical . perspective of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) developed by Freudental. The RME theory focused the guide reinvention through mathematizing and takes into account students' informal solution strategies and interpretation through experientially real context problems. The heart of this reinvention process involves mathematizing activities in problem situations that are experientially real to students. It is important to note that reinvention in a collective, as well as individual activity, in which whole-class discussions centering on conjecture, explanation, and justification play a crucial role. The overall purpose of this study is to examine the developmental research efforts to adpat the instructional design perspective of RME to the teaching and learning of differential equation is collegiate mathematics education. Informed by the instructional design theory of RME and capitalizes on the potential technology to incorporate qualitative and numerical approaches, this study offers as approach for conceptualizing the learning and teaching of differential equation that is different from the traditional approach. Data were collected through participatory observation in a differential equations course at a university through a fall semester in 2003. All class sessions were video recorded and transcribed for later detailed analysis. Interviews were conducted systematically to probe the students' conceptual understanding and problem solving of differential equations. All the interviews were video recorded. In addition, students' works such as exams, journals and worksheets were collected for supplement the analysis of data from class observation and interview. Informed by the instructional design theory of RME, theoretical perspectives on emerging analyses of student thinking, this paper outlines an approach for conceptualizing inquiry-oriented differential equations that is different from traditional approaches and current reform efforts. One way of the wars in which thus approach complements current reform-oriented approaches 10 differential equations centers on a particular principled approach to mathematization. The findings of this research will provide insights into the role of the mathematics teacher, instructional materials, and technology, which will provide mathematics educators and instructional designers with new ways of thinking about their educational practice and new ways to foster students' mathematical justifications and ultimately improvement of educational practice in mathematics classes.
The newly revised mathematics curriculum of 2007 speaks of ultimate goal to develop ability to think and communicate mathematically, in order to develop ability to rationally deal with problems arising from the life around, which puts emphasize on mathematical communication. In this study, analysis on mathematical communication and analogical thinking process of group of students with similar level of academic achievement and that with different level, and thus analyzed if such communication has affected analogical thinking process in any way. This study contains following subjects: 1. Forms of mathematical communication took placed at the two groups based on achievement level were analyzed. 2. Analogical thinking process was observed through trapezoid's area obtaining activity and analyzed if communication within groups has affected such process anyhow. A framework to analyze analogical thinking process was developed with reference of problem solving procedure based on analogy, suggested by Rattermann(1997). 15 from 24 students of year 5 form of N elementary school at Gunpo Uiwang, Syeonggi-do, were selected and 3 groups (group A, B and C) of students sharing the same achievement level and 2 groups (group D and E) of different level were made. The students were led to obtain areas of parallelogram and trapezoid for twice, and communication process and analogical thinking process was observed, recorded and analyzed. The results of this study are as follow: 1. The more significant mathematical communication was observed at groups sharing medium and low level of achievement than other groups. 2. Despite of individual and group differences, there is overall improvement in students' analogical thinking: activities of obtaining areas of parallelogram and trapezoid showed that discussion within subgroups could induce analogical thinking thus expand students' analogical thinking stage.

The present work proposes an improved numerical simulator for design and modification of large area capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) processing chamber. CCP, as notoriously well-known, demands the tremendously huge computational cost for carrying out transient analyses in realistic multi-dimensional models, because electron dissociations take place in a much smaller time scale (${\Delta}t{\approx}10-8{\sim}10-10$) than time scale of those happened between neutrals (${\Delta}t{\approx}10-1{\sim}10-3$), due to the rf drive frequencies of external electric field. And also, for spatial discretization of electron flux (Je), exponential scheme such as Scharfetter-Gummel method needs to be used in order to alleviate the numerical stiffness and resolve exponential change of spatial distribution of electron temperature (Te) and electron number density (Ne) in the vicinity of electrodes. Due to such computational intractability, it is prohibited to simulate CCP deposition in a three-dimension within acceptable calculation runtimes (<24 h). Under the situation where process conditions require thickness non-uniformity below 5%, however, detailed flow features of reactive gases induced from three-dimensional geometric effects such as gas distribution through the perforated plates (showerhead) should be considered. Without considering plasma chemistry, we therefore simulated flow, temperature and species fields in three-dimensional geometry first, and then, based on that data, boundary conditions of two-dimensional plasma discharge model are set. In the particular case of SiH4-NH3-N2-He CCP discharge to produce deposition of SiNxHy thin film, a cylindrical showerhead electrode reactor was studied by numerical modeling of mass, momentum and energy transports for charged particles in an axi-symmetric geometry. By solving transport equations of electron and radicals simultaneously, we observed that the way how source gases are consumed in the non-isothermal flow field and such consequences on active species production were outlined as playing the leading parts in the processes. As an example of application of the model for the prediction of the deposited thickness uniformity in a 300 mm wafer plasma processing chamber, the results were compared with the experimentally measured deposition profiles along the radius of the wafer varying inter-electrode gap. The simulation results were in good agreement with experimental data.
In this study, the model of Turtle Ship, which is evaluated as one of the world's first ironclad ship in battle as well as the traditional scientific and technological heritage in Korea, was combined with the Physical Computing Platform(Arduino and App Inventor) that enables students to learn the basic concepts of IT in an easy and fun way. Thus, this study contrived the Physical Computing Platform-based Turtle Ship model which will make the students of Industrial Specialized High School develop the technological literacy and humanities-based knowledge through flexible education out of stereotype and single subject as well as enhance the potential of creative convergence education. The following is a summary of the main results obtained through this study: First, Arduino-based Main-controller design and making is helpful to learn of the hardware and software knowledge about EEC(Electron Electronics Control) and to confirm the basic characteristics and performance of interaction of Arduino and actuators. Second, The fundamental Instructional environments of abilities such as implementing EEC systems, thinking logically, and problem-solving skills were provided by designing of pattern diagram, designing an actuator circuit and making, the creation of sketches as technical programming and developing of mobile app. Thirdly, This is physical computing platform based Turtle ship model that will enable students to bring up their technological literacy and interest in the cultural heritage.
