  • This study aims to recognize that creative thinking methodologies can be adopted in the spatial design. The concept of 'Convergent' and 'Divergent' used in structure of intellect model by Guilford is chosen to understand the character of creative thinking methodologies. Technical and physical contradictions is analyzed for '40 inventive principles' of TRIZ and spatial design works. Through this study, we recognize that the creative thinking methodologies consist of analysis, idea generation and evaluation phase. The psychological inertia that limits the creative thinking should be move away from solving problem, and convergent and divergent thinking have peculiarities to be adopted in condition and to be harmonized, and to set the direction of solving technical problems through to reach the target point integrated way of thinking is needed. '40 inventive principles' by Altshuller are based on engineering and useful in many areas of fields. However some principles are not accepted in design process because these are not considered in design field and paradigm is changed from machine to nature. Nowadays, nature is a prime issue for sustainable human life, because it has sustainable recycle structure and saving energy ways. Thus, creative thinking, including TRIZ is useful in design education and progress, and should be an essential element to get a new design paradigm.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the influences of demographic, personal and psychosocial variables on the wives' marital satisfaction in order to develop theories about the stablility of modern families. The data, collected from 490 mothers living in Seoul, is analyzed by statistical methods, such as Frequency Distribution, Pearson's Correlation, One-Way ANOVA, Scheffee-test and Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings are as follows: 1) In my study, the Marital Satisfaction Scale consists of 7 dimensions; of which affective communication, problem-solving communication, and companionship are comparatively important variables. 2) Of demographic variables, wives' educational level is an influencing variable in 6 dimensions, and family monthly income, in general satisfaction. 3) Of personal variables, sex role attitude is a significantly influencing independent variable in satisfaction with children area and self actualization, variable in problem-solving communication area. 4) Of psychosocial variables, role enactment, role consensus, and role strain are proved to be influencing variables, but role salience is not. Also, role enactment is the most influencing independent variable in almost areas of marital satisfaction. 5) By given independent variables, variance is explained 30% of all. The implication that can be inferred from the above findings is that psychosocial variables are more important than demographic variables, and that personal variables such as androgyny, self-actualization should be encouraged to further research.

  • Such effects would be paid off in the right way only when management of the firms perform marketing activities focusing on long term effectiveness, which would drive company profits up and keep them for long. Demands of customers are being changed and varied. In this result with the advantage of mass marketing and database marketing have been drawing attentions from company. To fulfill these demands of customer, they need a concept of eCRM(Web based Customer Relationship Management), and go from selling products and services, or gathering customer requests, up to the phase of solving customer's problem by real time or previous action. With the help of internet, the frequency and speed of the problem solving has improved greatly. For these purposes, we try to determine the most important and most urgent factors in eCRM: utilization by using SN Ratio Decision making, one of the Multi-criteria decision-making methods SN Ratio Decision making is widely used for determining relative magnitude per evaluation item, i. e. priority on problems and is expected to make more systematic and objective evaluations than conventional methods do. Even in the present situation where any general criterion on eCRM dose not exist, utilization of eCRM is expected to be actively continued, which will cause many problems. In this regard, evaluating eCRM counts.

  • This study examined how elementary teachers perceive and use "problem-posing" as a way to improve students' problem-solving skills in their mathematics classrooms. In the study, a total of 193 teachers in metropolitan areas were surveyed and a subset of 4 teachers were selected for depth-interviews. Results of the study included that teachers did not have a clear understanding of the study included that teachers did not have a clear understanding of the intended meaning of "problem-posing" although many of them have heard about the idea itself. Therefore, "problem-posing" was not fully utilized in their mathematics instructional and assessment. It is suggested that there is a need to develop instructional materials and related professional development of teachers for better instruction of problem-posing in the mathematics classroom.

  • These days, public attention is being directed to the design processes by which a final outcome can be produced to achieve its goal according to the logical plans, as it is hard to address recent problems in design by the existing intuitive way due to the paradigm shift of design. Thus, this study aims to suggest creative fashion design processes to create a product as a final outcome by intentional and systematic processes. This study showed that design is considered as comprehensive problem solving processes, and it proposes framework of processes by integrating processes of industrial design and fashion design. In addition, this study classified creativity development methods that can be implemented to fashion design into promotion of ideas, breaking out of stereotypes, and extension of search areas. These creativity development methods can be applied to fashion design processes in order to make plans and strategies systematically and help you to choose the best ways to solve problems by processes.

  • This paper considers the arrival, airport and departure capacity as a whole, through which, the network effect between airports is fully emphasized, the flight action is coordinated, and the flight demand pattern is reasonably assigned. The optimization problem of flight queues in multi-airport is studied in detail; the mathematical model of multi-airport opening non-real time flow management in terminal area is established, and related problems such as the parameters, the simplification and the solving of the model are discussed in detail to some extent. Appropriate decision making variables are taken to make the multi-airport network system linear 0-1 integer programming model, thus, the solving of the model is available and the central flow management is realized. The heuristic implicit enumeration presented in this paper can effectively solve this kind of problems. Through the simulation of some airports network system, we not only validate the algorithm presented in this paper, but also give a deep analysis of the results, which would produce reference for later practicable use. The simulation proves that this algorithm offers a good way to settle the problem of multi-airport flight queue optimization in air traffic management automation system in terminal area.

  • When using the conventional finite element method, a great number of grid nodes are necessary to describe the large and uneven temperature gradients in the concrete around cooling pipes when calculating the temperature field of mass concrete with cooling pipes. In this paper, the temperature gradient properties of the concrete around a pipe were studied. A new calculation method was developed based on these properties and an explicit iterative algorithm. With a small number of grid nodes, both the temperature distribution along the cooling pipe and the temperature field of the concrete around the water pipe can be correctly calculated with this new method. In conventional computing models, the cooling pipes are regarded as the third boundary condition when solving a model of concrete with plastic pipes, which is an approximate way. At the same time, the corresponding parameters have to be got by expensive experiments and inversion. But in the proposed method, the boundary condition is described strictly, and thus is more reliable and economical. And numerical examples were used to illustrate that this method is accurate, efficient and applicable to the actual engineering.

  • The development of Science and Technology and the social change require new paradigm in Education. In a traditional paradigm, learners have been regarded as a passive being and knowledge could be transmitted to learner. But within this paradigm, it is difficult to confront the social change and to develop problem solving skills in various context. This results in a new, alternative perspective, Constructive paradigm. As an alternative to the traditional settings, Constructive paradigm emphasizes the learner centered instruction. The reform movement in mathematics education including NCTM's standards revolves around this paradigm and the open education movement in our educational system is based on it. Open education values learner's interest, autonomy and internal motivation in learning. However, open education has been misunderstood by most of the teachers. It should be understood as the change of paradigm. In this study, as a way of helping students connect mathematics to their everyday lives and construct meaningful mathematical knowledge and concept, mathematical modelling is suggested. It consists of posing and specifying the real problem, formulation and constructing a mathematical model, analyzing and solving a mathematical problem. interpreting the solution and comparing with reality and communicating results. In this process, technology like computer can be a powerful tool. It can help students explore various problems more easily and concretely.
