  • In this paper, we propose an efficient watermarking algorithm using block indexing. The proposed algorithm is a novel blind watermarking scheme using the indexed watermark value based on the spread spectrum method. The watermark insertion is allocated into index value of each block after dividing original image into sub-blocks. The watermark embedded in mappinged with index values of blocks, And the mappinged blocks convert to DCT and then the PN sequence embedded to middle frequency band. Consequently the watermark is expressed by index value of sub-blocks. The watermark extracted from the correlation of between PN sequence and watermarked image. Experimental results demonstrate that the watermarked image has a good quality in terms of imperceptibility and is robust against various attacks.

  • In this paper, we propose a digital watermarking method for still images, in which the human visual system (HVS) is used in the discrete cosine transform (DCT) domain. The modulation transfer function (MTF) of the HVS model is employed to increase the invisibility of the inserted watermark in images. The proposed watermarking method is shown to be robust to several common image processing techniques, including lowpass filtering and cropping. Also, using the energy relationship of the DCT, we derive the equation that directly computes the watermark weighting factor in the DCT domain for the specified peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) of the still image and the length of watermark to be inserted. The difference between desired PSNR and PSNR in spatial domain is within 0.07dB for the 7 test images.

  • Multi-level has advantage to express image in all levels with different images. This paper proposes digital watermarking built-in technique to transform color image to YCbCr color space to guarantee robustness and imperceptibility of the watermark in the various expression of color images, and to hide multi-level data which shows spread spectrum from low resolution to whole resolution for the Y-signal of multi-level. In color signal, Y-signal and low resolution built-in watermark has risk to be visible, but it can guarantee the robustness of watermark in various colors and transformed images. As a result of the experiment, wavelet compression image with built-in watermark showed robustness and imperceptibility of watermark.

  • We analyzed about digital watermarking embedded transmission of still image in wireless multimedia communication environment. Also, we proposed improved watermark techniques. It effects that get in original image than method to use conventional image is less and shows robust watermark restoration ability from outside attack. Performance analysis achieved about still image and restoration of watermark information using OFDM/QPSK still image transmission system in wireless channel environment. Analysis result, VI watermark performance that influence in original image is very small. And it could know that show high restoration performance. Also, It showed superior copyright information extraction performance than image watermark in wireless channel environment of same transmission error condition.

  • Digital watermarking has been proposed as a solution to the problem of copyright protection of the multimedia documents. In this paper a new watermarking method for digital images operating in the frequency domain is proposed. In our approach, DCT coefficients of the watermark are added to the low frequency region of the host image, and extract it using the Wiener Filter. Due to the characteristic of the wiener filtering, the watermark is robust to various image processing techniques. Experimental results show that it is possible to reliably extract the watermark without degrading image quality.

  • A new video watermarking scheme with robustness against collusion and synchronization attacks is presented. We propose to embed only a few copies of the watermark along the temporal axis into frames, which are located at the borders of each two different plotlines of the video. As a result, each change of the video plotline is transformed into pulse, which is used for watermark embedding and extraction. In addition, since we embed a watermark only into a small number of frames, the distortions of the video are reduced to minimum. Experimental results show the robustness of the proposed scheme.

  • In this paper, watermark embedding technique was proposed to securely conceal the watermark in color cover image by applying the spatial encryption technique. The embedded watermak can be extracted from stego-image without loss. The quality of the stego-image is very good. So it is not possible to visually distinguish the difference between the original cover image and the stego-image. The validity of the proposed technique was verified by mathematical analysis. The proposed watermark embedding technique can be used for intellectual property protection, military, and medical applications that require high security.

  • In this paper, we propose an audio extraction method to decrease the influence of the original signal by modifying the watermarking detection system proposed by P. Bassia et al. In the extraction of the watermark, we employ a simple mean filter to remove the influence of the original signal as a preprocessing of extraction and the repetitive insertion of the watermark. As the result of the experiment, for which we used about 20 kinds of actual audio data, we obtain a watermark detection rate of about 95% and a good performance even after the various signal processing attacks.

  • In this paper, we proposed a blind watermarking algorithm to use characteristics of a scalar quantizer which is similar with the recommended in the JPEG2000 and JPEG. This algorithm shifts a quantization index according to the value of each watermark bit to prevent losing the watermark information during the compression by quantization. Therefore, the watermark is embedded during the process of quantization, not an additional process for watermarking, and adaptively applied as an assigned quantizer according to application area. In the embedding process, a LFSR(Linear feedback shift register) is used to hide the watermarking positions. Therefore the embedded watermark can be extracted by only the owner who knows the initial value of LFSR without the original image. The experimental results showed that the proposed algorithm satisfies the robustness and imperceptibility corresponding to the major requirement of watermarking.
