  • The purpose of this study is to confirm the adhesion performance of the three - dimensional forming fiber panels by the dimensional forming angle. As a result of applying the three dimensional surface shape to the back side of the fiber panel and testing the adhesion strength by the three dimensional forming angle, it was confirmed that the bonding strength of the specimens to which the dimensional molding was applied was higher than that of the non dimensional molding. In addition, the highest adhesion strength was confirmed in a specimen having a three-dimensional forming angle of 70 °.

  • This study is conducted to improve efficiency of thermal storage tank. The thermal storage tank was designed to store heat energy that obtained from solar or the others heat sources. However, it has difficulties in storing heat with uniform temperature through the entire tank with respect to vertical direction. This kind of maldistribution of the supplied heat to the storage tank effects on the system performance. In this study is focused on utilization of the thermal stratification to improve thermal comfort for people in the house. To enhance temperature stratification of the tank, a distributor was designed and Installed in the middle of the tank. The distributor is supplies hottest water to the top side of the tank which is very close to inlet of the supply line to the heating load. The hottest water that is accumulated on top side of the tank is firstly supplied to the load with higher temperature. Reminder water takes a little time to warming up until desired supply temperature reached. This kind alternating selection of the supply temperature is improve thermal comfort with moderated system performance.

  • In this study, foreign and domestic noise criteria on walls, floors, and water supply facilities were reviewed and the results are as follows : regulation can be divided two things, one is on thickness the other is sound insulation performance. Green Building regulation based on the law and this have sound classification systems. Since these regulations are not established in Korea. The noise regulation on water supply-drain facilities and domestic guideline on interior noise level is needed. Foreign regulations are stricter than those of ours. And those has sound classification system for the better acoustic condition of inhabitants'.

  • This study was analyzed the long term performance of the demonstration system for solar energy desalination in Jeju. we used a solar thermal system as heat source of the single-stage fresh water generator with plate-type heat exchangers and a photovoltaic power system as electric source for hydraulic pumps. The demonstration system was designed and installed at Jeju-island in 2006. The system was comprised of the desalination unit with daily fresh water capacity designed as $2m^3$ a $120m^2$ evacuated tubular solar collector to supply the heat, a $6m^3$ heat storage tank, and a 5kW photovoltaic power generation to supply the electricity of hydraulic pumps for the heat medium fluids. Through the operation during about 3 years, In a clear day more than $400W/m^2$, the daily fresh water showed to produce more than about 500liter, and from January, 2007 to March, 2009 for 3 years, solar irradiance daily averaged was measured $370W/m^2$, the daily fresh water yield showed that can be produced about 330liter.

지속가능성지수를 이용한 다목적댐의 용수공급 이행도 평가 (Water Supply Performance Assessment of Multipurpose Dams Using Sustainability Index)

  • 지구온난화와 기후변화에 의한 수문사상의 불확실성이 커지고 있는 점을 고려하여 수자원의 지속가능성은 매우 중요한 과제로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라 주요 다목적댐을 대상으로 지속가능성지수를 이용하여 용수공급 이행도를 평가하였다. 수자원시스템 용수공급 평가에 많이 활용되고 있는 지표들을 대상으로 적용성과 유연성을 고려하여 선정하고, 선정된 매개변수로 구성된 복합지수를 이용하여 통합적으로 평가하는 방식이다. 실질적으로 신뢰도, 회복도, 취약도 및 최대물부족도 등을 기초 매개변수로 댐의 용수공급 지속가능성지수를 구성하고 15개 다목적댐을 대상으로 개별 댐과 유역별로 평가하였다. 평과결과, 금강유역의 대청댐과 낙동강 유역의 임하, 합천 및 남강댐이 취약한 것으로 나타났으며, 유역은 낙동강 유역이 가장 취약하여 용수공급 안전도 향상을 위한 대응방안이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Pipe network of hot water heat supply system in an apartment house was analyzed. Flowrate and supply heat capacity of each household in which constant flowrate balancing valve is installed in a single zone system were calculated and the results were investigated. In the existing piping system, the non-uniformity of heat supply with floors due to the static pressure and temperature difference between supply main and return main can not be avoided and this tendency get intense with the increase of the height of building. The non-uniformity of heat supply can be prevented by the installation of balancing valve at each household, however if the performance of supply pump is not sufficient to overcome the energy loss due to the installation of balancing valve for constant flow rate or if the selection of the valve capacity is not adequate, the valves will may lose their controllability.

EPANET을 이용한 농업용 관수로 시스템의 운영 및 유지관리 인자 분석 (Analysis of Operating and Maintenance Parameters for Agricultural Pipeline System Using EPANET)

  • In this study, EPANET model which is using on the pipe network analysis was applied to Haenam irrigation district has provided irrigation water by pipeline system about 1,125ha and then have built pipe network to study area and supply performance evaluation of existing structure was analyzed by SPA (Single Period Analysis) in EPANET. As model results of simulation average ratio of maximum supply quantity/irrigation water requirements(base demand) was analyzed by 2.63. It means also that was analyzed as being capable of ensuring the water supply capacity. It was provided the necessary information for the maintenance facility through analyzed hydraulic behaviors in the pipeline inside such as flow velocities, pressures and hydraulic grade lines. It was satisfied with the allowable design criteria that was compared analyzed results with presented allowable design standards at agricultural production infra improvement project planning and design (Pipeline design standard). In order to analyze efficiency promotions of irrigation water, using Extended Period Simulation it was compared supply quantity with irrigation water requirements while pumps set operating pattern in 24 hours, then efficiency promotions of irrigation water was determined through analyzed oversupply water quantity and occurrence time by branch lines. According to results for oversupply quantity in Haenam district by time and end of branch lines efficiency promotions of irrigation water was suggested from 0.33 % to 37.59 %. To draw reasonable operating rules for water use and through this research, it is expected to be helpful for efficient water use and operational management of agricultural pipeline system to the current agricultural irrigation.

2단 압축 수열원 열펌프 시스템의 부분부하 운전특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the part-load performance of 2-stage water source heat pump)

  • The river water heat source heat pump has the advantage in the performance compared to air source heat pump. In this study, an experimental study on a 2-stage heat pump, which is designed to utilize a river water heat source, were carried out. Generally, a heat pump is designed for maximum capacity rate, but it actually operates at part load condition in most cases. Therefore, an information on the part-load characteristic is very important in view of the system overall performance. In this study, part-load performance tests of a R134a 2-stage compression heat pump were carried out over the river water and supply heating water temperature changes.

  • Recently, Stirling engines are emerging as a key device for power conversion of renewable energy or waste energy. This study develops a LTDSE(Low Temperature Differential Stirling Engine) using a water spray for higher heat transfer and performs load performance tests for various flow rates and temperatures of hot water spray for variable engine loads emulated by a mechanical friction device. Internal temperature and pressure, working frequency and inlet and outlet temperature of the supply water are measured. As a result, the increases in flow rate and temperature of hot water respectively enhance the power output, efficiency and the working frequency, while the increasing engine load leads to decreases in working frequency but increases in the pressure amplitude. Eventually, it is revealed there exists a maximum shaft power of the test engine.

저온 외기조건에서 케스케이드 급탕열펌프의 성능특성에 관한 해석적 연구 (Numerical Study of the Performance Characteristics of a Cascade Heat Pump Water Heater at Low Ambient Temperatures)

  • Heat pump systems have been widely adopted in buildings for cooling and heating, due to their higher energy efficiency. Recently, the demand for hot water supply from the heat pump system has been increasing. To increase the water supply temperature with higher system efficiency and reliability, a heat pump water heater adopting cascade cycle was investigated in this study. The cascade heat pump water heater consisted of a low-stage cycle using R410A, and a high-stage cycle using R134a. A simulation program for the cascade heat pump water heater was developed, and verified by comparison with experimental data. The performance of the cascade heat pump water heater was optimized, by varying the compressor rotating speeds of the low- and high-stage cycles. At low ambient temperatures, the performance of the cascade cycle was compared with that of the single-stage cycle. The system efficiency of the cascade cycle was higher than that of the single-stage cycle, showing a lower compression ratio and compressor discharge temperature.
