MANET에서 악의적 노드 탐지율 향상을 위한 협업모델 설계 (Collaboration Model Design to Improve Malicious Node Detection Rate in MANET)

  • MANET에서는 합법적인 노드와 비합법적인 노드 모두 네트워크에 접근이 가능함에 따라 보안 취약점을 안고 있다. MANET에 관한 대부분의 연구들은 라우팅 경로 또는 패킷 전달에 대한 공격 측면에만 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 악의적인 노드의 다양한 공격에 효과적으로 대응하는데 한계가 있다. 이 논문에서는 MANET에서 다양한 악의적인 노드를 효율적으로 탐지하기 위한 DTecBC (detection technique of malicious node behaviors based on collaboration) 기법을 제안하였다. 제안 기법은 이웃 노드들 간의 협업관계를 기반으로 상호 메시지 교환을 통하여 악의적인 노드를 관리할 수 있도록 설계하였다.. 제안기법의 효율성 검증을 위해 OPNET 시뮬레이션 툴을 사용하여 기존의 대표적 탐지기법인 Watchdog, CONFIDANT, SRRPPnT와 비교하였다. 평가 결과, 제안 기법은 기존 기법들에 비해 다양한 유형의 악의적인 노드 행위를 종합적으로 탐지 가능함이 확인 되었다.

사출성형 공정에서의 통합정비방법에 관한 연구 (An Integrated Maintenance in Injection Molding Processes)

  • Recently as the manufacturers want competitiveness in dynamically changing environment, they are trying a lot of efforts to be efficient with their production systems, which may be achieved by diminishing unplanned operation stops. The operation stops and maintenance cost are known to be significantly decreased by adopting proper maintenance strategy. Therefore, the manufacturers were more getting interested in scheduling of exact maintenance scheduling to keep smooth operation and prevent unexpected stops. In this paper, we proposedan integrated maintenance approach in injection molding manufacturing line. It consists of predictive and preventive maintenance approach. The predictive maintenance uses the statistical process control technique with the real-time data and the preventive maintenance is based on the checking period of machine components or equipment. For the predictive maintenance approach, firstly, we identified components or equipment that are required maintenance, and then machine parameters that are related with the identified components or equipment. Second, we performed regression analysis to select the machine parameters that affect the quality of the manufactured products and are significant to the quality of the products. By this analysis, we can exclude the insignificant parameters from monitoring parameters and focus on the significant parameters. Third, we developed the statistical prediction models for the selected machine parameters. Current models include regression, exponential smoothing and so on. We used these models to decide abnormal patternand to schedule maintenance. Finally, for other components or equipment which is not covered by predictive approach, we adoptedpreventive maintenance approach. To show feasibility we developed an integrated maintenance support system in LabView Watchdog Agent and SQL Server environment and validated our proposed methodology with experimental data.

  • There are various polluting emissions related to the air quality such as $NO_x$, $CO_2$, CO, VOCs, $O_3$, $SO_2$, $CH_4$, $H_2S$, $NH_3$, etc. We need the system that reduces emission of these environment gases and detects risk factors in modern society. Therefore, if we use the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technology and a MAV(Micro Air Vehicle) Quad Rotor which can be hovering and moving free for setting up the environment gas sensing system, the realtime measurement on environment gases is facilitated and by extension, in application of traffic watchdog, forest fire surveillance and counter-terrorism efforts, we anticipate making better use of a Quad Rotor.

  • 최근 인터넷의 초고속 성장과 멀티미디어 데이터의 급격한 증가로 인해서, 고속의 전송매체와 이를 최적으로 이용하기 위한 인터페이스 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라, 이더넷이 기가비트 이더넷으로 발전되어 LAN 인터페이스 시스템의 고속화를 이루고 있다. 그러나, 폭발적으로 증가하는 인터넷 환경에서 기가비트 이상의 고속 네트워크 대역폭을 지원하는 NIC(Network Interface Card)가 요구되고 있다. 이를 해결하고자, 기가비트 이상의 고속의 네트워크 대역폭을 지원하는 다중(Multiple) NIC의 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나, 고속의 네트워크 대역폭을 지원하는 다중 NIC를 운영할 때, 단일 NIC 결함으로 인해 시스템 운영이 중단되는 현상이 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 효율적인 결함허용 기법을 적용하여 신뢰성 있는 시스템 운영을 지원할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 하드웨어 결함 허용기법인 TMR, Primary-Standby Approach, Watchdog Timer 기법에서 발생되는 자원에 대한 가용성과 내구성의 비효율적인 부분을 고려하여, 동적으로 검출주기를 변환하여 다운타임(Downtime)을 최소화할 수 있는 효율적인 결함 허용 메카니즘을 설계하여 제안하고자 한다.

우리 나라 연안여객선 보조항로의 운항수지분석과 보조금 적정성에 관한 연구 (Analysis on the Profitability of Coastal Passenger Ships on the Subsidized Routes and Optimization of the Subsidy)

  • This paper aims, first to analyse the profitability of coastal passenger ships deployed on both subsidized and non-subsidized routes, ie competitive routes, in Korea, second to evaluate them by route, by ship type, and by ship size, and finally to identify whether the ships deployed on subsidized routes are justifiable to receive subsidy from the government. They are followed by the analyses on the profitability of all ships on the coastal routes and their dependence rate of subsidy. The research covers the period of 1995-1997. The research results say that 35% of the total subsidized routes has more than 90% of subsidy dependence rate and that some monopolized routes among subsidized ones with moderate rate of profitability need to be crossed out from the list of subsidy beneficiary. In addition, some ships deployed are not appropriate type in terms of characteristics of route and traffic. One of implications drawn from this study is that the government has to set up a watchdog to monitor subsidized routes, which enables to make them competitive and save the budget.

  • 최근 ICT 기술이 발달함에 따라 전쟁의 양상이 물리적에서 사이버전으로 이동되고 있으며 이미 사이버 공간을 제 5의 전장으로 불리운다. 또한 오랜 기간 동안 단계적으로 준비 과정을 거쳐 공격하는 APT 사례가 증가함에 따라 공격 징후를 사전에 탐지해 선제 대응하는 사이버 킬 체인이라는 방안이 각광받고 있다. 이러한 사이버 킬 체인 중 가장 기초가 되는 감시/정찰을 수행하기 위한 방안을 연구하면서 적의 영역에 침투했다는 가정하에서 정보를 수집하는 프로그램을 설계 및 제작해 보았다.

고속병렬컴퓨터(SPAX)에서의 효율적인 메시지 전달을 위한 메시지 전송 기법 (A Message Transfer Scheme for Efficient Message Passing in the Highly Parallel Computer SPAX)

  • In this paper, we present a message transfer scheme for efficient message passing in the hierarchically structured multiprocessor computer SPAX(Scalable Parallel Architecture computer based on X-bar network). The message transfer scheme provides interface not only with operating system but also with end users. In order to transfer two types of control message and data message efficiently, it supports both of memory-mapped transfer and DMA-based transfer. Dual-port RAMs are used as message buffers, and control and status registers provide efficient programming interface. Interlaced parity scheme is adopted for error control. If any error is detected at receiving node, errored packet is resent by sender according to retry mechanism. In conjunction with retry mechanism, watchdog timers are used to protect infinite waiting and repeated retry. The proposed message transfer scheme can be applied to input/output nodes and communication connection nodes as well as processing nodes in the SPAX.

A Study on Development Direction of Smart Pole for Smart City Construction

  • Smart pole is one of mega trend in smart city development. It has multi-function to get as much as data from the street to better city management. And smart street lighting of smart pole as core part of smart city development is being implemented by many cities in globally. Refer to the latest edition of Navigant Research's Smart City Tracker includes smart city projects in 221 cities, a quarter of which are deploying smart street lighting ranging from initial pilots to citywide and regional deployments that span tens and even hundreds of thousands of lights. The most important feature of smart street lighting solution is "Connectivity" through the IoT technology. In order to implement the smart city, we should have so-called intelligent watchdog and mesh networked post for keeping the various smart city technology development progress and operation properly. Smart street lighting solution could be main infrastructure as an enabler for a range of smart city applications. We can talk about the expected role of smart street lighting for the smart city development on this paper.
