폐어망을 이용한 섬유보강 콘트리트의 적용성 연구 (Feasibility Study of Fiber Reinforced Concrete Using Waste Fishing Net)

  • PURPOSES : To evaluate the feasibility of cut waste fishing net as a reinforced fiber for concrete. METHODS : Strength characteristics of fiber reinforced concrete using waste fishing net were investigated. The cut waste fishing nets with 4~5cm length were putted into the soil-cement and cement concrete for pavement slab. RESULTS : Compression and tensile strength of fiber reinforced concrete using waste fishing net were increased. CONCLUSIONS : It was concluded that cut waste fishing net can be used as a reinforced fiber for cement concrete. However, sometimes using cut waste fishing net leads to decrease the strength; therefore, further researches are needed for real project.

부산지역 초등학교 급식소의 잔식 관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Management of Food Waste in Elementary School Foodservices)

  • Food waste in school foodservices is an important factors in managing expense and in evaluating the acceptance of served meals. This study was undertaken to investigate the management of food waste and the opinion of dietitians in one hundred fourty nine elementary school foodservices, in Pusan, Korea. When serving places were compared, the classroom generated more leftover and plate waste than those of lunchroom(p<0.05). In rank for generating raw waste, the residue from vegetables was the highest in first order. Fruit, eggs, fish, and shell fish also left the most raw waste, respectively, in descending order. The residue that generated the most plate waste in the first and the second order was from soup and pot stew, and vegatables side dishes, respectively. The treatment process of food waste which was the most common in school foodservices was the fertilization by processing machine in order to make recyclable fertilizer(52.1%). Food waste at 30.8% of foodservices was processed for live stock feed. At 92.3% of investigated foodservices, food waste water was drained through a round net basket. Before treating as a waste, food residue was recycled at only 41.9% of foodservices. The main utilization of food residue was the production of soap from used oil. Most dietitians in school foodservices recognized that treating food waste was not so inconvenient, although, the problems of odor and hygiene were not solved. They also thought that the liquid residue(54.1%) and oil(30.4%) among food waste were primarily responsible for resulting environmental pollution.

Preparation and Nutritional Evaluation of Hatchery Waste Meal for Broilers

  • Hatchery waste including infertile eggs, dead embryos in shell, dead or low grade chicks was cooked at $100^{\circ}C$ for 15 minutes and then oven dried and ground. Hatchery waste meal (HWM) thus prepared contained 44.25% protein, 4,573 kcal/kg gross energy, 3,600 kcal/kg metabolizable energy, 30% ether extract, 1.9% fibre, 14% ash, 9.8% nitrogen free extract, 7.26% Ca, 0.84%P, 1.86% lysine and 0.66% methionine with no Salmonella and E. coli. In biological evaluation trial, significantly higher weight gain was observed in ration containing 12% HWM compared with that containing similar amount of fish meal. Protein efficiency ratio on the two rations was 3.96 vs 2.85; protein digestibility, 86.02 vs 71.9; net protein utilization, 64.9 vs 42.37 and biological value, 75.37 vs 58.84, respectively, indicating better balance of amino acids in HWM compared with fish meal. Growth performance trial on broiler chicks also revealed better weight gain and feed efficiency on ration containing 12% HWM than that containing similar level of fish meal.

  • I have studied historical transition process of fisheries industries, fisheries Institute in abreast of developing fisheries industries of west coast of Korea since 1910 year with regard to the Gogunsan Is. The results were summarized as follows. In 1910 year, fishery industry has been carried out shifting fishing gear e.g set-net in shallow waters, small stow net, small seine net adapting to the tophorgrapical feature, shape of coast, oceanic condition, however, the fishing gear and fishing method were undeveloped, so that, Japanese fishermen had been exploited fisheries resources penetrating the fishing ground. Most important species were lot of captured croaker, cod, spanish mackeral, sea abream, herring in coastal sea. nowaday, squid, anchovy, shrimp, crab, pompret were much captured. The species were captured in 18 century were not captured. It is rarely than that period. Fishereis aquatic culture had been not farmed till 1960 year, but sea laver, shrimp, crab, had been breeded 1970 year also, the fresh water fish e.g. eel, cat-fish had been breeded activately. The fisheries processing industry were composed of salt. icing, dry, method. the salted fish industry had been prevailed at Gangyng, Kwangchon, Kunsan, Julpo comparatively. The fisheries institute had been established at Kunsan at first, but institute established in other region had been abolished in a short time. This phenomenon was related with development of fisheries resources. The western coast fisheries industries had been wasted of decreasing of fisheries resources, variation of environment. Accordingly, the study of preserving the marine resources. educated man power who engaged in fisheries field have to accomplish. Sea was dying with reason of loss of mud in west coast factory waste, waste of life the increase of accident of sea polluted, each illegal fishing industry physical and chemical reason etc. in this respect, Kusan maritime college, fisheries developing agency, institute have to take important role for developing fishing industry.

HRNet 기반 해양침적쓰레기 수중영상의 의미론적 분할 (Semantic Segmentation of the Submerged Marine Debris in Undersea Images Using HRNet Model)

  • 해양환경 및 해양생태계를 파괴하고 해양사고의 원인이 되는 해양쓰레기는 매년 늘어나고 있으나 그 중 해양침적쓰레기는 해저에 위치해 있어 파악과 수거에 어려움이 있다. 이에 효율적인 수거와 분포량 파악을 위해 수중촬영 이미지를 이용하여 폐그물과 폐밧줄을 대상으로 딥러닝 기반의 의미론적 분할을 실험하였다. 분할에는 최신 딥러닝 기법인 high-resolution network (HRNet)을 사용하고 최적화 알고리즘(optimizer) 별 성능 비교를 하였다. 분할 결과 그물에서는 adaptive moment estimation (Adam), Momentum, stochastic gradient descent(SGD) 순으로 F1 score=(86.46%, 86.20%, 85.29%), IoU=(76.15%, 75.74%, 74.36%) 이며, 밧줄은 F1 score=(80.49%, 80.48%, 77.86%), IoU=(67.35%, 67.33%, 63.75%)로 그물과 밧줄에서 모두 Adam의 결과가 가장 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과를 통해 optimizer 별 분할 성능 평가와 최신 딥러닝 기법의 해양침적쓰레기 분할에 대한 가능성을 확인하였다. 이에 따라 수중촬영 이미지를 통한 해양침적쓰레기 식별에 최신 딥러닝 기법을 적용시킴으로써 육안을 통한 식별보다 정확하고 효율적인 식별을 통해 해양침적쓰레기의 분포량 산정에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

남해안 가두리 양식장 밀집해역의 대형저서동물 군집에 대한 연구 (A Study of the Macrozoobenthos at the Intensive fish Fanning Grounds in the Southern Coast of Korea)

  • 가두리를 이용한 집약적 어류양식은 지난 20년 동안 남해안의 만 내에서 크게 활성화되어 왔다. 그러나 이러한 집약적 가두리 양식은 잉여사료와 어류의 배설물과 갊은 형태로 많은 양의 유기물을 발생시킨다. 본 조사는 가두리 양식장 밀집해역인 가막만의 월호도와 통영의 학림해역에서 가두리 양식이 생태계에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 1998년 11월에 저서동물을 채집하였다. 가두리 양식장 인접지역에서 저서동물은 종 수. 밀도, 다양도에 있어서 급격한 변화를 보였으며, 이런 변화는 가두리로부터 30m 이내에서 나타났다. 가두리로부터 5m 이내에서 낮은 다양도와 높은 밀도를 보였으며, 유기물 오염지표종인 Capitella capitata가 우점하였다 15~30 m 지점에서는 높은 종 수와 밀도를, 그리고 가두리가 설치되지 않은 대조구에서는 높은 다양도를 보이는 정상적인 환경인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 가두리로부터 0~5m 지점은 유기물에 의해 심하게 부영양화 되었으며, 15~30m지점은 부영양화 상태인 것으로 여겨진다. 이와 같은 결과를 종합해 볼 때 가두리 양식장은 다른 형태의 유기물 오염과 유사한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 반 폐쇄적인 만에서 가두리 양식으로부터 배출되는 유기물에 의한 자가오염은 해양 저서 생태계에 심각한 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다

제주 북서해역 선박기인 해양폐기물 발생량 분석 (Analysis of the Generation Amount of Abandoned Marine Waste from Ships in the Northwest Sea of Jeju Island)

  • 제주해역은 많은 상선 및 어선들이 항해를 하고, 자망, 트롤 등 다양한 어구를 활용하여 어로활동을 하고 있다. 그 동안 해양폐기물 수집은 주로 제주도 해안 및 연안해역에서 시행되고 있으나, 연근해 해역에서 발생되는 해양폐기물 발생에 대한 수집 및 연구가 미미하였다. 이에 본 연구는 제주대학교 실습선을 이용하여 제주도 북서해역에 침전한 해양폐기물을 수거하고 각 폐기물별로 관련 선박의 항적을 분석하였다. 또한 일정 구역 및 선박 체류시간별로 얼마나 많은 해양폐기물을 투기하고 있는지 분석하기 위해 선박자동식별장치 항적데이터를 활용하여 대상해역에 선박이 체류한 시간을 추출하여, 어선업종별로 1 ㎢ 단위구역에서 시간당 해양폐기물 발생양을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 연근해 해역은 어선기인 폐어구가 대다수였으며, 그중 자망 및 통발 어구가 많은 비율을 차지하고 있었다. 본 연구에서 단위구역에서 시간당 해양폐기물 발생량은 자망어업이 평균 0.94 kg, 통발어업이 3.49 kg, 저인망어업이 0.10 kg, 연승어업이 0.11 kg, 기타어업이 0.02 kg으로 산출되었다. 이 결과를 활용하여 향후 연근해 수중환경 정화시 해양폐기물 발생이 높은 해역위주로 해양폐기물 수거가 가능할 것이다.

Influence of operation of thermal and fast reactors of the Beloyarsk NPP on the radioecological situation in the cooling pond: Part II, Macrophytes and fish

  • The influence of waste technological waters of thermal and fast reactors of Beloyarsk NPP (Russia) on the accumulation of 60Co, 90Sr and 137Cs in macrophytes and ichthyofauna of the cooling pond has been studied. Critical radionuclides, routes of their entry into the ecosystem and periods of maximum discharge of radioisotopes into the cooling pond have been determined. It is shown that the technology of electricity generation at the Beloyarsk NPP, based on fast reactors, has a much smaller effect on the release of artificial radionuclides into the environment. Therefore, during the entire period of monitoring studies (1976-2019), the decrease in the specific activity of radionuclides of NPP origin in macrophytes was 13-25800 times, in ichthyofauna 1.5-44.5 times. The maximum discharge of artificial radionuclides into the Beloyarsk reservoir was noted during the period of restoration and decontamination work aimed at eliminating the emergencies at the AMB reactors of NPP. The factors influencing the accumulation of artificial radionuclides in the components of the freshwater ecosystem of the Beloyarsk cooling pond have been determined, including: the physicochemical nature of radioisotopes, their concentration in surface water, the temperature of the aquatic environment, the trophicity of the reservoir, the species of hydrobionts.

순환여과식 사육수정화 재사용방법에 의한 Pilot 규모의 어류양식시험 (PILOT SCALE FISH PRODUCTION IN WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM)

  • 면적 $26\;m^2$, 여과용 자갈 약 $15\;m^3$로 된 자갈 여과 장치에 연결된 단위면적 약 $7m^2$ 되는 사육탱크 6개와 보조탱크 2개로 구성된 장치에서 어류를 사육하면서 1980년 4월 18일부터 동 10월 14일까지의 180일간의 성장결과를 정리하여 본 결과는 다음과 같다. 1개의 사육탱크를 주실험용으로 사용했으며 이스라엘계 잉어와 이 종과 국내산 잉어 사이의 $F_1$ 잡종을 같은 수량씩 넣어 기른 결과는 총생산 461kg, 순생산 395kg였으며 그 중 이스라엘계 잉어는 약 8배로 성장했는데, $F_1$ 잡종은 약 6배로 성장했다. 남은 탱크에 수용한 잡다어류의 성장결과와 상기 생산량을 참작해 보니 이 시설을 보완개선해 가면서 이용하면 산업적 생산시도도 가능할 것으로 짐작된다. 특히 어류밀도가 높아졌을 때는 보다 효율적인 폭기방법을 이용함이 필요했다. 이 실험을 위해 만들어 사용한 부순환류이용의 고형오염물침전 제거장치는 용수절약을 위해서 효율적이며, 그 기능이 잘 발휘되었다. 가장 문제된 점은 아가미흡충의 심한 번식이었으며, Dipterex, DDVP 등의 사용으로 처음은 잘 제거되지만 곧 저항개체의 출현과 번식으로 이들 약품의 효력이 나타나지 않음을 알았다. 그리고, 이스라엘계 순종은 Dipterex 사용에 의해서 거의 대부분이 기형어로 되지만 $F_1$ 잡종 및 국내산 일반 잉어에는 기형어가 거의 나타나지 않았다.

ITQ 어업관리의 기본이론과 경제적 효과분석 - 붉은대게어업을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Economic Effects and Basic Theoretical Frameworks of ITQ Fishery Management - Focusing on the Red Crab Trap Fishery -)

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide information that will help both fishing industry and fisheries authority understand the principals of individual transferable quota(ITQ) fishery management. Theoretical frameworks and primary features of ITQ fishery managemenet are the assignment of exclusive property rights for harvest of common - property fisheries resources. An ITQ fishery management is fundamentally different from the conventional fishery management and it gives an individual fisherman the right to catch a specified quantity of fish, his quota. With ITQ, fisherman's quotas are transferable, in whole or in part. An ITQ is a property with certain rights of use, namely, the right to catch a given quantity and species of fish in a specific location during a specific period of time. The right is exclusive in the sense that no one else has the right to use the quota without the owner's permission. The property may be assigned, traded, and exchanged; i.e., the owner has the right to transfer an ownership to others. An ITQ fishery management leads to both economic efficiency and resource conservation. Motivations to overexploit stocks and to overcapitalize should be lessened because fishermen no longer have to compete for limited resources. There are significant positive net benefits and advantages with ITQ fishery management than without. The potential benefits and advantages of ITQ fishery management include increased profits, economic stability, improved product quality, safer working conditions, less gear conflict, elimination of the race - to - fish phenomenon, less by - catch, less gear loss, improved investment climate, mitigation of market gluts, waste reduction, addition to fisherman's wealth, and compensation for fisherman exiting the fishery. As an independent observe to Red Crab Trap Fishery some of the benefits, problems, and effects, an ITQ fishery management in Red Crab Trap Fishery is still far from to be implemented. Many different and difficult aspects (biological, socioeconomics, administrative) are involved considering the implementation of ITQ fishery management in Red Crab Trap Fishery. Among other fishery management tools, the implementation of ITQ fishery management in Red Crab Trap Fishery is considered to be the best in achieving the better conservation of fisheries resources and their more economic and rational exploitation. Korean fisheries authority should pay great attention to the experience of the economic effects of the ITQ fishery management in Red Crab Trap Fishery in the hope of being able to implement at least some of those experiences into the Korean fishery management.
